Building the Roof for the Starter Base in the New Minecraft World
On day 5 of PajamaJohn’s Minecraft challenge, the focus was on completing the roof for the starter base in the new survival world. After starting the construction of the first house the day before, the roof was left unfinished due to time constraints and lack of materials.
Gathering Materials
PajamaJohn set out to gather spruce wood from a nearby mountain to use for the roof. After collecting the necessary materials, it was time to head back home and start working on the roof.
Building the Roof
Using the spruce wood, slabs, and stairs were crafted to begin shaping the roof. The house consisted of two sections – a main area and an extension for the bedroom. The initial attempts at putting the roof on both sections did not turn out as expected, leading to multiple teardowns and rebuilds.
Trial and Error
Despite the challenges faced, PajamaJohn persevered and continued to adjust the roof until it started to take shape. By the end of the day, the outline of the roof was finally in place, bringing the starter base one step closer to completion.
