This is the ultimate mining guide for Minecraft 1.20 I will be covering the best places to mine for oars as well as some of the best mining techniques so without further Ado let’s get into it before we get ahead of ourselves when I say y level I’m referring to the second Coordinate in your position I’m going to have the ore distribution chart on screen right now keep in mind that the best y levels for each of these ore are different and I’m gonna put those up on the screen whoa what are you doing the video’s not over yet I’m sure that many Of you guys clicked on this video to find the best way to mine diamonds so that is exactly what I’m going to show you now I have two methods the first mining method requires you to reach y level negative 58 so I recommend digging either a straight hole down making a Permanent mine shaft or finding a giant cave system and just launching yourself in there and going all the way down as deep as you can and then mining the rest of the way to Y level negative 58. after you have reached that y level we’re going to create a strip mine and we’re Going to keep track of how far we’ve mined so this block is going to be 22 two blocks and we’re gonna dig all the way over to if my math is correct negative 78 to create a 100 block strip and then we’re going to dig 100 blocks In either right or left Direction and then we’re going to dig again a hundred blocks so that we end up where we started and I’m going to show you what I mean after you have dug out that square though we are ready to start Branch mining so we’re going to come over by Two blocks create a little bit of an indent and then we can go ahead and mine the strip all the way to the back strip that we made earlier and that is why we made a square this is going to allow us to mine in this kind of snaking pattern Making us that we don’t miss a single Diamond again it doesn’t have to be a 100 by 100 square it’s just some random numbers I threw together but as you can see we’re gonna get redstone and you might have seen some diamonds earlier in the main shaft but this is probably the Best and most efficient way to get diamonds without missing any and because we’re mining with two blocks in in between our strips that means that we will never miss a single diamond and we can keep mining like this every two blocks and just clear out a ton of space And because there is no middle space here we aren’t going to miss any diamonds our second method that we’re going to take a look at is caving and as you can see there are so many ores just out in the open when you are caving the Only downside to this is that they did reduce the air exposure of oars meaning that any veins that you find here are usually going to only be like one or two diamonds so this method is super awesome when you’re first getting started and you would like a diamond pickaxe but uh Long term the strip mining is definitely the better option alright hopefully you guys enjoyed this video if you did then be sure to subscribe and leave a like mine is one of MC and I will catch you guys in the next one Video Information
