Hello my friends and welcome back to mine cony’s bisen timee now today we’re joined by again dunny she’s been away for a while I’m not quite sure where Where Have You Been Gathering ingredients for a spell okay but she’s come back for a bit of a fish and why Are you fishing I need fish for the spell too okay what kind of spell a spell to stop you asking silly questions oh wow well I can tell when I’m not wanted okay if you must know I’m building you a construct to help around the colony oh okay well good luck with The fishing sounds pretty exciting anyway let’s jump in because we got some big plans this episode last episode episode we got some good stuff done we got the restaurant built we got the fishery built and now we can get fish and food into our colonists bellies but This episode what I want to tackle are the Builder Huts basically these are level two now but there’s honestly absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t be level three maybe four and perish the thought level five sounds crazy but it could be possible so I wanted to come on Over here to Nikki’s Hut to start with and let’s see what the materials are to get this upgraded oh wow so take look at this the materials for level three aren’t super crazy a red banner so we’ll need some red dye but everything else we’ve kind of got now we’re going to Need some more iron cuz I’m kind of running out for iron bars and a block and also the tricky thing about this build it looks like is Obsidian so I reckon it’s time to use some of the diamonds we got earlier put them to good use and go and gather some obsidian and While we’re down there we might as well grab some iron too so we got a jam-packed schedule now once I get these Builder Huts built they’re next thing on the list is the warehouse not sure we’ll get to that today but we’ll give it a Damn good try so what we’re going to be doing is making ourselves a silent gear pickaxe we’re going to get some sticks here and make an iron pickaxe because basically if you get an iron pickaxe and then put it back in the bench it automatically turns it into a silent Gear iron pickaxe pretty cool then once we have that we can give it a diamond tip now I’m going to need those diamonds there’s two in here and that should be enough and then next on the list is the tip upgrade template we’re going to need some template board some paper and some Stone to make a tip upgrade template then we use that with the diamonds to make a tip put the tip on the pickaxe and we have ourselves an iron pickaxe that can dig obsidian template board’s super simple we’re just going to need some Flint I definitely have some of that lying Around oh eight in my pack perfect and some stripped logs which I probably have lying around as well oh in fact I’ve got some in my backpack okay and this is where I’m super glad that I gathered up a bunch of sugar canane cuz we’ll just get a stack Out of here and turn this stuff into paper there we go three is the magic number boom 63 Pages perfect so the stone the template boards the paper like that and we have ourselves a tip now we put the diamond in here with the tip template and we get ourselves a diamond Tip upgrade now combine that with the pickaxe and we’re good to go amazing and uh we’re going to need obsidian right so we’re going to need a bucket too there we go fill this with water find some lava and Bob’s your uncle we’ve got ourselves some Obsidian now down we go in into the mine um right so we’re looking for a big old body of water here because I don’t want to go home with just one lava and even though this is a massive Lava River probability of it just being a single Source lava block is pretty high so we’re looking for a bit of a pool so time to delve deeper Bo now did I bring any torches yeah I got five not exactly a lot but we got the bunny Hoppers so we can evade the mobs pretty Easily do I have any food yeah some bread oh that doesn’t sound sound good oh that’s bad oh man jumped out of the way just in time grab that gunpowder though never know when you’ll need a bit of Gunpowder so on the shopping list is iron we’ll grab some of that great stuff keep it coming and there’s loads of this around Copper could come in handy too so we’ll grab that but the main thing with we’re looking for of course is lava we’ll know When we see it because it glows like a mother trucker not too unlike these wacky squid so into the belly of the Beast we go now we’re actually getting super lucky with the iron we’re getting loads of this stuff oh skeleton just dodge him and that zombie too man yeah the Bunny Hoppers just make monsters a triviality what are you oh it’s one of those guys time to go oh no two of those guys So the higher in level you go with buildings the more exotic materials are required and it’s a loose guideline that I think at around level three or four buildings are supposed to well no I think it’s level four buildings are supposed to require materials from the Nether and then for level five the Pinnacle of a mine colony’s building they’re going to need some stuff from the end now getting to the end it’s going to be tricky I don’t even know where there’s a stronghold I’ve never even seen an ender pearl let alone an Eye of Ender so getting one of those might be Tricky oh man you could get lost down here for days oh watch out spider oh but hello Redstone wait we don’t need Redstone because we got like loads of it from Greg Tech stuff okay well we’ll ignore that stuff uhoh I’m also low on food can I eat midair oh yeah new Tactic oh hello a supply Camp let’s see if there’s some cool booty there’s some apples might come in handy oh hello copper perfect hey get out of here yeah crazy scumbag oh they take damage on campfires that’s an interesting thought you could use that for like a budget mob Farm okay nothing too cool down there but oh my God hello look at this oh this is where all the monsters are coming from time to get rid of this there we go out for the count any cool bits of booty oh my God yeah let me Just put some stuff in my backpack make room for all this delicious Loot and over here what we got oh yeah a name tag a player head interesting and an anvil that could be used in some builds oh mercy that was close oh hello and a girl best friend Diamonds always good to reup the stocks of diamonds boom Oh man anyway that’s about it for interesting booty now let’s deal with this creeper because he’s going to blow me into this lava where I can feel it what are you oh well guess you’re gone now right so We’ll put the water up here let it drip down into the lava then we’re going to dig away at this uranium because whose uranium is this that’s right and now now we’re going to ultim mine this because basically when you ultim mine it digs up all the blocks and then spawns them Right near you so we don’t risk falling in the lava when we get this obsidian all right here we go this should keep us in business for days oh my God I retract everything I said it had to fall the opposite direction oh no I Got a full pack well if at first you don’t succeed let’s just smash that again okay cleared out a bit of space in my backpack let’s try that one more time so ultim mine the obsidian here and then gather it up yeah there we go and how much is this Oh my God a whole stack yeah we’re definitely going to be fine well okay let’s see if I can remember which way I came down here and get top side oh yeah back in business baby so I’ve got loads of obsidian loads of iron from that a Sweet Hall and that means I should have everything to get this build up up to level three wool of course can be made with string which is why it’s great now that we have the fla on botany Hopper partt status and the red dye we can grab a flower from basically anywhere there’s Red flowers all over the shop yeah I reckon we’re good to go there is of course as you can see one spanner in the works right now and that’s the fact that Nikki is still sick yeah look at this dandelion kelp and a poppy Oh of all the things so I’m going to go and grab a dandelion and a poppy but Kel where am I going to find kelp well I’m going to need some kind of ocean biome luckily enough this is apparently an ocean so we can go over here I’m sure There’ll be kelp along this Bank here we are at the coast and of course yes kelp everywhere man kelp is so easy to find if you’re near to the Sea yeah there we go oh and we’re in l look look at this a rogue wayist Stone out in the middle of nowhere we’re going to take the way Stone these come in super handy for zipping around the colony and of course the poppies and dandelion where are you here we are Nikki bravin come here you hold shift right click hopefully don’t Soo with a bucket of water so we’re going to give you one poppy one kelp and one dandelion No actually we’re going to give you two just in case you get sick again we’re going to go and grab the materials and see if we can get these Builder Huts up to level three let’s do it so here we go both of these Builder Huts up to level Three this will unlock level three Across The Colony for all buildings but another big reason to get a builder hut to level three is the fact that it gives you some more settings to change the builder hut as a building especially in bisontine isn’t a huge one So upgrading these to level three hasn’t really taken that long but it really really is worth keeping an eye out because the second any one of these suckers gets sick that’s it they’re out for the count and they will stop building and that’s where I’ve kind of Been lucky I’ve had dunny who’s able to go around and as my builders get sick she can give them the Cure and it means I don’t have to stop the camera but here we are level three absolutely fantastic it’s a great look level three is a big upgrade it looks Like so let’s jump in okay so pretty impressive builds the first level threes of the colony and already looking much more bisen continium than for example oh that Tavern over there look at that ugly wooden Beast JK span your work is great but anyway what do we need to get up to Level four this is the big question and this is going to have some tough Requirements nothing crazy so far a fancy great terracotta door chain blocks of coal brick hang on a sec oh yeah here we go quartz bricks so there is one material that’s required from the nether but everything else is totally achievable so do you know what I think It might be time to go to the nether but if we’re going to go to the nether we’re going to do it in style we’re not just going to toss up some trash little obsidian gates in the middle of a cave and just Dash in no Oh my God take a look at this so I’ve been looking through the decorations and I found something called the cathedral and holy Christ on a stick this thing is huge oh but isn’t it impressive man if I had enough space for this I’d be putting this down but this makes me realize We’re going to have to expand our borders for our Colony by loads anyway we’re not putting down the cathedral as impressive as it is what we’re looking for is the Plaza and Plaza can be found in infrastructure then in forum and we have here Plaza single sublevel end and Mid so what’s Plaza single sstem what exactly is this oh I don’t know what it is but it looks like at level two it comes with its own nethergate very interesting so it looks like the plaza is basically a hub where Avenues are supposed to meet so what we could do is Put a Plaza down over here that hooks up to where the bridge lands on this side of the bank like that and then it would look like this and while that’s a great choice it doesn’t really fit with my vision of what’s going to go here on the coast so I’m thinking maybe we don’t put a plaza here there’s also the system and this basically functions as player housing the game is designed for you to live inside this house and then at level two it actually gives gives you a few extra tools like a well there’s some I think Couriers over there that I guess can be used with your own personal warehouse and there’s also a nether portal right over here lower it down and we’re going to put it right in front of the sea wall there we go now let’s just make sure this doesn’t leap outside of the Colony boundaries because it might do oh no this is actually a perfect fit so what we can do is we can probably get rid of the boat or at least move it somewhere decoratively and have this be our player house now we’ll put it down press tick but the question here is what Are the materials to make it okay not too bad actually what we will need to do though is find a way to get concrete so we’ll set Jay on this our man The Legend and now let’s go look into concrete oh man concrete I was a Bit worried there I saw all that white and I thought oh is that quartz quartz could be bad so concrete is super simple to make you basically make the powder which will be bone meal for us then sand and gravel luckily we gathered loads of that gets you eight concrete Powder then you just drop that into water and the water soaks it up and it becomes concrete then you dig up the concrete and then I guess we give it to the Builder so let’s see about making some concrete powder yeah here we go so four sand four gravel Boom yeah it looks like our best bet is simply just to drop it into the water like this boing and then boom we have some concrete now if we do it one block at a time it’s going to take us forever but luckily enough it’s basically sand so What you can do is just stack it like This oh we’re going pretty high oh my God we’re going real high okay man I hope I survive this fall you know that if you go to a certain height and you jump off into water it’s not going to save you you’re just going to go Splat Okay we’ll drop one piece of concrete off the edge like this woo and let’s chase it down there it goes boing and so like I said you can basically now just sit at the bottom here with your choice pickaxe and dig that Cobble oh man super effective anyway I’m Going to come back to you in about an hour when I’ve got enough concrete and we’ll see what this build looks like oh my God this is going to take us forever so 5 minutes million blocks of concrete later we began construction of our new sistern home now you guys have mentioned In the comments section why haven’t I built like a warehouse a university and a hospital because our colonists are getting sick and that’s kind of on me I’ve been delaying building some of the buildings because I’m nervous about getting our first raids but you know what I think you guys Are right while we’ve been chasing getting the builders hurts up to level three four and five I do think that building a warehouse and a university has to be the next big Priority and also I am really Keen to drag the Avenue up to the left of this sister home and decorate the building a lot more the building looks pretty good when it’s finished but we are going to have to add our own personalization and finishing touches to make sure it looks Like it fits when where it Sits for example we’re definitely going to need to pay attention to where this house borders the sea maybe add like a cool little dock or something but yeah stay tuned because we also need to start adding our new choice of trees which is going to be mahogany okay so the finished build now This looks a lot nicer than the preview and it’s worth noting that when you do the preview for a build it kind of has broken lighting when the building is actually in position in the world it’s going to have things like shadows and nicer looking textures and going to look a lot Better so sometimes you just have to keep the faith and go with it but thank you very much Jay this is a pretty cool looking little base for me oh man I can see it now there’s so many things I can put here that are going to be awesome now we’re Also going to upgrade this to level two but before we do I’m a bit nervous because I want to see what the level two requires more white concrete not a problem a couple of cuers HS and a guard Tower okay oh and of course the 14 Obsidian used to make the Nether Portal Well that’s totally fine we can make the cuers HS and we should be able to do that let’s pull the trigger on this and then see what it looks like so the finishing touches for our sister and home now this isn’t a very long build getting from level one to two with these Outside bits well I mean the time lapse itself is taking like 20 Seconds but I’m super happy with how it looks there’s a lot of flat space that we can decorate later but for now let’s jump in and take a Look okay so now this thing is level two it’s got a bit of a well here pretty cool it’s got a guard Tower but what’s going on over here what are these courus Huts apparently they’re built wait no build options ah here we go so we might as well get these built Very simple materials and we’ll let any old Builder pick that up whoever gets it first but the guard Tower is oh no and the guard Tower needs a white bed and a bit of wall as well okay well we’ll make this but I’m a bit confused this is kind Of supposed to be player housing but in fact it’s it’s just a a big old empty system there’s nothing hidden around here no surprises or anything is there no okay wait a minute here we go so the sister and home when this goes to level two this adds the player Housing section Ah okay so I think what we can do is simply just overlap this like so and what should happen now is when we try and build this it’ll realize that everything is supposed to be here that’s already here but what isn’t here is the player house Okay okay right yeah so Jay took the job and then instantly finished it because guess what the building had already been built so now we can go over there and upgrade it to level two and this should in theory give us the player house oh and The Courier H’s done which means we Can have a delivery man obviously not yet because we don’t have a warehouse okay here we go now this makes a lot more sense so this build is going to come with a post box some brown bricks crafting table Architects cutter a stash all the things we’re going to need to Have a reasonable player house plus we can move things from the boat down here instead well okay let’s get it built you’re on it Jay now it’s kind of clunky filming an underground time-lapse so instead I thought I would switch it to Knight and show you guys a quick look of what the Colony looks like at nighttime we never usually see this because the danger of Monsters has caused us to constantly sleep through whatever night we have anyway let’s check out the house okay so Jay is finally finished underground now there was no time lapse because yeah it’s very difficult to do a Time lapse when the build takes place underground but oh my God this looks amazing I wasn’t quite sure in the preview if it was going to be that good but this is a really impressive build oh yeah kitchen blocks oh so we could even put in like a cooking for Blockheads Kitchen in here if we fancied it oh my God this place is amazing I want to live here in real life what’s this a carpet door no it’s just a panel oh man this is actually pretty Swish and we can retrofit this with any kind of modded blocks that we want comes With obviously the standards Cutters furnaces and whatnot even a grindstone up there delicious and a post box in a stash but what’s this down here this secret little exit oh ah looks like Jay didn’t replace these stone blocks down the bottom so we’ got some work to do to clear this Place out oh man and look at the size of this flat screen TV TV what a beast oh man imagine playing
