That right there is Herobrine… And he’s pretty scary! Now imagine how much more scary he would be in virtual reality. That’s the question I wanted answered. So I’m playing for 100 days in Minecraft with the from the fog mod all while playing in virtual reality. But join me as we play for Ten more days of Minecraft VR all while being haunted by Herobrine! Day 11. If I was going to make the never portable, I needed Obsidian, which meant going back to the spooky cave. But this time I was determined to be well prepared and smart, which meant making a shield. The only problem with that being that I couldn’t remember the recipe. Isn’t it like this? Oh, wait. No, it’s not sticks. It’s just wood. Wood blocks right? Six, seven, eight. Hmm. I have an idea. Hey, Google. How do you make a shield in Minecraft Java edition? With my shield made, I was ready to go. I said goodbye to my sheep and headed back into the darkness. Do I have? I don’t think I made torches, but we have already got torches down there, so it should be fine. Weee-ahhh! Ouch. Dude, ARGH! you [_] stop. Okay, We’ve got torches now. Good OOHWEE! [_] hell Ryan. You need to get better at this game. So why do I have the farming equipment out still? Put the farming equipment away! Let’s go place some torches about. Make this place a bit safer for when I go down here on expeditions. Im just going to run around and place torches, if you don’t mind? Fight amongst yourselves. Good job! Three creepers. This game is taking the [_]. FOUR CREEPERS! Yeah. All right. With the hole a bit safer and lit up, it was time to look for a lava pool. OOWAA! you little [_]. I went down the left cave first, but found nothing but a dungeon and the skeleton gang that appeared out of nowhere. WHAAAA! Why’d they all just spawn in? So I went in the other direction. And there it was. Yes. This is what I’m after. This is it. Oh, yes, baby. This is what we needed, baby. Now, one of the features of the Vivecraft mod is you can actually swing your axe and it mines no need to press a button. So I was curious, how many swings would it take me to destroy one single obsidian brick with a diamond pickaxe? One, two, three, four, five, 14, 15, 16, 17, 27, 28, 29, 34, 30 hits. Holy moly. Okay. Well we are going to be here for a while. Eventually I got enough to make a portal and went back home for some well-deserved rest. Day 12. Today was the day I made my nether portal and I had to decide where to put it. Let’s put it down there. I don’t know why I like. I like here. Here. Looks like a nice spot for it. Yeah, that looks right. I think that kind of looks good. Boop! Hey, we have access to the nether! I was about to step through the portal to when I remembered that I should probably make myself some golden armour so the piglins won’t attack me. Luckily for me, we have a mountain full of gold that I can use. So off I went to go mine some ore. But little did I know that Herobrine was plotting something that would change everything. Oh, yes. There is a lot of gold in this mine. I understand why they had a mine here, that’s for sure. Yeah, that’s it. Okay, let’s go back. Do do do do do what? What happened to my base? What the hell? Why is it ruined? What the hell happened here? There was a fire or something I guess? With my house destroyed and Herobrine becoming more and more aggressive. (scared Ryan Noises) I came up with a new plan. Use the Nether to get as far away from this place as possible and start a new life where hopefully Herobrine hasn’t reached yet. This man I needed to mine even more obsidian. So that’s what I did. All that was left to do was to leave the cave via the water elevator. Okay. Now, this is always precarious whenever I’ve done this and I’m not looking forward to it, So let’s just dive right in. Go, go, go. Climb as fast as you can. Just hope nothing hits me off. What is that noise? Yep. There it is. Oh, no. So after that Fail, I made my way back to the cave without getting scared by anything at all. I’ve learnt my lesson AHHBLAHBLAHBLAH! and retrieve my stuff where I was nearly killed again. Okay, we’re out. Oh, goodness. No, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, my God. He’s been a shooter than me! He’s better, He’s better shooting than I am, he’s actually better at shooting than I am. He’s going to kill me. Oh, no, I missed. He missed. Oh. Oh, my God. I have half a heart. After that harrowing experience, I ran back to my bed. Happy this day was about to end. Day 13 started wonderfully with Herobrine leaving me a lovely gift. Wait what?! Hello there. He’s leaving notes for me now. Hello there, Ryan Clifford. He knows my name. Oh, my God. Maybe he’s being nice. Maybe that was a peace sign, and I’ve just ruined it. I highly doubt that, considering he burnt my house down. And honestly, this just confirmed it for me. I needed to leave before I started to pack up my things when I noticed something odd. Okay. Where do I want to eat this? It says Eat me. Do do I want to eat this? You know what? I’m going to eat it. It says eat me. I don’t know why I haven’t eaten this yet, but I’m going to eat it. I’m going to stand outside cuz I don’t know why I have a bad feeling about this. And let’s. Let’s eat it. WHA- okay. I am a giant. Let’s see Herobrine mes- Mess with me now you little jerk! Come here. Come here. Where’s my giant sword? (questionable noises) Yeah, I got him. We’ve defeated the game, guys. I turned into a giant, and the series is over. Don’t. Oh, he’s a pro life tip for you all: If you ever find some random food that says Eat me, don’t eat it. I then cooked some food, made some armour and finally stepped through the portal. All right, we’re in. We’re in. Yeah. This isn’t too bad. This doesn’t look too bad. This place is awesome. You’re not mad at me, are you? You’re cool. Yeah, we’re cool with cool. All right, let’s have a look around. Whoa. What is that? That looks awesome. I don’t know what it is, though. Definitely something we’re going to have to explore. But I couldn’t focus on that right now. I needed to get far away and make a return portal. So I noted down the location of the structure and off I went. And as it turns out, the nether is pretty dangerous. Oh, no. Oh, he’s not good. Come on then. I got this. I can fight you! Don’t hit the – Oh, he’s using. He’s using the pigs as cover. Don’t do it. Oh! Oh, my God. All right, let’s. Let’s. Let’s push him. We’ve got to take him out. Oh, Jesus, My OOOO! Where is he? Where’d he go? Did he go in the lava? Okay, well, I’m going to take that as a win. I think I deserve that. He he was so scared of me that he decided to jump in the lava instead of fighting me. So I call that a win. Holy moly, This is awesome. This place is cool. Wow, look how layered it is. This mod makes the nether so much more interesting. Eventually I found the spot where I put the new portal and stepped back through into the overworld: Lets see what happens. Oops. Right. Where are we? We’re in a forest still like a like we’re still in a jungle forest, actually. No, wait. There are lights here. What’s going on here? Why is there a fire burning? Oh, shoot. Well, we got lots of lava! What have we got? We got desert. What is that? This seed has been so cool. We’ve got massive jungles next to next to really cool desert biomes and stuff. It’s awesome. What is this? I think it’s a Well, I’m not too sure. Right. What is this? It is a well. Oh, my God. The forest is just burning. Honestly, this area was really beautiful to look at in VR. And the best part about this area was there was no Herobrine in sight. They’ve all seen me. They’re kind of jerks. I don’t like them. Oh my god there’s so many. Can you not? Could you. Could you guys chill out? Why are you joining in? You’re not meant to be in the desert. This leads us into day 14, where the main goal was to set up A new base of operations. At first I was considering the jungle, but then I realized that was a terrible idea. Oh, actually, hang on. That’s probably a really bad idea. I was about to say, Let’s make a treetop base. If Herobrine is burning, literally burning down My house, it’s a really bad idea to make a house out of wood. So with the jungle off the table, I continued my search and I came across another village which had some interesting inhabitants. They’ve got cows in the house. They are truly civilized people. Cows have their own homes. Hello, how are you? My fun was cut short, however, when I noticed something in the distance. Whoa. What is that? What the hell? Well, that’s weird. It seems as if Herobrine’s messing around here, too. It seems as if I cannot escape him. Well, there’s my evidence right there. That’s his doing. This is. This is probably where he got all of the leaves and made all those pyramids near my other house. It seems no matter where I went, there would be no escaping Herobrine which meant I had to choose the location of my base wisely. I think I’m going to make my home in the desert Because less wood means he can’t burn it down. And if we build out sand blocks, then in theory, he can’t. He shouldn’t be able to mess with my stuff. Okay. I think we want to build a base maybe on this mountainside somewhere. That’ll be kind of cool. After making my way up there past an alarming number of bunnies. There’s so many bunnies everywhere. They’re so cute. I found something that I wasn’t expecting. What is this? Oh, we got an old portal here. Wow. Let’s do it here. Boop! First foundation laid. Love it. ARGH Jesus Christ. These are the foundations. Foundations laid way! And we got some nice building blocks to use here. We use the portal to make some something interesting. Right. Let’s grab some of this stuff and start taking it. Use it as the foundations for my base. What is that? A CHEST! What we got? Thats useful. Thats useful for right now! We’ll use that! Breaking down the nether portal went on well into the evening and it was at this point the Herobrine decided to give me one last scare. Excuse me. I can see you! Lets get my sword out. Heeeya!. Oh, did I hit him? It made a noise. Now, did I actually hit Herobrine with my sword here? I’m not sure. But either way, I continue to build the base late into the night and got some stone for a furnace to make some glass. On day 15, I decided I needed to go and grab The remaining supplies I had left at my original base. But there was another reason I wanted to go back there. I remembered seeing some horses around there and if I could tame one and bring it back here, it would make exploring the desert so much easier. So off I went back through the nether to base one. And if I’m being honest, most of this day was spent lost in the nether, as I didn’t clearly label the way back to the original portal. I actually don’t remember where I came from. How the hell have I managed to get lost like this? So by the time I found it and retrieved my items, it was already nighttime. So I decided to sleep here on day 16. I didn’t waste any time and got looking for a horse And it didn’t take me long to find one. Horses. That’s what I wanted. Which horse is the horse that I want, though? That is the question. Are you a cool horse? Are you a co-thats a donkey. All right, let’s try this horse. Now, let me tell you, this may look normal to you watching this on a flat screen. But in VR, taming a horse makes you feel so motion sick. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done because it’s making me sick. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Lord…. JUST LIKE ME! Eventually I tamed it and I didn’t feel like my stomach could go through taming another one. So this is the one I stuck with. This is the one that we’re using. I like him. I don’t know what I’ll call him. How about I’ll give I’ll leave it up to my discord to decide. So if you want to decide what this horse is going to be named, then join the discord and chime in! Next I needed to get it through the Nether, which is harder than I thought it would be. I don’t even know if this works, but we’ll see. This is probably a really bad idea. Okay. I guess it doesn’t work. Can I, like, force the horse to go in there? Get in there horse! Get in there horse!. In you go. There we go. Get out. Get on him. There we go. Okay, now we’re moving. Now, which way is- I think its up here? I think. Yeah, I think it was up here. Eventually we made our way out of the Nether and back to the base where I made my horse possibly the greatest stable ever built. That’s perfect. Next thing on my to do list was to cook some glass to finish off my base, which gave me some time to kill. I decided it would be a good idea to make use of my horse and explore the desert. And it didn’t take me long to find something amazing. What is that? We got? Oh! Oh, holy moly, We got it. We got a pyramid here. Guys, that’s awesome. Look at that. What a beautiful structure. We’re definitely coming back here later, for sure. We’re going to stock up and we’re going to take that place on. But as he does Herobrine decided to cut my joy short in a way I never expected. Get out of here! For 16 days straight Herobrine has scared me the same way: he stands there, waits for me to get scared and then disappears. This has led me to get a bit bolder To the point where I even started attacking him. So I guess he felt he needed to show me he had some tricks up his sleeve. Get out of here! Wait woah! He’s running around!? What!? He can move!? Chase him down! I didn’t know he could move. That’s. That’s new. And honestly, after this, I ran straight back to my base. First he burns down my house, and now he’s revealed he can actually move around. He was evolving. And with that came new questions about what he was capable of. I’m actually kind of way more scared of Herobrine now. The fact that he can move around and like, run away from me and then disappear, that changes things. What if he can attack me? I mean, he hasn’t really outright attacked me, but I didn’t think he could. I thought he just stood there. Either way. I wasn’t going to let that stop my work. Finishing the base rolled into day 17 and I needed to prep my excursion to the pyramid. Maybe I could find some secrets or a weapon there to help me deal with Herobrine. So I went into the forest to massacre some pigs for food. There’s another one! Come here! Yes. And cook them up at my base. As well as digging up other materials I find useful. I then go early night so I would be well rested for the excursion tomorrow. Day 18. This was it. We were entering the pyramid! I got on my horse, made my way there and once again made a perfect stable for my horse. All right, you stay here. I’ll be back. But as I got closer to the pyramids, something happened to me. Oh, Jesus. That scared me. I had been cursed and couldn’t destroy any blocks. Meaning digging my way in wasn’t an option. I had to find another way in because I can’t break anything. I’m going to have to make my way into the into the top. I think is how it works. Yeah. Here we are. Oh, Jesus. Okay, well, gotta be careful with that. Oh, my God. Ryan, stop wasting them. You’re going to run out before you get down there. We’ve made it as far down as we can go. So here’s my plan. Don’t want to take the damage for falling. So if I do this: Oh wait it breaks? [_]. I didn’t think it broke. Oh, no, it isn’t breaking, it’s just a glitch. Haha clever me, clever me This method would give me a way out if things got dicey but also took Time to do and the longer it took, the more zombies seemed to spawn. Oh my lord, there are so many. I think what I need to do is run around for a bit, jump down, run around and deal with them. Okay? Yeah, that’s a lot. Let’s just. Let’s just place torches everywhere, Make the places a bit safer, and then deal with the zombies. Yeah, that’s a lot of zombies. We got spawners Ooh, okay, There’s one, two. Okay. All right, let’s deal with these zombies a little bit. There is a lot. This is getting a bit much. My sword is running out of juice as well. Let’s just get this to a manageable number and then. Okay! With the pyramid lit and the spawners deactivated, it was time to look around and they were seemingly 3 puzzles I had to figure out. I went to the sword puzzle first. And this puzzle made me feel like such an idiot. One is for two is three one less than four, three then two? First I pushed the button, which turned out to be a terrible idea. Whoa! Oh, my God. Back up guys. That was cheeky. Oh, okay. But at least I got a bunch of signs from it, so that’s great. I originally thought that I had to rearrange the swords as they were all numbered. This would turn out to be a massive mistake that we will talk about later because I ended up giving up on this one And moved on to the light puzzle. Okay, so what is this now? Let’s try this. I’m assuming we want them all lit up? Whats this one do? Oh, Jesus. Okay, that’s not good. This one. Oh, we’re so close. Is that better? Oh. Oh, there we go. Have I done it? Surely that’s it, right? Once again, I have been fooled by the puzzle. So I moved on to puzzle three which was an archery challenge. Oh, okay. This one I understood and managed to do fairly quickly. Yeah. Okay. Now what? Oh, music! What does that mean? Did I win something? I thought maybe completing the puzzle would open up a secret door, but I couldn’t find one. That’s when I noticed the smoke. Oh, hang on. Oh, look, this is on now. This. So because we did this puzzle, this is complete. So completing the puzzle seem to light the fire. And therefore, I’d have to complete all three challenges to complete the pyramid. And I’m not going to lie to you guys. I spent day 19 and most of day 20 trying to figure out the other two puzzles. The light puzzle was actually all right when I took my time and did it methodically. Is there a way I can get it so there’s no lights? So now if I take these ones off, they should turn off, right? Oh, this one does off. Yes. Okay. Is that it? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. That’s what I’m talking about. I can do puzzles, guys. I am not dumb. Sometimes! The real problem, however, was the sword puzzle. Remember how I removed the swords from their positions? Well, when taking a closer look at the swords, I realized something: Oh. Oh, does it? Do I have to move them? So to solve the puzzle, I had to rotate the swords So they would point to each other, depending on what the instruction said. But because I had removed the swords, I had no clue what they were originally making this puzzle now impossible to complete. Luckily for me, being a YouTuber, I was recording the whole thing So I could watch the footage back and figure out exactly where the swords were originally. And once I did that, it was easy peasy. This left me with some good news and some bad news. The good news being that I completed all three puzzles and the bad news. Well, just take a look: Whoa, whoa. Okay. There was another level below, and my only means of escape had been destroyed when it opened up. Meaning I was now stuck in the tomb until I completed it. And with that, the only way left to go was down. Video Information
