the first Ever arch on the island the first underneath my volcano arm i was the first one to do it kyle doesn’t have an arch should it should this be given a bit more scale i like it no i like it when things aren’t too a bit a bit too too big right you’re a Bit proportioned to the other islands i do yeah really about the same size as the right so that way there you go so basically my initial arches yeah that’s basically the series right that’s what this is what this needs to look like so the dragon architects if they’re gonna make this the The like the home grounds for us meeting up the missions and setting this as spawn island that’s perfect isn’t it so let’s set this up as spawn island right and let’s make three plots of land equal size plots of land are four so for like for you me uh Carl and jordan you know what i mean all right so i’m glad that we’ve got this layout and this arch that builds up opens up into this i like it oh my god what’s going on here oh that is a lot of mobs lads holy crap okay like in the archway it’s looking Clean it’s looking clean oh Okay okay we’ve got like a full central thing hey you’re probably gonna start some arguments with people being so close to it as neighbors my my thing with minecraft right is you build all these bases and you know you’ve got the ability to do like trap doors with arrows and stuff like that And set up defenses like lava pouring off the edge like your castle or something like that but it’s like but for what you don’t get attacked by anything you could say like oh you could do like a pillager thing and it’s like well yeah but you know you Have to like go over to find a village and build around this village that’s pre-existing i’d love for you to be able to create and activate a raid in minecraft and i know people will just cheat and make it so it’s like the mobs can’t get at you but like If he was smart with like the way the mobs worked or like you know brought out new ones that could counter like whether it is the flying ones you know ground ones one that could destroy certain blocks and walls and stuff like that i think you’d be sick Because imagine if you could like you made your like one base and then you had to like voice around it by walls and then another set of walls and like they would tear down the walls it was up to you to set up the base defense to fight them off That’d be sick like a full-on like base defense for this game would be so much fun it’s like i think um i feel like i’m always missing that one thing new armor and stuff’s great but like what’s it to do like for multiplayer like like since they changed the it Needs to be more like there needs to be more stuff in the game for you to do than just building i think like this game has got a large array of blocks to build with yeah you could even go as far to add like slabs that can go like vertical slabs yeah Um and that would add a large a huge difference to the way that things are built like i got i feel like i got a little bit baited by like minecraft dungeons and like the minecraft adventure stuff like that came out thinking that it was Going to be like oh my god i can actually go and explore a dungeon in minecraft and it feels like a dungeon yeah which i think that stuff like that would be really good after the game i feel like what that that get that that game that they released even shows it’s Like they’ve got the potential to release so much stuff that they could basically you know implement in this game like going into the dungeons and like raids being there and bosses and items and all that sort of stuff and they just choose not to do it Right i know it’s like from a capacity standpoint but like mate how much money is that gate as minecraft got like you can’t turn around to me and say it’s because of it’s financial issues we can’t do it like yes yeah right you you’ve been bloody drunk If you think we’re gonna believe that it not soldier for how much exactly don’t come at me saying you can’t afford it all right get it going one thing i love for video games is you can you can use it as a way to look at life i’m 27 years old And you might be like well how can you say that now let me explain it if if you take my experience i played call of duty 4 and my one dream about playing cod 4 was to get to the highest level unlock all the golden guns And and that was it like i was so hyped to do it and it took me like 30 days playing time to do it which is a lot of game time to play this game i played it so god damn much loads of difference i Call it in total i probably had about 60 days playing time on this game i loved it and i was always like all right gonna get to this level get to that level get to this and i did it and as i got to these like points in my in the game it Was like all right i’ve got something to look forward to but when you complete it you get to point where you’re like now what and it’s almost like life like you can use this as an example of my youtube i always wanted to become a youtuber and hit like a million subscribers Or you know a thousand or a hundred then you get there and it’s like i got to a thousand subscribers i got to ten thousand subscribers got 100 000 subscribers got to a million subscribers and you could say get to 10 million subscribers let’s say i did that and Let’s say even if i was still on it which i’m not but you could say like i got there but then you get to that feeling of like right you’ve achieved it now what so that’s the problem with games is like if you think about every Game it’s like i’m gonna put 60 hours into that game for what like what do i get at the end of it you realize it’s about the experience that you’ve had along the way of it not so much like what you are actually left with at the end and that’s why it’s like Think about this entire episode and series of my night that we’ve had so far it has been so much fun and the last that we’ve had the entire way along with it has been amazing but when you do try and sit down and go now what you will find yourself Being like oh you know like what’s the point in playing but then it’s like almost like life you know you constantly go oh i’m gonna save up for this house then you get the house and you’re like right now what i’m gonna save up for the car i’m gonna get the Car now what and then it’s like oh you know i don’t know let’s have kids and then you have the kid and the kid grows up then you’re like now what it’s always like life you know it’s there’s always a what’s next it’s human nature to be waiting for the next thing and With this game you always want that next thing and like with loads of games it’s like now what that’s why games like world of warcraft runescape are such good games in that aspect because to get to that point of you’ve been able to go now what it takes Absurd amount of time to get to the highest level to get every single weapon every single like animal everything unlocked like so 100 that game takes thousands of like hours if not like hundreds of days playing time so it’s always yeah that seek for a ch like achievement or an Accomplishment like trying to do that is crazy whereas like game of thrones jump on 25 minutes you get the win but you want to get that win again so it’s really addictive because your skill comes down to it and you keep wanting to go and go and go But then you could say like how many games do you want to win on warzone until you go oh yeah that was enough i’m happy with that now it’s all about the journey of getting to there rather than the end goal and that’s what you’ve got to remember with Video games is just to enjoy what you’re doing rather than to overthink like like what’s the point in doing this all like what is the end goal it’s difficult from a content making perspective because you could be like right you want today like what we’re gonna do That’s the whole point that i’ve always done if i’m not enjoying something i simply don’t play it some people look me i know some youtubers who who force themselves to play games that they don’t like force themselves whereas i’d rather i’d rather take the time off have that passion and energy come back And then return to it which you know some people turn around and go oh but that’s just you giving up but it’s like no it’s just me looking after my mental health i don’t wanna i don’t wanna if i would have made the minecraft project every day Since i started it i’d want to shoot myself with a double barrel shotgun i’d go i’d go crazy if i had to do that whenever i think of stuff like that right i always think of it you know when they go inception and he goes and there’s just an empty city yeah You know that that’s the blessing and the curse with youtube and life of like you know it is about the journey that’s the one thing i’ve learned i’ve set myself so many different goals and accomplishments and through life that i’ve wanted to achieve of like i’m going To do this but then i’ve managed to do it and i’m like then what it’s a really really weird thing to wrap your head around unless you’ve got to that point of of actually kind of like achieving your dreams because you’ll always be striving for them But for that dream and i use it as an example with you know like actual real life anyway you know some people like you know oh you know i’m this relationship’s getting stale like now what i’m like should we have kids yeah okay we have kids All right now what well kid might need another kid like a uh you know a brother or sister let’s have another kid all right now what i got look after the kid kid grows up now what you know it’s constantly that thing it’s the story of you you don’t have to Get something out of doing something yeah like i just like the idea of of people saying that like games is a waste of time because i feel like so many people in in in the smallest of ways that they don’t even realize gaming has affected them you don’t feel like you’ve received Something for it like like for example a perfect example of this right is i’ve i spent like hundreds of hours uh on on playing call of duty to get good at the game yeah and if i did never if i’d never put that time into the game i never would have met you Oh like yeah if you think about it because like when i first played call of duty i sucked at it like i was really bad everything happened i put i put time into the game to get good at it to prove to my mates i didn’t Suck so you used to i used to be like guy you got bullied on um yeah i’m gonna get good at the game i got good at the game two model warfares later i meet you and like eight years later we’re still mates and i now work for you and have a Job out of it like and that was from playing cod that’s crazy and so like deck like deck with minecraft if it weren’t for deck doing minecraft uh and meet him on the plane and he messaged me like hey i was the guy who about the plane Like we never would have met we never had been friends no crazy it’s like like obviously what i’ve just said though like it’s like an extreme case right but i can also look back at times in card four when i used to play cotton ball mates and some of the best times I’ve ever had are just chilling out playing games with people yeah like and they’re just memories that you’ve created opposed to just getting something out of it that like which is why i never understood the whole like oh you just wasted so much time oh that’s like that’s like the joe rogan Argument everyone was talking about recently what it like you know playing games it’s such a waste of time and it’s like on one hand i get where he’s coming from because if you if you’re going to sit around and play games all day like right you Get the skill from it but say like you never play video games ever again after that what if you’ve got a show for it like for memories yes all right but if you were to put your time and effort into learning a language mate to put if i put 60 days playing time Into cod like into learning a language like i did cod 4 i’d be fluent in [ __ ] like german a summer oh yeah but instead i’ve got this right you get 60 days i get 60 days go away like 14 years time go away learn something i’ll come back Like i’d pull you in cod meanwhile this person’s traveling around [ __ ] germany traveling around germany i mean full-blown like conversations with people and when you put it like that it’s like oh my god yeah but i hate that you can waste your time no matter what it is this is my argument With that was this like well people watch tv for like five hours a day right and you can invest that five hours a day into something completely different like you could invest into learning how to dig the best hole like just you could do anything you wanted right there So yes some people just said oh i’m watching tv though don’t they i and i have fun it’s like you don’t have to be doing something i never understood this whole like massive target put on gaming when tv’s been around for years like for years people start watching football and stuff People just watch television and it’s just like well what have you gained from that and it’s like yeah you could watch like an educational program no different you could play an educational game education it’s just education yeah i know i’ve been to educate i’ve been i can’t speak i’ve been to educated I’ve played too many games that’s what it is um i changed this yeah 100 like that’s why i never i just don’t get the whole like oh if you play video games you’re wasting your life or watching other people play video games that’s even more with my [ __ ] Like why watch other people like hate that why do people watch you play play video games when they could just do it themselves it’s like all right why are you watching us play football and you can play football yourself and then they’re like oh my god i get it See i think the bottom line that it comes down to is like haters are gonna hate at the end of the day like my perspective on it is like if you love something do it like why do you care what someone else thinks you enjoy it i would much rather spend My whole life doing stuff that i enjoy so i can look back and think i’ve actually enjoyed my life then not do things because people are like people’s perspective perception of it is that it’s negative or it’s wrong or shouldn’t be doing something true definitely should always do stuff That you love to do yeah definitely oh we went so deep i like it yeah no i like it this is like um when we went to iceland did it like the conversations we were just having out there going so deep man beyond the depths yeah beyond the depths of Like wrapping your head around it when it was mint the only saying thing you we could possibly think of doing was making super noodles and geyser but the way the world is now it’s just like people keep asking me like when you go back to vlogging i’m like you do Understand that there is this like virus out there like i i i like pride myself on how many people have just traveled and stuff the concept of like like people have just like it doesn’t exist anymore just at the time i i always say i want to start up a podcast it’s just Every one of the mothers does one and i’m just like yeah like everyone of the mothers does have a podcast yeah but everyone on their mother’s plate this is my argument i’ve always had reviews it’s like everyone plays card like everyone plays minecraft it doesn’t it shouldn’t stop just because yeah Yeah that’s always that i will always say as a from a creative thing there as well that’s always yeah i’m getting rid of this that has always been one of the biggest things that’s held me back in my career is i always never wanted to do something Because like back in the day on youtube it was like if you did something similar to when i was like oh you copied that person like say like back in the day if you played happy wheels you were like you’re copying toby turner it’s like well no It’s a game like am i not supposed to play cod but like if someone else who was a cod guy who did multiplayer played zombies they’re like you’re copying syndicate and i’m like well no because i didn’t invent you know call of duty like what you’re on about your big dick I don’t work like that but people people have always got that mentality of like no you’re copying like always held me back because i didn’t want to copy other people when it comes to content the thing that i always say is that like it’s always going to be unique to a Certain degree because especially with a podcast for it because if i think if you were to do a podcast you’d be speaking about your views and your perspective perceptions on things which makes it unique to you yeah like if you follow that the stereotypical podcast of like interviewing people i think that’s Slightly different because like there are many podcasts that interview people right and then i think that’s a completely different talent and the ability to like understand and learn new people that you mean yeah everyone brings something different to the table so like you could see someone like for example ksi be on like Six different podcasts but each different podcast is a different experience you’re not watching the same podcast but yeah i definitely agree that you know you shouldn’t not not do something just because everyone does it yeah put your own magic twist on it your own magic twist eh magic ryan and his magic twist We’ve had this conversation a minute i’ve had this conversation with carl like if if me you and kyle will just sit down and talk for two hours man we all bring something so different to the table yeah and history-wise as well because we’ve all you’re like like as coronavirus it’s kind of like easing you know oh the lockdown is even though i’ve gone back into full lockdown i was starting To plan like oh i was gonna maybe go to dubai for an adventure and get back to vlogging and stuff uh just you know little holidays here and there and try and make the most of that not to abandon minecraft but to make sure i kept doing the my night mondays Because i just love that you got that once a week to look forward to and i know it’s story driven and i know people really like the building aspect of this series and like me playing minecraft as well but i’d like to just i’d like to mix it Up with like how we are messing around with the like the voxel sniping building that sort of stuff and doing a minecraft stream where we’re doing like a you know a game show or something if we were all to keep it in the my night World in this world that we’re in i’d be happy to do that because it keeps the the my knight fans entertained we can keep it that sort of related and i think overall like a game show would be sick so yeah yeah like yeah because it’s like What you don’t have to say like oh this is done now for us to then do a game show like doesn’t have to be that at all you can blend the two of them um and i think i think we’ll be excited with the game shows as well as getting different people on Oh yeah it’s so much fun there’s a big event we’ve got planned for maya night oh which i’m not gonna spar any details but i want to figure out a way of getting say like five or ten viewers in to watch it live yeah but i don’t know how that’s gonna Work at the moment but i’d just like i’d like to get that second level of interaction you know you can yeah yeah yeah then you know with a game show have an audience just people in like yeah that means that would be sick that would be sick And i have to get props to this because i yeah cause like i’ve always i’ve always sort of loved interacting with my twitch chat but like they’re like the minecraft live what’s like it’s it’s such a good example of i always wanted to use call of duty right Because call of duty had these amazing maps with like that you could use as sets and stuff like that but you could never like command control like the players like if you needed to move them or if someone was being a dick you couldn’t just kick them straight away or Something like that but like what’s been shown and i will give props for props you like mr beast is shown in a great example way how you can use minecraft as this set format for your audience like you know like like whether it’s a challenge it doesn’t have to be minecraft parkour But you can use it as a set and like with your ability deck to like you know make things like happen like we could do like minecraft deal or no deal and like someone could win a full gaming computer or something like that like that’d be sick or you know Like that door challenge where you’ve got to try and get through the last one like like takeshi’s castle like that that would be [ __ ] sick and like we get to invite our stream audience in to take part in it you know like or look your subscribers in the chat to Take part in it you know um and then give back to the viewers i think that’d just be so that’d be so cool and i i know i just need it to like 100 people start in takeshi’s castle but then only one wins at the end it’d be so good That that’s something we should we we should definitely do yeah i’ll brainstorm with you guys like properly like whether because it’s like maybe throughout this week uh how to incorporate playing with the viewers more and stuff like that because i think that’d be a really good thing for us to start doing whilst Whilst as you know lockdown for me has like gone back into effect so you know no traveling for me and back some people asking me questions of like when are you going where is great in manchester yeah i know where’s great manchester united oh yeah unfortunately great Manchester united is exactly where i am so is what it is right i’ll let you i’ll let you bounce mate uh i’m i’m gonna just a deck uh orion as well i’m just gonna keep talk to my this one that one there this one [ __ ] this one yeah one i think we have one Because because then as soon as we enter an exit we can just go up here and we’re straight there aren’t we then your house still going on it’s just that uh we didn’t continue the storyline today uh because captain spike Wasn’t in it it wasn’t on plus it i kind of needed that just to have a day where i felt motivated to play um and i got some stuff done so great this is looking absolutely amazing dead happy with that our island’s looking sick as well i need to Get rid of all those torches off the top of it and round the head off a little bit but i’m glad that we we’re deciding that we’re doing some stuff with over here we’re going to change this up i may actually you know see how i like With this land here i’ve like built it up on itself i may actually build this up and make like a higher top area to put some something over on and then like to wrap it around like a like a natural water bank from the seas rather than being a flat land because Like yeah look it literally looks like it’s just been drawn on but yeah my house has got some improvements finally i think tomorrow i’m going to do the improvements in here oh no i’m not here tomorrow i think next one i’m going to do improvements in here as well Even though we don’t like the smell everything and stuff like this like it just needs changing i need to completely renew the inside of the house because like sometimes i get carried away with like big projects like the volcano and then i forget my house whereas like Right now i don’t want to be doing a big project and we want to be working on what i’ve got already but guys this is looking absolutely amazing super stoked with it and i’m glad we got back to the building ferrari on
