Surviving 200 Days of THE INVASION

The invasion of the alien race in World War: Alien has been a grueling 200-day conflict, and the survivors are still fighting for their lives. The US Army is throwing all the firepower it can muster from the defensive rapid response forces located in Nebraska and Colorado to push north, into Wyoming. This would mean the alien fortifications in eastern Colorado and South Dakota would grow exponentially, but if their intelligence was good, the sacrifice would be well worth it.

The US Army’s attack on the northern and eastern flanks of the alien defenses was a feint, meant to draw their attention and allow the assault force to sneak past their front lines. The elves used radar just like the humans, but they were too inexperienced to deploy AWACS style aircraft, giving them an intelligence disadvantage. This meant the stealthy helicopters could fly low and fast and stay out of sight of their radar until they were practically right on top of them.

The survivors are equipped with some of the best the US Army has left, including Delta, Green Berets, Rangers, and a lot of the leftovers. They have all seen combat close up and personal with the elves. The survivors are determined to take down the alien facility and secure the area. The elf resistance is shattered under the overwhelming weight of the surprise attack, and the exterior of the facility is quickly secured.

The survivors set up blocking positions for expected reinforcements, including TOW missile launchers to take on alien tanks and IFVs. The survivors are ready to take on the alien race and continue the fight for their lives.
