spent years and years and years not being invited to them and being overlooked uh for other you know other streamers and stuff and i probably swore to you guys not Only you guys but to myself that in 2021 i was gonna be in twitch rivals as many times as possible and this is uh third time by the way and also um you know i just thought maybe it’ll be fun and uh it turns out it probably won’t be but we’ll We’ll see if i win you’ll donate a hundred a hundred what a hundred vietnamese dong i hear it’s strong these days apparently bill gates loves massive sex parties i mean who doesn’t you can’t blame you can’t you can’t blame um a guy for loving massive sex parties I mean at least he had like probably got invited to some and had enough money to maybe even host his own i don’t i can’t do either i’ve never been invited to a massive sex party and i don’t have enough money to host my own and i don’t know enough people who Would be up for taking part in one of those you know i might as well just be friends with a bunch of nuns like i don’t know anybody who’s in any of that stuff watch twitch rivals is it good captains end up actually constructing a team jump Uh so are they gonna go for that familiarity for that ability to communicate between their team potentially a little bit stronger or are you gonna look towards some of the more experienced pvpers in minecraft is it gonna be teamwork or mechanics that triumphs on the day i’m not entirely sure I think we’ll start to see how effective each of those strategies is going to be at the start of the day we’ll have to wait and see what each of our eight captains goes for yeah interesting i’m very much looking forward to see how the construction is going veracity How would you construct your team a hundred percent always go for the positive vibes if there’s anything i have learned from my many years as an admin working in esports it’s that you want the good vibes there you want to have fun when you’re playing with your teammates so Go for the good fight that’s why they should pick me first yeah actually the vibes put together the vibes and hope you come out on top well it’s time to kind of explain the game there are classes we have to talk about it is a team deathmatch in a five versus five But here is how the classes end up throwing down the archer is designed to deal as much range damage as possible while taking less of it in return the swordsman that’s that then the healer focused on healing and has strong armor but blacks in the weapon department And last but not least a little bit of a control class for this one flame master will deal damage through fire while its armor and weapons are a bit weaker so this is what they have to pick from and the teams could be made up of any raid healers combination However this is a creator tournament if there’s anything i know about creative tournaments there’s a fast uh skill gap between a lot of these players this is the they called me out skill guest built for the uk all the time you know what it doesn’t Matter i want to go have my team in this game i’m hungry team captain what’s my strategy i think that uh somebody’s gonna get in there i’m just gonna hear his punk you see oh they’re they’re doing it they’re drafting already roasted james has drafted martin i’m gonna be last pick for sure [Laughter] oh no yeah it seems like they know who changed me and in a good way So i was in smp with becky for a little while okay um but that unfortunately is all i know i don’t know if she’s particularly amazing at pvp or anything beyond that really unfortunately well one person in my chat said i’m pretty sure you got i think you Got this so that’s enough for me we’ve definitely got this i didn’t think uh we that i was very good at pvp but after the last two games i feel like a god so uh yeah i don’t fully understand this but i’m looking at the prize right now it says group stage 350 Per our match win so do we just make seven hundred dollars yeah between us let’s go yeah it’s a lot of cocaine guys that’s a lot of cocaine isn’t it like something after this as well right like the top two teams from the uk going to like a bigger tournament later on versus All the other countries that’s got to get really sweaty right like after you get i mean i would say most of the like strong pvpers that i would know from like the minecraft community are from like spain france yeah not from the uk from the uk Of pvp as sadly like a quarter of the people in the uk one are from the ogs cast which are not not really known for um you know game game prowess if we’re top two even if we lose that game we’re at the top two teams so we play in the Expanded one whenever that is okay maybe controversial but i mean 700 bucks pretty good let’s let’s throw the rest of our games get out of here early get some dinner and stuff 700 bucks right not bad and then we don’t have to play against the sweats from like France and stuff even if we lose we get 150 bucks but there you go there you go we saw team cpk uh pull together there all in the same direction as well and really sort of not have any weak links within that roster within that lineup as well so A real great uh great start to their tournament a couple of hits going through going to be found there this guy is a machine i mean i i spoke about him like it was a bit of a boomer at the start of the broadcast but he is on fire right now He’s the rock of team cpk in this situation leading by example a fantastic uh like i was about to say the least certainly a great minecraft player prolific as punk himself is uh cowering in a corner there you go there you go it sounded like a little bit like alan partridge Back of the net matters i’ll take that damage most people call me enormously necessary and you have the little wood trying to sneak those arrows underneath the back and martin are on the same team oh [ __ ] i think they’ll probably win actually looking for those this game but now when placed in a position you have to engage in those fights run for your there’s no way we gotta do this again oh no wait that’s not tonight though right for real because i like i have to go eat I’ll die that kind of throne my teammates a lot of it was martin as well i think he’s on this side maybe in the woods there’s a lot of group decisions on the one main thing that we did was we stayed together as a unit i noticed that in the earlier games i Was splicing off quite a lot and even spectating that the cpk team earlier on in the evening yeah we noticed that sips had a habit of doing that as well so we decided that that was something to keep an eye out oh i’m [ __ ] sure listen to this [ __ ] nerd the whole Team just pounces i believe actually i heard you call uh i think it was you we actually heard the comments we’ll say apple up and go yeah you know martin could do a hot tub stream uh and powered by although it could just be all of the sweat He sits in the tub it’s empty when he starts and then at the end when he’s won his minecraft pvp tournament it’s filled with water it’s his sweat to be absolutely honest i kind of just played swordsman the whole time of going into that menu to heal people he was really really good And then between bree and like specifically and also i just want to say i appreciate the invite a whole lot um i had so much fun playing and not just because i won it was genuinely a fun event uh yeah i would have had a lot of fun if i’d won as well Everyone else who played with me the funniest thing about our team composition tonight is that i was a complete accident whilst james was like discussing like oh should i pick this person from this person talking with his chat he accidentally clicks me i go into his chat room and i Was like hey nice to meet you captain he was like i’ll be honest dude i didn’t mean to pick you up it was like the best mistake we could have made accidents accidentally stacked it sounds like the start of my casting career but what a final and what a tournament we have Had ladies and gentlemen [ __ ] it has been fantastic the entire way appreciate it presley uh able to take home that gold medal as
