Hello ever’one sila here and welcome back to another bedrock edition tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to trim in the nether dimension in your minecraft of bedrock Edition worlds if you want quick and easy access to all of the nether update features and this is the Video for you of course there is no built-in a feature in bedrock addition to trim at the nether so we have to do it ourselves using a world edit luckily it is a pretty simple and straightforward process and in today’s video I’ll be showing you absolutely Everything that you need to know to do this flawlessly in your Minecraft worlds now this method also works for the N dimension as well so this is technically a two-part tutorial and the first part of this video I’ll show you how to trim it the nether and then at the later Parts of this video I’ll show you how to trim the n dimension so first thing is first this tutorial is geared mostly towards a PC players or players who have access to a PC the world edit tool that we’re gonna be using MCC tool chest PE Is only available on a computer now you can also do these kinds of methods on a mobile device depending on if you can get anchored world and its software and the process it should be fairly similar however I just want to let you know I’m not experienced with worldedit on mobile So I might not be able to help you out as much as you would hope one thing I should clarify at the beginning of this video is that you do not need to reset your nether to get the new features new features will generate in unloaded Chunks of your world of so in areas that you have not yet explored the purpose of today’s video is to get rid of areas that you no longer want and that way those regions can regenerate with the new features the new terrain generation and all the fancy new features from the Nether update so we’re basically just gonna hop straight into it there really isn’t too much more to blabber on about we’re gonna be deleting parts of or the entire nether to get the wonderful new nether terrain from the nether update now before you ever mess with worldedit On your minecraft worlds always make a copy of it so this is the world that we’re gonna be working on we’re gonna go hit the little pencil icon scroll all the way down to the bottom of this menu and then hit the big old giant copy World a button make like 50 copies of your world before or ever touching it worldedit seriously make a few copies you won’t regret it and now that we have a copy of our Minecraft world that we want to reset the nether on we’re going to open up mcc Tool chasse to PE there will be a download link for this program in the description of the video when you first download it your computer might throw a fit and say that it’s not safe trust me it’s safe I’ve been using it for years it’s actually a very good program and It’s getting better all the time and which is really nice to see so what you’re going to do is open the little folder here in the upper left and that is going to show you all of your Minecraft worlds we’re gonna open up a copy of the world that you want to work On that way we don’t delete too anything important and now just wait for that to load the larger your world the longer it may take to load also if you have a very large world like the one that we’re working on it it might say not responding just give it a couple minutes It’ll be fine alright so now it has opened up our world and you can see several different things here on the left side so as you can see our nether regions are actually right here if you click on that it’ll drop down a whole menu and it will show you every single Nether region of your Minecraft world so there’s a few different ways of that we can go about trimming our nether if we want to delete the entire nether all you need to do is delete every single one of these regions and you can either do that by right-clicking and then hitting Delete all and then hit yes very slow and tedious or if you want to do this really really quickly you can hold a control press delete and then hit enter and then basically just start spamming delete and enter and that’ll get rid of all of your regions very very quickly so This is if you want to delete the entire nether if you have absolutely nothing in your nether that you want to save literally to spam delete all of those regions and then hit save and then that is like pretty much it very simple and straightforward isn’t it so chances are You won’t want to delete your entire nether there’s probably a farm or build or another tunnel or something in the nether that you would like to keep now lucky for you there is a fairly straightforward way of keeping specific areas of the nether and what we want to Do for that is go up to the upper left corner and hit the world map button what that is going to do is that’s going to pull up a world map of the overworld and the N dimension and/or the nether so right now this is on overworld what you Can go ahead and do is go to the upper right corner and switch that to the nether that’ll load in the entire another and as you can see this is the entire explored area of this world it’ll also show you where world spawn is from the overworld and all of these red lines Are the regions so these are 512 by 512 areas unfortunately this program cannot yet tell you where things have been built in your nether or what has been built where as you can see everything is just gray and that is because of the bedrock of sealing of the nether no matter what you Do if your settings it’s pretty much not gonna tell you where anything actually helpful is it’s only going to tell you what chunks have been generated which is useful in its own right and we can work with that so let’s say that you know you only built a round of the central point Of your nether so around coordinates of 0 0 you know that your regions around there are probably ones that you want to keep so anything in the 1 or negative 1 region is probably something that you want to keep however as you get further and further away from the central nether You can likely delete these because there’s nothing really out here so what you want to do for that is just control delete as you click on this chunk control delete and that’ll delete that entire region is so fairly straightforward fairly easy now typically what you can also do is select An area and highlight that in blue and that is apparently broken the version of this that I am using however if you select an area using your mouse and then either shift or control you can then go down here to the prune area so the prune area is this button right here and That’ll delete everything outside of your selected area so like if we selected a 5×5 of chunks right here and then hit the prune area that would delete everything outside of that region so fairly convenient if you are messing around and deleting parts of your nether so that’s really all there is to it Again and for the nether it’s gonna be a little bit complicated and not really the most user-friendly if you want to keep a certain areas but if you put in the time and you put in the effort you can certainly save everything that you want to and that’s about all There is a to trimming of the nether you can now get all of the lovely new nether update features wherever you want them in your Minecraft world now there is one thing to be aware of if you’re going through another portal to an area of the Nether that wasn’t just a trimmed it is not going to generate another portal on of the other aside this is because the game already thinks that there is one is there there’s no real way to get around this one so make sure that you bring either some obsidian or an ender chest a To the nether when you’re first going through portals after resetting a parts of your nether so let’s quickly cover how to trim the in dimension as well as you can see we are on the end map of view and there is many many end islands now the reason for wanting to reset the End is obviously pretty clear once you raid the end it’s kind of difficult to go out tens and tens of thousands of blocks to get more light rose and chakra shells especially if you’re on a multiplayer world you will want to reset the in dimension often for more and Materials so this one is really really simple all you want to do is find the main center island which is always gonna be and the zero zero region is surrounded by the other ones as well and then if we just zoom in on this you can See that that is indeed the main island it’s got the portal and all of the obsidian pillars as well now you will also want to make sure that if there’s anything else in the N dimension and that you don’t delete that as you can see we have a ton of amazing map arts From Zaap in the N dimension of course we would want to save those and not trim those if you have something else in the outer end like of this little base over here also from Zaap you would want to make sure not to delete that of course There is the slow way of individually deleting all of the regions one at a time but if you just go ahead and you know a shift to click and select a massive area highlighted in blue and everything that you want to save is inside of that area then all you need to Do is hit the prune button and that will delete everything outside of your selected area making trimming the end extremely is simple and once you have trimmed your world–as to your satisfaction you can go ahead and start playing on one of the copies that you were trimming of course you will want to Keep the original world that you had before you ever did any trimming and that way in case you will find out that you accidentally deleted like someone’s a huge massive bass then you have a backup of the world a to revert to always keep originals before trimming And in general you just want to make a lot of copies of your worlds when playing Minecraft it’s never a bad thing to have a bunch of copies but yeah basically once you have trimmed your worlds you are good to go you can go ahead and hop back into your nether hop Into the end dimension go explore some new areas of low to some new chunks and get all of the precious resources that they bring if you have any questions comments or concerns about today’s tutorial then of course let me know in the
