Hey everybody welcome back to a brand new video here on the channel where I want to talk about Minecraft and boredom and the tricks that I use to never get bored in Minecraft so if you’ve been watching the channel for a while then you know I play a lot of Minecraft we take on some pretty big projects here on the channel so in an effort to give back I’m going to give you guys my top five tricks to never get bored in Minecraft ever again so be sure to stick around until the end and hear Me out on all five of these cuz some of them might actually surprise you so setting goals can be divided into two different sections which will give you purpose in the game you can divide it into short-term goals and long-term goals now these two types of goals should link together somehow so let’s Say for example I want to make the fastest horse well that’s going to obviously take a really long time right but what I can do while I’m breeding up my horses is build a beautiful horse stable that would be a short-term goal for me personally long-term goals are Things that should take a really long time to accomplish but have a really satisfying end to them so things like beating the Ender Dragon collecting all the foods getting all the advancements things like this are really fun long-term goals that you can just kind of have in the background that way you Always kind of have a general direction for your world to go into but finding these goals isn’t always the easiest thing to do especially if you’re running out of Creative Juice So that actually brings us to our next tip tip number two is a bit more difficult to pinpoint for every person But it’s find what makes you tick so is it Redstone is it building is it exploring and if it’s exploring I feel bad for you cuz Mojang doesn’t add cool stuff anymore but you got to find what works for you and what makes you want to play the game right for me personally It’s making an extremely large and laggy base that never seems to end so I really like doing that but more importantly I like mixing elements of functionality in Redstone and elements of Aesthetics into my builds for you it could be totally different right it could be collecting all the villagers and befriending them It could be building a giant medieval Town it could be a whole bunch of different things some people like making computers in Minecraft and with redstone there’s literally infinite possibilities and I think that’s kind of where the issue lies as well right is that sometimes you don’t know exactly where You want to go and how you want to do it so that brings us to tip number three here keep it simple stupid no but for real the tip is honestly don’t think too far ahead don’t try to think of what everything’s going to be before you’ve Even started I think this is where a lot of people get frustrated is they’ll see a big picture on YouTube thumbnail or on Reddit or something and then they’ll try to build that entire thing in one day but that’s not how you should be doing it take this castle for example how long Have I been posting videos about this Castle a few weeks at this point and if I’m honest with you guys I have absolutely no idea what the next project is going to be before I get it started so that is definitely something to keep in mind is try to enjoy what you’re Doing in the moment and try to keep it in small sections that way you’re not overwhelmed with the grand scale of the project if I’m honest this entire world was built piece by piece I never really thought of what would come next I just thought of what I wanted to do next I Think there’s an important distinction there and now you’re probably wondering well e colio how do you always know what to do next well that’s our next tip challenging yourself to build new things is a great way to actually get new inspiration now I know that sounds kind of counterintuitive and man this Range sucks I know that sounds kind of counterintuitive but if you’re watching YouTube videos and looking at Reddit and all those other things looking for build ideas try to focus on the things you haven’t done before in Styles you’ve never tried that way you’ll actually Spend a lot longer making it for once so you’ll get more play time in and you’ll learn something new and you’ll be more stimulated to keep trying and making it better and on the same line of ideas try and avoid tutorials as much as possible now I know this sounds kind of Counterintuitive to what I’m saying but tutorials really suck out your own creativity after a while if you’re always looking at tutorials on how to build houses or how to make machines you’re not really playing your own game you’re kind of just watching watching other people play the game and you’re Copying them and after a while this can really hurt your creativity and make it really hard for you to make new things and get new ideas so if you’re in a rut and you’re having trouble finding things don’t watch how to build a house tutorial or how to make a farm tutorial Instead try to make your own especially for Farms it’s actually really fun to try and design your own Farm even if it sucks you can watch my world tour and you’ll see like at least 10 Farms that absolutely suck but but I really like them because they’re my Own and the last tip that I can give you in this video is to remember to take breaks and find other things that you enjoy that is really important I do a lot of rock climbing a lot of cycling a lot of stuff like that and I find that Those activities actually really help me to stay motivated in my Minecraft world because I’m not playing Minecraft all the time like some people who watch my videos think so that’s it for today’s video If you enjoyed it and you thought it was useful don’t forget to hit that like button and Subscribe if you want to see some more content like this but until next time I’ll catch you guys in the next Let’s Play episode coming to you very soon take care guys Bye-bye Video Information
