With winter a lot of comfy to be had however the air is so goddamn dry it’s like a desert during winter at least where I come from and the general area things get really really really dry during winter um this is pretty natural for cold for cold times uh obviously

Because you know when water freezes it’s not going to stay in the air and so I end up having to make a bunch of like [ __ ] crazy [ __ ] um things to humidify the the the apartment because hey guess what um I’m not going to spend money on a humidifier that is

Ridiculous um so I end up like with dry skin my elbow is [ __ ] ashy as [ __ ] it’s just absolutely dry and scal um my [ __ ] when I wake up my throat feels like [ __ ] and I end up coughing and God forbid my husband who gets nose beds throughout the whole winter because his

Nose can’t [ __ ] handle uh dry air which is fair you know that’s that’s fair um all in all pretty [ __ ] bad but also Winter’s really comfy and I get to like enjoy being in a warm house during a cold Winter’s day while everything’s covered in snow but also go [ __ ] yourself

Winter I love summer as long as I have an AC I can I can always love summer I love a lot of people in the community make fun of me because they’re like uh oh you don’t go outside enough or you don’t get enough Sun but I love basking in

Sunlight it’s just I have to cover my skin first if I don’t cover my skin I’m going to get burnt me and Sul don’t get a long well unless I take uh take proper care that’s fair simply that’s fair I’m gonna have to move my um my

Aloe vera a few inches away from the uh sorry my nose a few inches away from um the the window because it’s going to freeze this uh winter if I don’t also got to take my vitamins one second daily Vite because it’s getting into winter my vitamin D is really low

So I got to make sure to uh take my vitamins every day or else I’m going to get sick yeah um my birthday is in July so I get it anyway anyway Let’s uh let’s make this announcement quick okay announcement is up but yeah no um I I love summer

Because I have an AC um but back in my old place I didn’t have an AC and the way I dealt with Summer was to have my um was to have my window open at all times and just take cold showers three times a day CU I didn’t pay for a water

Bill back then and it made things a lot uh a lot easier to deal with uh sometimes I would even close the doors and run cold water through uh through like a special thing I made made to cool off the entire apartment with a fan running into the uh into the shower unit

Because that helps to absorb a lot of the heat the only problem is that it humidifies the apartment to a ridiculous degree but it does work and that’s what matters H I used to sleep with um ice packs cuddling ice packs I’m not even kidding it’s surprisingly

Viable don’t do the water thing it’s really expensive if you have to pay for a water bill if you get uh water in included in your um your rent then do it but if you or whoever you live with pays for water trust me do not do it because it gets

Really expensive really quick um just doing like two times daily cold showers when you wash and then um cuddling with like ice packs is the best thing you can do for yourself if you don’t want to spend a ton of money yeah yeah I’m not that

Your life and Sanity intact um so the horror here comes from um rather the actual architecture and uh liminality of the world rather than uh being chased by something well because it’s liminality it’s not the back rooms but it is um I I hate the back rooms mostly because of

The Wii the original back rooms posts were great right the original back rooms posts were just really simple it was just hey you find yourself here and you uh hear something stalking you but in reality that’s just you going insane because you’re you’re all alone here right it there’s nothing the original

Back rooms was there’s nothing in them and if we really want to stick to liminality and the horror that it can inspir Inspire in us then we want to make sure that there’s no entity that can kill you that’s not where the horror of of liminality comes from the like an

Entity inside liminality just ends up adding something else that’s why I don’t like the back rooms we keep it’s [ __ ] [ __ ] um it doesn’t help that um the back roomi has some really bad management as well you have to create an account to post on them and when you do uh you have

To be approved by mods for making changes um and if the mods don’t like you you just don’t get changes but you have a bunch of 12-year olds who get like really bad changes all the time um so yeah I’m I’m not a big fan of the

Back rooms anymore um and yeah it’s a it’s a paranoia or loneliness inspired kind of fear it’s a it’s a creeping Terror rather than a sudden horror right which is right up my alley like I I’m very picky about uh horror games I will play them if pushed to play play

Play a lot of them but not a lot of horror games really opt for the creeping Terror of loneliness dread and Insanity um that’s why I got um uh [ __ ] what’s it called deum I think it’s called or Deon sorry Deon um because it’s a narrative HP Lovecraft

Story and I love HP the HP Lovecraft stuff it’s just good um you can say what you want about him in life but um he was a paranoid schizophrenic [ __ ] Soo mode boy and he made a lot of really really good stories the one of his best

Colorado of space by far I highly suggest reading it um if you can’t read it then listen to it there are a ton of uh readings of it on YouTube and it’s only like two hours long it’s a short story it’s very good um a lot of people think that it’s sort

Of like a um an early interpretation of the horror of uh radiation which isn’t completely wrong but there was there there’s definitely more to it um there’s definitely his style but um it’s very good it it’s essentially a comet falls from space everything inside of it is

Anomalous uh the metals don’t make any sense right um it it’s resistant to all acids we know it gives off constant heat and slowly degrades smaller and smaller or well very fast degrades smaller and smaller and smaller kind of like the halflife of uranium but really fast

Right it gives off no energy that we can detect except for a wavelength of light that we’ve never seen before right um and when they finally crack it open all the way they see a color that cannot be described a color that isn’t of this Earth and from there it just devolves

Worse and worse in the way it affects the people around um around the crash site is really [ __ ] terrifying in a really cool way there’s no there’s no sense of control there’s no sense of uh Comfort it’s just a slow Decay into insanity and Madness as something beyond

Animals you just can’t get enough space to make them happy um so it had like reptiles and spiders and stuff stuff that uh you can make big tanks for and they’d have enough room to be happy right um but they also had a [ __ ] water park in it and me and my

Brother with my mom would go there like once every summer and just get some food uh see some animals and go play in in [ __ ] this a little water park it was [ __ ] great oh that’s [ __ ] trippy I don’t like that I’m not sure if we’re doing portals

Oh that’s a portal scene never mind we’re doing portals yeah it’s one of the mushroom things it it pours water down that was there too oh they uh normally the buckets fill up with water and then they tip over on uh on top of you they have like a counterweight

Design or something um and they fill with water and once they fill enough see see uh see how it’s uh got a got a low uh center of gravity on the uh the handle it fills with water and then they just dump down and then it spins back up

Cuz it’s weighted on the bottom so like kids can go and they can [ __ ] get like water dumped on them they can play in the water with their friends and stuff it it’s just it’s very fun very wholesome very wholesome time the good part about that place too was

That the area was pretty well shaded for the most part so uh generally you could just you could go there and oh great I’m stuck in a [ __ ] Loop like an actual Loop you know maybe these things are the key um you could go there and you

Wouldn’t have to worry about your kids or you getting [ __ ] sunburnt while they’re playing out in the in the water and the water was temperature regulated as well I think these are the key a I’m too big too fat it just sends me flying that’s funny

Weird that was a really comfy level I’m not going to lie it’s not as comfy anymore I don’t know where that leads but I want want to try something no I I didn’t get turn around turned around ah um all right oh wow why why why would you do

Was really good like that was good setup like I’m very picky about horror games but this was very well done no cheap jump scares no cheap deaths there was only really one very high tension situation and it was a very good setup into that situation

Right like we went in and we just had fun at the Golf Center and we did all this other stuff and it was like there was a certain level of like man this isn’t right I don’t like this and then you know um I I mean yeah no shift Shifty anyway

Um I will say this isn’t the back rooms this is just this is actually from the Lial space thing instead of the back rooms Wii because the back rooms wikii is dumb we don’t like the back rooms wikii but um basically uh what I’m getting at is uh

So let me put it this way the setup was a slow buildup into tension um at least in the uh order that we played it we ended up um at the theater which had the mannequin set up right uh and and that was weird and that definitely upped the tension and then we

Went to the pool and things were really comfy and the tension went a little bit down after like the weird theater and then we had a comfy time we had fun and then suddenly bam shadow people and then suddenly bam Chase sequence you don’t know what’s going to happen when it gets

You it’s probably not even that hard of a sequence it’s probably as long as you keep moving to some degree you’re never going to get caught right however it’s still super [ __ ] tense cuz you see on the on the mirror after everything you’ve seen so far keep

Moving and you’re like oh [ __ ] you panic and you just start moving and moving and moving you open lockers I no I don’t think something was chasing me but there was something down there I did see it like I saw like almost like a person and um and and that

Definitely like it made you like you didn’t run because you knew you were going to die you ran because you were afraid and that’s the difference that like the buildup is what really set up that scene it was [ __ ] amazing it was very good I’m I’m very
