You did not have to like carefully plan out your teams you could very easily in any of the mainline Pokemon games take your starter level only your starter and nothing else and run through the entire game you will have no trouble doing that you can run your starter nothing else

Power level it so it’s way overleveled for every gym and just beat the whole game and that’ll never be a problem and I’m like I don’t know man I feel like that kind of defeats the whole purpose of typing stuff like if I could Brute Force flamethrower in a rock type and
