Today I’m going to be using a brand new Minecraft mod that just came out and is still in beta to create a brand new hub for my upcoming Minecraft server the mod is called Axiom and it comes with some pretty awesome tools keep in mind though This is my first time ever really using it to try and build something so I definitely have a lot of progress to make but Axiom comes with lots of awesome features that’ll also Showcase in this video that unlock a massive potential for building in Minecraft Before we get into it over 97 percent of people who watch my videos are not subscribed so if you want to see me show off some more things with building in the Axiom mod make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so you’re alerted every single time I upload we’re Starting out with this plain void world with just this little platform like comes with the fall in Minecraft to start I want to build the base of a floating island I think what we’re gonna do first inside of the editor here is just change everything to be grass Possibly and then we’ll we’ll leave decorations off for now until we decide exactly what we want to do but it’s as easy as that and now our whole platform is made out of grass now May maybe we extend this platform out a little bit more if we were to use something like a Flood fill I think with the grass block then maybe we just plant it right on top there yeah we now have this massive piece of grass just floating it’s as easy as that and the kind of cool thing is that it puts it at an angle so this is not Actually this I’m actually going diagonal right now now let’s maybe put in some mountains now what I want to do is add in some mountains so I think we’re going to use the rock tool and then maybe we’ll use Stone as the base and then we’ll go back in and add grass Back over top so with that selected all we have to do is just drag this and I kind of just want to make like a circular type shape not a perfect circle but something like this should be good and then we’ll just keep stacking that up like this and bring that elevation up We kind of want to keep players contained with this base is my plan in case I do end up actually using it on a server so by placing them like this we’re able to kind of keep them in that border the craziest part is coming back Down into the area and just seeing that you just painted all of this Stone instead of having to place it all manually it’s kind of incredible I also added this waterfall which I think is kind of a nice touch now I want to get some paths added in so I think I’m going To use this uh contaminator tool and I’m going to set it to maybe a gravel ground is what I’m thinking because it has some variation in it and then we’re going to keep it clear and then we’ll add in the center spawn point and then we’ll bring The radius down quite a bit to about seven maybe we’ll go eight and then we’ll Branch it out just to here and then over to here and then maybe out here and bring it back over here and then we’ll do sort of like a big path Circle Going all the way around as well I’m also going to use that same contaminator tool to go ahead and add some grass with some grass on top as well and we will do tall grass and we’re just going to add that to the top of this mountain to give It a little bit of green at least so I’ve done a few things I’ve smoothed out the mountains quite a bit using the smoothing tool and I still haven’t quite decided how I want to do this path I can’t find a way that I really like how It looks I also added this overhang I just thought it was like a nice little touch to have in the corner here as you can probably tell I’ve done quite a bit I’ve added in this wheat field here and I’ve changed the paths to dirt and I Think it looks a little bit better I’ve still got to get some trays and stuff going in here but so far I’m kind of liking it so far what I’ve concluded with this mod is I think it works incredible for terrain generation I think it would work the best if you used It and Whirled at it at the same time because then you get the advantages of both and you can use one where it’s better and then the other other where it improves for example if I were to make something like a lamp post there’s no built-in thing in Axiom where I could Duplicate it I mean there is but it would be a lot harder than it really would be with world edit and it’s wand and then the copy paste pool this is the part where I meant I was wrong I just found out there is a cloning tool inside Of the hot Bar menu you just select it like this and then you can use your scroll wheel to do this and then you can push it in any direction I still feel like honestly world that it might be a better solution for this though anyways Guys that’s going to do it for part one of this video if you guys want to see me improve on this map or even finish it let me know in the comments down below and I will absolutely do that and I will see you guys in the next one take care Video Information
