silentwisperer – Minecraft Bedrock: Updated Trident Killer! AFK EXP & Looting Mob Killer Tutorial! MCPE Xbox PC Ps4

Hello everyone silent here and welcome back to another bedrock edition tutorial today i’ll be showing you how to build a very simple really quick advanced trident killer in your bedrock edition worlds if you’ve built one of these before you know just how good they are

And if you haven’t then you are in for quite the surprise a trident killer is basically a fully automatic kill chamber and that gets you the looting three effect on the mobs that are killed without the player having to do anything at all and also drops experience as well

A standard trident killer will make you stand next to it to collect the experience however this design delivers the experience and the drops directly to the player without you having to do anything at all so you can have an entire series of these at various different mob farms and they will all

Deliver experience directly to you it is incredibly convenient and very nice for a ton of different applications trident killers also work for just about every mob farm in the game and they have so many uses despite the name advance they are really really really easy to build and extremely cheap there’s basically no

Reason not to build these and attach it to your mob farm if you’ve been a fan of the channel for a while you might recognize my previous advanced trending killer and this is actually the version two trident killers don’t necessarily rely on like a feature so they do kind

Of break and change every few updates so this is going to be our third version of the advanced trident killer the reason why we need to make this one is nothing to do with the actual trident killer itself but experience actually floats in water now and if you want to

Automatically deliver the experience to the player well you got to make some changes to make that happen overall it’s a pretty small little change but this system is actually a lot better than the version two the version two uses a hopper minecart to collect the items and

Then shoots that out using a dropper into your item streams this version automatically drops all the items into the water streams so it’s never going to get backed up no matter how many mobs you have in here all the experience and items go directly into the same water

Stream as you can see here so it’s significantly simpler it’s way easier to build and it just works really really well in addition to that we’re also using an impaling five trident inside the build so this is killing everything really quickly as you can see we’re just dumping skeletons in here non-stop and

They are getting completely annihilated there’s always a little bit of confusion around trident killers this thing does not generate mobs this is purely a kill chamber that you then hook up to an existing mob farm in your world so if you’ve built yourself like a creeper

Farm or a zombie or a skeleton or a spider farm then you would build this as the kill chamber this is purely to get rid of the mobs give you the looting three effect and give you the experience this doesn’t have anything to do with spawning them so this trident killer

Works for just about every mob in the game i’ll talk about the three main mobs that it doesn’t work on a little bit later but to demonstrate this we got ourselves some drowned nothing too interesting there of villagers of course because that’s the only way for them to

Understand the pain that they have caused us we also got spooders just completely destroy spooners like they’re just they’re just dead look at that they’re all dead instantly really good for spiders works of course before creepers as well those guys aren’t too interesting though works for witches of course works for spooky scary

Skeletons as we’ve demonstrated pretty thoroughly and of course it works for baby zombies this version is completely baby zombie proof you’ll never have any baby zombies baby piglets or baby drowns escape this build since we’re using a trap door right there and they cannot fit underneath that trapdoor so you

Should never see any mobs escape this build now surprisingly this does also work for ravangers as well so you can use this in your raid farms if you feel like it and this is also a really good ravager killer as well it kills ravagers within three to five seconds simply due

To that impaling five if we didn’t use impaling five it would take about 14 or so seconds so that is why you definitely want to use the impaling that being said this farm is not perfect so this will not work on really really small mobs anything shorter than a baby zombie like

A cave spider a bunny or like a silver fish for example that’s just gonna fit right underneath that trap door and go into your kill area honestly the only thing that you would want to use a trident killer on out of the really short mobs is cave spiders but those

Only come from cave spider spawners if you have like a multi spawner you should really be sending all of your cave spiders into one main kill chamber anyway so therefore you don’t even need xp delivery since you have to stand and near the spawners to activate them

Anyway you stand near the spawners all the spawners go to a single kill chamber you pick up the experience through the wall you don’t need an advanced riding killer for cave spider spawners as for guardians this doesn’t really work that well either because they just bounce

Around and they just don’t get hit that often but you shouldn’t be using this for guardians anyway guardians need one trident killer per spawning spot of the ocean monument so bled don’t use this for guardians either finally does not work for enderman endermen cannot be hit by projectiles and they will just

Teleport away and also the water will make them teleport as well so you can’t use it for enderman either this tutorial is part of my advent calendar for december of 2020 every single day in december i’m releasing a brand new farm tutorial or redstone contraption for you

The 1.16 updates that you should be aware of so stay tuned otherwise anyway the basics behind the trident killer works is anytime a player throws a trident a piston can then move this trident back and forth and every time this trident moves it can then hit and

Damage another mob so of course if you throw this at a skeleton bam it’s gonna damage the skeleton but if we throw this at a piston and then make the piston move that we can dump as many mobs in here as we’d like and that will then

Damage the mobs as you can see there and not only will damage them it will also drop experience from them another really nice bonus of a trident killer is all you have to do is hold a looting sword and that will automatically apply the looting effect to your trident killer so

Literally all you got to do is hold it your trident killer can be anywhere in the world and then it will apply the looting effect to your skeletons or to whatever mobs it is killing so as you can see it is incredibly basic and normally you would be able to set up

Like a million different ways of moving around the trident using a piston however nowadays mobs can actually interact with the trident and kind of nudge it to the side so that’s why we have to push the trident around in a circle there’s not really many other ways around that that are long-term

Reliable and of course you don’t want these things to break because it’s going to be full of a whole lot of very dangerous mobs that you don’t want to mess with you want your trident killer to deal with that for you and never break which is why we push them around

In a circle now another thing that you can do with trident killers is enchant your tridents with impaling 5 or any level of impaling if you have water inside of your trident killer this will deal the impaling damage to your mobs which will kill them so much faster

You’ll still get the experience you’ll still get the eluding effect and everything will just work a lot better as you can see one hit kill if we try and use this with a normal trident that is not going to be a one hit kill so let’s go ahead and activate this real

Quick put a skeleton in there as you can see it’s one two three yeah so it’s literally like three times faster when using on skeletons and in general it is so much faster to use an impaling five trident so for today’s tutorial try and get yourself an

Impaling five a trident any level of impaling will really help a button paling five is what you really want if that wasn’t good enough for you tridents can last forever inside of a trident killer you can use a trident with next to no durability this thing will only

Take a damage when you actually throw it but then it can kill an infinite number of mobs it will never take a single bit of durability damage and it will never despawn either so getting a trident might seem a little bit daunting when you’re trying to build one of these but

You only need one trident per trident killer and they last literally forever so you can’t go wrong with building one of these and another new feature that was added to projectiles in 1.16 is the ability for projectiles to drop armor and equipment and weapons from various

Mobs in the game this of course makes it so that we get more loot from our trident killers because all the mobs that are wearing armor or holding weapons can of course now drop that armor from the trident killer as you can see we got the helmet and we got the

Bell from that skeleton did i mention that you can use a channeling trident no well you can and it is definitely the best site in all of minecraft one thing you should be very aware of if you play in a multiplayer world or a server is that tridents are tied to the

Player who throws them so if i go ahead and throw a trident it is going to be linked to me i have to use a looting 3 sword for the mobs that this trodden kills to drop extra loot and drop experience if i’m not online it’s not

Going to drop anything from the mobs it’s just going gonna be completely inert if another player say you bob wants to come along and use this trident they have to pick it up and then throw it themselves and then they can hold a looting three sword and then the trident

Killer will work perfectly fine for them so if you’re using this for a community farm make sure you have some sort of access to your trident killer that way you can go in there and switch out the tridents whenever a new player wants to use it or just have one dedicated person

That just purely uses the farm all the time that way they can get drops for everyone else and let’s hop into the tutorial shall we for your convenience there’s gonna be a full materials listed down in the description of the video that way you know exactly what you need

To build this trident killer you’re gonna need a four wide by four deep area and this is going to be four blocks tall as well make sure you leave room for your water stream to deliver items and experience it to wherever you afk and of course your storage system if you’re

Gonna be using your trident killer for spiders ravangers or just mobs in general that really like to glitch through blocks then you will want to have an additional ring of blocks all the way around the trident killer so you need a six by six area for example

Ravangers and magma cubes and all those guys they can glitch through like three or four blocks so make sure you really put an extra layer of blocks we’re going to get started with a 2×2 of a packed ice in the middle of our build area you

Can use blue ice if you want to and this just helps our experience and drops escape the kill chamber and go into the water stream go ahead and surround that with solid blocks but leave this block out right here as that’s where all of your items will be going into your water

Stream we now want to install four pistons in each of these locations right here solid blocks between all of those of course and then we’re going to go ahead and put the observers in so observer right there observer and this location observer right there as well an observer right there basically the butts

Of the observer should be right above all the pistons and then of course you want a solid block above each of the pistons as well you now want to go ahead and place a dropper right here this is just going to help keep your mobs in

Because it’s a full block and also it conducts the signal from the observer this is where the location of our on and off switch is going to be going as well so just place a lever right there we now want a repeater right here on two ticks

Another repeater right here on two ticks and then a repeater right here on one tick as well we need all these timings to be rather precise that way all the experience and drops can escape the kill chamber and go into our water stream we now want to go ahead and put in

Ourselves a trap door right here right below that observer and that is going to keep all the baby zombies inside of your farm to start your water stream all you want to do is place in some packed ice or blue ice right here in this area and

This is going to go off in whatever direction you want your item and experience to go i’m going to make this go straight by a couple blocks and then of course you want to give this some walls as well that way your water doesn’t flood everywhere put in yourself

A water source right beneath that trap a door and that is your water stream installed of course now we need to go on the inside of the build and finally install our water for this build so place in yourself a stair right there water log that and then we’re going to

Water log this piston as well be aware that that’s going to cause the water to spill out the back side so you want yourself a block right there to hold that in click on the piston with a water bucket and now that is waterlogged as well having both of these waterlogged is

Going to help keep this area very wet that way everything dies with the impaling effect and all of your items go into your water stream of course now is a great time to surround the entire rest of the build in solid blocks in case you’re dealing with mobs that really

Like to glitch out or if you’re just having issues with them escaping in general and now you want to cover up all of the redstone of a layer of a solid blocks again to keep things inside of your trident killer and keep them from escaping and now you want to build up

The drop shoot above your trident killer to actually guide mobs into your build connecting this up to the rest of your mob farm is going to be a varying process depending on what type of farm you’re building and how it is a bill to sell connecting it up is going to be

Kind of up to you for the most part though you’ll likely just have water streams pushing your mobs directly into the trident killer they’ll fall down and then they will die and then that’ll be just about it to activate the farm all you need to do is grab yourself with

Some tridents ideally you will use an impaling of five trident if you can’t afford that or if you don’t have one at the moment just a plain old regular trident will work fine i’m gonna throw in an appealing one though and then of course we can unflick the lever and that

Will activate our build as you can see this is going to push around the trident it’s going to stay very watery and wet in there and that’s basically exactly what you want if we spawn in some mobs real quick to test this out as you can see they’re gonna get decimated by the

Trident now keep in mind some of your items and some of your experience may circle around a couple of times before it actually escapes the build what it needs to do is get enough momentum to actually go underneath that trapdoor but eventually everything will get outside

Of your trident killer and go into your water streams as you can see from the last batch of skeletons of course whenever you turn off the build that is going to flush everything out as well so you never need to worry about losing items or experience from your farm if
