So it’s about that time again when we’re gonna do another one of these basic intermediate and expert tier builds I’m sure you’ve already seen from the title but we’re gonna do another survival based one now I’m building and creative but obviously this is meant to give you An idea of the different levels when it comes to creating survival based builds which is why I’m standing in front of this house this is the very first one that we did and it was a survival themed one so it’s like made out of materials that you can get from pretty early on Survival but what we’re gonna do is I’m gonna fly over to here because this is the new area that we’re building in today and I’ve seen a few of these ideas of cliff faced houses kind of floating around online currently so I thought I Would do my own take on it so we’ve got our little cliff face here that we’re going to transform and build a little house in So this is what I came up with the basic version of the cliff face house now as you probably saw from that video I started building and kind of forgot that it was meant to be a basic version so I ended up putting way too much detail Into it so I then decided to kind of downgrade it so that it can kind of fit the theme of a basic cliff face house and I’m pretty sure we’ve achieved that with this we’ve got a nice big circular window very similar to the designs that You see online that a lot of people are doing I know that green and mumbo-jumbo have done something like this for their new hermit craft stuff and there’s been a few other videos floating around as well which has got this kind of circular window design embedded in the cliff Anyway this is the basic version so we’ll show you around a little bit got the little entranceway here walking through into the main living area and the main space of the base I would say the main features of this place is obviously the outside the window inside Nothing crazy going on we’ve got a few furnaces some chests for storage got a cool little bunk bed kind of thing going on up here with some storage beneath it little flowerpot because why not but yes and there’s not really a lot else to say About it to be honest you might not even have this kind of bunk bed thing going on it probably would be a basic bed but I thought I would give it a little something you know but with that being said I mean the others there’s not Really a lot going on here it’s a pretty good starter survival house it’s made from pretty much just wood there’s a little bit of cobblestone inside but the majority is just wood and you can easily make this kind of design here the way that I’ve done this circular window Frame and made it so thin is I use this trapdoors I love trapdoors I use them in any way that I can and you can see here all I’ve really done is basically add a trapdoor to the top side of this block and then the bottom side of this block to help Follow that curvature of the window and give it a rate thin bezel anyway let’s take this basic version and we’ll get out grade it to the intermediate level So we’ve completed our little transformation here and we’ve got our intermediate cliff face house so what’s going on here what about really done so starting from the outside obviously we’ll work away in the main feature is this large window I’ve basically made it a little bit bigger and I’ve made the Frame a little bit more detailed it’s not as thin of a bezel be kind of working with some actual full blocks now and I’ve mixed in some spruce logs into the woods to kind of break up the color a little bit make you look a bit darker we’ve got this fancy and unnecessary Pond at the front but it was either this or a farm and I thought I would change up and do a little I’ll you can go fishing get some food so the other new additions we’ve got this little window and extra room up here I’ve changed the Entrance a little bit and then other than that I’ve just added some leaves kind of scatter around as they’re kind of draping over the front window looking a little bit like moss yes I know there were vines in the actual game but this looks bare so I come in through the Entrance I’ve kind of extended a little hallway a little bit but we’ve got this nice large doorway that leads into the main living space and so obviously the main features here is we’ve got a second level we’ve got a massive spiral staircase that leads up to the second Level which is nice for the kind of smelting kind of crafting area we’ve got this little thing going on here it’s kind of a little kitchen desk blacksmith got some storage here crafting table in the floor just to save him some space and then obviously we’ve got the big Large window there you’ve got some trap doors on the inside as well to kind of break up the color again player so obviously I’m using a few different wood types here we’ve got oak wood down here we’ve got spruce logs dark wood planks to match the spruce logs and some spruce Trapdoors as well anyway going up the staircase and up to the second level so we’ve got this little space here it’s not really used for anything so I just added a little bit more storage basically and then we’ve the actual bedroom tucked away in this nice little room here I’ve got this cute Lil windowsill here which is quite nice see the expert TIG conduit design outside and then for the actual bedroom we’ve got a little painting the little flower and we’ve got the bunk beds again because I wanted to keep using that so yeah those are the changes that we’ve Done you can definitely see it’s looking a little bit more detailed a little bit more refined but I’d still say this is pretty achievable quite early on as well who actually yeah for this top window I wanted to go over the little roof thing that’s going on here again using Trapdoors I’ve just kind of made a different design it’s kind of cool I thought why not it looks it looks interesting but yeah that’s it for the intermediate tier so finally what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take this up great it’s the expert tier and see where Things go from there and obviously if you’re making this expert to build earlier on the game you’re crazy and probably impossible but anyway let’s get on with this little transformation shall we So we are done with the expert tear bill and I’ve got to say there’s a lot going on here and it’s very unique and I’ve never done nothing like this but it looks pretty cool so things that we’ve changed something with the window we’ve basically just Made it extrude out of the surface a little bit further giving it a little bit more of a unique bezel but from that not a huge amount on it the second window we made it a little bit more circular to kind of match the same one down here then we’ve got this balcony Here which you can actually walk through this door from the interior which I’ll show you in a bit walk through from the interior and then you could climb up all the way up this tower to the top floor and yes just to cover this is the same Roof design up here that I did for the starter house I just thought because I’m making a tower again I would just reuse the design because it works quite well for a survival kind of stage so obviously if you climb up to the top of the tower It connects onto this little garden kind of pond area up here which is very kind of Zen real nice you know and so obviously we got the water flowing off the edge here into this water wheel which is completely unnecessary but I thought it was cool realistically I can’t see anyone doing This early on stages in survival just because why not maybe you are who knows but probably not going to happen I’m using trapdoors again because it’s a very thin material and you can kind of make it often every which way direction you want but we’ve obviously got the Water flowing off the edge of the little cliff here onto the water wheel and then down into the pond below they’ve got this rickety wooden bridge that I kind of haphazardly put together that’s interesting and yeah I’ve looked at other water wheels online and a lot of Them are kind of in a pond of water with the flowing over top but I’ve seen a few that aren’t as well so I thought I’d embed this one into the cliff not only because it looks little bit cooler up using this space on the side of the Cliff face but also makes a look a little bit steampunky as well so we’ve got this archway that leads into the main living area Oh got a lovely chandelier up here I decided to keep this spiral staircase that we did from the intermediate one because I liked it I was kind of considering doing a more grand staircase going up the center and splitting off in each direction but I decided to keep the sink in the staircase because realistically it’s a survival house so I tried my best to kind of stick to that anyway what have we actually changed we’ve basically Lowered the floor down to give it so that this window has a bit more of a wall going on I actually really like how this looks I don’t know what it is about it but I just how its kind of got this rule frame to it on the inside again you’ll notice There’s a lot of stone going on in the walls because I kind of wanted to keep to the fact that it’s inside a cliff face and yeah this is the expert ear but I still wanted it to feel like it’s embedded in the cliff face and you’re Living inside of a cliff we’ve got this little kitchen area down here basically we’re just some blast furnaces and anvil smoker furnace and over here we’ve got storage and I decided to make it look kind of like a wine cellar almost either way it’s something is a little bit more Different and unique from regular storage so I thought I’d try it out anyway going up to the second level it’s up here we’ve got a little doorway and I decided to section things off with a wall and so inside here we’ve got the bedroom and living in luxury we’ve got This massive grand bed and yes it still has a bed in the center so you can still sleep in it and I decided to make some furniture as well because why not so we’ve got this little dresser cupboard in the corner here we’ve got this table With a flower pot on top and we’ve got this wardrobe which I mean it looks unique but it does the job kind of I use these gates here kind of as the railing but from that we’ve got some paintings and stuff and that’s about it for the Bedroom but obviously we’ve got to get onto the balcony so I made this little staircase and we’re on the balcony it’s just a little feature because I wanted to make it so you can go outside of the building and around and then kind of connect back in and got the tower so if We walk up the staircase we will go all the way up the spiral staircase to the top of the tower which almost sits flush on the top of the terrain here so obviously you can get to the top of tower walk out and you’ve got this nice Little pond area to fish in or do what you want also the waterwheel doubles up as a slight have you ever feel like you want to or need to do that you can also use that as well completely unnecessary but totally worth it and then lastly all I did was add some bushes and grass around scattering a few trees and that’s about it so that was the expert here survival starter cliff face house quite a long title I’m off to work on that I don’t know yet but I want to know what you Guys thought so let me know down below in the comments I’ve got a little playlist on the channel with all of the other episodes that we’ve done so if you want to check those out then go check out the playlist anyway I’m pretty happy with how this expert to kind of thing Turned out so obviously take this with a grain of salt I don’t expect anyone to be making this early on stages of their survival gameplay but if you do congrat you are insane but yeah this was definitely experienced I’ve never really done anything that looks as wacky as This for like a starter house but I think it looks pretty cool now I’m gonna need your help for something guys I’ll release this world download to the public for free on my patreon if you can get it to 15k lights if we hit 15,000 likes that you can get This world where’s the expert tier start a cliff face house it also includes the very first starter house that we did over there the conduit design over there a massive tree house over here the just as big
