Happened when i was very distracted it happened in the middle of last episode while the map was open tobin our netherminer somehow died while in the nether and i went back to our graveyard to see if i could find his grave to you know pay my respects and no when another

Miner dies in the nether he doesn’t make a grave oh man and that was terrible news but to add insult to injury as i was recording the flyover ginger the rat died she got pricked by a cactus of all things and you know what that’s that’s really really crazy because she’s been

Down in the most dangerous of places and of all things it was a cactus the goddam what the hell so bash one out four ginger the rats oh my god oh my god oh man what a nightmare yeah so two deaths on the colony the never minder

And the builder oh man well let’s go and replace these dudes asap ginger will be missed for a long time oh my god she was such an amazing builder now you guys have also said that you know what maybe i should be turning on children in the

Uh town hall and i think for the time being that’s a very good idea because we are losing colonists left right and center look at this we’ve got space now for another seven dudes let’s get him in yeah look here we go here is the death sheet so citizen was pricked to death

Yeah that was ginger the rat so here we go children will be born and we’ll leave that on for a while see how things go if it gets uncontrollable we can of course turn it off now i keep getting the message saying the warehouse is full you have to upgrade it or make

Another one and look at these guys yeah they’ve got nothing to do because the warehouse is full but it is very good to periodically just clear this out and get rid of some of the chaff that builds up so let’s go and survey the scene of the crime

Build the quarry to dig this out and we’ve kind of left her alone for a long long oh my god oh my god whoa look at this bad mother trucker she has made a load of space oh i can see it now so what i envisioned from this space is a massive

Cavern like 10 times the size of any of the ones we’ve got so far and down here we can put a whole bunch of extra amenities i’m thinking houses i’m thinking a warehouse i’m thinking loads of couriers and whatever else we desperately need oh lovely anyway yeah oh well ginger

So things here on the colony have broken the sound barrier boom did you hear that that was a sonic boom the sonic boom of us going to level four and what that means is we can get some of our buildings to level four the most important building to get to level four

Is of course the university so build options and let’s take a look oh yeah all pretty good stuff nothing too crazy a brown banner and a loom whoa two looms what the hell so let’s get nuki our new favorite builder on in charge of this

Boom level four crazy ah so it has to be the new cure alyssa anyway because those two guys are the only guys with level four huts gingers was still level three now there’s a kind of irony in that because ginger’s builder’s hut was a cave style builders hut and those build styles are

Actually really really really easy to get to level four what do i mean by that well i’ll show you right after we have recruited our new top builder so let’s take a look and see who’s cheap as we in the platypus enchanted books are a bit expensive any old thing trucker oh sunflowers

Ginger’s hut and get recruiting sutan bhutan and recruitin here we go so uh right oh my god it feels so empty in here now i was saying before the the huts that are cave style are so simple to upgrade because check it out build options

And to get to level three all we need is nether bricks a birch door jungle slab rack torch birch planks and jungle stairs that’s crazy you know that’s really really really crazy but we are gonna have to hire somebody so who’s it gonna be athletics and adaptability but a high intelligence

Will mean they’ll level up quicker yeah you know what i think it’s gonna be any old thing grumpy has 30 intelligence 25 adaptability 12 athletics a no-brainer boom get in the colony oh and alyssa has started work upgrading this so not only this building getting

To level 4 is going to be easy check it out over here so we’ve also got these buildings which are houses and i think delivery huts yeah career hurts so korea’s at level three build options to upgrade it to level four look at this 16 nether bricks and two birch doors that’s

Insanely cheap so we’re definitely gonna get that done now what about the houses these are a bit trickier because these go actually up quite high and i’m wondering if level 4 is going to dig up into the levels above the cave but we can find out build options and again it’s very cheap

It does need chisel quartz block and it does need nether bricks so you do have to have been to the nether but if you’ve been to the nether they’re very cheap upgrades and bada bing bada boom cave style coming at you all of these buildings now are queued up to be level

Four and once these buildings are level four that’s going to be amazing because curry is a level four they go quicker they can hold more stuff it’s gonna speed everything up now it’s time to hit the industrial district and what we’re gonna do is recruit a minor and another minor two

More roles that we desperately need here on the colony also actually this mine is only level one so this is like a really scrubbed level mine we’ll have to get this upgraded to level two three and then hopefully four and the deadly role of never mind now

I’m thinking for the nether minor what we should do is recruit the cheapest trash possible because this job is is one way you’ll die quick right so manage workers we’re looking for adaptability and strength but we’re also looking for really bad colonists and looking at his stats fugal the ugly

Is also fugle the trash so we’ll put him in this role good old dispensable foogle oh it’s late that’s why these guys were leaving so let’s have a sleep but a bing bada boom and it’s actually good that we slept because ginger died which means none of those guys were working yesterday

So the next step is to go to the warehouse and make sure that we’ve got all of the things we need for those cave building skillets level four now there was a big requirement of birch doors so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna look in here we’re gonna search for birch

And what’s going on here so we’ve got two doors in here already but we can quicken the job by getting some logs ourselves and making a whole bunch of doors Next up jungle slab nether bricks and racks the jungle slabs uh they might not get made because we didn’t really teach many of like the jungle recipes to our carpenter Nether bricks are going to be a big ask any old thing is oh any old thing is doing the quarry okay so she’s taken over from ginger and nuki is on harvard university itself so there’s a few things here that i’m not sure we’re going to be able to uh

To make on the colony armor stands the carpenter needs to know how to make armor stands oh my god we go so slow i’m gonna have to make a point of finding some more boots oh look at this so when we rebuilt the uh builders hut up another level

It looks like uh we filled in this tunnel with some dirt and we’ve also dug into the building itself so i’m gonna have to redesign i think this subway section uh a little bit later yeah man my boots i miss my boots oh my god i miss them

Like i miss well like i miss something else that i miss i don’t know what i miss though these days so one of the huge things that we’re going to need for these builds is lots and lots of nether bricks mostly for the cave buildings it’s not going to really

Be a big thing for the above ground builds but we can definitely help out with that certainly while our never minder keeps dying so we’re going to zip into the nether and gather up a whole bunch of netherrack maybe like about five or six stacks what are you waiting

For food also also foogle is white now and blonde that’s a bit weird what has he got on his person k fruits duck eggs the bane of our existence he didn’t have enough time to sleep the last three days oh he needs a flint and

Steep wait what do you mean you need a feeling still it’s open foogle your damn fool and so to keep him prepared we’re going to put a bunch of flinton steels in here in his building rack and he should be able to get going as soon as he works up

The courage to jump through to the nether so yeah you guys have been saying that the nether miner dies all the time and basically you can’t really help it the only thing that stops him from dying is his level but the problem is if we put the best dudes as another minor he’s

Still gonna die quite frequently and it’s still gonna suck it’s not like an actual thing that kills him it’s just a loose chance every time he goes to nether but you know what he won’t come back do you mind that’s right get out of here go on beat it

Now let’s put a piece of golden armor on so that we don’t attract the ire of these rude dudes gold and uh do we have a helmet was a helmet we used last time we could use boots yeah we use a helmet why not oh hello don’t mind me

There we go i look much friendlier now a lot less like loki now also another thing i remembered is that we can actually trade with these guys if we have some golden bars and you know what i’ve got loads of those oh hey nether quartz or you guys were

Right actually digging this up is great experience hey so i was also looking at like this weird uh guide for better minecraft and it said that there was a place where you could deposit your xp and this place was called i think like an xp tome so let’s take a look

Xp and here we go look at this xp tone sneak and right click to store as much xp as possible and right click to retrieve all of it and that’s going to be really good for us saving up levels oh my god explosion.player what but that’s not possible nothing can

Explode in the colony what the wait a minute oh no a creeper oh my god oh oh i fell Oh zalios no what’s going on we got it we gotta get back we gotta get back to base so where is this happening let’s look at the map i don’t see any creepers on here oh wait yes i do this whole area has become monster city we’ve lost zalias now and couple sinker

Butt sniffer so we’re gonna go over there and clean out the trash in fact what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna bring the guards come on dudes let’s do it rally to me 20 guards let’s kick some ass oh now we have to be careful because

Creepers are going to oh my god there’s some enchanted creepers as well creepers are going to blow us up sky-high if we’re not careful get some arrows so we’ll try and take out the creepers and let the guards take on the other dudes oh my god what’s killing me a freaking spider

Oh my god oh my god these guys are more dangerous than a raid abba look at this these knights are leveling up from killing these monsters much more than they were for killing barbarians this is good stuff gotta be careful though because those creepers could just destroy oh my god a witch a

Witch get the witch kill the witch it’s mighty granger get her eat lead mudblood man look at those three cowards over there so it does seem to me that this is a very weak point in the colony we’re lucky that the grave keeper is still alive oh who’s this what’s this it’s a

Graveyard well we need to sleep so it’s daytime and then the grave keeper should come over and collect this grave yeah so it seems like my citizens are fine because at night time they go home but the guards are still out on patrol and they have to deal with all these monsters

That are spawning and bad news for them they get destroyed by them so what can we do i think it’s time to just light this area up with torches right uh yeah and looks like it was tope what’s this you’re oh look at this the undertaker has resurrected somebody from beyond the

Grave zalios rises again to once again serve our colony as a knight and die horribly in battle oh my god it’s like the stormlight archive so we’ll put the netherrack that we got into the computer and it’s a good start it’s not what we need but it’s it’s a

Great place to get started with now yeah this is going to be very messy it’s highlighted the need for me to have a proper border on the colony so next episode is going to be dedicated to building the walls of the colony but for the time being we can put down

These torches and it should fingers crossed keep things protected here on the colony now it’s not going to be flawless we’re still going to get monsters that do somehow creep out of the forest but monsters aren’t really a problem the problem really comes when we have hordes

Of monsters that my knights can’t deal with and that’s definitely what’s happening over here on the edge of the colony one or two zombies they’re no sweat my guys are in full iron armor with iron blades hardened seasoned warriors they fought against the amazon tribes of tobockney the barbarian hordes of kazok door

Honestly i made those places up but my point remains these guys are freaking amazing there ain’t no zombies skeletons creepers or spiders that are going to take these guys to school oh my god this looks so ugly i feel like freaking lewis brindley over here but you know what these torches are

A must oh you know what a big problem is the fact that the only people on the colony that know how to make torches are the builders but of course the builders are all building stuff so they can’t make torches what i really should do is maybe teach them another minor how to

Make torches although you can’t you know what i’ll make some torches myself and put them in the computer so yeah you guys have said i’m really bad at minecraft you know what you’re absolutely correct so what we need to do is make this xp tome now to maybe find a

Way for me to stop losing all my xp when i die oh a mechanic can make one or i can make one myself with a book and some ender pearls i must have oh yeah loads of ender pearls not as many as i thought and a book not as many as i thought

But a boom but a bing and i should have made this years ago why didn’t you guys say anything jk it’s my fault i didn’t realize so how does this work xp tome right click all right shift and right click oh my god 14 levels all the way into

This xp tone i just have to remember to store this whenever i can so nether bricks how do we get nether bricks into the hands of our builder what’s the process let’s go over to the stonemason and find out so another brick a simple recipe who crafts it well of course the stonemason

Turns nether bricks into nether bricks well the loose ones into the blocks how do we make nether bricks of course the stone smelter turns netherrack into nether bricks so do we have a stone smelter and does he know how to turn netherrack into bricks i would have

Thought so but maybe levana got mixed up somewhere yeah look at this i don’t see it on this recipe list at all no wait she’s got it so what’s the problem well then i don’t know what’s going on maybe the uh the couriers are just being slow because they’ve got a

Lot to do what the hell is this it’s two face with my face is that my face i mean that is two faces uh skin right you know the whole like batman forever thing why are we getting so many exotic colonists recently toby carnegie rudow well hang around

Sleeping on the path it makes these ugly little dirt patches mischief managed so here we go we’ve got three more spots for citizens and it looks like every single job has all except enchanter that’s right because we were holding on to our tomes but we never did actually refill that enchanter

So i reckon we’re going to go and hire an enchanter the last enchanter i believe was oh who was it like tilly sunsor i think but she also died after we made her a knight so we’re going to go and find the ancient tomes find the ancient homes of knowledge in

The temple of forbidden trolls where where was it i told it to reveal it to me and then it didn’t oh here it is wait it’s here what oh my god this thing has an inventory too i had no idea that’s crazy oh and there’s a mega torch oh i think uh maybe

Ginger dug that up and so why are we removing the ancient tomes that’s because we want to put the ancient terms in our own personal computer because that way the enchanter won’t accidentally use them and waste them because we need to save them for research later on that’s

The reason why we took her out originally where is it where’s the blog there’s the blog hello so manage workers who do we think is the best person for the job These are our current students some of them are pretty good they’re all high intelligence oh it looks like kendrick jensen could be the one we want he’s got good intelligence good manner and good knowledge yeah we’ll get him boom get over here oh my god that’s quite the uh quote the

We got loads of netherrack to turn into nether bricks so where is elissa what’s going on why is she not getting what she needs Yeah you know what i just don’t get it maybe there’s too much in her inventory so let’s go and check out her racks No this all looks nice and neat and honestly kind of empty which is what we’re going for right some netherrack in here that she probably won’t need I’m not strong enough oh hey uh so it looks like this has fixed it somehow she’s now asked for the nether rank so 300 and whoa 384 netherrack to the stone smelter oh wait i know why it’s because we didn’t have enough netherrack i think that you need enough netherrack or

Whatever it is to complete the whole request before it even begins so it looks like another miner has been hard at work gathering the netherrack and when he finally had enough on top of the three stacks that we got ourselves she could kick it into action but oh man

Took quite some time eh ah now time to gather up some sugar cane so you guys have said that the sugar cane growing quicker on sand thing is a myth and you know what i i know it’s a myth and then i forget that it’s a myth and then every now and again

Someone says it in the comments section and for some crazy reason i believe you guys you guys who are out to troll me at the best of times i believe you but what if you did say that in this mod pack there’s something called snad it’s like sand but misspelt snad

Now another thing i was gonna do and the whole reason why i’m wearing a golden helmet of course and why i’ve got gold in my pack is i want to trade with some piglets to see what i could get here in the uh oh rude dude with attitude stay away from him

Oh it’s night time she’s going home oh okay yeah that makes much more sense oh look at this it looks like any old thing has almost completed the sifter as well that’s really good news she’s at least got everything she needs so how’s nikki doing with harvard what do you need chief

So while alyssa is waiting for these nether bricks what we’re going to do is go back into the nether to find another thing that nuki needs for his build and if we scroll all the way down well almost here it is it’s a wither skeleton skull

This is not going to be easy to find but it’s going to be worth finding for sure now like i said beyond level 3 you start to get some really weird building requirements and sometimes pretty tough to get and i would rate a wither skeleton skull aha another duck

I would rate another wither skeleton skull as being pretty hard to get you know oh look at this gaggle of fools that’s right wait a wither skeleton baby didn’t even know they could have babies let’s take these guys out wow two shot now can you get a wither skeleton head

From shooting somebody with a bow you know what i don’t actually know one thing’s for sure though oh oh my god oh that’s crazy oh my god yeah spooky scary skeleton the easiest wither skull i’ve ever found in my life well let’s keep going there might be

Some cool other stuff here and oh yeah look at this a chest don’t mind if i do oh yeah oh my god look at this the mother lode an ancient tome plus one looting max 4 sacred scroll of regeneration from mine colonies an aether dragon egg of course

Oh power three and pig step not bad not bad we’ve got what we came here for the wither skeleton skull actually no while i’m here i’m gonna see if i can find some blazers because we do need to take some blaze rods home it shows us that yeah there’s some

Blazes very very close let’s go check them out and once again bows are the wise man’s choice here although i’ve only got 16 arrows so i’m going to be very careful oh my god one shot him oh my god these oh yes my first blaze stick wait what’s this oh no poisonous mushroom

So we arrive home uh and yeah now there is one order of business before we stop this episode and that is to do the new building so i do think we’ve done the research now for the alchemist building so if we can create one that will be the

Final building that we need to do on the colony so here we go alchemists tower oh a brewing stand now yeah it’s very lucky that we got the blaze rod from before because now we can use that to make the brewing stand boom and we can use that to make the

Alchemists tower bam and let’s go pick a spot so where can we put the alchemists tower well first up how big is this thing alchemist oh no so i thought another mine only had one building style the alchemist only has the wooden building style but it’s not a huge building in fact

It’s actually kind of tiny level one two three four five ah now this is an actual tower this is what i’m talking about now where are we gonna put this bad boy we could put it over here actually next to the wall um but do we have space anywhere else in

A more convenient location aha well you know what this is something i was thinking about earlier but what about this patch of land right behind the windmill yeah yeah yeah right here i mean this honestly looks like it’s kind of the perfect size no it’s a bit of a no-go here so what

We’re gonna do instead is park it next to the bakery oh yeah tickle me pink this looks fantastic all the way up to level five oh my god yeah this is the perfect spot now we are gonna have to get rid of this tree but i think let’s press the trigger

And off we go so task number one getting rid of this big old red tree and it feels kind of cruel doing this to any old thing because i think i could take out this tree in one hit but i kind of like watching it get chopped down so we’re

Gonna watch now the alchemist is probably one of the highest level buildings in the colony because it’s one that requires level three research but also some very exotic materials to make in fact i think it might be the only building apart from maybe the nether miner that actually requires lots of

Materials from the nether even at level one either way it’s a shame there’s only one style at the moment wooden but it’s still a simple style that kind of fits with the aesthetic above colony so we’ll keep it well okay and honestly it’s really anticlimactic because this is kind of probably gonna be

The last unique building we do on the colony and it looks just so freaking ugly oh my god but you know what it is what it is what can we do let’s go and see what it looks like inside and what can we do in here okay so we’ve got a

Brewing stand with zero fuel fair enough uh yeah so here we go main brewing recipes and tasks oh okay so you have to teach the alchemists tower different brewing recipes oh no does that mean we have to source the ingredients ourselves as well well let’s start with something very

Very simple splash potion of poison you need oh a spider’s eye or a jellyfish or gunpowder to make this bad boy so yeah you know what i’m not really sold on the usefulness of the alchemists tower i think once we start having bigger battles where we really do need

Big splash potions to really influence the change of the flow of battle maybe big potions of splash healing could really turn things around for us when the horde attacks but i do still want to hire a worker here anyway to see what they look like So they need dexterity and mana and it looks like it’s gonna be hmm well they’re all pretty weak picks but levana the platypus is the best of the bunch so get her over here oh whoa oh my god yeah you can definitely tell that some of the

Later mine columnist npcs look a lot more impressive than well some of the early ones like uh didn’t want to say anything uh build a man but uh yeah like you oh my god so alyssa has finally gotten over her bug where she wasn’t getting any nether

Bricks oh my god maybe it just took the stone smelter that long to smelt the bricks so our builders are gonna storm through that cave and get as many of those builds up to level four as possible and next episode i can show you what they’ve achieved thank you for watching this
