What’s going on everyone my name is impulse and today I’ve got a tutorial for you this behind me here is an automatic potion brewing system that will refill itself to make sure that you’ve always got a double chest of the potion you need can do up to four Ingredients and is very very tiny fits into a very tiny space here it’s three by five by seven and yeah not too big at all and super easy to build so the way it works basically is we have ingredients being loaded thanks to some timings a back here and it will continue To do so until the chest gets full and starts to back up into this hopper which will shut the whole system down and you can see right now there’s nothing being brewed as soon as I take a few potions out of the system it will start to brew All again on its own and you can store a whole bunch of water bottles in here to keep the system going you can store a whole bunch of ingredients in here and you can access the brewing stand to put in the blaze powder and keep it going as Well so a very nice design it is also tie label so you can put these next to each other which is awesome and you can have a whole bunch of different types of potions throughout your base so here you see I have slow falling I’ve got fire Resistance and I’ve got speed and like I said you can do up to four ingredients and if you only need three then you only need to put in three and it will work just as well all right so you’re probably wondering how to build this yourself in your own world and if you’d Like there’s a world download in the description just hit a link for that it’ll download the world save and you can pull that up on your own or you can follow along here we’ll do a tutorial here’s the ingredients or the materials that you’re gonna need to Build this thing out and you can see it doesn’t take a whole lot so let’s just go ahead and grab all these in my inventory now and we will get started on a block-by-block tutorial so starting off you want to have your 3 by 5 area That you plan on building this in you’re gonna put down a double chest this is gonna be where the potions end up come around to the back put down a hopper into the chest and then another hopper going in to that then you’re gonna want To put a brewing stand on top of that we’re gonna need to put down a temporary block right here and then build up a stack of droppers just like so then you can take out that temporary block at the bottom then we’re gonna also put a hopper into the side of the brewing Stand you need to hold shift and click to do that otherwise you will access the brewing stand and the same thing with all these hoppers going to stack up on top so four hoppers on top of the brewing stand all facing down and being right in front of these droppers right There alright then we’re gonna need some blocks these can be any blocks of your choice it’s up to you whatever you feel looks good we’re gonna put one right behind the brewing stand another one behind that and another one down just like that and then one right there we’re Gonna sneak in a repeater right there just leave the timings be there good as they are and then we’re gonna put a comparator facing out of that hopper right there and then some redstone dust down the side right there now we’re gonna put a block right there and we’re Gonna put some dust on top of that and one on the side of that and then a torch right on the side of that block and what that will end up doing is locking that hopper which is gonna feed in the water bottles so if we want to store more water bottles I suggest put a double chest right there and we’ll keep the water bottles in there you could even build this up higher if you wanted to do something like this if you really wanted more water bottle storage it’s up to you if you want to do something like that of Course you can and then also we’re gonna need to make sure we have our automatic shutoff switch so that as this gets full it stops building or making potions so let’s go ahead and grab this we have a comparator coming out from behind this hopper going into the chest and as soon As the chest is full it’s gonna get a signal because things are gonna start backing up into this hopper and we’re gonna read that signal with an observer facing up here so it’s observing right there that comparator and then coming off of that we’re gonna have a sticky Piston which is going to raise up another observer to give a signal to the droppers and that is going to tell the system to keep on brewing or to stop brewing basically so we’re gonna put a half slab right there does need to be a half slab otherwise you’re going to end Up locking hoppers and you don’t want to do that on top of that we’re gonna put a repeater go ahead and leave it on its default timings again grab your solid blocks we’re gonna feed that signal into a solid block there and leave a gap put one underneath redstone dust on top of Those and that is pretty much it for all the Redstone involved now we need to prime the system so now you need to decide what it is you’re gonna brew and understand how to make that potion in this case I’m gonna go ahead and make a Splash potion of healing to and when I need to make that work is some nether wart to make the awkward potion glistering melon to make the potion of healing glowstone I’m gonna extend it to a level two and then the Gunpowder to make it a splash potion we’re also going To need a few blocks or named items to make sure that we set an item filter in the back and also one thing I forgot is that we’re gonna need some blaze powder to make sure that the brewing stand has some fuel for it so let’s go ahead and Put that blaze powder in the brewing stand it is gonna last quite a long time if you put a full stack in there but we have access to see the brewing stand and make sure that it’s fully capable of continuing to brew all so we’re gonna go Ahead and just put one nether wart in the brewing stand just to kind of prime this system here then we’re gonna also want to make sure we’ve got all of our water bottles in place so make sure you’re doing it regular water bottles not any other kind of potions and Awkward potions or anything that looks like a water bottle just be careful of that so we’ll go ahead and fill this up with all water bottles just to make sure the system’s gonna make it all the way through at least enough to fill up this double chest and then shut itself down So now we can start to do the ingredients and the order of ingredients is actually very important here so kind of going through the order of operations it would take to make a potion nether wart to make the awkward like I said the main ingredient and then any modifiers Afterwards is what you want to do so on the bottom dropper here we’re gonna put in the main ingredient and it’s important that you do the main ingredient on the very bottom dropper and then you can start to put in your modifier so if we do glowstone dust that Can go here then we can do the gunpowder and the final dropper the very top one is where you want to put your nether wards if you don’t have three or two modifiers you can put the nutter another word in this dropper right here instead and Leave this one empty and it will still work just the same finally the very last thing we need to do is set this item filter up right back here and it needs to have exactly this amount of items to put in one two three and those right Spots there and fill this up to exactly 19 you want to make sure you don’t go over otherwise the system’s gonna start all on its own and you don’t want to do that just yet you want to make sure that you got everything in place everything we’re gonna double check Everything’s filled up we’ve got our brewing stand ready to go with one nether wart it’s got the blaze powder in it and at this point we are ready to turn this thing on and it’s actually kind of cool how we’re gonna do that we are going to and it looks like I’m Missing my comparator we’re gonna place down this comparator right here and if you’ve already got the comparator place because you followed the tutorial I’ll just need to do is just right click on it it will activate the comparator doesn’t make a difference in this case if it’s activated or not but that will Kick the system off and as long as this observer is up here it should be good to go so as it’s brewing you want to make sure that that observer is up there and that will continue at the system every time it brews up a full set of potions And it will start all over again so we can sit here and watch this go all right this potion is finishing up and we should see a new set of potions come in right now you see the nether work going kind of here some Pistons going and that is telling the whole System it is time to continue brewing because we don’t have this chest filled up completely so I’m gonna go ahead and just do that so we can demonstrate what happens once the system is completely full and you’ll see that it is going to basically stop itself so it doesn’t Overfill itself and then anytime you take potions out it’s gonna get triggered to replenish itself which is probably the best part of this whole thing okay so this set is finishing up and these are gonna drain into the hopper and at this point the hopper has inventory in it and that comparator is Gonna trigger and it shuts down the system no more potions are now being brewed you can see the comparator is getting that signal there we have potions in here and as soon as we start to take some out it is going to turn that comparator off and that’s gonna Send the signal for the system to start up again so pretty cool to know that you will always have a double chest of your favorite potion just hanging out around your vase and you can have all the different potions you can make a whole wall of these maybe a couple walls of All the different potions if you want just put these things side-by-side and yeah there you go so that’s it like I said it’s pretty easy to do it doesn’t take a lot of materials and a pretty reliable system here so that’s gonna do it for the tutorial hopefully
