Here we are I’m ready to go for episode one I have one goal and it’s simple build a starter home and as a bonus goal I would really love to take care of the food situation I need to find some source of food like a cow pen or

Chickens pigs I don’t know or maybe even a garden for now I’d like to focus on getting some tools okay now that I’ve got some tools I’m gonna get some more wood gathered up I’ll obviously have to upgrade to Stone as soon as possible so that’ll be my next priority is heading

Underground which have you noticed from the b-roll footage there’s a really cool area I wanted to check out just next door to this makeshift spawn location it’s going to be cool what I want to do is clear off this Island’s trees because I think I want to build my house right

Here on top of this island I think that would be pretty cool actually no I changed my mind we’re gonna go check out that area and then I’ll decide where I want to stay so now that I’ve got my crafting table I’m going to go ahead and

Head out I believe it was over in this direction so we’re gonna head over here yeah I think it’s off in that direction but there is a bunch of sheep over here and I need a bed and two plus two equals four so I’m gonna get them okay I have

Enough for now I want to find my way over to this area oh here we go perfect would you look at that I see coal I see Iron and a ton of stones I can work with and while it’s still daytime I actually think I’m gonna get to work on Gathering

Up some resources so let’s find a way down here I’m gonna go ahead and make enough just to make furnace and a pickaxe hey there’s a slime down there and a tree yeah I love this area because I actually thought I wanted to build like over on this little Bridge of land

Because you can go under here but this connects it connects to that side that side basically this is a bridge across this entire Cavern okay I got that mutton cooking so I’ll be able to eat something but I want to grab this coal because once it gets dark I know I’m

Gonna want some torches and I love andesite so while I’m here I’m gonna go ahead and grab this little pocket as much as I can but I am going to go ahead and look for some iron and grab that as well and go ahead and grab this pocket

Of coal and some more endocyte I need to make some sort of Stairway starting right here and a bed right here I want to sleep before it even even gets dark so with my bed right here I kind of want to make some torches just a few and

Light up this main area just to keep monsters off of my back and just a little bit of a easier way up I want to go down there and get that iron but I’m gonna make another pickaxe first and we’re did my food go looked over here

Perfect okay now that I have another pickaxe I’m gonna go ahead and look for some iron gather some of that up see how much I can get just from the surface of a mark just in case all those torches that’s my way from which I came okay

Direction and here I am out some pumpkins on the way over here though I ended up getting 23 raw iron I like this River got some sugar cane ooh a rabbit got some oak wood this is nice I want to see some flowers like here we go

Need some of these what do we got here we got a little waterfall action we could clear out these trees eventually I could terraform once I get some better shovels push all that land back have this just be like a little Valley whoa actually look at this what is that

I’m gonna place the house right in this area over here I want a one two three block Gap right there I want there to be a three block Gap right there something like this okay I had to sleep tonight away but I think I got a shape what I

Want is there to be a center rectangle it’s going to go up two stories high in the center and then the two square rooms off to the side here are going to be going perpendicular to that which will only be one story high so that there’s different layers to the height yeah and

Even on the back side here it’s not going to be as long as that side so it’s not gonna be completely symmetrical either which I’m going to love okay with that shape down let’s raise it up one two three let’s go four blocks for now four blocks high that is okay it doesn’t

Look great right now but I’ll turn it into something for now I want to do some last minute Gathering as well as handle that food problem I’m thinking about making a cow pin before that I need to make a wheat farm that way I know I can

Feed him I already made a bucket and I already have a wooden hoe I have 27 seats so I’m gonna go ahead and plant a wheat farm right outside here I’ll probably make the wheat farm like right over here and I like that shape right there with the granite all I did was

Make a bunch of slabs and complete it like a circle shape now what I need to do is break out a few of these blocks just to add in some water I think that should be enough I also have some sugar cane growing right along the beach and I’m gonna surround this

With torches for now hopefully I can get some lanterns one day after making an iron form because those things are expensive all right the garden hoe broke but I don’t have that many seeds yet anyways I’m just gonna plant what I have okay I think that’s a finished Garden I cannot

Wait until those grow up and start producing a bunch of wheat for us I think I’m gonna sleep this night away and then I’m gonna look for a way to get down to deep slate because I already know I’m going to want to use that in my

Builds I went ahead and made a shield because I’m going to need some protection down there against the monsters if I’m in a deep cave somewhere I don’t have armor yet so yeah I’m Gonna Save on what iron I can until then I’m gonna make some shears as well because

Once this house is done I’m going to want to do some decorations on the outside so I’m going to get some leaves from over here yeah I’m gonna get some Birch leaves and some oak leaves All right I’ve done some work I’ve made some progress I’ve planted a little bit more seeds and even terraformed the area out front a little bit I really want to get to work on the starter house but before I do that there’s one more thing

I have to do which is find a good spot like a cave or something like that to get Stones such as Granite diorite androcyte and deep slate even whoa I forgot about this thing we have back here this is a nice little Cove pretty cool I should be able to follow the

Water down there we go okay let’s light this up real quick well there’s some diorite Some Coal lots of stone and a side and some more iron Thank you never have too much coal I really need to work on gathering this stuff up Foreign iron pickaxe with me which I’m about to start using just to speed this along Okay I got over a stack of granite I’m gonna work on getting some of this diorite I’ll finish up down here Gathering up some stones and I’ll meet you back up on the surface over at the base okay I put everything back in storage as you can see there’s quite a

But I love it I love this house this is going to be a beautiful start to the series and a beautiful home to survive in as you can see I added leaves to the top and just all around the build as well as these flower bushes see back

Here it continues we even got a planter back here a window some storage back here as well as more plants it just looks incredible I’m super proud of the way that turned out now here I even added a little bit of Shrubbery and some plants as well

Just to make the garden look better it did multiply it I was able to get a full Harvest from the garden right after completing the build and so I was able to complete the entire garden with new seeds I even got 48 wheat and 29 seeds left over so yeah this is looking

Fantastic there’s actually one more thing I wanted to do before the end of the episode there was a feature in the update that I actually did learn about that was signs there’s actually hanging signs now and what I want to do is take some oak logs take some oak logs take my

Iron I need to make some chains first sign Birch hanging sign I want an oak one or I think a birch would look nice wow I made six of them and what I want to do is come to the top over here bring this out about like that and I kind of

Want to put a little bit of support like that to it and then we can hang it just like this dimer’s humble getaway I want to leave it like that and I think that looks incredible yeah these new hanging signs are amazing and I love the way

That looks yep that’s awesome okay so now the starter house is officially complete I’m gonna have to do a lot of organizing so I guess I should show you the inside of the build before I end the episode I went ahead and went with a stone floor variable Stones like

Andesite gravel and Cobblestone and over here we have a furnace room just so I can do a bit of smelting I didn’t know what to do with this area or this one and that is because right when you come to the house there’s a center staircase

That leads up to the bedroom this is where I’ll sleep a little bit of storage right next to the bed and then over here I got nine double chests for some early game storage so yeah I love this starter house this is probably my favorite starter house ever however I’m gonna
