Yo everyone what’s going on curry way here and welcome back to episode number two of our hardcore minecraft 1.18 let’s play before we get started with anything i just wanted to say thank you so much for the overwhelming positive comments and support you left on the first episode of this series i am

Really really excited to keep recording this and i was honestly shocked i knew that there were people that wanted to see this but i was genuinely overwhelmed with how many people we’re truly truly excited and i’m excited to keep recording this and seeing how far we can

To be doing the interior of this which i have finalized in a creative world that i have been building in and i am very excited i think it’s going to turn out awesome i’m really really excited to show the final result of this but we’re

Going to be doing that at the end of this video because the first thing we’ll be doing in this hardcore episode is speedrunning the game to an extent you know we’ve already done a lot we have some diamond tools we have like full iron armor but

We’re going to be doing all the cool speeder and stuff we’re going to be looting a bastion we’re going to be beating the game we’re going to do a bunch of end city ratings so i can get just a huge amount of materials and i’m really excited to do that because it’ll

Allow for everything else to kind of fall into place it’ll allow for us to build faster here it’ll allow for us to build more overall just in this area and in future episodes it’ll allow us to do bigger projects so without further ado i think i need to build another portal and

I need to find a lava pool to do that i never noticed this cave here before this is like right next to our house our house is literally right there i don’t know how i never noticed this before let’s not die nice oh my god this looks so cool this

Will actually be really good for getting copper right can’t you get why are you hello i also installed the zoom mod which is pretty epic hi why are you there can i can i assist you i was not expecting that also something you might notice which i’m

Really really excited about i know i keep saying excited a lot this episode i’m sorry i’m sure i’ll find another adjective at some point but i upped the quality on recordings so hopefully you can tell the difference which would be really really awesome this cave just keeps going down oh my goodness

Hopefully this can actually take me to lava that would actually be really awesome oh my god wait i have to be careful of that that could have been bad wow that could have been bad oh that could have been scary but that works more cave nice

All right we have some lava pops i definitely should have brought torches because i can’t see anything down here and i’m also realizing i didn’t bring a flint and steel so i guess we’re wood lighting now this feels like a speed run wait this isn’t going to work

Because i have fire tick off i am going to need a flying steel all right well here’s the flint and here’s the steel that was a new one for me i’m not going to lie that was that was pretty impressive let’s check out the nether here see what we get loading in

That’s a fortress right on us wow okay i’m going to look for my e counter in the top left to see if i get a spike for a bastion but fortress right there is very very nice i’m not going to be able to make a shield but i trust myself and my

Gameplay so hopefully we don’t have to worry about that but it’s not looking like we have anything is that a bastion is this what wait wait wait wait wait dude you’re joking wait you’re joking me this is a random seed i sw i literally oh my god i

Promise you i did not set a seed this is completely random i haven’t even looked at the seed yet because i didn’t want to give it to anyone until like whenever i die in the hardcore world or anything this is a random lava pool under my swan

Not in my swan under my house dude what that is insane i looked for a second i was like wait is that stone brick or not stone brick but like deep slate or not i can’t even speak blackstone that is insane wow well let’s get to looting i am not

Going to enjoy dealing with all of you i’m not gonna break the spawner because i don’t know if there’s like a cool mag oh nope never mind i’m definitely breaking the spawner i’m not dealing with that while i’m here nope no chance bye what do we get oh a two chest treasure

Diamond sword and ancient debris and diamond pants cool oh my god another i didn’t get no way no way that’s freaking awesome oh my god let’s go you also might notice i took a stack of gold with me because piglet trades are so bad in this version i took an

Extra stack based on what we had from our spawn just in case it uh we got really unlucky so hopefully we just don’t especially if it’s treasure all right it’s time to let the flood gates open and see what happens Oh there’s one pig nice flood gates Oh no that’s why we have a gap is there a brood on this side because if there’s not i can just yeah i can let the floodgates open here okay so we’ll do that and then we can break another block and hopefully this time we actually let the flood gates open

Here we go boom boom get mad get mad you’re not you’re not getting mad get get mad go that way yeah nice that’s a decent amount i guess okay so these guys are all trading down here i think once i get a fire as perfect i

Want to head up to the top and see what i can do with the other part of the treasure bash and since treasure is really nice especially in 1.18 and especially for hardcore 2 because you get the chance of getting another right which we actually pulled and we get the

Added bonus of having the most gold blocks out of any bastion so that’s gonna be really awesome hello two friends here goodbye two friends here let’s loot this side of the bastion wow these piglet brutes really just fall from anywhere there’s no one else here cool chest time grab this

So touch pick whoa that’s really nice second chest golden carrots more food and obsidian beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful and then on this side should have two brutes but if i just do this should all fall in beautiful one more hey buddy thank you anyone else here any more

Brutes that i should know about yeah they had that one that one that one oh jeez okay oh this just sucked ancient debris though an iron block okay we got a lot of stuff here but i don’t know how much of it is actually useful stuff

That’s i guess what we’re gonna find out i have a good bit of string i have a lot of arrows wow i do not need this many arrows no pearls slightly concerning i’m gonna be honest especially because i’ve traded like 70 million stacks of gold none eight okay that’s actually not awful

Oh and another trade we’re at 11. okay all right all right looks like that’s all the gold right 11 pearls okay um there’s more gold blocks to grab up top i guess so maybe we’ll trade those last like four or so and we’ll see what we get and then we

Can head to the fortress if i get one more pearl trade i will feel really really good about leaving this bastion i will definitely still leave on 11 but i would really love to leave on at least 12 right that would be ideal here string is fine everything else is fine

I got a pearl trade i didn’t even notice perfect we’re at 14 i’ll let these guys finish out we’re good to go what a beautiful sight what a beautiful sight indeed i want to check the back end of this fortress though it’s very weird to like be playing like grabbing every single chest

Checking everything making sure i have blocks that i need all things i never ever worry about in a speed run so very interesting to do that in this series oh big pole here i don’t need this and i don’t need this i see both spawners this

One looks a bit more accessible i also am thinking of doing something that hardcore people may not be as familiar with which is turning my render distance down to five to get more spawns but this fortress is already doing wonders i don’t even know if i need to do that we

Already have three rods i’ll probably leave on eight just to be super safe and i’m just gonna keep killing blazes All right that’s eight blazed rods let’s see i might as well just make my first portal right about here no point at not i’m gonna cave oh not really and there’s a village hey this is definitely a village that i haven’t found yet so i’m excited let’s see this has to be a

Plains village right probably not spruce or anything else let’s follow the path where’s where is the path even this way oh maybe where is how are you here what the heck where is the plane’s biome this village looks crazy this whole area looks crazy i like this

Area nice river nice foresty area with a village not bad at all cool but unfortunately we’re not here to like look at the terrain we’re here to figure out where we’re going in the in the nether so let’s uh pull up some trunk borders and let’s

Figure this out 20.2 is our first angle on three lines so we’re gonna go this way look at three lines and go to that block our first angle was 20.2 and our second angle is going to be 21.3 so a 1.1 chunk angle change let’s see if we can

Use math and actually get ourselves in the stronghold off of that it’s actually the portal actually goes right here in the fortress so we might as well just build it literally in the wall here that’s actually pretty funny i’m kind of curious to see what this is gonna look

Like we could get a crazy cave spawn we could just hit the portal room we could not hit the stronghold at all it could have been totally off so let’s find out 216 negative 48 or negative 216 negative 48 is where i want to stand

We are on the surface at 63. so it’s probably right around here oh that scared me gravel fell and it acted kind of weird but i found glow squid that’s cool would be cool if the stronghold was exposed here but it’s probably not it’s still probably farther down so we’ll

Keep digging look at that i spy get out of here water now i want to actually find the library so normally i can do a strat called pre-emptive to find the portal room but i actually want to just explore this stronghold naturally i don’t want to do

Any fancy tech see if we can find both libraries and find the portal room and then we’ll be good to go you are you’re joking me okay well let me see if i can find the two libraries actually let’s see how many eyes there are first and foremost go away

And go away how many eyes one eye so one two three four five we can just do this boom all right library time there’s one awesome so we’re gonna grab some books here but we also want to figure out what’s in the chest first chest is just paper which is pretty unfortunate i’m

Realizing i don’t have any gun powder and i just realized that now which is not ideal i guess i could go back in the nether and possibly grab more because that’s going to be really annoying for flying around in the in the end other chest is

Going to have a book and it’s it’s a solid book but not worth grabbing in my opinion boom there’s the second library so same thing we want to check the chest which is i guess on this side this time our book is pretty solid but again i don’t think it’s really worth grabbing

I’ll obviously leave it in the chest i’m not going to destroy it or anything in case i actually you know want to come back and do want to grab it but our second chest it has another book it is punch one so no crazy books like mending or

Unbreaking or anything like that right now i’m just gonna explore the rest of the stronghold to see if i can get the other side music disc which i haven’t done that much research on but i’m pretty sure i remember the way you obtain it is in the stronghold altar chest like this

But we don’t get it and just making sure that i don’t miss anything else in the stronghold it’s time for us to finally jump in the end what kind of island do we have let’s see what do we got nothing well i can build up here this is good

Looks pretty standard and island looks kind of big actually this looks like a pretty big island see if i see the uh good old dragon there it is big island nice normal end pillar so we can do a normal nice one cycle which will hopefully go smoothly

And i also can make a bow and i have a bunch of arrows so we’re gonna shoot down some crystals and one cycle the dragon also get that Very clean oh wait i don’t get the achievement that’s fine i guess i forgot about that part but whatever i’d rather have a three plus one in a hardcore video that looked kind of cool not too bad can i get the xp and it not burn please that would be so great give

Enough to get me to wherever i need to go i also don’t need these torches anymore those can go away let’s throw the first pearl remote getaway at least we have some land let’s turn our render distance up to chunks show me something show me a boat show me an end city

Show me the goods come on game i’m not seeing it unfortunate but at least we have pearls right oh that was a little close i see in i see a city something you may not know about me is i absolutely hate shulkers i think they are so annoying

But they give you the best item in the game arguably so crafted a shield i do not want to be here long especially because i can’t get an elytra here but i do see one two three nice loot tables that i can grab and also get an ender chest from two of them

Which will really help with his inventory spacing even before i get a shulker so i am excited especially with the silk touch pick let’s get moving This is always just the most way too dank room in the entire thing but i have actually pretty good armor right now so i’m just gonna ride the wave up to the top and go from there because i just do not want to deal with this room at all whatsoever i mean

Just look at this Can you hit me for the advancement good sir thank you so much nice little pearl down that way to do the trick beautiful oh there’s another city it doesn’t look like it has a boat either though dang maybe it doesn’t matter that i didn’t bring gunpowder because we’re kind of

Just we’re kind of getting rolled obviously i’m not gonna leave here until i get one with a ship because i do really really want an elytra i see what one tower that has loot oh wait maybe even zero yeah i don’t see a tower with

Loot at all i guess i can go there and kill the two first shulkers and then see if i see any other end cities there’s another one that’s our third it looks kind of small and i don’t think i see a ship we are kind of getting screwed

Over here that’s at least a big one i see two loot tables at least no three i see three loot tables don’t tell me there’s not a ship oh is that it yes okay we’re gonna be able to get an elytra finally oh my goodness i was really

Starting to get worried look how far out i am i’m 3500 blocks out this is our first one with a ship and i have been going pretty much in a circle the terrain here looks not too awful either so hopefully we can get here no major issues kind of loop around

This way i’m very happy that we’ll be able to get at least an electro here i want to leave with at least two or three i plan on doing kind of a lot of end rating i am running a little bit low on food but obviously we have coarse fruit

Everywhere this looks mental oh my goodness there’s yeah there’s one two three four loot tables if you include the ship and there might be one hiding that i can’t see behind all the towers but this is definitely a very interesting looking city Oh my god thank you feather falling probably wouldn’t have thrown that pearl unless i had brother point but still jeez Hello good friend this time for you to perish and i will be stealing your prized possession as is customary in the hardcore world thank you what do we got in here garbage looting too sword i’ll actually take because i don’t have a looting sword right now and a mending helmet i already

Have a mandate so cool bam second shulker not too bad allows me to store more useless garbage so i see another ship load in oh my gosh finally i’m at 15 shulker shells which feels pretty good and i should be able to get a good bit here as well there’s

Some huge towers here should be able to get at least a couple there some here and yeah i’m very happy that we have a second elytra finally that makes me feel really good boom second elytra and a whole bunch of other garbage i guess i don’t really need any of that

But we’re also up to 24 shulker shells which feels pretty good i think we’re gonna hit one more end city maybe get a third lighter i think i’ll feel pretty good with three elytras because i don’t know maybe i want them for something i can always come back i guess too

But i really don’t want to for a while so oh another shulker show nice so up to 25 i already have two of these so one more and i’ll have 10 boxes which is pretty nice i want to go there next and i’m just going to keep going i guess and boom

Officially 10 000 blocks in the end city or end island dimension and look at that we’re rewarded with another island why do i keep saying the wrong words another city and it has a shift and there’s so many chest houses so i just realized something while i’m at

This end city ship that people were probably screaming at me about i haven’t grabbed one of these so maybe i should grab at least one there we go we now have a dragon head so i’ve checked every single thing in the city i’ve been grabbing a little bit of

End rods just in case i don’t want to craft them but i feel pretty good about this we did a lot i kind of wish i would have gotten more good loot we didn’t get that much great loot but we can make it work for sure we can definitely make it

Work for sure and i need to find an end gateway which i don’t know how i’m gonna do and we’re back what a successful end raid i’m really happy with the stuff we got it probably wasn’t what i was expecting fully but we were able to get three eligibility get

Some good loot 22 boxes of shulker is definitely not how you say that 22 shulker boxes is quite the hall to come out of the end with on your first time so i am definitely cool with that and let’s finally for the first time in this series jump through the end portal

Feels good i always love the credits but we’re skipping them and my bed was obstructed how did i do that one it looks like i have a journey to go on hi egg bam thank you it’s still snowing so pardon the quality but oh my goodness this is

Really really close to our spawn and i guess i just like never noticed this i could have totally gone this way from just our legitimate spawn location and seen these incredible mountains but instead i went for the ocean which i guess loaded in a bit faster but that mountain looks

Crazy i didn’t know we had this much snow near our actual base and our spawn so this is this biome is really really big and i think because of that we’ll be able to have a lot of different locations oh god don’t go to the powder snow have a lot

Of different locations that we could build in if we wanted to which could be cool because we could have like a secondary little town here in this mountain area because this looks really really sweet i actually kill the creeper so we can make our first fireworks of

The series and i think cause this electro is getting low i kind of want to switch really fast just to another one i don’t want to lose the elytras themselves i don’t care how much durability they end up taking right now but i don’t want to lose them themselves

Let’s take a quick fly here also get a better view of these mountains oh my god look at this area wow yeah there’s so much area that we could build here if we wanted to there is just not a dull spot in this world i saw a lot of people commenting

That they want the seed i mentioned this a bit earlier but i think i want to keep the seed a secret i don’t even know what the seed is until whether i die or anything like that because this seed is just look at this it’s it’s gorgeous it’s beautiful

If i saw this on episode one this episode would have been 15 minutes shorter i would have very easily just lived here this area is beautiful Stunning oh there’s my house wait how did wait i didn’t even know where i’m going nice this is this is it’s a beautiful area to live in because i am living here good job curry way our house does look beautiful though look at that right on cue look at that

Awesome and it’s nice to know actually that there’s a lava pool over there too this is stunning and it’s good to know that if i just go straight east i can get back to spawn really really easily i still don’t know what happened here with

Our bed i guess when i moved it up here i never set the spawn that was a really genius thing to do but there we go respawn point set and now now that we’re back i have some things to do i need to organize all the stuff we got because we

Have this shulker and this shulker of just stuff and then we have a whole other chest sitting over there i don’t know what i’m gonna do well i figured out what i’m gonna do i am gonna make 22 shulker boxes i believe they’re sitting right here and i have put stuff in

Pretty much every single one of them and organized almost everything and not only that but i have a giant enchantment table here which will do level 30 enchants once i get rid of the snow in the way and not only that but i actually started a very very little bit of the

Interior you’ll notice that the ceiling is different i really like the ceiling i was playing around with it i really like how the wood beams connect here you might have remembered before it was lighter wood and i like this more open feeling that makes it feel really unique

I’ve never done anything like this with the trapdoors and i think it came out really really cool i also just kind of have barrels everywhere where i was going to place barrels that way it’ll make storage easier when i’m trying to sort through all of this giant mess out

There because i’m still not 100 done with all of that and then up here i did very very minimal work just to put our bed frame in i love backwards backwards-facing barrels here i think that is really really cool and i also updated the ceiling up here as well so

This is all nice and fancy the sides are all nice and fancy nice and pretty you may remember before it wasn’t looking that great and here similarly with the ceiling we have the dark oak stripped and the trapdoor so i think it works out really really really really well and i’m

Excited to work on the interior in the next bit but first we need to enchant because we have so much stuff we can enchant everything over on this side is going to be stuff that i’m going to anvil so this will get me an efficiency

For fortune 3 pick which is great this i just need to combine with whatever home and i get with respiration these three boots combine to make the god boots minus mending and then this chest plate here is protection foreign bending so i’m just kind of looking for unbreaking

Three on that and then i got a bow a crossbow a bunch of tools swords so i’m gonna go a little bit crazy here and see what we can get Last one we can do for now i will take it i guess we can combine that with something so that is a lot of enchantments holy cow so that’s all the combining i could really do for right now i never enchanted pants but i guess i guess that’s okay having an unbreaking three

Elijah feels really good having a god chest plate feels really good having a god pickaxe feels great and two looting swords even though they’re not really great on their own yet are is really good i’m very happy with two looting swords so right now i have a main goal

And i have a not so main goal the main goal is going to be finishing out this house making the interior feel very nice and cozy which i’m very excited about i spent so much time on this interior and i cannot wait for you to see it and then

The other not so main goal is going to be staying up at night to make sure that i can get gunpowder from creepers because i really want to use this elytra and it’ll also make me gathering the materials needed for this interior much much easier so probably what i’ll do

Right now is i’ll make sure that i can get everything done that i can while there’s still daytime and while it’s night then i’ll get some creepers then on the next day i can use the elytra and the gunpowder that we have to start flying around and gather the rest of the

Materials that i need much much easier so that’s what i’m gonna get up to when i open this door you will see the final result of our house and i’m really excited with how it came out i finished the entire interior i think it looks great i’m really excited to show you it

You can also see i’ve killed a lot of creepers to get all these fireworks and firework rockets i’m really happy about that it is allowed flying around to gather all the stuff we needed really really easy i’m actually gonna show two screenshots on the screen now as well

Two things that i’ve never seen before one of them was this fossil which was really cool and then the other one i don’t even remember but it was worth me taking a screenshot of so i am gonna show it right now and you’re gonna be surprised whoa look at that it’s so cool

Oh my god um anyway this is our house we’re gonna go inside now since i’m really excited about showing you the actual insights we’re gonna open this door in three two one bam this is our house i think it came out quite nice we got some got a little

Kitchen area over here with a smoker and a cauldron which i think came out cool we have some paintings over here i really love how the ceiling looks and keeping everything open it makes this clock all the way up here and not feel that cluttered because you still have

Those blocks up there we’ve got a nice bit of paintings everywhere some you know some windows still we got the couch we got some bookshelves this to me is like one of those tables you have where you put like your keys and this pressure plate is supposed to be like

The bowl or the plate or whatever i also you can see added some foliage on the outside i replaced it with the grass finally and we added some leaves you can see this leaf is also like a very blue tinted because of the biome we’re in i’m

Not sure if i like that i might replace either this with a different block or maybe use the moss outside too for the green i’m not quite sure let me know with a comment what you think because this is not how i built it in a creative world i

Should have used the same color mapping on the ground parts is that i thought this was a creeper for a second oh my god no i used some lily of the valleys this is our hallway now we have a nice allium up there we got another little book section here which

We can look at the the books over here which is nice uh there’s nothing in this right now we can write hi smile how about that oh i can’t i have to take the book and then i can write hi smile in it there we go beautiful place it back

There’s nothing in that book obviously this is the regular one we got another painting here a nice little carpet and the nice thing is under all these carpets i have our lighting which works really well i don’t have any fancy blocks so we just have torches for right

Now i love this little trapdoor table i think it looks pretty cool and then we also have another painting on the way up to the staircase i know this part is not like large in any sense but for some reason this angle with the carpet and the table

And that painting just feels really good i really like this specific angle i don’t know why and then last but certainly not least the bedroom we got a nice little lamp with the quartz pillar we have more lighting under here which works out really well i

Like the color of this the one thing that i wanted to do but i haven’t done yet is change the color of the beds which i think i’m going to do gray but if you have any other suggestions you can leave those in the comments as well

And then we have our nice little nightstand with some uh a nice little flower we got a painting and a painting which i always think looks cool with the framed painting another clock and then some other paintings and i also put these trapdoors on this window because

This wall felt a little bland and it’s kind of like shutters or an inside curtain or something like that and we still have a absolutely lovely view out both of these windows which i think looks really really cool but with that i think that’s going to be the end of this

Episode and i really hope you enjoy because i think this looks great this torch needs to go away i think it came out really nice especially because i haven’t built interiors in a long time so it was nice to go about that again i have some stuff

I’m gonna have to do in the night at the start of the next episode like organize all of these shulker boxes figure out a place for that and i think you know in the next episode too because my light is already getting kind of low i want to do

Some stuff with villagers maybe we’ll make like a mini villager trading hall or like maybe the start of our trading hall because i also want to do a bigger build so we’ll see where that ends up but for now i’m really happy i think this came out really quite nice and i
