SleepingRaven – Monumenta Starter’s Guide

Hey guys what’s up it’s me raven today i’m gonna be playing some monumenta really quickly the server ip is server.playmonumenta.com and once you enter you will be greeted with this room first of all the bad clients and lunar clients aren’t very good for this game really

Any client isn’t very good for this game sorry for my skin i’m on and out i’d recommend just using custom mods and like a custom mad mod pack you can always download the resource pack by punching this thing to talk to people you slap them to actually

Choose the text options you open chat with t well that’s the default bind and then you click one of the pink text in the brackets so i ask how do i join and then i am ready so you can just grab this to play monumenta you should break

Spawners and then kill the monsters that’s really all you have to do to get through the dungeon without dying you can use loot from chests to upgrade your gear monuments is like a survival thing but it’s so much more than survival later in the game it gets like really really hard

Some people call it the dark souls of minecraft so that’s pretty cool so this is basic survival pve but later on it gets much funner so don’t click off this server yet there’s no skipping the tutorial oh hello hello oh hello don’t worry death is only temporary

Once you die you can always come back and grab your stuff back and even if it’s gone even if it fell into lava or something right now your gear isn’t that important until you start getting like rare items that say rare instead of tiered gear it’s not

That bad losing your items even when you get rares it’s not that bad until you get end game um you have to grind a while um for end game um also one thing feel free to ask anything in chat this community is so helpful and like hypixel skyblock or many of the other

Mmorpgs that you’ve been in monumental has a grave system which is kind of hard to explain um after five minutes of your items just chilling um on the ground no one can pick up those items by the way so you don’t have to worry about your stuff being stolen so five minutes after

It gets put inside the grape and after it’s put inside the grave um watch out because if you if you die after it’s put in the grave all your stuff is gonna become shattered and you have to spend a bit of money to unshatter it so that’s not very fun in my opinion

In my humble opinion we’re even struggling in the tutorial question mark all right once you’ve reached here you can just take this relic and this guy will spawn um all the stuff you’ve gained in the tutorial will be lost but don’t worry about it if i just go over here that’s heist delay

Right um so welcome to see your haven you can head up the stairs and you will finally enter see your haven welcome to see your haven it’s the capital of which is the big world that you’ll be in you’ll be exploring in for a while until

You get to region 2 but that’s for later one thing to get right now is a quest compass so we already have one since we just came out of the tutorial um but if you don’t if you’ve lost yours or don’t know where to find one um

A quest compass is right over here and you can click on this guy and he gives you a list of quests if it’s green you’ve already done it if it’s red if it’s light red you can do it right now and if it’s dark red you haven’t met the requirements so

Yeah and you can just click on any one of the quests to set your compass to go towards that so these are the main buildings this is the teleport hub so basically all the teleports are here and right now you haven’t unlocked any of them but later on this will be super helpful

This is a town hall you can buy plenty of things over here there’s a workshop there’s a jeweler up here is the new player nexus if you guys like reading just click on all these and you can learn about so much stuff over here here’s the poll master every day if

You vote for the um server you can just type slash vote in chat whoops in chat and you click on all these links and you slap them and say i’d like my voting rewards in cxp or ccs ccs you cannot use right now um because it’s

Kind of like um a currency for the next region so i wouldn’t recommend clicking on ccs but you get a considerable amount of cxp for doing that um right here is the forge hey guys as you can see i do have a shattered item so we’re going to go repair that

We’re going to slap on this guy and press i would like to reforge my shattered items and then reforge held item or you can forge all items it’s not fully repaired though so let’s fix that so we’re going to step on this pressure plate and as you can see in

Chat it says it costs 15 levels so let’s go to the experience manager and buy some levels to repair our pickaxe to do this you can just press convert cxp to experience and now we can finally repair our pickaxe and that’s it bye so after you’ve walked around town you can go

North you can tell if it’s north by pressing f3 and um north when you’re facing north right here right here um it says facing colon north so you can just go over here and this is north um you don’t need this but this is for

Guild halls so if you ever want to join a guild or make a guild you can go over there this is a couple of things that you can buy later but not right now sadly and this is the place where you want to go so you want to go up this set upstairs

Up this side of stairs and straight forward and now you’re in captain murano’s room you slap him why did you ask for me in trouble hell blah blah i don’t want to spoil any of these quests because all of them are so freaking fun um so just yeah

So after you’ve collected all these um items you can head downstairs and enter the alchemy labs which is the first dungeon out of many that you’re going to be doing So you just slap this guy i’m here to stop them whoops i’m here to stop them and i’m ready so you’ve entered the alchemy labs um dungeon you need a key for this dungeon you can buy a key here but for this you have a key already for this dungeon

You already have a key so you just walk over here and this is the um dot dot dot or dot underscore yeah it’s this is what i like to call the gate um you just slap him and press only one instance i’d like to start a new instance

And yeah you just start a new instance at this guy and now you’re in this huge room so you can there’s nothing really to see over here but you can click on these pressure plates and you can choose between warrior scout and mage i love scout so i’m gonna play scout
