Speedrunning Minecraft is all about pushing the game to its limits and with every new record skilled players test the boundaries of what’s possible at one point we thought the fastest time one could reasonably beat a random seat in was 15 minutes with the development of new strategies that didn’t turn out to Be the case even if new records aren’t set as often as they used to be times continue to get faster and faster so it’s entirely possible we’ll just never know what the realistic limit for a random seed Minecraft speedrun is that said one has to exist barring some super unlikely Event like a bit flip there’s only so much that can be accomplished in a certain amount of time by one set of Blocky Minecraft hands but what if you had two sets of Minecraft hands or three or six Cooperative any percent glitchless is a lot like the Minecraft Speedruns you’re probably used to seeing load a random seed get pearls get blaze rods fill the portal kill the dragon go nuts with one major change multiple Runners playing at once in this run we’ve got an All-Star team of said Rock Edition Runners going for world record Glory so who are these guys kaluti’s had a lot of experience playing both solo and Co-op categories in Minecraft Bedrock not to mention being a leaderboard moderator but has also been dominating the Minecraft Legacy console edition category extensions for years Gucci gang lulaku holds the set seed World record for Bedrock 1.16 and is also a moderator while lol 869 holds the set seed record for Bedrock pre 1.16 shl actually holds the verified world record for the fastest Clash Royale win of all time played against kaluti smitch has dabbled in all kinds of Minecraft versions and categories even holding the World Record for fastest time to break dirt in Minecraft classic utex holds several world records in the platformer do it for me and LBA error has been a part of a few Co-op speedrun teams over the years but why choose to play Bedrock isn’t it glitchy sure but it’s also got Some advantages to it since it was designed to perform well on less powerful devices like cell phones it’s not very laggy compared to Java which is a big help when you’re in a multiplayer game plus according to Gucci gang laku one of the runners it’s sometimes easier To play co-op speed runs on Bedrock because of the version’s World joining nature which makes it relatively simple to set up and reset multiplayer worlds but the huge Advantage Bedrock speedruns have is the stronghold generation in Java as you might know strongholds generate in rings centered on zero zero With the closest strongholds to the middle of the world being about 1280 blocks out Bedrock strongholds also generate pretty far from the center of the world 512 blocks at the absolute least and more commonly over 800 blocks but thanks to the virgin’s spawning rules you can actually enter the world right above the End portal when you load a Bedrock World the game will always put your initial spawn at x44y4 but Bedrock only allows spawning in Tigers planes forests and jungles so if 44 4 in this new world is in any biome but those the game will increase the x-coordinate gradually until the Spawn point is in a spawnable bio if the x-coordinate has to change by hundreds or thousands of blocks so be it the unintended consequence of this of course is that you can spawn right on top of the stronghold instead of having to spend precious minutes traveling to it The group ends up spawning at x-coordinate 1468 which is right in the sweet spot where strongholds commonly generate underneath Villages sweet spot is relative since there’s only about an 11 chance for a stronghold to be underneath this Village but sure enough there’s a stronghold exposed in a ravine right Nearby it’s hard to have a better start than this and so the runners get to work kaluti Gucci and lol869 are playing on PCS but some of the other Runners are playing on touch screens which presents some advantages and disadvantages one nice thing about playing on a touch Screen is that blocks can be placed or broken just by tapping anywhere on the screen rather than having to turn your whole field of vision which saves time in some situations of course touch screens are also less precise than a PC keyboard and mouse so there are definitely trade-offs this is a Pre-vision 1.16 run which means they’ll be playing a similar version of the game to Java’s 1.14 or 1.15 speed runs piglets don’t exist yet in this version so in order to get pearls For Eyes of Ender the team will have to trade with villagers Gucci gang lolaku and kaluti Might be the most mechanically skilled of the group and they’ve both got plenty of experience in single player random seed runs so they’ll take care of the stronghold and the nether respectively while the rest of the group stays back at the Village everyone starts off by gathering wood with Gucci gang lulaku And kaluti both Gathering just enough to make a set of tools kaluti kills the Golem to get iron for a bucket while Gucci gang lalaku goes into a ravine to mine gravel for Flint once the shovel breaks he returns to the surface to craft the Flint into Fletching tables Also grabbing a brewing stand from The Village Church before placing down all the work blocks to make a villager trading area he begins placing and breaking the excess gravel from earlier to get more Flint for Fletching tables in the meantime kaluti descends to a lava pool at the bottom of the Ravine to Make another portal lighting it by using wood blocks to spread fire from the lava to the portal this technique called wood lighting is also possible on Java Edition but it’s far more consistent on bedrock and so most Bedrock Runners don’t even bother crafting a flint and Steel he’s into The Nether at about 2 minutes and 15 seconds while all this is going on LOL 869 and the others are still hard at work collecting wood in Java you have to be pointed directly at a block in order to place another block against it but in Bedrock all you have To do is right-click the open air where you want the block to go since you don’t have to crouch and face backwards bridging is a lot faster on Bedrock than on Java and kaluti takes full advantage of this crossing a lava lake at sprinting speed arriving at another Fortress he takes down three blazes right away going three for three on drops and then starts digging out the nearby blocks in order to increase the spawnable space six more blazes spawn over the next 30 seconds but he’s less lucky this time around with only one dropping a rod back in the Overworld Gucci gang lulaku’s been tasked with finding the portal room in the stronghold and he’s been having a rough time he’s had to backtrack on his route multiple times due to some unlucky wrong turns and once he’s finally headed in the right direction he runs into a horde Of zombies when he finally reaches the portal though there’s a surprise the portal already has five eyes filled in which has less than a one percent chance of occurring that’s five ender pearls the players on the surface don’t have to get from villagers and multiple blaze rods colludi doesn’t have to get from The nether it’s a huge time save still at the Fortress kaluti hears the news the portal is a 5i so four rods is all he needs only five minutes into the Run he can leave the nether meet up with his teammates and craft ender eyes back in The village the rest of the runners have crafted their huge amounts of logs into an even bigger amount of sticks trading them with a crowd of Fletcher villagers for emeralds all they have left to do is trade the emeralds with a cleric villager as colludia and smitch level up The cleric and wait for it to restock LOL 869 and Gucci gang lolaku run around the village Gathering beds for the upcoming dragon fight before long the cleric trades the last few emeralds the team needs kaluti combines them with the rest of his blaze powder to make seven Eyes of Ender and then jumps down into the Ravine to get to the portal room he fills the portal frame and enters the end followed by the others 35 hours of resets and grinding have led to this point by now these Runners from small and sometimes under-appreciated Bedrock Speedrunning Community are on Pace to make history the previous world record for a co-op pre-1.16 Bedrock run was almost 13 minutes in total and there in the end at just over seven but forget about this specific category this group has a chance to complete the fastest co-op speedrun in Minecraft history Bedrock Java console PC you name it they have the chance to beat them all but it’s not over yet the dragon stands in their way and so Gucci gang lilaku and kaluti go in for the kill kaluti strikes first taking a few swipes to the dragon’s head with a sword before Digging the hole from which he’ll start blowing up the beds but it’s all a team effort and so now it’s Gucci gang lulaku’s turn to take Center Stage when kaluti starts blowing up the beds the dragon will try to fly away and the lava flow from Gucci’s Tower will slow it Down just enough for the beds to finish it off before that happens it’s all about timing because dumping the lava too soon or in the wrong place could push the dragon down into the exit portal making it impossible to place beds and killing the Run Gucci and Kaluti have one shot with no choice but to get it right of course that’s exactly what they do foreign Seconds the fastest Co-op run in Minecraft history I huge congratulations to everybody involved in this incredible achievement and a special thanks to Gucci gang loaku for answering all our questions about the Run Bedrock runs particularly Co-op runs have a lot of potential and it’s amazing to see This is not the story of a Minecraft player who possibly cheated to get a faked Minecraft speedrun world record, and not the story of their friend who also did not cheat to get a faked Minecraft speedrun world record. Fake Minecraft speedruns are insane, almost as insane as this description! If you want to see a fake cheated Minecraft 1.16 world record speedrun, this is not the video for you!
