The Diamond Beacon: Hardcore Minecraft Day 200+!

so we’re going to be having a chill stream tonight because I’m tired oh I’m not even on the right Minecraft right now very prepared look at this uh so here’s a little bit of a teaser for the next Redstone Showcase Video I guess uh you got all these lovely different worlds the the number is the the submission number we’re nearly at 100 submissions so the Redstone Showcase Video will be out probably sometime next week I just got to edit it down but yeah it’s basically all recorded now a couple things from part one will be included as well so if you weren’t in part one but you submitted for it then you might be in uh in part two so that’s cool but yeah there’s there’s a bunch of different things really really cool stuff can’t wait for you guys to see that video but let’s uh restart of time and effort into editing that it was kind of a mess of recording and somehow he salvaged that into a very good video so it’s like a 40 minute video it’s great we had so much fun playing that uh that was recorded a little while ago I have my footage as well uh I don’t know if I’m going to edit that down I have so much footage in the pipeline right now I just yeah I wish I had the money to hire an editor right now because I got so much stuff to edit I got uh let’s see I got two of the cursed mob videos so I got the cursed items and cursed Blocks videos that I got added down I got the 100 days video that I got to edit down I got um I got oh there’s another one there’s the Redstone Showcase Video I got a lot of stuff to edit down right now do we have spare shocker boxes right now cuz we’re going to be doing some mining this is going to be good we got 49 Diamond store name right now there’s 10 ex RA in here that’s another block look at that one more block for the beacon Gods very good and then we can use these extra shulkers right here the modded corellian YT 1300 will be our box of choice for tonight’s stream a Bo a goat horn Farm I almost said boat horn Farm day 213 very nice I like it do we have everything that we need for a mining session oh I forgot to grab food food sounds mildly important some people like to eat sometimes personally I don’t know what the fuss is about I’m I’m a pigman though so I guess I don’t really count too much for that uh we got the elyra on yeah okay yay yippe he we didn’t take damage that time uh you know I’m actually going to light up this area real quick and then since we’re going to be going down that thing a whole bunch we should probably make ourselves a nice little pillar oh my God instant mine I forgot we had that so excited oh you could just barely see the beacon it’s great why is there a grass you know what I ain’t got time to investigate that Bel update yeah Bo update we need it it would actually be really cool if you could put like little horns on on the boat like little little Viking ships that would be that would be kind of cool uh you know what let’s start off the stream with a bang let’s go ahead and check out this little M shaft cuz I have not actually actually explored this one and I don’t want to I I don’t want to explore it yeah I think that’s enough exploring for today have we explored this one I don’t think we have is there really like three M shafts right underneath the base that’s crazy uh will banon action still work uh yes I just need to see it you guys got to got to ping me when you do that in the chat okay there’s a there’s a lra band I see that now uh so I guess we will not be flying down the tunnel cuz that would kill me I actually really like what hermercraft has done with the custom goat horns I don’t know if we can do that on Bedrock I imagine we probably can uh there’s probably like you can probably swap that out with a texture pack but you would have to uh replace one of the vanilla sounds I imagine like that that’s probably super easy you just get the goat horn sound and you replace that with a texture pack right uh but they’re adding like new horns I believe CU Coman said something about like a 100 extra horn sounds and that’s just that’s too many that is too many or actually you know what I changed my mind that is not enough okay is there anything interesting this m shaft I was hoping for a couple more things of interest but oh we have been to parts of this it was just a really large M shaft okay I didn’t take the name tag or the bread what kind of Minecrafter even am I an ooo go horn we need it it’s got to happen obviously I do wish they were a bit easier to get in survival um because I don’t actually know how to how to get them is it just random from the goat do you just Farm it with a goat and then they drop a random one cuz I know you can get the uh the one from The Outpost right what did did you see that bro jumped over me I jumping spiders he went right over me I’ve never seen that before okay am I tripping I might be tripping but that guy was tripping too okay I think we’ve yeah we’ve been over here at least okay so there’s a spawner we don’t want that that’s 100% normal I don’t I don’t believe you if it’s 100% normal I I think I would have noticed that one of these days playing the silly block game yeah they’re definitely like modding uh because they they got a lot of like modded stuff this season they got the the music discs they got the goil horns they got the The Hermit permits from Kermit yeah they got a lot of a lot of fancy stuff they’ve been getting slightly more modded like every season I mean it’s still pretty vanilla stuff like don’t get me wrong it’s just not like vanilla vanilla it’s like vanilla kind of kind of plus a little bit vanilla plus minus a little bit but they they’ve been doing that for a while like even since like season 4 they’ve had you know custom player heads and stuff it’s just the perks of playing on Java basically uh right then where is our end chest so we need to get a full diamond Beacon that is essentially my goal for the world right now we’re not going to work on it like all the time it’s going to be a little bit of a off andon project but I figure you know we can to have a chill stream tonight not vanilla it’s Manila isn’t that like a cookie brand last stream we we pregu I I definitely want this to be brighter though I really do need like an extra bright ultra bright pack because I have Foxy’s brightness pack on right now maybe I need to raise that up a little bit maybe that needs to be on the very top also one of these days can we please be able to change our texture packs while inside the world that would be amazing thank you Java can do that just be just be great yeah the little Wafers aren’t that good are they I mean they’re okay I think the last time I had those I was literally like three wow that’s a long time ago I’m I’m an old man now I’m old man oh that that broke my uh texture pack for the totems didn’t it okay maybe we won’t go that far this way cuz it’s uh not working out that well for us immediately I just want diamonds Minecraft I just want diamonds is it so much to ask to get diamonds just give me lots and lots of diamonds for very little effort I want this to be 1.7 where everything was diamonds all the time and we get hardcore and Bedrock it’s a very complicated process so basically when you die you delete the world and you stop playing I know it’s revolutionary no one’s ever thought of doing this than 250 blocks so I think that this diamond mining stream is off to an amazing start any any thoughts any criticisms any possible critiques heyo there we go there’s some diamonds okay keep your probably had no sugar today anyway okay we’ve gotten 500 blocks and we found that one little thing of diamonds back there we got seven from it which actually not too bad not too bad at all not too bad at all but the the amount of red some we’re going to get from this is going to be wild I should mine on the sub chunk y does that matter just sub chunk matter cuz that would be like uh 48 wouldn’t it CU that would that would put you on a sub Chunk we could also do chunk borders as well that would probably be a good way to go I need to get another armor stand for that maybe we’ll do a little bit of caving too yeah I think chunk borders is really the way to go we’re we’re not getting anything from this right now well we’ll go to 500 let’s give it another 100 blocks see what it does for us so far we found like one patch of diamonds it was probably an eight though so I mean it’s not not that bad deep dark caving is your favorite deep dark actually does have a lot of diamonds like every time I go to an ancient city I find like at least one to five different diamond ores it’s pretty good actually you know high risk but decent reward we’re going to get so many building blocks for this as well I don’t know what we’re going to do with all of these deep slates that we’re going to have but I guess we should like build something I don’t know that’s that’s a crazy concept concept I’ve never done that before but we’ll see we’ll see you silence luck I know I mean who who else is this unlucky when it comes to it comes to getting diamonds can I run and mine this oh I kind of can getting the tool breaks out there cheese I’ll have you know this pickaxe has not giving us that many diamonds so if it breaks the the next oh no we’re still in silk touch one no wonder it’s not giv us very many diamonds jeez we’re going have to burn all that deep site that we just mind we’ll get this at some point I do want to build a gold Farm I think that’ll probably be the next farm that we build uh just like a nice little portal ticking gold farm and maybe like uh four portals I think that’ll be a good way good way to do things cuz I saw one in the uh the on showcase I was like dang these things crank out the Pigman like I know double portals are pretty solid but four portals is like twice as many portals you get like twice as many pigment it’s just crazy who would who would have thought doubling your portals doubles your output maybe we’ll go crazy and we’ll do like 16 portals now that would be wild you do got to watch out though because those things can kind of break your world so you don’t you don’t want to go overboard with them like I think the max that I would do is probably eight cuz four was already given a ton of pigment like it it was filling up the water streams it was it was a ton of Pigmen eight is probably a you know a good amount of mobs it’s going to take you a minute to kill those guys I need a lot of Dron Killers gu six portals yeah yeah you want to be careful you don’t want to like overflow your world Java has an interesting weird little mechanic where you can only pick up a certain amount of experience so like you’re limited there’s actually a cap it it’ll just keep circling around you did we mine this one I don’t know if this is the one that we mind or if there’s going to be more you know what hold on let’s poke around this a little bit more there is nothing else here that was the one well that’s sad that wasn’t very many diamonds that was like four ore which is not enough ore yeah I need like a thousand diamond ore I think that I think that would be enough a a small a small loan of a th000 diamond ore not a big deal wow I can’t believe we went like 750 blocks got one diamond this game is stingy nowadays they finally gave diamonds a use though I mean you can spend them on Armor trim all day so expensive the armor Trims and netherite got really expensive too it was kind of ridiculous but for like the longest time diamonds were kind of kind of useless in Minecraft cuz you could just trade for diamond armor right so there’s no reason to have it for that and then it’s really just a currency at that point but if you’re playing single player that’s not very helpful so it’s really just like a flex okay we’re going to have to pick up the pace if we want to get a diamond Beacon because we got 16 diamonds from that I have a ban is it no- breaking blocks yeah it’s no breaking blocks weather crafter how how dare you what did I ever do to you oh I broke a block well I guess I’ll restore the that was uh instinctive I can’t pick up this water source now so it didn’t it didn’t even do me any good for some reason you can’t pick up the water source when it’s at the same level as you or above you cool this is this is great twice the lava no unacceptable I guess this perfectly balanced though uh so we’re playing hardcore by using silk touch on deep slate unacceptable okay finally some diamonds yeah so basically if we die in this world we uh we delete the world that’s that’s how it goes that’s all it is only one diamonds that’s not very many diamonds guys I guess we’ll mine all the way to like 1,500 and we’ll we’ll see if this is any better I’m playing hardcore by dying when I die yeah I mean that bet tracks that that works yeah so far we’re on like day 200 right now now so we’re we’re doing pretty decent we don’t have like much infrastructure or builds right now because we prioritized uh achievements like the first 100 days now man I only play this on on Stream So you you’ll know when I die we have come close a couple times we’ve come close a couple times fighting the dragon we nearly got destroyed by some some Enderman and the the Bedrock re Regen eration rate is just horrific it’s bad we definitely need the new regen rate if they’re going to be adding hardcore for Real’s so hopefully we’ll see that soon uh oh more diamonds finally that’s twice as many diamonds as we’ve found in the other one so I guess I guess it’s true what they say about chunk bers and then we we nearly drowned we were on half a heart when we were in the ocean Monument but I clutched that we we did have a totem for that technically I think but still I I don’t really like count the totems like if we pop a totem I kind of consider that as a failure as a bomb rigged to Minecraft under my table yeah that’s that’s how we I’m not playing in the beta so that was that was productive guess I probably should have read the thing first though I mean you know it’s probably it’s probably my fault probably what are we doing we this one I’ll I’ll probably use world edit to like turn it into actual hardcore mode because that’s that’s a thing you can do it’s just like changing a little a little value in the world settings so these are great I love these I I think that these oh they do flow down sometimes you’ll find that these are floating in your world and as long as you don’t update them they’ll uh they’ll stay put it’s or uh animation they’re they’re killing it with spiderverse movies amazing yeah just give it to them just just let them make an animated movie or like give it to uh who makes the Minion movies is that why they would go live action but like obviously the Barbie movie did very well um but I think part of that success is because of Oppenheimer as well like those two really propped each other up it was It was kind of crazy start off as just like a meme and then it just kind of blew up into this like double feature because they released on the same day right it’s still a decent movie too but that’s got to be what they’re going for because that was liveaction in like a weird toy World which works for Barbie but Minecraft is like a virtual game right so it lends itself to animation much better than it would you know live action is what I’m trying to say now have you guys seen the the trailers that they always make for like the the updates like the trails and tales trailers those guys know how to do some Minecraft animation those trailers are always so good good honestly just give it to them just let them make the Minecraft movie they would know how to do it and it would be great it’ probably take him like five years but the movie was already announced in like 2011 so I mean you know they would have been done by now we’ve already gotten the sequel it would have been better than the original cuz Minecraft 2 everybody the the trailers are really good like gu I really like him the the whole team behind that I don’t know exactly who it is but whoever’s doing that they’re crushing it A+ s tier trailers like it’s got It’s got all the right Minecraft themes in it it’s cute it’s dorky it’s adorable it’s a little bit cringey just just a little bit in all the best areas and it doesn’t break like Minecraft physics MC has been putting out a lot of shorts lately yeah they created a new Tik Tok account or I guess not new anymore I followed that and then they started posting like a bunch of they’re basically just like little meme shorts um I guess it makes sense I mean Minecraft’s like the biggest video game and it uh makes sense to have content from it but it’s just kind of weird the stuff they’re putting out I mean it makes sense the Minecraft monthly and the that looked like a thousand lapis it looked like a thousand lapis yeah it makes sense foring to put out some content but it seems kind of weird the stuff they’ve been put out I don’t know I I haven’t really watched any of it because it’s like not what I’m not what I’m into I don’t know I mean it seems to be working out though all their Tik toks get like a million views so what do I know right I mean I I want a million views in all my Tik toks Tik Tok is so weird though like H it’s stupid like I’ll upload four but like these are these are like 100 hour games so call Fallout 76 a game yeah I mean it got it was a really rough launch um but I do think they they kind of you know fixed it it it got better it got better I played it a little bit uh the other well I guess that was like six months ago I played a few hours of it um you know it takes it takes a while to get into into games I think if you had a friend to play with it would be a lot better or if you know someone that has been playing it for a while already and they can help you get into it that would probably also help a lot too because it’s it’s like an online kind of deal it took me a minute to like figure out the controls for Base building and stuff yeah I put a lot of time into Fallout 4 to I 100% of that I went back to it a while ago got my old Xbox save 100% of it every single achievement even that stupid 100,000 NCA World tickets oh my God that took like an hour or no that three hours that was stupid if you need a friend to enjoy the game there the friend you like not the game well shoot I guess I don’t like Minecraft uh let’s see yeah we need we need Diamond guesses I throw away all of our diamonds I must have really good though I actually really enjoyed Fallout 4 like any Fallout game it takes a minute to get into it you know you got to give yourself some time to get immersed like I I tried to play The we’re going to build a gold Farm uh that should be pretty easy gold farmer give us gold I just want to build one I want to build like a four portal one and just see the Reigns of Pigman and then at some point I also want to decorate the guardian Farm area oh I still need to go AFK at the raid Farm as well just for emeralds just need to get a bunch of emeralds because we have like no emeralds and I don’t really want to like you know do a ton of training it just takes so long you know how’s our chicken farm doing it’s doing better than the iron farm why do we only have 30 iron that seems like we should have more no 121 is not out yet I don’t have any of the experiments or anything this is basically as vanilla as you can get it yeah no experiments so yeah it’s it’s coming long it’s coming long uh definitely seems like we’re not going to die anytime soon so that’s cool unless there’s like some freak accident I mean we fought the dragon the Wither the bastions the ancient cities unless we like specifically go out of our way to try and do something stupid or I do something stupid in general then yeah we should be we should be pretty chill we just need to get some more infrastructure
