Build where I had 1 hour to build something there’s not a lot of time I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist when I’m building especially in Minecraft so setting an hour time limit kind of forces me to actually get something done and I thought that could be a fun thing

To do on stream today so we had a couple of suggestions left over from the series that we never got to if we’re starting off nice and easy we had Squirtle lover 4255 suggested a nice house that’s simple it’s easy I can definitely do that but

Also I mean you know me I’m going to make it more complicated I think the fun thing to do in this situation is randomly roll some blocks and I’ve done this before I don’t even remember what video I did it for but I did a building video oh it was my

Subscriber special I randomly rolled a couple of the houses for that so I think I want a wood I want another block and then something random for a feature and those aren’t the only blocks I can use those are just the main features so let’s

Start with a wood what’s the best way to just get the woods I go planks that should yeah that incorporates every kind of wood so I’ve got 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 options in which case I’m going to roll

A 12-sided dice you know what if I get 12 I don’t get any wood let’s make it fair let’s keep it spicy welcome back we are building a house and we’re randomly generating the woods we’re going to use so I’m rolling now that there is a number three which oh no no no

No Birch is a great wood I won’t argue Birch planks and stripped Birch are great birch doors genuinely me and my husband were talking about this the other day if there was one thing I could take out of Minecraft it would be Birch do they are

Revolting so that’s fun we might have to make a house with no doors so then we need something else that is a block are all these colored blocks also in building blocks no so that makes things complicated you’re actually pretty good at building cool well I’m interested to see what you

Build um I mean yeah I’m not sure how I would say that but I’d like to so now I said I wanted just another kind of block so I’m just going to roll for column first or for row and then we’ll roll for something on that column and if there’s no blocks we

Can roll again I’ve picked up the wrong dice what we have here that is 81 I think that’s going to be too far but let’s find 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80 and then one down from here that is that is 81

So you know that is technically a block that yeah I guess I guess that’s technically a block so I’m going to roll a 10-sided dice again and if I get one through five I’m going to get one of those dead corals and if I get anything else I get

To roll again cuz those other ones aren blocks that’s a two that right there’s a two okay we’ve got Birch and Dead brain coral and I said I was going to do one other randomly generated something this one doesn’t have to be a block so it

Could be like a candle or a bed or a workstation or something okay I’m not kidding I rolled 81 again I think for the sake of Interest I am going to roll one one more time to make it something different that’s 10 I don’t know if you

Know how to read D and D dies but that definitely says 10 so got five 10’s that bottom row there so that’s all Mangrove stuff hopefully hopefully I can get a mangrove door hopefully I get a mangrove door which would be seven that’s a three I get mang

Stairs you know what that’s not the worst thing at least I can make some sort of fun roof or something I guess so let’s grab all of the Birch cool cool cool cool cool cool cool although technically if I’m being tricky I can use Mangrove stairs this way and

Make like a floor or something so don’t count it out yet as this being appalling but oh okay if we’re starting we got to start the timer cuz this is a quick build and we only have an hour I’m going to take this SI my

Tea and we’ll see if we can make a cute house using some awful blocks in an hour okay it’s going it’s going I’m going to start off with a fairly simple entry way cuz I do not want to waste too much time I’ll leave five blocks in

Between great and then I guess the Dead brain coral blocks are um the thing that’s going there question is can I get away with making this make sense as no door I don’t know if I can but you know we’re going to do our best and then

Actually what I’m going to do here is the timer isn’t moving on the screen hold on I think I can fix that uh but I am going to be wasting my precious time to do it so that’s fine I don’t need my my time there we go okay it’s working now thank

You for letting me know I haven’t done a timer on screen before and it did not work quite like I expected to okay so that’s kind of rad I want to put like Mangrove fences down there to tie this all together but I fully cannot do that I might even actually draw this

One lower we get to look at a little less of that Coral okay so that’s not bad in fact I’m going to put some Birch signs up just to add a little bit of texture through there okay that’s kind of cute glass we don’t have a glass option but I

Said we are allowed to use other blocks we just have to use those as the main these ones as the main base so I am going to use glass but I am going to force myself to use light gray glass cuz that’s what Blends in with this this incredible Choice we’ve made the

Best okay I okay everything’s fine this is cute this is cute okay you know what when might actually do is porch definitely needs a porch so we’re going to actually have to raise everything up so let’s do a cheeky SL SL wand and I know Scandal I’m doing this modded but it’s all

Stuff I could do manually if I had time so I think it’s fair game so all we need to do is SL slash oh let’s face the right way SL SL copy SL slash SL slash paste okay so I just moved it all up by

One which means we can put a porch at the front I’m kind of tempted to do it in the birch wood cuz we haven’t used it yet and I feel like I have to use it somewhere and oh boy do I not want to use it anywhere too interesting

No that looks Dreadful that is that is a nightmare and a mess other thing is we could do it as a little garden moment I think we’ll do it as a little garden moment but I will that down I’ve lost my mro stairs oh I can select them from up here it’s

I want to be able to get that Mangrove in as much as possible just sort of slapping things together so that I uh can get it on or it’s okay we can do we can do a stairs roof and it’s fine the world’s not going to explode it doesn’t look that bad

It’s stairs roof or Birch roof although honestly I’m looking at it now and I can’t I can’t do the stairs roof it’s a nightmare so we’re going Birch roof which is what we were going to do the whole time and no one can tell me otherwise because I just I need some

Slabs give me some beautiful beautiful slabs and I’ll be fine good as news there’s just one thing I need you to do on the rooftop you said that sorry you know sometimes you say a word and your brain’s like ah yes remember this song okay that’s obviously bad but it’s

Fine because we can fix it by making some of them stairs on the rooftop you said that a family looks out for each Other this is the most efficient way to do this one I’ll learn how to efficiently make rofes today is not that day then I’m thinking maybe if I put a ah can’t put stairs there that’s fine how’s that not great wondering whether I have to make these one stairs as

Well but that doesn’t work either either don’t like that the problem with building fast is there’s so much trial and error and I could absolutely I could cheese it by planning these things beforehand but where’s the fun in that I am wondering whether we do do that as

Stair that could work I’m not convinced yet but we’re going to go with that for now because we’ve already used up 10 minutes and um that’s a problem I was really hoping I could get a stair in under there actually I can do that and that

And I’m going to bring that whole thing one forward and make it a little nicer again just for that front Panel sorry if I’m not talking quite as much to in this as I normally do but um I’m on a time crunch okay so then we can come in here and do things like putting a couple slabs in there and chuing the slab on top it’s weird it’s too weird uh let’s

Try rotating those so we’ve got here is stair slab stair full full full which is a bit odd but I kind of respect it if I get one more slab in the bottom there doesn’t look better no something’s just a little off about it like I think it’s that corner there

Is bothering me and I don’t know how to fix it if I put a stair in there it’s better you know what we’re on a time crunch we’ll go with it okay we’re going to do some bone meal to get that beach root Rising okay I don’t mind that as that moment

Unfortunately we don’t have a lot to work with in terms of color my brain just shut down but we’re here we’re fine we’re good I’m going to try putting a birch door on that and see if the world caves in I fully expected to because I’ve used Birch draws before and I

Know okay that kind of that works I’ll I’ll allow that I definitely need a bunch of lanterns around if we’re going for cute house though lanterns there in there and maybe even some more in the cor or maybe not that’s fine too but what I can do is make little torch

Things and bring the porch around like that in which case I can pull those torch things all the way down okay we’re making up work we are making it work bring those down like that and then I think that’s going to be the front of the house and we’re going to have to

Have at least one bit going off to the side so let’s I’m going to try something spicy and it’s doing this for the walls is that seven that’s seven okay I think that’s good I don’t know if this texture is going to look terrible or kind of slay we’ll find

Out it kind of works it kind of works I’ll allow it I’ll allow it which means that’s going to be like that we’re going to have to do something funky for the roof probably that way roof which we may have to do with blocks cuz I don’t think

We’re going to do Birch for the whole roof I think that would look silly I I think that’s kind of cute especially if we put some windows in get that level is probably a good place for a window it’s odd it’s definitely odd but I think we make it

Work then I think this one’s not going to be too wide I think that one could almost be three wide and not cause any problems okay we’re already a quar of the way through our Time okay and then we’re making another wall sometimes I do these quick builds just from one angle when I say sometimes I mean I did that once and I felt bad about it so I’m never doing it again uh and that’s why we’re not doing that

Okay cute house means it doesn’t have to be huge so let’s have a look at this from the front see how we’re feeling I’m going to try a weird Coral roof and I think it’s going to be a terrible idea but I also think I have to try it especially cuz

That started on quite an angle so let’s actually start from this end we might have to do even three across before going up one two three and going up one two three which is a whole weird thing but let’s try it I think it’s going to look

Awful and we’re going to have to not do that but let’s have a look at it you know I can almost make it work in my head let’s do a couple more over the edge and see if we think it’s redeemable I really really want to say it’s

Redeemable but I really don’t know I really don’t know what do we think I’m going to go with it I’m going to go with it you think get something to it okay great good CU I just made a snap decision and decided we could make it

Work it’s going to look awful from the inside I’ve just realized but you know sometimes that’s what you got to do okay that’s something I don’t know if it’s something good but it is something it feels just a little too long I don’t know I don’t know if it’s

Just cuz it feels even maybe I need to put like a tower in the back corner which is a bunch of extra work that I wasn’t expecting but I think that might help three four five six seven8 nine 10 I usually like to do floors three

High so I should actually do it as a multiple of 12 which means we take it up to 12 um I think I’m going to do three and one just as a quick easy Circle this is not really what I was planning to do with this build but

Sometimes you just need to go for it and I can kind of make it look a little like a treehouse aesthetic which is honestly okay I’ve convinced myself I’ve brought myself around we can make this work let’s just check from the front that’s definitely looking cuter

But I’m going to raise it up one more level one two three 4 One Two Three 4 1 2 3 three 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 all right let’s do some more quick copying so from oh this corner to actually we don’t need to get that

Section in So to that corner then we’ll go SL SL copy SL slash rotate 90 and then I think if I go here that might work okay and then SL slash rotate 90 and then paste there I think it’s working I’m not sure let’s go make sure it’s working before we

Keep okay it’s working it’s working hell yeah I’m a genius SL slash paste I did it wrong I forgot to rotate it again it’s fine hold on I should also make sure I’m far enough forward okay great now we can get rid of these corners okay now we can put

In a roof and I’m going to have a whole big balcony on this level as well so that should inform the roof to some extent as well I think I’m just going to going to do a simple stair moment here we’re going to default two forward with these

Ones or I could wrap around I might do that just make it a little more cohesive cuz I don’t want those they’re just being bits of bits of wood sticking through that you can see we’re going to be a little more comprehensive with this bu bu bu

Maybe I should have done this before I copied It if I put one in here does that help much no no okay so now I need to put some more in what do I do here because I can only Mangrove stairs is the only kind of Mangrove I can use so I might need to get fancy up

Here and then do something like fence and a lightning rod that’s cute that’s cute that is certifiably cute and I’m going to put some lanterns on the corners and I’m also going to put some Birch fences under here for support but that means I’m going to need these to be

Stairs which is honestly very very cute I’m really happy with how this is looking at the moment okay let’s finish the exterior before we got hooked on the interior I am going to replace these bits with mangroo though I’m going to do it sneaky like this so it just looks flat from there

Okay so what we just need to do is kind of connect up this corner and I suppose the thing that makes sense to do here is to just sort of continue this whatever absolute nonsense we got going on here and I’m going to keep these side bues here cuz I want the

Window to have a side so we’re just going to have this area be wider for no known reason other than Aesthetics but we can pretend it’s for a practical reason once we work out what that practical reason is check those under there that’s cute make a little

Window and then have this roof continue along no not like that like that okay great so now we just need to work out what’s going on with the back here I do kind of like pushing this out to there is so it’s a little more just to

Sort of keep those sections distinct I can get my words out especially CU it’s beautifully kind of dissected into this just back little third bit let’s repair this in a way that makes it cute something like that so I wouldn’t mind using stairs there I don’t know

Why just feels right so I can stick a slab in there it looks terrible but what if I do stairs this way still looks strange but I think it’s better why’ you have to go and make things so complicated I see the way you’re like somebody else get me

Frustrated that’s cute I I can convince myself that’s cute I’ve changed my mind I can’t convince myself that’s cute we’ll go with that I mean what did I do with the front here I did a full block and then one with a stair under it so maybe that’s what I’m needing and

Then those ones are also yeah full block so that’s what I have on the front you know what I don’t hate it it’ be nice if I could bring it in front of that pillar just to sort of have both sides maybe I maybe I can do

That I need to get the Birch stairs again cuz I’m a nightmare of a person that just loses everything yeah that’s cute that’s cute even though this doesn’t continue all the way out there I think it’s cute and I can do something weird like have this pillar coming

Down but slabs but slabs every time the slabs get me no I’ve done that in the wrong place trying to work if there’s a way I can make the slabs work like I could put another slab under there but that would look silly you know what I think that’s best we’re

Going to get I think that’s best we’re going to get so let’s oh I need to plug plug up this hole as well this is going to be very strange on the inside if I get time for the interior that’s the thing I never said I

Was going to do an interior so I don’t owe it to you if I get time I’d love to do one but if I don’t then I haven’t failed oh okay I’m going to to put a floor in here and I think Birch is going to be be the way to do

It it’s the easy answer but it’s also the correct one I’m at least going to put a floor in okay okay we’ve still got over half an hour left so I think we will have time to do a cute interior which is great news that’s a problem going have to move

That window up and hope it doesn’t mess make it too messy let’s have a look on the outside I was coming here to get the door I get distracted very easily I don’t know if you’ve noticed I think that works if we do this yeah this side’s actually really

Cute this might be my favorite part of the build at the moment okay door I think I am going to put this door here and make this a down section if I have kind kind of up here and then this section is lower I don’t hate that that’s on backwards I always like

To have my doors so that when you’re walking in you use the right hand and I know it doesn’t actually make that much difference in Minecraft but it’s important to me I’m also going to put a window in I’m trying to work out how high it should be I think three

High is two much let’s see what happens if I put a stair in there and a stair there and then a window that seems crazy cuz the footprint for one window hole Yeah know that looks awful I think that works if I pull out my secret secret tool that half the time

Soles it R and half the time makes it work I think in this case I can find the texture of that uh Coral that’s going to do me some favors I’m kind of tempted now though just looking at this to put this pillar in here I think that’s kind of a cute

Choice which means then I can do that which is a little weird but less weird or even I could be spicy and have it going up like that I think is even better yeah that’s cute that’s cute okay so we’re going need to add a bunch more windows I think is our next

Thing let’s make that stairs I’m always tempted to have that be a big window and you know what let’s just have it be a big window there’s no such thing as too much windows I need to work out what I’m doing that space before I work out what the window

Situation there looks like I punch through there yeah I can’t get in like that so if I’m putting another doorway in here I can do that I don’t even need to make it a full door moment I could try and make a second level up there and I still might but I

Think with the amount of space we have we don’t need to like I am a fan of making a cute little loft bed moment and the more I talk about it the more I’m convincing myself I want to so let’s try it do a uh something like

That and then get a ladder we’re going to have to use ladders in here because of the size there’s not really space for stairs I put a ladder up there and I put a little bed up there that’s cute but it feels a little claustrophobic coming in so I think

That’s actually not going to be the right choice choice I think that’s just give you a cute shelf okay let’s continue with the bir in here and I said I wanted three high with floors so let’s see if I did my math right two three I did

Fantastic uh we are definitely going to have to have a ladder in here I think it makes more sense to have it up the back and I think this is primarily going to be a storage area cuz that’s one of the things that a bunch of height can be really good for in

Minecraft I think you can get up the ladder like that hold on let’s test it yes okay don’t need to take it any higher than that I could replace some of these with trap doors but I’m going to avoid using any sort of birch door as much as I

Can because I have taste unlike whoever invented bird strap doors and then we’re going to want a bunch of Windows in here and I’m wondering if I just do that on every level if that’s silly that I yeah doesn’t do anything so I can’t put one there we can make that work

Aesthetically and if I go there and there that one kind of barely works so I might take that one out for now and then there I think that one will work and there and there and there and here we can even do one there but I don’t think

We will CU we don’t want to see the window from here I don’t like that there’s nothing going on on the back here so even though we’re having ladders we might need to do windows anyway which means I’m going to have to replace a bunch of those ladders

And obviously it doesn’t look great yet but it will in which case I do think I actually do want that window and we’re just going to make it work we’re just going to make it work now who remembers what I said like 2 minutes ago about the fact that I am absolutely

Not going to use Birch trap doors under any circumstances I’m going get some bird strap doors right now you know how much I love trrap doors and if these are the only ones I can get I’m still going to use them just as a little window sill moment they add so

Much like look how much better that looks already obviously it still needs a little bit of finessing but it looks so much better already I want to put vines in but I also kind of hate Vines so I might not I’m not VI being having the windows

On this side so I’m going to take those ones out I definitely need some sort of Vine moment oh I said I was going to do Treehouse M with this so let’s get some Birch leaves that’s still in the Birch family I’m allowed to use those let’s just sort of do some

Decorating I’ve mentioned this in one of my other quick build videos but vins are so flat I kind of hate them but when you can do little things like just placing a bunch of leaves around it adds so much life especially something like this which is so obviously based off a

Tree uses a bunch of wood gives that a really beautiful amount of Dimension use it to frame the moments you have you don’t want to be covering too much up you just sort of like frame that balcony like that beautiful have a little Bush thing up

Here see how this looks so much better than it would have if I had used Vines oh I wanted to grab the glow L put it back there thank you okay let’s have a spin around obviously we need to pull this through here it’s kind of giving Italian Villa

Vibes now and I don’t know why okay so this needs that to come down a little further a little too Central only okay so that side’s cute that side’s cute okay I oh need a little more here a little under here okay so I think that Tower although

See the problem is once you start placing these you have to have the self control then we just stop that’s something I’m still working on cuz I’m like wouldn’t it look cute if there was a bunch on the top there not that much though that kind of top right

Corner is something a little sharp so let’s take a couple of those off okay I think if I do that it needs to hang down a bit look like maybe it’s grown up from somewhere give a little more substance there that’s gorgeous okay the tower is great I’m very happy with the

Tower but now it’s putting everything else to shame a little bit what do I do to make the rest pretty you know let’s let’s go I still love this section the back’s cute this section I would love some more windows but I said I was going to do

That depending on what I put in there this section I think is overhanging too much and I hope that doesn’t ruin what it looks like from here no it actually makes it better the front of this just needs a little more love and I’m trying to work out how to give it that

So let’s just scroll through the blocks and see if any inspiration strikes as always you’re welcome to give me ideas if you’ve got them because mean chuing some hay bales around never does any wrong let’s try choing some hay bales around okay I like that don’t like that quite as much feels a

Little too deliberately placed try and put in a bit that kind of works I think we need a path my top tip for making an interesting looking path is to just hold the path button and walk away you want it to go so and then do it again oh well I

Accidentally did it flying so let’s go back to here then kind of fill in some gaps if it needs it but that gives you sort of that natural looking path Vibe now what I’m going to need is a bunch of bone meal just sort of fill in the

Space then I like how bur looks but the tall grass was a little too overgrown for a garden so I’ll just go around and punch the to Glass you can do that by just holding the punch button at eye level and it’ll only get those all boys

Cuz you know me I like my fellow’s short okay I think we’re good on the outside we’ve got 20 minutes left so if we want to get the inside done we got to go now I’m saying this area is probably going to be mostly storage is it big

Enough to fit an in no not big enough for enchanting so let’s just start by slamming a bunch of storage in and you’re thinking Talia that space is going to be wasted what have you done it’s not ye of little faith and I know I’m not putting these

All in the same way but I’m kind of vibing it anyway and then this space we’ll do something different with cuz it’s pretty but for here what we’re going to do Chu down some IR stands so we’re going to do the first one is our like Helter Skelter I got a bunch of

Things but it’s not a full set of anything and then the bottom one’s going to be our regular armor which is going to be our netherite these little details that tell the story make it feel like an actual oh we’ve got an achievement there I feel like I really earned

That okay so we’ve got those like that and all that storage we’ve got those Weir Windows here so let’s put some actually lanterns are probably going to be better I was going to say put some pot plants although we’ve got space for lanterns above the above the armor St we might do that

And then also do some pot plants what a good flowers let’s just use the ones we have outside cuz again we’re continuing that story of this being a real place let’s go down in this one I’m going to put a lantern cuz that’s going to be the only place to put a lantern

Then we’ll go up and we’ll put a lantern up there and a little pot plant there this next one putting a lantern up there a couple of pot plants Grand then so up here because I’m obviously is there anyone downstairs that has room for an enchanting area otherwise I might have caused myself

Some trouble I might be able to squeeze one in here but it’ll be tight let’s find out I genuinely don’t know whether I will or not but let’s give it a go so we would need to have books there those won’t do anything but yeah I’ve got a feel this isn’t going to

Work if I do that that’s nowhere near enough I could try and push an area out of it or I could try and make another level I’m wondering whether I can fit that in the top room now cuz I think that’s got a little more space if I put the enchanting

Table here then I go book book book book book book well those AR going to do anything yeah that’s not going to work either I need to remember to plan spaces for an enchanting room so I guess this build’s just not going to have any enchanting room which means up here we

Can actually decorate as a recreational space so I might even put some bookshelves up here and then put a little we chair Moment Like a recliner sit up here read a book I hate it actually let’s turn it into a I want to make it a cou but if I do

That then you can’t get up so I might do like a little corner couch moment then move those could I have the bookshelf up there maybe that kind of works especially if I put a door there this can be our little uh our cute little Reading

Area then I might even put those there I don’t know why I just think they look cute okay great Tower’s done and I’ve still got 13 minutes I’m actually feeling great about this uh which means we’re going to have lots of time to stress over making a

Nice down here I don’t want to waste as just a little corridor so we could put a little crafting station there so let’s get Crafting Table an anvil a grindstone and a bunch of furnaces I think that’s kind of everything you need need crafting table there Ville

Grindstone I could even put the furnaces up here I was going to make it a cute shelf but I think that kind of works and that means I could even put the Anvil on the grindstone there and put the crafting table there it’s a little weird I think it’s a

Little too weird but I think we can make it work if I do that then move that up I don’t like having the crafting table there but I’ll put the grindstone there and put the crafting table somewhere else yeah that’ll do and the crafting table theoretically I could put up there

But it’s going to be hard to reach so I might put it somewhere more accessible I could even put it there sort of blend it in I think if I put it there I can build something here that that makes it suit okay we’ll go with

That so you can come in you can do all your smelting and crafting here you can go up to all your storage and you can hang out up here great so the main thing we need now is a it’s very hard to get through this

Door but it’s fine it’s a it’s a skill challenge it’s intentional I think what we need now is a bedroom and the fact we’re doing so well at the moment I think means we can make it quite a cute bedroom so I’m going to start by making this a little

Tree which seems like a crazy thing to do and it is it’s going to give us a cute little bit of privacy and kind of make that crafting table look like an aesthetic choice though I’m wondering whether I should use the unstripped bird for it yeah that is

Better and then bed what sort of bed I think if we’re sticking with a theme we got to go with a light gray bed which is not the best thing in the world but it’s fine and then I like to use barrels as bedside tables it’s not a revolutionary thing

But they are very cute and then we can do something like an end rod for a lamp I would like to try something and I think I’ve tried it before and it hasn’t worked but if I could put an item frame on top of an endrod that would open a

Lot of possibilities for me no I’m just fully not allowed to that’s rude I would like to be able to put that there but I guess not so I want something that can go on there maybe a Wither Skull just to make it look a little more
