Surviving a Vampire Invasion in Hardcore Minecraft!

W all right here we are today we’re playing a custom mod pack that I threw together it’s uh actually a lot of different mods but the main mod in this is called vampirism and uh there’s one right there but uh we’re basically giving ourselves an hour to gear up and

Level up uh before we just have to fight a bunch of these guys see if we can get rid of this one first of all uh but yeah they uh can pretty much sense me from very far away they’re going to chase me down constantly and uh yeah they’re pretty

Strong too they can also break through my builds so they can break blocks to get to me I’m not quite sure if they can see me through buildings or not I think they can but ah man this guy is really tanky oh my gosh all right this is not going well so far

Good Lord how much health do you have there we go okay vampire blood perfect uh we actually need this because is that netherite armor oh my gosh that would have been useful about 20 seconds ago uh but yeah anyway there’s uh two factions you can be a vampire or you can be a

Vampire hunter obviously we’re going to be a vampire hunter ah sweet we got some berries we need to get leveled up because we need to be able to use different types of weapons and and stuff like that oh okay we don’t want to go in

There but we do want this thing oh my gosh there’s a ton of them in there yeah I don’t think I got to mention because the vampire just came out of nowhere but this map was actually made by a guy named GE builds uh I’m going to have him

Linked In the description but uh yeah the map is based on Dracula’s castle and uh it’s very well done so definitely go check out GE he’s got a lot of cool videos um but yeah so we’re going to start off in this Gothic town try to get

Geared up and uh then we’re going to go fight some vampires at the castle um but before we do that we need to get trained and uh I think in order to do that we actually need to craft ourselves a garlic injection because we need to basically inject ourselves with

Garlic make ourselves immune to vampire bites uh but first let’s grab some wood cuz that’s kind of the first thing you do in every Minecraft world all right we can make ourselves some planks get our crafting table going I’m also going to make some sticks and uh we need to make ourselves

A steak and no I don’t mean like uh raw beef I mean like a wooden steak and let’s make two of those cuz I feel like we’re going to probably going to go through the first one pretty quickly um but let’s also make an axe I can’t imagine that this okay yeah

Two damage versus seven so we could probably start off with the axe and then kind of finish him off with the uh the steak there um but we do need to get quite a bit more of this vampire blood uh that way we can level up um but

Let’s go check out this building over here if there’s anything useful and there’s some berries grab that first uh okay I don’t know if you guys saw that but that was definitely a vampire there some bats too let’s have a look okay nope nope nope I hear a lot of

Steps oh y there’s too many okay we’re going to save this one for Later oh he’s showing off his feet usually you have to pay for that let’s check this one out see if there’s anything useful oh okay never mind nope nope nope I’ll leave you guys alone sorry okay so we’re not quite ready for these buildings yet hopefully

We can find one uh that doesn’t have any anybody in it and let’s check this one out nice ah garlic perfect and some food lovely okay let’s grab all this we got some arrows uh we got an umbrella interesting let’s see what this does looks like it just slows us down so

We probably don’t need that yeah definitely big reduction in speed there let’s put that away we’ll leave it for the vampires they can have it don’t really know exactly what I need yet I’m just kind of grabbing everything I can we to get some iron we got some steel

Which we can use to make a weapon uh and probably I mean we got our armor so we’re good on that but I guess we could make a shield and maybe maybe a helmet I guess but I do have a another mod installed I think it’s the Epic

Knights mod or something like that uh but it gives a ton of new options for your weapons and and armor so um but first now that we got our garlic let’s see if we can craft up that injection Uh garlic injection that’s what we want okay so we need to make a syringe first which we need glass stained glass can we use regular hopefully ah we can okay and we need glass panes so all right let’s grab some scent get some of that going and uh we need a furnace now

So going need some Cobblestone I’m not seeing much of that that actually looks like Stone right there so uh let’s go ahead and use the iron I feel like we’re going to find more of that I can get an iron pickaxe going speed this up a little bit okay so

There is plenty of cobblestone around we just got to get it from underwater I guess grab all These all right so we got our glass panes now we we just need two more for the syringe and we’ll go check out that building over there see if there’s anything useful what we decide yeah boom syringe right there and then I think if

We just yep all right can we use this on ourselves nothing’s happening okay so I think what we need to do next is I think we need to find a injection chair we we need to find one of those chairs uh because we need to I

Think sit in it first in order to actually use this thing so let’s see if we can find one we’ll check this building out first there probably going to be some vampires in here yep I hear Them not too worried about the steak just yet cuz I want to at least get trained up before I start using that oh no okay we’re going to have to come back we’re we’re just going to have to come back we got to find a chair first let’s try this one back Here okay ah there we go all right so if we sit in this thing uh okay it won’t let us there we go okay so you just have to use it on the chair ow hopefully I don’t Die uh okay we got some blood we’ll grab all of this stuff get some more fangs more pure blood we’ll be able to make some Arrows with this if we need to let’s get healed up before we get slapped I got some coffins here it looks

Like so now we are a hunter which means we can now use this now that I was officially a vampire hunter I could start hunting these things for vampire blood but I quickly found out that it wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought let’s try this building this looks a little

Spooky oh gosh I hear a lot of blocks breaking oh man there’s a lot of vampires in there oh no oh cool we got a little blacksmith area Some Coal already in it uh tell you what while we’re here we can look at the weapons that we can make uh all

Right so there’s a lot of options here by the time Knight rolls around I want to at least have something long range uh meaning you know I can hit from further away more reach distance I guess is what I’m looking for so maybe a halir

But for now let’s let’s do one of these bastard swords we could do a steel one so we need three it looks like plus a hilt and to make a hilt we need sticks and leather strips fortunately I had already gathered enough supplies so I figured I

Might as well craft it here so I threw down my crafting table and started with the leather strips the hilt and then the sword itself and just like that we we had our very first weapon so I started making my way around the town checking out some of the buildings avoiding the

Ones that were packed with vampires even with the new gear I just wasn’t prepared to take on that many at once I mean look at this the steak just wasn’t working very well I did get more vampire blood though and some of these buildings that chest with even more items I need to

Level up like these fangs books and pure blood there was also a heart in this chest which uh I’m not really sure what it’s for so I just left it there since I wasn’t wasn’t going to be able to take on these two buildings yet I just headed

Back to where I started and worked on clearing out the first building I went in yeah well it turns out this wasn’t that much better of an idea there were tons of vampires in here I couldn’t keep running though because I needed these vials of blood so I just did my best to

Take them out there were also some Advanced vampires in here which uh surprisingly didn’t seem that advanced at least with my door Strat here this is a little cheesy I know but it works all right so let’s let’s try to get one more blood vial and uh then we’ll go try to level

Up let’s see what’s in this one looks like a pretty big building what’s he doing over there some of these vampires were only dropping empty vials so I went to check out this house over here and there was an advanced vampire guarding a chest inside that chest were tons of bottles a

Vampire blood all right so now we need to find a trainer and uh I hear they like to set up outside of these vampire towns so let’s go see if we can find one I think we’ve looted most of the buildings here but we’ll probably come

Back uh just to see if there’s any other loot that we missed out on man this this map is just so nice look at this just the level of detail like I feel like I’m it really feels like I’m playing like an MMO right now oh what is

That why do I hear all kinds of noises okay I don’t know I don’t want to find out though we’ll deal with it later ah look might be a trainer what’s up man oh what is what does this guy have just got like a sign what is that

Like an axe supposed to be an axe he’s got himself a steak too it looks like his looks a little different than mine okay so we should be able to use this here just to get leveled up and ah yeah so we’re now level two

It’s above the uh XP bar down there five more bottles to get to level three 12 oh man okay so we need to I need to get six more vials of blood but I think now that we have leveled up a little bit here uh we should be able to start using

Some skill points okay so we have five skill points left we’ve got like a proper skill tree going here so we’ve got looks like Brewing can make some potions and such uh we can do alchemy we have looks like a combat tree as well well I guess we’ll get started how to

Use a steak that will definitely be handy definitely want that one disguise and let’s start with the attack one so we’ll do I don’t know I feel like damage is probably better than speed so let’s do damage and then uh let’s do crossbow I don’t have a crossbow yet but we might

Be able to craft one usually there’s oh get out of the fire I just saved your life usually there’s a trainer around here is that the trainer no cuz he’s they’re all the same he looks different or these guys look different but I don’t think they’re the

Uh trainer what is Abraham I think you’re the trainer aren’t you I don’t train Hunters as inexperienced as you look for someone L okay so I guess we start with these guys and then we eventually uh come trade with Mr Abraham over here all right don’t you worry I’ll be

Back so I started making my way back to the town because I was going to need a lot more vials of vampire blood on the way I found some iron and gold which I went ahead and grabbed I was going to need a lot of this stuff once I start

Training with Abraham we’ve got four steel ingots can probably make ourselves a steel Shield at the very least uh so that is a 12.5 Max damage 12 and a half uh what about these uh this one is slow oh you can put it on the ground

That’s cool I guess we’ll do like the the heater Shield how about that 6 and 1 12 weight let’s do this one so we need uh what five steel ingots for this one okay so we need to get some more steel before we can do that oh my God there’s so many vampires

Holy cow oh man they’re fast too no no don’t do it oh they came right through there all right so I think we actually got one vile of blood from that which is good dude there are so many in there holy cow how are we going to get rid of

Them all there’s literally like a room full of them back there and I hear like 20 of them on the other side of the Wall oh my gosh they’re fast this is going to be a problem Later oh that guy uses like some kind of magic or blood spitting thing I don’t know that’s creepy let’s get some light in here maybe uh actually let’s not break that so I can easily get rid of you oh yeah there’s still quite a few of

Them over there I can already tell this is going to be fun oh my God there’s so many Yeah just imagine this but like times 300 like literally 300 of these guys all at once all right surely that was all of them right still Adrian drawind he looks like a he’s got like a fox head or something what is this guy supposed to be it looks

Like a vampire outfit of some kind oh there’s vampire blood in here nice okay I guess that was worth it more buckets more steel oh this was definitely worth it so while we’re here let’s go ahead and craft one of those Shields we were looking at so we

Need uh some planks which we have okay we should be able to just craft that up perfect all right what are we looking like nice oh yeah at this point there were only a few buildings left that I hadn’t looted so I started searching them one

By one this gave me the opportunity to put my new trusty Shield to the test there were a lot of vampires in here too they were spawning inside the walls but still this is nothing compared to what I would be fighting against later oh oh that guy just kicked him right towards

Me once I had finally cleared out the building I went to take a look inside the chest and man it was stacked there was iron gold golden apples and in the next one there were a bunch of poison arrows string and these Arrow Clips which are for the hunter crossbow I only

Bothered grabbing one of these since I thought you only needed one uh more about that later but anyway I uh started making my way to the next house and noticed there were actually a bunch of animals out here and these poor things just wait till you see what’s inside this

Building oh this is creepy this must be where they all live or sleep anyway going to close that for now want anybody sneaking in behind me uh steel plates oh okay I assume that’s for the armor we’ll have to try that out I had looted pretty much the entire town but

There was one more building I hadn’t been in yet so I made my way over to check it out and there was a surprise waiting for me oh that looks like a scary vampire I don’t know that I want to mess with this guy he’s got like a cloak and everything

This is a vampire Baron and it’s one of the most advanced vampires in this mod pack they’re a lot faster and stronger and will literally fight each other to be the last one standing see by himself self yeah I I don’t know did we try to take him out I mean

We could come back once we get the bow uh let’s not risk it I mean just look at the detail in these buildings like it’s just it’s absolutely insane like super impressive Okay I lied there was actually one more building left and guess what was inside

It oh yeah there’s oh no there’s another one of these guys is there even any reason to go in here oh God he’s looking right at us we got to get to that I could cheese it and just go around but kind of want to try killing him I

Kind of want to try killing him let’s see if we can see if we can aggro him hello I think these guys run fast which is why I’m a little concerned oh Jesus this is a bad idea okay um yeah I don’t know about that one guys let’s maybe not mess with

Him just yet I do want to see what’s in that chest though cuz there might be something good like diamonds or something should be like right on the other side of this wall okay so just more steel and food I’d say that’s still worth it though all right

Um yeah he’s just waiting for me to come back so I’m going to just kind of run away while I can let’s get out of here we’re done with this place for now all right ow ow man you just can’t you can’t walk anywhere without getting hit by these

Seriously now that I had gathered enough blood bottles I headed back to the hunter Camp so I could train up the next few levels and that is a huge tree that would make a really nice treehouse that one right there so we’ve got plenty of blood hopefully these guys are still

Alive they are uh okay so we’re level three let’s see what this gets us to level four nice and he cannot train us any further okay so now we need to go to Abraham all right what do you need five iron ingots we got 10 missing one of

Hunter Intel for up to level five okay so we need to we need to make Hunter Intel Hunter Intel boom right there we’re up to level five uh it doesn’t actually give me a recipe for it but I think uh I think we have some kind of like table or

Something that we have to craft it on I knew I was going to need a lot more iron to get myself trained up the rest of the way so I threw that and also some gold in the furnace to start smelting it down even this wasn’t going to be enough

Though so after throwing everything in the chest I was about to go looking for more iron when I noticed this doorway oh okay we got a nice little uh nice little cabin here looks like some kind of maybe Hunter armor oh wow man this guy had tons of garlic look at this

But yeah this was uh exactly what we needed there was a hunter crafting table along with the upgraded version right next to it using these we were now able to craft Hunter Intel given we have the required materials luckily I had been collecting a ton of those vampire books

Fangs and blood bottles before I got started I noticed I had two skill points to use up so I unlocked the ability to craft both enhanced weapons and Hunter armor the first Hunter Intel required one regular book 10 fangs and a vampire book I then took that over to Abraham

Along with the five iron ingots which got me up to level five I now had two more skill points to spend so I unlocked technology which allows us to craft the semi-auto crossbow and also how to actually use a stake which makes it so I can instantly kill vampires from behind

As long as their Max health is below 200 I had just enough supplies to get trained up to level six unlocking two more skill points I was now starting the center path of the skill tree the next two skills weren’t super useful for me but that’s okay we were still headed in

The right direction we only needed three more points to unlock the golden crucifix this item was extremely valuable because when the vampire Invasion starts it could be the only thing that keeps me alive I ran into a slight problem though Abraham was now asking for 10 to 20 iron per level and I

Didn’t have that so we were going to need to go find some more iron I started making my way over to the castle because there’s a massive cave underneath it so I figured it would be a good place to do some Mining and that right there is

Where we were headed it was no easy trk up the mountain either I kept getting stabbed by these stupid roses and the trees were so thick I had to cut out a path through the leaves once I finally made it to the top I put my shield back

On and I was ready for whatever was hiding in this cave oh yeah I had a feeling it does look like we have uh quite a few ore here but we also have you guys to deal with let’s just grab some while we’re here oh No I think a lot of this is bedrock this cave was massive and there was a ton of iron in here and also some diamonds but the diamonds were not going to be easy to get to for multiple reasons I don’t like what I’m hearing oh God I think they broke

Through Adrien dra I thought I took you out already Adrian what is this why are you why are you Back oh no we got to go up and hope nobody’s above us oh I’m hearing things I’m hearing things I don’t want to hear but yeah I just started making my way around the cave trying to collect as much much iron as I could occasionally stopping to take out a vampire or

Two oh I think he just fell to his death I think he just took fall damage because it was so dark in here these guys were just spawning uh constantly and once one was aggroed uh they all decided to come after me and it wasn’t

Too bad you know I could defend myself a bit but uh then I noticed my sword was getting low so the strategy quickly turned from killing him to to just simply avoiding them now that looks like an entirely different area up there oh oh oh oh that looked

Painful if I’m not careful that’ll happen to me too we need to uh oh nice some more we need to get to those diamonds before our uh pickaxe Runs Out I mean I guess if we really needed to we could probably craft up a new one down

Here but I really wasn’t that far from the diamonds so I carefully made my way along the edge trying to get directly under them it was like straight up from here the problem was there was just so much bedrock in the way getting down from here is going to

Be fun I didn’t really think about that oh well we’ll figure that out later for now we have diamonds and a lot of them all right so that’s 10 diamonds I made my way back down and mined up a bit more of this iron ore that was around for some reason

There were like five vampires just lingering around and I did not have enough juice on that sword to take them on so I had to find another way out oh God okay that looks really bad I’m just going to look away that looked really bad and it sounded even worse there he goes

Again oh this is not good we got to we got to get off of this Cliff before he gets over here oh God Adrian again really there was quite a bit of iron up here though so I grabbed as much of it as I could while I

Still had a pickaxe there is one more thing I need to do though and I just remembered we’re going to need to grab some lava our pickaxe is about to break too yeah I don’t know what I was thinking but there was no way I was making it down safely

To that lava source there were just way too many vampires so I left and made my way back to the entrance to the lower level this was definitely the safer route even though I still had to fight a vampire okay I think now’s our chance scoop up a bunch of

This all right let’s get out of here now that I had everything I needed I started making my way back back to the camp I decided to take a different route back and look at this there’s even like different biomes on this map this is like a little swampy area and it looks

Really nice with these shaders and I know somebody’s going to ask these are the complimentary shaders but uh anyway not going to lie I was kind of lost here I was just just kind of wandering through the woods at this point I had a general idea of the direction I was

Headed but uh yeah I I didn’t know where I was eventually I stumbled across this river bank and it looked awfully familiar so I made my way across the river and there was the stone path leading back to the camp I threw all the iron in the furnace and crafted up the

Next Hunter Intel to trade with Abraham this got me to level seven with the two skill points I earned I unlocked the wooden crucifix and this purified garlic skill which I didn’t really know how to use and actually didn’t use but now I only needed one more skill point which

Meant I only needed one more level Abraham was now demanding 40 iron ingots which I didn’t quite have ready so while while that was melting down I decided to try and get some weapons going the plan was to make one of these enhanced semi-auto crossbows which required even

More iron Four Diamonds and some string it was at this moment I realized I did not have a single piece of string all that loot I grabbed earlier and somehow I didn’t bring any string back with me I know I saw some but uh yeah I didn’t

Grab any the sun was starting to set but I still needed string so I could make the crossbow and the rest of my weapons including this Hunter axe before I left to grab some I was about to craft my last Hunter Intel when I suddenly heard

This why why are there why are there vampires in the tree take them out oh man I need some help I need some help don’t shoot me oh you are useless oh he just shot me what the heck Oh he just died no I’ve got to save him oh it’s starting oh he’s dead I think he Died there’s our sword our sword’s gone oh no he survived okay we’re good so after that was all taking care of I crafted up the last Hunter Intel took it over to Abraham and got myself trained up to level 8 we now had the last skill point needed to unlock the golden

Crucifix I also went ahead and unlocked vampire awareness since I had an extra point to use now that we were fully trained it was time to go get that string I threw all of those leveling items in the chest because I wasn’t going to need it anymore and I needed

The inventory space I didn’t have a whole lot of time so I started heading back towards the town and I had no no idea which building I saw the string in so I started with this one which is the one I had trouble looting earlier because there were so many vampires and

Sure enough there was still one in there and there wasn’t much I could do because I no longer had that steel sword so I made my way to the next building which was completely looted so I made my way on to the next one which was full of

Vampires I was running out of time I went back to that first building and tried breaking in through the back but guess what my pickaxe broke and I couldn’t quite reach the chest so I just had to run in there and luckily that vampire had left so I ran right up to

The chest and there it was there was tons of string after grabbing those I ran as fast as I could back to the camp to make these weapons you need to use the hunter weapon table and I couldn’t quite figure it out it clearly needed

Lava but I didn’t know what to do with it I I don’t know what we’re supposed to do with this well it turns out you have to physically pour it into the cauldron here each bucket is good for one crafted item so I had to use two lava buckets to

Craft both the crossbow and Hunter ax I only had four diamonds left and rather than use them to make another weapon I figured it was probably a good idea to make a diamond pickaxe I was looking at the different helmets trying to decide what I could make but I was missing a

Key component that almost all of them required steel chain mail I didn’t find any of that in the town the only helmet I could make was this barbute one which uh I suppose is better than no helmet at all and after crafting up a pole by

Combining two hilts I made a steel Pike that way I I had another long range weapon one that didn’t require ammo I definitely went a little Overkill because I made a steel Warhammer too which uh I’m not even sure I used but I figured it would be a good idea to have

Some backup weapons even though I looted these uh spectral and poison arrows earlier I made some regular ones hoping they were compatible with my crossbow then I noticed these Vampire killer ones which instantly killed lowl vampires the problem was I couldn’t figure out how to actually craft them look at this I’d

Fill the recipe and then the option to make them just disappeared I didn’t know what I was doing wrong but it wasn’t going to let me craft any I also made a couple iron axes just in case I needed to chop through a wooden wall and also a

Diamond shovel because you can’t forget about the shovel the last items I made were these staks and I made several of them cuz as we found out earlier they degrade really quickly and this is what our gear was looking like it was time to hunt some Vampires this is it it’s time oh no no oh no they’re everywhere and we still have so much further to run okay they’re not that interested oh my God there’s so many of them holy crap oh hopefully these things can actually help me oh my gosh there’s so many all right

We’re just going to keep running I think the castle is is up here uh off to the left we just got to cross this bridge let’s get over here the hordes should start soon this is just the beginning oh my there’s so many they don’t seem to aggro until they

Get a little bit closer oh one of them has like magic or something okay Oh ah we need one of these okay we’re good we’re good we’re good so far the castle should be up here on the left there it is there’s the walkway we got to watch out for those blood spell things that’s what’s going to kill us if we’re not

Careful oh no here come the hordes oh no they’re right there oh oh my God there’s so many of them oh this is not good we got to get to the castle we got to get there okay let’s just focus on getting to the castle there another horde spawning oh that must be

Them we can try out this crossbow a little bit make sure none of them are sneaking up behind me that’s a lot of vampires though try to get rid of some of these Guys where are these guys coming from I mean I know the other ones are running up the hill but some of them are just popping up uh here comes the reinforcements all right let’s let’s get in the castle what was that was that a sword oh

No they might start spawning in here oh that’s not good oh No oh no there’s so many of them they’re going to start breaking through to me oh oh no this isn’t good all right we got to figure out something from here they’re just going to start making their way up we got to go up I think we got to I think we got

To go up we got to go up or we got to go through let’s see what let’s see what going through looks like we might have to go this way all right we’re going for it oh there’s so many close the door on them oh there’s even more in here oh they’re breaking

In they’re breaking in oh dude this is not good there’s so many in here and there’s even more coming in that’s a baron let’s stay away from him oh God no no No there’s so many uh this is not how I expected this to go all right we got to get to that corner over there I think there’s a stairway that goes up oh it’s so laggy too there’s just so many H there’s even more coming in now we got to get these

Guys interested in us we got to make it over there oh dude this is not Good we got to try to get a little closer you know I probably shouldn’t use all of that wood wait I think I can use this oh dude they just completely destroyed the entire floor trying to get to me this is what’s going to kill me this blindness

Thing all right we’re going for it we’re going for it I can’t see anything but we’re going for it can I keep them off they’re not coming up oh they’re starting to break in again we got to go we got to keep going let’s see if we can

Go all the way up are they going to follow me oh dude there’s so many I I don’t know that they know how to get up here though I don’t know that they know oh god dude let’s let’s just go up see if any of them are coming

Up oh yes they’re coming up all right oh that’s not good they could start spawning in up here okay he’s coming with me let’s go down there are a thousand entities on the map right now there’s a th000 of these guys uh-oh uh-oh I hear I hear them I don’t see

Them okay they’re they’re starting to spawn up here they must be spawning down below there’s one down there okay it looks like it cleared out let’s go down wow they completely cleared this out uhoh okay they’re spawning back in they’re coming from where are they coming from oh

Great oh they’re everywhere we got to find a way through we’re going for it oh no I’m slow I’m slow I can’t move we got to go this way oh gosh all right we got to we got to eat something got to get healed Up what are these like Crips or something oh they’re coming from up there too oh no oh gosh oh oh he’s right there oh dude what do we do I think we just got to kill some from Here I really hope they don’t just start jumping down on Me there’s even more coming Now oh no did we use up that entire I think we used up our entire clip I didn’t realize it worked like that they’re coming back it’s a good thing we have this Pike I guess all right we’re going to make a run for it we got to get out of here
