And today we have the newest release of the bedrock update one 1730 out now guys changes to uh blowing up stuff that you sleep in and mob spawning big time guys stay tuned let’s discuss hey there guys skipper here from skippy six gaming guys coming to you With uh yeah this is a completely new world it’s super weird because i definitely generate a beta world and then i usually bring the beta over to the update video for the real world however they always kind of sometimes go by one so i couldn’t actually carry it Over we are going to discuss so the major changes to this update here this is a full update of course uh is uh respawn anchors in bed basically you’ll be able to in the you know in the settings you could make it so it you could turn off the explosion when you’re Sleeping where you’re not supposed to and mobs will only now spawn in the complete dark we will talk about this one a little more in depth because it is a pretty major change that said if you enjoy this sort of content and here we go kind of just an overall uh culmination of all the betas up till now we do also have corner blocks added in so what i’m going To do now guys is i’m just going to read the change log it’s a pretty big one it’s at least six pages so if you just want to go over we’re going to look at some of the terrain changes because this actually looks beautiful i have to say i Stopped here i was looking for a mountain and i said you know what this actually looks like a very beautiful terrain it looks like what it’s supposed to look like and i’m not used to seeing jungles anymore so after we read the changelog perhaps we’ll go Down that hole and see what these caves are generating like and yeah so skip 10 minutes if you don’t want to listen to me talk we got this guy here minecraft bedrock one is 17 at 30 out now uh basically the new feature is respawn respawn blocks explode game rule so now The actual game rule exists before i did it so if you slept in a bed in the nether it explodes now if you wanted to make a map or an add-on or something uh you can make it so that they don’t explode anymore uh structure blocks is Corner mode so on jab edition guys when you use structure blocks they do it a little different than bedrock it’s still actually different but they’re trying to switch it in a better way and i’ll show you that after we’re done here so let’s keep going experimental features guys remember turn on your experimental Feature toggle if you want to see all of this new stuff in your world and yeah some things will be a little messed up for that so monster spawning guys that now only spawn in complete darkness uh this change is being made to balance the players ability to light up new larger Caves and make them safe from monster spawning so guys this is not it that’s you don’t even realize the thing on the screen right now this is very difficult they are not going to be able this is going to create some definite changes in the gameplay uh mobs Spawn farms are not going to work exactly the same it definitely is a big time change so we’re gonna have to get into that one a little bit more note this change only affects block light and not skylight please send us your feedback on this change so we’ll see what happens multi-noise world Generation guys this is basically how the new caves and cliffs are going to generate in the world so they have a new and improved terrain and biome generation algorithm that creates more natural terrain and biome transitions improved circus decorations that detects difference between when blocks are generated underwater and underground Introduces large ore veins which i like to world generation adding more strategy to mining introduces noodle caves to world generation small pathways between bigger caves introduces the possibility of dry cave entrances and makes it easier to access the new noise caves introduces a new algorithm that finds suitable spawn positions closer to origin Added logic to save and load sub chunks by absolute y index to support data-driven dimension height ranges updated the achievements button and moved from profile screen to the main menu and pause screens next one performance and stability optimized pasting unicode text into book and quill So now you know that’s ctrl v is pasting it wasn’t working that good before uh that’s on windows 10 at least fix the crash that could occur when crafting a crafting table with gameplay tips enabled fix the crash that could occur when disconnecting from the internet While playing in an online session as a client on ios and also a crash that could occur when downloading large marketplace worlds gameplay changes worlds with the caves and cliffs toggle are now more likely to have the same default world spawn position as worlds without the experimental seed so Basically you probably gonna spawn in the same spot even though they look different matched respawn from bed behavior java edition attempting to avoid placing players on a damage dealing blocks when waking up and attempting to place players on the side of the bed they entered from so they Want to make sure so you don’t die when you respawn nether portals placed between chunks no longer break when leaving the nether damaging buff effects no longer bypass absorption hearts enchanting table enchantments probability is now weighted fixed incorrect position when dismounting that happens a lot actually at negative world height abandoned Villages are now far rarer they gotta be like 10 percent as rare more closely matching the java edition fix emissive light propagation and ray tracing mode by increasing iridescence cache sample size fall damage is no longer applied when falling into a scaffolding guy so that’s like your new You know how you used to fall in elevator to a slime block or water now you use scaffolding and you won’t have to bounce or jump out of the water so that’s good uh mobs cartographers will now only give maps to undiscovered monuments tweaked iron golem spawning Logic to better match java edition so iron golem farms are going to be different now axolotis now spawn only when there is a stone up to 10 blocks under them and not inside bubble columns collecting fish or axolotl with a bucket no longer immediately races releases them excuse me Armor stands now drop equipped items when destroyed by fire or lava limited the maximum number of phantom mobs that can spawn guys thank god oh my god sometimes i come back to my pc there’s thousands of them uh they should just stop at five um let’s keep going ghosts Now play their impact three sound grown up goats no longer lose their horns when reloading a world baby goats no longer have horns fixed animation parody issue uh with skeletons not using both arms to hold their undead mobs standing near powder stone now burn normally powdered snow above undead mobs now prevents Burning effect multiple shelters are no longer able to spawn in the same position from spawn eggs or end city generation mobs can now pathfind correctly when standing on amethyst buds which they couldn’t before lightning no longer randomly strikes mobs that are under blocks fixed mobs sometimes rendering with incorrect Geometry when viewed from the structure block preview window so let’s go we’re going to do a really in-depth structure block look after actually moss block and moss carpet now break when it moved by pistons and sticky pistons no longer pull them water dripping from pointy drip stone could no Longer fill cauldrons with potions sorry yeah no a little bit op to have infinite potions fixed an issue causing slime and honey block movement slow down to not be fully applied to players light blocks once again visible while holding one and properly show the brightness value fix light blocks not Being removed when destroying them while holding a light block fix light blocks brightness not being able not being adjustable when interacting with it uh fixed barrier blocks being destructible while not holding a barrier block so you shouldn’t be able to break it right you only can technically see a barrier block when It’s in your hand so basically if it was in your hand and you could destruct it when it wasn’t there that would be bad so item sucker boxes now drop their contents when destroyed as an item that’s actually super weird do you see that so basically our shulker box is Gonna empty when you try to have a shulker changer you know like a shulker swapper i feel like that’s a what’s that that’s what that means we’re going to test that uh bows and trinity are now held more similarly to the java edition eating horse fruit while gliding no Longer deals fall damage to the player swords now break bamboo in a single swing which is pretty cool uh fix a bug that could cause the trident shield and crossbow to render incorrectly of course fix a bug that could cause the spy glass to appear as if it was being thrown when Using a custom skin using powdered snow bucket on a cauldron filled with power snow no longer creates a new powdered snow block so basically i guess the cauldron just continues to fill with snow endlessly uh clock and compass items no longer function in the recipe book lava buckets can now be emptied into Can now be emptied into cauldron filled with lava so you could just continuously empty the lava bucket into the same cauldron so i guess they’re getting giving you ways to get rid of it so fixed offhand shields clipping into players arms when in third person holding a shield in marketplace maps no Longer shows content error made projectile items more smoothly when far from players strong long splash lingering potions can now be placed in the brewing stand manually so you can actually just put the potions in there to hold them i guess at the bottom is what they’re in Insinuating here uh soul speed boots can now be unequipped properly after losing durability diamond pickaxes found in hogland stable chests are now enchanted that would be nice uh fix items not disappearing visually to other players after a player dies when the keep inventory game is ruled shears now Correctly cut vines and glow like in faster campfires and soul fires campfires now stack in the inventory amethyst walking sounds are now affected by the player volume slider as well as the player volume slider affecting all of these listed things here deep slate moss block sounds of moving jumping and Landing next one here experimental features wither can now be spawned at negative heights gas no longer spawn in less than five by four by five areas and what cubes no longer spawn in less than three by three by two areas medium magmas now have a larger hitbox of Thorns enchantment which is useless uh now it does knock back to mob so now it damages them and sends them far back still nobody’s gonna use it let’s carry on uh cave vines can now be pollinated by bees pretty cool that’s excellent that will be good for bee farms Enchantment tables now emit a light level seven falling position of pointed drip stone is no longer slightly offset disabled biome tilting for spruce and birch leaves bubble columns are now placed properly when loaded with a structure block vanilla parody using bone meal on moss blocks now also replaces tough blocks grass and water Block tint colors are no longer slightly randomized with noise fixed light block not being displayed correctly when being held weeping and twisting vines now grow correctly after the player breaks the minecart with chest will now copy over its contents when advanced pick blocked so advanced pick block i didn’t know there was Something other than pick block i’m gonna look into that uh crimson roots now have a small chance of growing warped nicilium blocks when using bone meal candle now drops when candle cake is pushed rename structure blocks will no longer have the incorrect data mode on creation unicode font now Correctly highlights on signs with glowing text pumpkins placed facing south east or west can now be used to trade with villagers because even if they were mined by a silk touch more candles can no longer be added to candles placed without any support block because basically i guess floating Candles you can make have four candles if you wanted to without a block underneath it so uh shulker boxes now remain in dispensers when dispensed at world height limit monster spawners no longer emit light see that goes with the other error because if it emits light then it Would never spawn uh powdered snow can now be collected uh with a dispenser target blocks now conduct redstone signals it should have done it before it was a fix of a broken thing in the game fixed text signs from drawing maps on ray tracing enabled hardware amethyst Clusters and amethyst buds can no longer be placed on graph grass path blocks corrected deep site lapis lazuli ore name from deep slate lapis or fixed the bed display if the foot of the bed is in a brighter area than the head fix large chest display so that the brightest area End of the chest is chosen to light the whole chest dispensers now remove bubble columns when removing water sea pickles now change light depending on being in underwater or not so they’re going to be different color a different brightness if they’re not under water snow layers are now melted by light from torches Vanilla parity falling gravity blocks will no longer break when landing on certain blocks so i don’t know what that means but like gravel landing on torches i think they mean something different here something that was broken all of the enchantment table book does not render any more blocks move by piston no Longer appear white while moving which was kind of a weird visual glitch spore blossoms no longer have randomly offset hitboxes let’s go we got two more pages here uh we’re gonna go over and then i’m just gonna put the technical ones on the screen we’re gonna jump in we’re gonna Check the gen it’s good guys there is now item transferring animation when deselecting a recipe cyber text now localized properly when new language is loaded on the current language changes fix a bug that could cause the sign in button to appear behind the marketplace button fixed the nodosan smooth font on Windows and xbox platforms with the japanese locale to address legibility and usage of correct characters fixed cr characters uh incorrectly appearing at the end of lines for some display languages enabled new achievement screen on vr not including psvr placing a sign on rooted dirt now correctly opens the text Editor uh the sign in the dialog is no longer shown on split screen game to anyone other than the primary player on a ps4 fix tamed wolves being transparent on the structure block screen so realms changes here i’m just gonna read this and then we’re gonna do a little We’re gonna just post up the technical stuff uh improved responsiveness on realms menus particularly on a nintendo switch the download world button is now visible for worlds on expired realms two player realm no longer count against the 10 player realm limit realms reset button will now navigate the loading screen while reset is Happening the rom slot will now open faster and have a loading dialogue if it takes a long time the realms backup page now only shows the most recent 100 realm backups to prevent overlap issues switching the active world slot into realms no longer spams fetching world info renaming a realm Now takes effect immediately while playing fix some issues being able unable to kick players in the user interface the text on the realms plus trial button is no longer changes when hovered pressing the privacy policy button it now opens properly on a nintendo switch so uh let’s do this one right here we’re Just gonna do one more there’s a gameplay fix maybe this is out of line but yeah data driven blocks can now be added to the creative menu so you can basically add new blocks to the creative menu new chemisty materials new chemistry material reductions for education edition can now be defined in The json files potion prefix and potion prefix potion string resources have been renamed potion string resources have also been separate splash lingering resources the old style using potion prefix and potion dot and all this other stuff is still supported but they’re going to use the new version ui binds That’s a user interface binds objects can now utilize the ignore field attachables that are visible in first person will no longer render backwards so basic fixes to end this off right here fix the bug where entity might fall into its initialize tag component sky no longer renders through walls of large enclosed area When using fog update documentation for matting for item components and how they work with resource packs using water buckets to collect fish has been version locked to prevent old world templates so now you can only collect fish in the versions that allow that you can collect fish and buckets so Fixed controller support when editing npc dialogue uh behavior knockback now has vertical and horizontal strength values so you can make them go up higher or far back adjusted padding in hd textures in minimaps killing a custom mob with an unknown loot table uh type will no longer cause a crash so Basically before if they didn’t know what it was supposed to drop i would crash the game uh rabbit with initial event specified now scales property to adult rabbit size so as you can see right here we’ll let you just read the rest of this technical these are kind of the technical changes And there is actually a few more just pause there’s three of them i’m going to put them up on the screen two at a time whatever it is you want to read it pause but we really went over most of it pretty in depth i think we’re probably Talking for like 15 minutes so back in the game so here we go guys the quickest fastest way to look at these changes is they didn’t actually change the way that these guys operate but now if you wanted to uh basically if you try to sleep in This guy in the overworld i just blew up my whole display for this oh my gosh i had all the videos set up what the heck okay so carry on let’s let’s go new new video location right here so i have most of the stuff in my hands long Story short is you’ll be able to turn that off now so you can make it so these beds don’t explode in your mac pack or whatever it is but in the nether the in the end this will explode in the over world this will explode you can fix that In the settings now um mob spawners so this is the big change guys mob spawners will now only spawn or wait let me rephrase this monsters now only spawn in complete darkness so they fixed this in the sense that if this emit light because it did it did Once upon a time it emit light and even now it will emit light but it doesn’t really it’ll look like uh let’s uh let’s do uh zombie they’re gonna it’s gonna light on fire but whatever it is i’m just trying to show you the so it looks like it emits light because It turns there’s fire right but this is now not gonna actually emit any light whatsoever and the reason why is because if mobs only spawn in complete darkness and a mob spawner emits light they just broke every mob spawner in the world so that’s no good um the last ones we have Here in my hand was the structure blocks so if you’re not familiar usually when i do my tutorials and stuff i use structure blocks a lot we do it on this edition just by simply grabbing whatever it is setting ourselves a denomination for you know how big it is or whatever And it shows us these lines the reason why it’s different on java edition is they have corner blocks which we now have too so they don’t have this weird from what i understand and my use of it on java because i use it on everything um You don’t get this nifty kind of setup here where it really outlines everything on java so people use in java edition corner blocks so from what i understand the fast version of it is is if you want to use a corner block you’re going to have your setup like this and then You’re going to go in and this detect button is now going to be the corner block so say you save it under a name let’s do a qq this is now this corner block save so now you could do detect so i think you have to put another structure block in In here so that’s not in the actual thing and again this just came out like a minute ago but from what i understand is if you go in here if you put the same name on this guy here and then go here and then go to detect Something along these lines i don’t have the specific math to it but basically on java edition guys you have to place these in the corners and then you tell java edition where your boundaries are whereas on this edition you know we just generically put it to whatever we want Because it simply shows us here with this graph right so you can even go like this bang bang i keep messing that up that’s hilarious five bang and there you go so the corner block is now a thing it’s used with detect so i don’t know if you Have to use it by detecting beforehand i did this with my old one long story short we’re gonna get into how this works after so let’s just spend the last of our time here looking at some stuff let’s just get a night vision potion because it’s gonna be uh And yeah so um let’s go over here so basically we can go down here and take a look at how some of these spaghetti caves because basically this is what they’re talking about these noise caves is they really want to have an entrance into the cave and uh let’s grab some night vision And yeah so it’s really tricky business so let’s do this and let’s just go for a journey i think this will probably be closer to the end of our our love here but hopefully this actually goes somewhere good wonk oh there we go look at that And we got kind of a good little cave so i think that we kind of got the shape going on of what’s going to happen with these noise caves you can see it kind of goes down we have our deep slate so we’re getting pretty low It’s super weird the way they work i feel like i understand that it probably doesn’t work too easy see how they’re kind of they kind of hit each other but they don’t it’s really weird like that but here we go we got a nice little drip stone ore so basically that’s the other Thing too is that basically drip stone is gonna come in little clusters like this now and not just be you know randomly everywhere i’m just gonna go to the top here we’re gonna take a look at the world generation because i have to be honest i Was really i was kind of mean and not mean i think that it’s still not totally changed but i think they did some fine adjustments because a lot of people online are kind of like hey you know it’s a little too hilly and this looks beautiful actually when i Was here you know jungles are not the most common thing in vanilla minecraft anymore uh and yeah this looks like a beautiful nice i honestly if i was in survival right now this is a perfect spot for a base there you just clear that little hill right there i don’t Know i’m not going to tell you the seed uh i don’t think it matters no one cares and yeah guys don’t forget to smash that like before you go don’t
