Last episode we braved the heat of the desert and brought some life and i dare say class to one of minecraft’s most humble biomes today we turn our eyes to the var boulder jungle let’s see if we can convert this diverse and lively biome from blocks into bricks The jungle is dominated by greens and browns thankfully lego has quite a number of green colors a number of which we’ll be incorporating in this build one thing i think that is really cool is that we will be able to use biome colors the jungle is the most vibrant biome in The game so i think it makes sense that we use bright green for the grass in the future i can use olive green for the savannah biome dark green for the swamp and sand green for the tiger biome this opens up a lot of possibilities but bright green is just such a perfect Match here on top for tall grass i’ll use the regular three-pronged flower stem i mean how could we not have bamboo in this build that means we’ll need some pods as well we’re gonna stick pretty basic with this one just making it purely reddish brown this is actually The same exact block we’ll be using for the jungle logs as well but of course more than anything else there are leaves lots of leaves the leaf is rather noisy texture so i wanted to make a rather noisy looking lego version of it so i’ve incorporated these old flower pieces Along with a bunch of plates to recreate the leaf block last but most certainly not least is the melon and while it’s a full block in the game i think lego’s solution is too good not to use it’s simply a printed player head in lime green surprisingly this piece remains Exclusive to a 2018 set called the melon farm which is honestly one of the best lego minecraft sets ever made before we even get to the train let’s build up a tree of course the small jungle trees have cocoa beans on them that we want to make as well It’s just a travis brick surrounded by one by one dark orange tiles i’m gonna try my best to make this tree smooth as possible on all sides including the bottom that means there’s gonna be a lot of snot construction going on here it takes what would have been a really Simple build and brings a whole level of elegance to it kind of like what we did with the desert well again i’ll sprinkle these flower pieces throughout the tree to give it a little bit more texture obviously this technique is incredibly resource intensive but i do think the Unique look is worth it over say having done just green bricks the texture does add a lot it makes it feel more like a leaf otherwise i feel like these could be just green clay or green wool now we need to do vines vines of course are Another important part of the jungle and i’m actually going to stick to lego’s technique that they use in the sets for this using a bunch of these 2×2 corner bricks in green in setting the vines just slightly into the block behind them it gives them the appearance that they Aren’t as thick as they otherwise would need to be and therefore mirrors the game a little better i’ll tile off the sides and use jumpers as well which also again supply some additional texture rather than just using straight up two by two green tiles everywhere and believe it or not that’s probably the Hardest part of this build done unless we want to make a huge jungle tree and realistically mirroring the same techniques we used here we can do that it uses the same blocks and textures just a much larger scale on the large jungle tree i’ve also used snot construction to add vines climbing up The side of the tree as well but let’s not get too carried away and get back to the terrain we’re going to use the same format as we did with the desert module 16 by 16 studs or the equivalent of 8×8 blocks in the game we’ll be using reddish brown for dirt Underneath all of this and of course we’ll leave those pin holes on the side just in case we want to attach this to future modules we’ll use bright green tiles and 2×2 jumpers for the surface to really sell that vibrant jungle look i’m using more jumpers than 2×2 tiles just because we Can top these with bamboo and tall grass when working with reddish brown of course be very careful as a lot of the parts produced in the early 2010s are extremely brittle so you’ll want to be extra careful especially when removing these things and it’s it’s really easy to knock the ends off them So you’ll notice i’m leaving a pretty big open section right there that is where our large jungle tree is going to go i’ve already made it and the way i’ve made it means that it has a huge technic root system underneath it so it doesn’t fall over having it built into the Terrain makes it extra secure because you can see it’s a pretty big tree with the terrain coming along pretty nicely i’m gonna put some bushes on the jungle floor i’m utilizing the same techniques as i did for the trees except this time all studs facing straight up these will Break up the ground a little bit more and add some contrast there’s just a few more plates and jumpers to go and then we can add the last details on the jungle floor the plan is to have a patch of bamboo going up the middle here that’s what the dirt Slash podzilla is for all these exposed jumpers make it super easy to add in tall grass which of course is found all over the jungle we also have to add that melon in here too look at that this is starting to look really nice for the bamboo i’m going to use a Slightly modified version of the design lego introduced in the panda nursery set instead of dark tan i’ve substituted that color for yellowish green i feel that’s a little more accurate to the game where the rings are lighter than the stock itself and at the top i’m going to use these Lime green leaf pieces as they look a little more organic we’ll also top this off with a 1×1 tile basically i’m going to replicate this design again and again make as much bamboo as i can and we’ll have ourselves a really nice bamboo forest unfortunately i ran a little low on the 1×1 lime green bricks of all things so my bamboo forest is pretty short but this will be easy to expand in the future with that the terrain is done that means we can start adding some animals the animals of course provide great color and the first one is the panda a Relatively new mold for lego and a relatively new mob in the game this was only included in one set again that was the panda nursery and you can still find it on some store shelves it’s no minecraft jungle without the og minecraft jungle mob the ocelot this Lego mob has been included in two sets the og jungle treehouse and also the newish panda nursery as well and of course we have parrots it actually has been apparent mob made as well it’s been included in one set which is the pirate ship adventure from 2019 combining my desert module with my Jungle module at least something to be desired the contrast is pretty harsh but these biomes do end up next to each other in the game to make that transition just a bit more natural i made another module as well to bridge the gap of course i had to have that Small jungle tree in here too with the cocoa beans i really had no idea how huge jungle trees were until i started building them in lego they completely dwarfed that desert well made in the previous module and they really make that small jungle tree look puny overall This was a really fun biome to do and a great contrast when compared with the desert if there’s any biome or structure you’d like to see me do next please comment down below thank you very much for taking the time to watch this i’ll be back with another episode of this Series very soon and until then have a great life Video Information

After faithfully recreating the Minecraft desert biome in LEGO, it’s time for a completely different location – the jungle! LEGO has produced a few jungle related sets including The Panda Nursery, The Jungle Tree House, Jungle Temple, and The Modern Treehouse, but none have combined all the best parts of the jungle into one build. With melons, cocoa beans, bamboo, pandas, ocelots, and parrots, how much jungle can we fit in a 16×16 studded area? Let’s find out!
