pre-releases worth of game-changing book fixes to enjoy in the following weeks leading up to the trials And tales updates release date reveal that is why in this video we’re going to be looking at the latest and arguably biggest Minecraft 1.20 release date news straight from the developers themselves along with discussing some rumors within the Minecraft community of what maljang’s plans are for unsubscribe for more Minecraft news so Mojang Studios did just drop what is arguably the biggest Minecraft 1.20 Release date news yet and they are preparing for the biggest reveal of all for the 1.20 release data reveal the number one question on everyone’s Minds since Minecraft live 2022 has been when when is Minecraft 1.20 going to be released and since 2022 there has been No answers on May the 16th King B dogs the developer at Mojang Studios did tweet out this saying it’s frog day this is obviously as many of you may know by now an inside joke with the developers and the Minecraft Community basically meaning it is Snapshot day then just a Few hours later on the same day May the 16th Sly slime slime who is the tech lead for Minecraft Java Edition at muljang did tweet out this sang pre-release 2 for Minecraft 1.20 is here with more bug fixes Below in the article provided we did get this information somewhere now releasing the second Pre-release for Minecraft 1.20 this pre-release contains bug fixes so very straightforward very straight to the point we’ve talked about this in previous videos how pre-releases are basically a way for Mojang to get out any remaining bugs before the official release of an update so right now with pre-release 2 meljen was basically Fixing any pre-releases then within pre-release 1 and then if they do find any more issues in pre-release 2 that they did not manage to get out in time they will then fix them in pre-release free and this process will go on and on and on until they are happy with the Game and they cannot find any more bugs or issues with the game where then we will move on to release candidates we’ve mentioned previously on the channel how this process usually goes on for about a month meaning that at most we are just a few weeks away from the official release Date or at least the reveal of the release date for Minecraft 1.20 just in case you missed it Minecraft pre-release 1 was released on May the 10th meaning that it only took the developers six days to get onto pre-release 2. now naturally this process will speed up a Lot over the next few weeks as I get further and further into the pre-releases there will be less and less bugs to fix meaning that they can get more pre-releases out per week right now we are going through the slowest part of the pre-release phase but as I said over The next few days this process will speed up massively now let’s talk about even more exciting news for the Minecraft 1.20 release date just a few weeks ago on April the 28th we did get the latest episode of Minecraft monthly which is Mojang’s monthly series they hold on the official Minecraft YouTube Channel talking about all of the latest Minecraft news and bits of information all in one convenient video the reason I’m talking about the last episode of Minecraft monthly is because most likely this will be the last ever episode of Minecraft monthly before we actually get the reveal of the release date for Minecraft 1.20 we actually have quite a bit of evidence to prove this the there is no set week when Mojang does release the latest episode of Minecraft monthly but thanks to the latest episode being uploaded on April the 28th we can assume that the next episode for the month of May will be released sometime around the later part of the month most likely it will almost certainly be uploaded in the fourth week of May meaning it will most likely be uploaded anywhere from May the 22nd to May the 28th thanks to past Trends we do know that last year with The Minecraft 1.19 World update Mojang did officially reveal the release date all the way back on May the 26th 2022 and strangely enough thanks to the introduction of the latest music discs to Minecraft we do know that the developers are on schedule and basically what they’re doing this year matches up Perfectly with what they did back in 2022 these schedules are very closely linked and they’re trying to closely follow what they did back in 2022 for the reveal of the world update thanks to this we can assume that as I mentioned earlier sometime within the fourth week Of May anywhere from the 22nd to the 28th we will probably start off by seeing a teaser on the official Minecraft Twitter account saying tune into the latest episode of Minecraft monthly where then in that video they will actually reveal the release date for Minecraft 1.20 this will probably Also be followed by an official announcement on the Minecraft Twitter account but I think all of this information will revolve around the latest upcoming episode of Minecraft monthly which as we talked about will most likely be held sometime within the fourth week of May as of when I’m Recording this video that is just about one week away so I will definitely very very exciting new news all the pieces are finally starting to fall into place we got the announcement for pre-release 2 and it seems like Mojang has been setting up for this huge reveal for Months now we have the next episode of Minecraft monthly just around the corner and conveniently we also have the reveal for the 1.20 release date also just around the corner it is now clear to me and many other people within the Minecraft community that Mojang is preparing something big and it is going To be exciting if you’re like me and you have been very very patiently awaiting the reveal of the release date for Minecraft 1.20 one of the best Minecraft updates of all time then I think we will not be disappointed in the next few weeks Mojang probably most likely has Been preparing for this for months it is going to be a huge event and I’m sure it will make so many people happy as we mentioned earlier on in the video the fact we are already on pre-release 2 is is incredible because as we go further into the pre-releases there will be less And less bugs for the developers at myanjang Studios to fix meaning that they can get more and more and more pre-releases out per week everything is falling into place as I said and it is incredible right now there are no signs of a rocky development behind the scenes So developers seem very happy and very content with what they’ve done for 1.20 and yes it definitely shows the to Minecraft 1.20 had a Clear Vision the developers knew what they wanted to achieve going in and because of that they are now in a very happy state where They’ve achieved all of their goals for the 1.20 trials and tales update now we are just in the end game the final stages of working out any bugs solving any issues and polishing the
