“Soul Stealer” Soul Build (Lifesteal/Melee Damage) – Minecraft Dungeons Best Builds

Because of the recent buffs – a lot of soul items and enchantments this is a great time to create a soul build today I’m gonna give you a guide on the Soul Stealer belt which is a mix between being a soul build and also a regular

Belt I would say that this is an upgrade of the wither build which was the previous build that I made in my minecraft dungeons best builds series even though both of the builds use the wither armor the Soul Stealer build actually uses a lot of different items

And enchantments and is a better build I would say this is the best build that I’ve made and actually you just seen in general in this current meta and it is a really powerful build anyways let’s get into a quick overview of the build and then an explanation of what you need and

How to get it alright getting into it I’m gonna show you gameplay of the build on apocalypse 7 the highest difficulty in the game in the background so that you can take a look at its play style and see if you like it the Soul Stealer build is a soul melee damage in

Life-stealing build that heals through damaging other enemies and also collecting Souls hence the name Soul Stealer with this build you fight enemies in close combat with your melee weapon and every few seconds you also use a soul artifact to deal a great deal of bursty area of effect damage at the

Same time you utilize your bow not for its damage but rather for its soul gathering and the healing that it can provide you through anima conduit the build has a fast attack speed fast movement speed and clears mobs faster than any other build I’ve seen in this

Meta so far and at the same time it also clears bosses and an exceptional rate thee Soul Stealer build incorporates all of the best items and enchantments from the current meta and is a build that I highly recommend you get the items for because it is well worth it firstly

Let’s take a look at our melee weapon slot we have the whirlwind axe really you could just use the cursed axe instead if you already have it or what I would recommend to do if you don’t have any of the double axes yet is just get the regular version of the double axe

With the best in slot enchantments on it because if you get a double axe with three out of three of the best enchantments on it and I’m gonna be telling you what the best enchantments are shortly and then you get a unique variant of the double axe with two out

Of three of the best in slot enchantments on it should still pick the regular double axe over the unique variant because it will actually outperform the unique variance so really we are mainly looking for good enchantments and not the unique variants anyways getting back into talking about

The whirlwind axe it is of the double axe weapon type so it has a spin attack on every hit that damages enemies in a circular area all around you its unique trait is the shock wave enchantment which deals damage to enemies in a frontal cone in front of you on every

Combo hit which is on every second hit with the double axe weapon type the combination of these two traits in a very high base damage and base attack speed make this weapon have the best area of effect damage in the game at the same time the weapon still has

Incredible single target damage as well and this makes it a perfect choice for clearing full dungeons when using a double axe you want to try to get into the center of MA packs whenever you can this way you fully utilize the spin attack on the weapon and you deal as

Much damage as possible if you just attack mobs from the front you lose out on a lot of potential damage that the spin attack trait could do so just make sure that you are moving into the center of mobs when fighting them now to look into the enchantments that we want for

Our melee weapon none of the enchantments are you must have but they will boost your damage by a lot so it is preferable that you have them the enchantment with first priority is swirling this deals a large amount of damage all around us on every single

Combo hit which is every second hit with the double axe weapon type so we are propping this very often to plainly put it this is a very consistent big damage boost that we really want on our weapon and we’ll make clearing mobs and especially packs of mobs way easier the

Next enchantment that we want is critical hit this has a 20% chance to triple the damage of a hit this just adds to our damage and it also stacks with other percentage damage increases so you can get some crazy critical hits the third enchantment that we want is

Committed this increases the damage that we do to mobs as they get more and more wounded and this is just a flat-out base damage increase which will also increase the effectiveness of critical hit we can already one-shot basic mobs with the whirlwind acts so what we really need is

A faster way to kill high HP mobs committed just helps us do that you could also go with sharpens for the third enchantment that’s just a flat-out damage increase that will also stack with critical hit and since the whirlwind access based damage is really high it will give you a big damage

Increase the best place to get the whirlwind ax and E double axe weapon type in general is definitely the soggy cave secret level it has an obsidian chest that you can get to so quickly and it just makes farming for this weapon really easy and I should also mention

That the double axe weapon type only drops on apocalypse difficulty next up in our armor slot we have the wither armor this is a sole piece of armor that gives us 35 percent damage reduction six percent life silora and a bonus 50 percent soul gathering multiplier if you like see Laura on this

Armor is amazing it recently got buffed from being 3% to 6% and the difference is very noticeable I recently made a video about the best source of healing and minecraft dungeons and I talked a lot about this armor with the combination of our high damage dealing

Weapon and also our soul artifact we end up healing for a lot and sustaining ourselves very easily because of this lifestyle aura this is a soul piece of armor so it also gives us the bonus 50% so a gathering multiplier and this just helps us heal more since we are using

The anima conduit enchantment on our ranged weapon and also this helps keep our souls up so that we can keep on activating the harvester artifact the 35% damage reduction is the wither armors unique perk and this makes it a must in this build because when using

The base version of this armor the grim armor you will have way less defense and die a lot more the wither armor is just incredible the damage reduction that it gives you just adds so much to your survivability the enchantments that we want will improve the fluency and

Effectiveness of this build by a lot so I really recommend getting all of them the first enchantment that we want is soul speed this enchantment gives us a 5% movement speed boost for every visual soul we collect and this stacks up to five times giving us a total of 25%

Bonus movement speed at the max amount of stacks its duration is seven seconds so it is really easy to keep it up although soul speed cannot reach speeds as high as it could before the recent update it is actually no perfect for this build since you don’t need to have much soul gathering

To be able to keep this up consistently and permanently and this is what makes the build to have a fast movement speed all the time and make sure that we feel like we are quick when we are running through dungeons next we want the cooldown enchantment which gives us a

27% cooldown reduction on our artifacts this lets us keep up the Death Cap mushrooms artifact all the time and also activate the harvester artifact more which makes us do more damage and in turn heals us for more as well as I’ve said many times in my previous build

Guides being able to keep up your death cap mushroom is really important in making the build work 24/7 and really just making it feel fluent and well put together and finally we want the cowardess enchantment this increases our mailee damage by 40% when we are at full

HP and this is a massive damage boost we are at full HP for the majority of time with this build so cowardice is actually an insane damage buff with an extremely noticeable difference in how fast you can defeat mobs now if you get the basic version of the wither armor which is the

Grim armor and you get all these enchantments on it you could try out using it but what I noticed is that even though you will clear mobs away faster any build will feel much more fluent with these enchantments if you are missing the 35% damage reduction from

The wither armor there will just be many times where you run into a large pack of archers for example that will just be able to kill you in a second in these situations in which you die with the grim armor you are able to survive in with the wither armor so I

Think that if you get a piece of grim armor with all three enchantments you should use it until you get the wither armor with at least a couple of the main enchants but in the end I really recommend going for the perfect with their armor because it is just gonna

Make life so easy in minecraft dungeons I promise you the best place to get the wither armor is the lower temple secret level because it has a very small loop pool and a lot of golden chests so it is pretty likely for you to get the wither

Armor from there the with their armor drops on any difficulty now looking at our rain weapon slot we have the feral soul crossbow the crossbow comes with the tier 1 enigma resonator enchantment already on it thanks to its perk but that’s not even why we want it because

We never even use it for damage what we do want is the +2 soul gathering that is on it because there are currently no other soul bows that have +2 soul gathering at least from what I’ve seen all of the other soul bows only have +1

Soul gathering once you have the bow you must get the anima conduit enchantment on it the main reason that we’re using soul items in this build is to fuel the anima conduit enchantment this heals you for 6 percent of your total health for every visual soul you gather even if you

Gain those Souls from a melee weapon kill while you have the enchantment on your ranged weapon it was only in the recent jungle awakens update where anima conduit now heals you even if you don’t kill an enemy with the same weapon that actually has the enchantment on it and

That just makes not only this enchantment way more useful than it was before but just soul ranged weapons in general thanks to our with their armor harvester artifact in the crossbow itself we gain a good amount of souls so the enchantment heals us pretty well the Pharaoh’s soul crossbow with the anima

Conduit enchantment on it might be hard to find and in that case you can just use any soul bow with the anima conduit enchantment while you try to find the Pharaohs soul crossbow but when choosing between a Pharaoh’s soul cross but without the anima conduit enchantment

And any other soul bow with the anima condo in enchantment you are always gonna pick the bow with the anima conduit enchantment on it the best place to get the Pharaohs soul crossbow is at the secret cow level and the second best place is the ark Haven secret level it

Is available on all difficulties now looking at our artifacts first of all I want to quickly talk about the Death Cap mushrooms as I’ve already talked about them many times before they’re just a boost to our movement speed and a massive boost to our attack speed which

Just increases our DPS by a crazy amount we need to keep this up permanently which is why we use two mushrooms and a cooldown reduction enchantment now to talk about the next artifact which is Harvester this is the only soul artifact that we use in this build and it is really

The only one we need every few seconds this gives us an amazing burst of damage in a huge circle around us dealing damage to every enemy that is even slightly close to us with that great damage we also get healed because the life-stealing aura will heal us and you can keep using

This every few seconds with no issues with your soul meter running out because through fighting moms with our melee weapon we gain more than enough souls on a consistent basis then we have to swap in artifacts for this build the first one is the boots of swiftness if you

Know that there is going to be a lot of space in between mod packs in the dungeon that you are running through then it may be better to have an increase in your speed instead of the additional damage and soul gathering from the harvester artifact most of the

Time you’re going to want to keep the Harvester artifact on but it is nice to be able to swap it out and the second swappable artifact that i have in all of my builds is the gong of weakening this increases the rate at which we defeat bosses and mini-bosses by two to three

Times and is a big difference maker you don’t necessarily need it but it increases your damage by a lot you can get the Death Cap mushrooms Gong of weakening and harvester all from the secret cow level if you have it unlocked but if not you can get the boots of

Swiftness and Death Cap mushrooms from creeper woods gong awakening from desert temple and the harvester from redstone mines but anyways everybody that does it for the Soul Stealer build I suggest you give it a try I think it is an amazing build but other than that to give me any
