What’s up Minecrafters my name is Matthew Conde welcome back to a quick how-to video today’s topic the firework rocket let’s jump right into it hook guy first things first you need a fireworks star it’s as simple as crafting one on a crafting table with any color of dye and one piece of Gunpowder and that will craft you a firework star however that’s a very simple version of the firework star this game has very complex versions in fact there are two point one trillion yes trillion with a t distinct the firework stars in this game the Hat blew my mind When I heard that so let’s talk about the different characteristics of the firework we have color which is controlled by the dyes we have the shape effects which are controlled by these items here and then we have additional effects which are controlled by these items here so let’s review what all the Shape effects look like the defaults the one on the top you can add a fire charge for a large ball explosion a gold nugget for a star-shaped explosion any player head or mob head for a creeper face explosion and then the feather for the burst explosion okay now let’s review What these additional effects look like alright default again up top if you add a piece of glowstone dust you’ll get the twinkle effect which is a crackle effect after the explosion if you had a diamond you’ll get a trail effect after the explosion and if you had both well You’ll get both the twinkle and the trail effect after the explosion now you know what all the shape effects look like and what all the additional effects look like let’s make a firework start together so the two things we know we know we need one piece of gunpowder we Also know there’s only nine slots to create this firework star which is exactly how many slots are down here I always like to start with the shape effect because you can only pick one of them you cannot put more than one of these into a firework start I’m a big Fan of the large ball explosions so let’s pick that then I like to move to the additional effects second so you can either put none of them on you can put one of them on or you could put both of them on in this category let’s go ahead and put Both of them on and now we have five slots left we could either fill them with colors or just pick one color completely up to you let’s pick some red let’s pick some white and let’s pick some blue and take it to a crafting table so put your gun powder in the Firework charge to make it the big ball the diamond the glowstone for the additional effects and then just our colors and now we have a firework star you can mix and match you could add more colors like I said to point one trillion options so have fun with that Okay now we have our firework star if we want to at this point we could add a fade to color so basically all you need to do in this case is take the firework star the original one and add an additional color or multiple colors you Can add up to eight if you want to so let’s go ahead and do this together as well I’m just gonna come over here and randomly click on eight different colors and I am gonna need to take my original firework star that we just made in a Crafting table I’ll throw the star in and all these other colors in and again you can only do one color if you want it doesn’t really matter and now we have our fade to colors so we have our original fireworks star and then we added a fade to the fireworks star now We need to turn it into a firework rocket if you’ve used an alight tree at all this part will be very simple there are three different types of firework rockets there’s one with flight duration one flight duration – or flight duration of three the only distance is basically How far or how high the firework will fly so if you only want it to go a short distance up over the ground you will add your fireworks star one piece of paper and one gunpowder and that will make you a firework rocket duration one if you Want that firework to fly higher or further you could make it a duration – so again in a crafting table you take your firework star one piece of paper but – gunpowder and then of course for flight duration 3 it’s the exact same fireworks tar paper and then three Gunpowder and that will make your Rockets fly the furthest and the highest possible in the game so let’s make a flight duration one real quick we’re gonna take a paper and we’re gonna take a gun powder in our original star let’s put these in a crafting table and now we Have three of these rockets it’s funny how it doesn’t even show up on the screen we have so much stuff over here it doesn’t even show up on the screen now that you have your firework rocket let’s just review a few things you cannot shoot it out of a bow however you Can shoot it out of a crossbow and in fact if you put multi-shot on it that’s even better multi shot basically shoots three Rockets for the cost of one so you can also just come down here you can place them on the ground just like that You can put them in a dispenser or some sort of redstone contraption this with a button on the front you can press it and it’ll go off that way or my favorite way is in the crossbow so if you stick the rockets in your offhand you can shoot Them out of the crossbow and again this isn’t is enchanted with multi shot so it shoots three instead of just one but it only costs you one so that’s why this is my favorite way of doing it you basically get free Rockets every time you shoot the thing you can also hurt Players and mobs with these Rockets so that’s kind of cool man these poor little horse anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did please click that like button and if you really enjoyed it consider subscribing if you want to be part of the conversation
