Sjin – Modded Minecraft: All The Mods 8 – FAST EASY EARLY QUESTS #6

Foreign hello and welcome back to all the mods 8 last episode we moved a bunch of our stuff into the base got our computer powered up upgraded and connected up some storage drawers we also discovered tree tabs and cleared out our farm a bit and put down a market

Now we’re going to give the base a big overhaul but before we do what we’re gonna do this episode is have a quest Bonanza we’re going to go through the all the mods Quest book and complete as many as we can so let’s go oh now this

Gets me to thinking actually maybe we can make this a bit of a race oh no but if it’s a race I haven’t prepared for it I’ve done no working out but all I’ve done is eat uh KFC anyway yeah so let’s hit the quest book and see how many of

These bad boys we can get done we’re on the uh basic storage one at the moment refined storage and we’re gonna go from getting started onwards now first up what’s the bounty board bouncyboard kill oh right so these are quests you get for killing a lot of a

Certain thing boom five skellies that’s one quest in the bag so there’s some pretty tasty rewards here if you want to kill some dudes also it looks like down here it’s got the major big bosses of the mod pack like a Wither and Ender Dragon an Elder Guardian wait kill the

Trader villager and his annoying llamas I did that didn’t I oh maybe I didn’t so yeah we’re gonna skip straight to getting started and power through this basically this is the first thing you should really do once you start the game we just kind of haven’t done that we’ve skipped forwards

So the first thing we’re going to do is well we’ve done that Quest let’s do getting wood we’ve done this yeah there we go we’ve done getting wood so next Quest is gonna be what’s this make a wooden pickaxe and a crafting table boom slam it boom and a crafting table

There we go Quest destroyed man I need a sound effect every time I do a quest in fact what I’m gonna do is pick one out now and then go back and put it back in So boom Quest destroyed Stone Age gets some Cobblestone and make some stone tools no sweat now what

Happens with Cobblestone lying around one of these a couple of these and yeah let’s just storm through all of these quests so there we go all we need now is a stone shovel I thought I made a stone shovel did I not but a boom Quest destroy Droid and let’s

Get some of these Rewards boom and the rewards are torches and XP okay and this is where things kind of split we can go down building materials which is great for building a base and getting the base set up or we can go down storage oh well we go a bit down

Storage first boom a chest let’s make a chest boom Quest how am I only just completing the make a chest Quest that’s crazy I thought I made one of those Quest destroyed so that brings it to one two three four I think five quests now

I’ll tell you what I’m gonna put a tally down the bottom that keeps track of how many quests I’ve made backpack oh I made one of these what the hell why have I not got oh Rex hadn’t unlocked the quests yet do I have to make another

Backpack oh that ain’t cool I don’t want to waste the leather well you know what take mine off and then put it in my pack is that gonna work if I throw it down no oh no wait tuppies died oh no tuppy oh I didn’t even see that when did that

Happen ah riponi and pepperoni my friend but it’s sunlight now so luckily enough oh no wait so we got a problem with the crafting grid and that is the fact that it takes a bit too much power now compared to how much we make I’m sorry

Bro oh well you died like you lived um well you didn’t really you never had a job you never had anything to say oh I feel so sorry for these colonists oh man I need to keep on top of sleeping before it gets too dark so for now we’re going to disconnect

Those chests because we need a little bit more power anyway let’s keep on with the quest storm so we’re gonna need to make another backpack oh this is why it’s really good to do these quests from the get-go and not delay now luckily enough I can boom backpack

Quest unlocked and I get a massive upgrade base and 10 XP woohoo so from here we can either go to storage chapter where we uh I guess pick a kind of storage that’s a quest as well boom I’m counting it foreign but since we’ve already kind of started with that we’re gonna wait

Oh there’s the stake man I didn’t even complete that boom Quest destroyed so one two three four five six seven so here we go building materials ah so I want you to make a few of the basics for building a base any sand glass gravel planks I got some of these things

Here’s some gravel we’ve got some glass in the computer and what else so it looks like you have to kind of do these quests chronologically you can’t skip ahead which I guess is fair enough boom Quest destroyed so we’ve got building materials now we’ve got Stone

We’re going to check all this stuff back into the computer honestly so far this has been Mega worth it just because I got 16 stakes and uh oh yeah I’m getting a bit hungry anyway moving on quests so next up we’re gonna make her home right crafter bed now do we have to

Craft it or can we steal one well I think you know we’ll just play it safe and craft one it’s just a bunch of wood and just a bunch of wool and white is perfect from Quest destroyed next up creating a team what’s this use the command FTB team’s party create

To create your team to claim chunks default blah blah well okay boom and I’m in my party oh this is so fun kind of the worst party ever and then I guess just press that we’ve done it cool next teleporting waystones now we can make a Way Stone we can’t find one

Always break it and place it back at your base collect or make here we go yeah yes I should have one in here wow two boom Quest destroyed oh man we are storming through these nothing can stop us now so apart from teleporting with weystones you can also use teleportation Scrolls

Craft yourself a few of these to walk back home on the go and they’re not too hard however ender pearls they’re a bit Rich for us right now so we can’t really do that Quest yet what about easy based teleportation oh these work like pressure plates right click them to get a shard

That you can use on another warp plate to link them alright so these plates are linked together are they expensive to make warp dust Flint stone bricks whoa whoop dirt is amethyst and ender pearls so these are these are important to remember I’m going to add them to my

Crafting things to do there we go a warp plate that we’ll put on the left and we’ll kind of clear this out because it’s got a lot of useful stuff but yeah it’s also a good place to put things that you want to craft so you don’t forget okay so we’re skipping storage

We’ve kind of done the bass teleportation thing now what’s next start a farm okay easy enough get a hoe seeds and wait I think I have all of these wheat seeds and ho ho ho boom Quest destroyed oh man so we are storming through these and we’re getting

Loads and loads of rewards so I’m currently at level 28 and I think that’s purely from doing all these quests it’s nuts now here we go oh it’s never long before the game starts you to think about farming and yeah food and farming is a whole chapter there’s also infernium

Essence the first seed I reckon we can probably do this and I really do want to do a little bit of mystical agriculture because it’s a very very good way of getting materials early on grab yourself a seed and make an infernium seed plant this to grow infernium over time never

Too early to start growing infernium yeah you’re goddamn right okay so where are we gonna find that infernium I have 43 yeah you always collect loads of this and it’s used to make infernium seed how do you make an infernium seed oh there you go with a normal seed perfect

Boom Quest complete now I’m actually going to use all of my infernium to make all of these seeds and uh we’ll think about planting these sometime soon in fact what we could do is use a mine colony to plant infernium without work I don’t know it’s worth trying anyway boom

Quest destroyed oh and we get a seed from that as well so we’re not going to go down mystical agriculture chapter yet and we’re not going to go into food and farming we’re going to finish this page so crack your knuckles pull up a Pew grab yourself a tea and a crumpet and

Let’s smelt our first Iron so we need to make a furnace grab some coal and then make some iron ingots grab some Stone easy peasy into the crafting grid and yes we want to make a furnace first nice we want to get some coal Perfecto now I don’t think I actually have any

Iron or left in fact I probably need to go for a mining Mission but I do have four iron bars does that work no what if I turn these nuggets into a bar five now but what’s the quest say how many do we have to make

It wants us to make eight Okay so we’ve got to go and find some iron our first stick in the mud our first actual block there we go now actually I think I can hear a Trader or is that a witch is somebody under underground here uh it’s a Trader llama

Now there was a quest to kill this guy and his annoying llamas let’s do it slam come back here you no sweat and the other llama boom Quest complete okay and that’s another Quest destroyed so we go back it’s the bounty board I think kill the tray oh my God

Whoa the sword of Alfred GG 100 XP no soliciting sign prevents wandering Trader spawns within six chunks oh that’s perfect and a pedestal I’m not quite sure what that’s for but we’ll find out later on well let’s first off put this sign down because this is going to come in so handy

No soliciting today now so we need to go and find some iron let’s do this liquidy split lightning quick down we go torch in my hand so you guys can see wait more monsters to kill oh right yeah I probably have to kill the monster myself rather than letting it explode

Looks like some iron to me perfect aha I remember this place this is where we found our first mimic okay well yeah I’ve got what I need let’s go top side and get this Quest destroyed oh my God it’s like I’m playing Metal Gear Solid all over again

Okay iron ore at the ready has it compacted into an iron raw iron block it might have done that no I didn’t get that much three clumps that can’t be right yeah well that makes eight anyway so we should be fine now of course before we do that what

We’re going to do is we’re going to get some copper and make ourselves a copper ore hammer 69 nice what that’s going to do is let us duplicate The Ore as you guys know boom 3 becomes six smelt that up tick tock tick tock oh man yeah so I

Love doing these quests because the rewards are actually really really really spicy this is probably the most progress I’m gonna make in one episode ever there we go done it iron getting started smelting our first oars and boom this has given us some more raw iron so now

We’re getting onto the real juice of the mining operation getting an upgrade okay so it wants us to make iron tools oh that’s a bit of a waste of iron really for us but we’ll do it anyway because it’s a quest so we’ll get this all smelting and let’s make some tools

Oh wait we might be able to just acquire the tools so do I have any in my backpack that or in my computer that I can just pinch yeah I do so I could just use the uh pickaxe and the shovel from in here and we’ll make an ax manually

And I believe that is the quest complete boom Quest destroyed oh man we are storming through these so what about now converting logs to Charcoal placing wood logs in a furnace smelts into charcoal great for starting out oh yeah you know what that actually is I hadn’t even considered that well

Let’s turn some of these compressed Oak oh we’re running out of oak logs okay yeah there’s a stack in here but we’re running out of Oak we have to do another Oak Run so let’s smelt some into charcoal and we’ll do this with a couple of these

Because charcoal is quite useful it’s a good fuel source early on oh hello my friend did you come through the portal you’re looking very fancy in your weird hot pants and you you green why do they have green on them is that supposed to be like rot like gangrene I guess that

Makes sense boom Quest destroyed very nice next up efficient smelting tiny charcoal breakdown charcoal and coal into tiny pieces which smelt one item a piece I didn’t know that interesting so we’ve got to make some tiny charcoal now boom Oh and yeah we can just replace all of our furnaces with tiny charcoal

Oh this is so smart oh and I just completed another task randomly from getting iron well I’ll take it boom so we’ve got efficient smelting free coal amazing basic ingots right this is it it wants us to make some of the basic ingots we’ve done it

With iron we need to get gold tin and redstone so I think if we just take Redstone out of the computer that’s going to count right yeah okay but the tin I think we’re gonna have to smelt some of that yeah here we go so where is it raw tin

What does it look like this weird sky blue smelt you up and we’ll oh wait no no oh I’m gonna use the Warhammer of course almost forgot about that one close call so tin will be coming out gold next do I have I have gold in here don’t I yeah gold three

Not quite enough so yeah again we’re gonna make some of that slam and we’re going to just commandeer some of these blast furnaces because we don’t need that much of this stuff so one thing I’ve been thinking about recently is playing Minecraft on some multiplayer servers and I don’t mean

Modded Minecraft survival multiplayer what I mean is like you know they’re kind of like high pixel And Hive servers you know those basically those multiplayer servers where you can go on and do something with a bunch of people like both belief was fun I remember both belief being amazing hide and seek or

Prop Hunt was amazing fun so if you guys have like a favorite online multiplayer Minecraft server that you like to go to that’s not Hypixel or Hive because I already know about those two let me know because I’m Keen to check out some brand new weird and exciting multiplayer

Servers and maybe if you’re playing on them I might bump into you but do let me know in the comment section I really want to check some out anyway let’s move on with the quests oh but it’s getting late don’t wanna lose another colonist oh my God I can’t believe we lost two

Dudes so there we go all of those complete and we’re getting a golden apple for this and 100 XP I’m level 31 great okay so we’re almost finished with this page we need to make now a furnace upgrade iron furnace okay does everything get an upgrade in this pack

If you surround a furnace with iron to in a crafting table you can upgrade it to an iron furnace they smelt faster also be configured to be automated with a cog wheel in the top left of the GUI iron furnaces well let’s do it I mean I was thinking about upgrading my furnaces

Anyway so this is a great place to start and boom an iron furnace now I’m gonna put this down because I’m kind of curious how this works boom iron furnace okay so it’s just like a quick furnace you can add augments and with config you can add fuel as well via pipes and

Things that’s very cool so how quick is it we’ll put some tiny charcoal in here and we’ll try and smelt something like oh I don’t know maybe some copper just a little copper okay show me what you got I mean okay but that’s the same speed as a

Blast furnace so so far I’m not very impressed anyway we’ll leave that ticking and get back to crafting so ironfine is complete oh and this is giving us a stone to iron furnace upgrade how does that work can I just right click on the furnace shift right click boom yeah there it

Goes so now we have two of these I’m not sure if they’re better than um you know a blast furnace however they are a standard furnace so all the things have been cooking in here like charcoal we can now do in an iron furnace and you

Couldn’t do that in a blast furnace so that’s fair enough so what’s next the last thing on this list starter power your first generator and yeah guess what it’s gonna be a coal generator now again these aren’t simple to make some blue dye gold nuggets iron ingots so we need

To go out and find some blue we got any blue in here no just blueprints well let’s go and find some blue flowers first there’s one easy done and while we’re here let’s get a few because these Hobbits down here certainly don’t need any and yeah I think it’s probably time to

Put like a lot of this stuff into the computer because I’m kind of running out of room and that’s where we want all this stuff so in you go now we need to make a coal generator we need to make a machine frame and that ironing got gold nuggets and blue dye so

Machine frame coal generator now we could put this next to the computer so just in case during a rainy day we can fire up the coal generator and use that instead oh we get some free Redstone from this and some XP and there we go now we can go

Anywhere we want we’re at a Crossroads here we can go to Storage storage chapter work out where to put our stuff however we’ve kind of started that with this refined storage computer what else can we do well we can also go down mystical agriculture I love mystical

Agriculture so I’m going to press go on that to start with we can also start with food and farming we’re just gonna get all of these XPS first or we can go down here and do getting started part two well we know how to farm I kind of know how mystical

Agriculture works and we definitely know how storage Works we’re going to go straight to getting started with chapter two and let’s see what this is about oh and now we’re getting spicy take a look at this so we definitely got some roadblocks here we’re not gonna get all

The modium this episode I highly doubt however we can start here basic power you should have a cold generator ready to go yeah we do next up using our power a metallurgic infuser now this is going to come in handy because next episode is going to be our Kickstart into mechanism

Whoa in fact if I take a look at this no maybe this is where we stop because we basically got creating our power wind generator renewable energy connecting power upgrades Yeah so basically we don’t want to go down here because this is where we go when we’re starting mechanism

So while we’re on a race to complete as many quests as we can we’re going to hold fire on this what we will do though is make a metallurgic infuser and we’re going to make a wind generator I guess just to get started so let’s try doing that

Metallurgic infuser there we go put it on the left boom and it’s very simple to make oh man so easy to make I’m gonna need some osmium of course I’ve got some I’ve got some iron in there oh this is all so simple just need some furnaces now and might as

Well get rid of these two because they are pretty scrub level now aren’t they boo Quest destroyed oh wait advancement made as well so now we’ve got some infused alloy for free very nice and we got some XP now I think what the game wants you to do now

Is plug in the coal generator and get going and now while we’re not going to go super powerful into mechanism this episode we are going to put this down and get started with this foreign erator and then next to it we’re going to put the metallurgic infuser right click on the Metallurgy confusing

Go to side config and we can set the left to be power input energy green but we’ll leave everything else as it is wait Infuse types well there’s a there’s a lot of changes to mechanism I’m looking forward to getting into this anyway what’s the next

Part of the quest we’re gonna make some tiny charcoal because does this except tiny charcoal oh it doesn’t oh that sucks well I guess I’ve got to use the real deal coal now no power is really wasted we put coal in the coal generator and I guess turn it on

Boom boom boom boom 40 in there and so four osmium should create the control circuits there we go chiming away oh I’ll sleep through the night man this is incredibly quick work when you have a clear path and you set up like a real clear goal to go through you can absolutely storm

Through all the mods eight so following the quest book is something I highly advise however what’s really made all of this super easy for us is the computer we couldn’t have done this without having everything we have own not in one chest not in a bunch of chests but all in one

Place with a crafting Grid it’s made what we’re doing incredibly easy now we’re going to be going through mechanisms so having extra circuits is going to be really powerful now we’re also gonna need some gold but we’re going to leave that in the computer we can bring this over and craft over there

Oh yeah look at these smoke effects I do love that this is what I love about machinery and modded Minecraft is the hums the glowing light the smoke the power oh it’s just so cool Okay so we’ve got the infused alloy we’ve got the basic control circuits now

Let’s make some energy tablets very very oh my god when did it get so dark so quick I thought I just slept is that it is that just how quickly I’m storming oh no Dr Jeeves who did it it was one of those Wilden oh these Wilderness are freaking Savages he

Jensen over here as the Builder for now so yeah things have been neglected over at the colony but basically yeah I want to focus on getting my base up and running before I you know start to soup up the colonist buildings over there so anyway yeah and this is

The Quest episode also so where were we yeah right gold into energy tablets boom one and two wind generator part one and we’re getting some osmium well three osmicots and some XP and we’re getting some questex here as well start by placing a piece of redstone in the far left slot

Oh so not only do these quests give you sweet rewards they also teach you pretty well about how the mods work anyway now that we have these items I think that’s basically everything you need to make a wind generator well let’s find out we’re going to put it into the computer now

Yeah oh my god wow that was it Quest complete spin baby spin now these wind generators are actually really good they produce a lot of power sweet infused alloy XP and a muffling upgrade oh that’s gonna be great as well and if the noise is too much you can

Install the muffling upgrade so what we’re going to do is we’re going to plug this in and for the time being have this power our computer as well we could always move this next episode when we go down mechanism because it’ll come in handy for the certain mechanism things

Is that is that working yeah it looks like it’s working and the muffling upgrade yeah I think we’ll use that as well oh wow look at this you can drag the window this is so futuristic installed muffling has that worked yeah wait kind of it’s kind of quieter now

Really what we want to do is get this muffling upgrade in the uh what’s it called Metallurgy confuser because this bad boy right here is the loud one so I’m looking at the recording clock now and I’ve basically Loosely allowed myself an hour to do these quests and

I’m at 46 minutes so far so let’s keep going and let’s power through so we stick with mechanism we make an enrichment chamber we make storing power a Basic Energy Cube that could be really handy to make sure our computer doesn’t go crazy we would need some more energy

Tablets though which means more gold so we’re going to come back and skip that for now let’s go back and take a look at perhaps hmm silent gear of course well I’ve already started with this kind of blueprint package oh the blueprint package is a quest reward I really should have looked these

Quests a long time ago silent gear is oh man you get All These Blueprints and I’ve got all these this is amazing each gear piece can be upgraded has special traits and is completely repairable on the go boom yeah well blueprint paper I’ve got to make some of

This which I can do I need some more blue dye but I can do hello villagers don’t mind me I’m just stopping by to borrow some blue flowers foreign look at that there’s a way Stone in the village we’ll leave it there now because we know it’s there but I can always come

Back at some point and grab that up now where are the blue flowers so yeah silent gear is going to be our route to completing a million and one quests in one go so let’s do it boom first up make blueprint paper eight of it there we go and we’ll definitely have a

Use for this blueprint paper anyway because there’s loads of tools we haven’t made okay next it’s saying sword blueprint okay yeah let’s make one of those sword blueprint no sweat and that’s good because we didn’t have one of those before oh whoa look at this we

Got a blaze rod from this as well so is the blazewood like a good tool to use for a sword I don’t know there’s a spare blueprint now what we’re gonna do is we’re going to take the blueprint from the computer put it into our backpack and see if that gets the

Quest complete it does oh my god well okay let’s get all these out the computer stick to Rod saw prospector’s hammer and all in one tool oh look at this the motherload of quests let’s let’s get them completed boom spare blueprint in the bag and Hammer now I’ve lost count of how

Many quests I’ve done but maybe I’ll count up at the end and we’ll have like a grand total oh but I’ve only got 10 minutes left on the clock so let’s see if we can storm through some of these other blueprints so Bish bash Bosh we’re getting loads of these done however they

Only are giving us XP so these aren’t incredible rewards however they are a gateway to something more and we’ve challenged ourselves this episode to complete as many quests as possible and these are coming in super handy it’s a quest off a good old-fashioned Quest off a blueprint book could be handy oh time

Is running out so on my clock now it says I have six and a half minutes left to go to complete as many quests as possible so let’s get doing it template boards flints and wood I don’t have any Flint oh man where’s my gravel at where’s my gravel I can do this

Shovel and gravel come on okay that’ll do that’ll do I’ll need a couple of flints so this will be enough uh right blueprint book template board like this six of those will do in that goes boom the template book bam so what have this opened up blueprint storage Big Time achievement here I’ll

Take it more blueprint paper fantastic tool rubber blueprint but we got this we got this tool rod and tip boom one and wait I’ve already done it okay no rewards so next up is coating grip and binding whoa a diamond and an emerald well we’ll do it for the memes grip

Yeah that’ll work binding yeah easy cheese there we go oh man what’s this blueprint package contains some blueprints for gear crafting wait I didn’t open this right click to open oh my God I didn’t oh why didn’t I open this before it’s okay it’s okay it’s okay we’ll have double blueprints of certain

Things that’s fine okay what no that’s my team and the X over here boom well that’s almost every single blueprint made what about these over here these have some decent rewards yeah how many how much time is on the clock oh okay so three and a half minutes on the clock

That’s a quest I don’t even know how to do that but I made my first tool sure a salvager that’s probably a good thing to make oh my God I need a block of diamond obsidian and some and an upgrade magnet we’re not making a sound which is today

My friends we are not doing that let’s make some more of these blueprints so slingshot Bow crossbow foreign what else time is running out time is ticking down very very quickly um what can we do last few minutes um not silent gear maybe a repair kit

We’ll do a repair kit boom yeah I can do that I can do that repair kits oh we can do all of the armor ones as well okay time looking like oh my god I’ve got one minute ten okay and boom okay with 30 seconds left a elytra bracelet lining and ring

You Lightroom where’s a light truck come on there we go oh my God need another right never mind that’s also very expensive but I can do it I can do it bracelet come on oh everyone a Blueprints and stop the clock oh my God okay whoo well this episode holy crap

So I set out to spend an hour doing as many quests as I could through the quest book what I’ve ended up getting is two iron furnaces a mechanism wins generator that was so insanely quick we got a cold generator from RF tools and a Metallurgy confuser we also got almost every single

Blueprint there is from Silent gear made and a crude repair kit that’s going to be useful going forwards we also made a whole bunch of tools what else did we do yeah oh my God got a Way Stone um we made an insane amount of progress this episode that was so freaking quick

Why have I never done that before so what I’m gonna do now is count up all the quests I achieved in this episode and maybe I’ve set a new world record so in tips and tricks 60. boom nice 61 2 3 63 quests complete holy smokes I think that
