After that super overpowered hacked build I made, I figured I’d show myself receiving a bit of punishment to justify it lol. I was so underpowered that Bread was the MVP of this run.
So yeah, shortly after uploading my last challenge, I had theorized what way I could make a build work with none of the slots enchanted. It did actually work to a degree, which prompted me to try pushing it just a BIT further by dropping Gong of Weakening, in order to push its capabilities to the limit.
Don’t think I should’ve chosen Stronghold. Creepers were dangerous lol.
I had wanted to actually upload a video using an incredibly broken build that a few of you might know about, also tested to its limit, but I thought it’d be better to first pull this one out of the vault and upload it first, to show a super restricted build and then a broken build.
Also because the topic of restricted builds was brought up in my Discord, which prompted me to pull this one out lol.
I suppose I could have gone for Mystery Armor with Life Steal and -40% cooldown, so I could’ve used a Double Axe with no enchantments, but while it would’ve been less DPS, the knockback of a Double Axe can’t be understated. I’ve done complete no-healing runs with my non-Leeching Cursed Axe with Renegade Armor before, because mobs just couldn’t get close enough to hit me. I’d accidentally pick up food before dropping to 80% most of the time.
So despite Beginning and the End having a lot of DPS, they’re kinda worse because you have to get in close and trade a lot of hits. Not worth it for the extra DPS and built-in healing, especially since 6% life steal on-hit is better than 5% Leeching on-kill at that point.
Also Pink Scoundrel was chosen because I knew there could be bad RNG situations where I needed to enrage some mobs in order to have a chance, either to divide aggro for openings, thin out a group of enchanted Creepers (especially ones with Double Damage, Protection, Regeneration, heals Allies, and/or more), cut off Heals Allies from healing or being heled by other Heals Allies mobs, and weaken thick groups of Burning mobs that would annihilate me otherwise.
The music used was Tricky Maze from the Lost World stage of Sonic Adventure.
