Hello and welcome back to the Yogscast games with zips today we are not actually playing space babies in the arcade we’re playing it in Minecraft holy crap no we’re pushing it in the arcade like look at the cam up in the top right corner you’ll see us we went Back to the future to the 80s to play space invaders in the arcade yes you’ll notice that I have quite the array of acne on my face because I’m ohmmeter 9 years old circa nine years old what’s an ohmmeter look at these options this is incredible what is the ohmmeter it’s Apparently maybe it’s like when you make an O face oh and you’re like oh good god and it rates you based on your old face okay uh let’s put the difficulty of you how good are you a space invader sips well it’s a pretty good dangerous your Middle name for maybe we should just yes should go with medium for our first attempt okay right so we’re gonna do co-op co-op multiplayer okay where we have to fight off waves of space invaders Jumba this blaze yeah arcade oh yeah one sips round one okay I can say You can shoot I can’t [ __ ] okay I can see the it Wow okay oh okay well together I’ve got house alright there’s no differentiation to that color so if we do this like if we come together a bit we might get confused which ones which So be careful that I watch I take this side look at the power up you take outside that’s a flying saucer sips not power up it looks like a power up well it looks well it’s a block actually Luis and I’m gonna get it you get the flying Saucer block okay blow up our own buildings I’m trying not to I’m trying to get sick tactic well of course it’s base invaders okay is to shoot through your own buildings yeah ah watch this become effective this is yeah that’s pretty effective good job also have dodgy dodging is very oh You’ve got quibble lazy bullets we both have crazy bullets like these crazy screams appears much you can oh okay I’m just shooting at ship what I mean it isn’t it blowing up our old buildings bomb base is getting too ravaged by these crazy bullets but I think our base rebuild so if we Win our crazy bullocksies win around leaders yeah we have six lives left – I’ll look there’s more crazy bullets incoming think that those lives will go down if you get hit careful don’t get hit okay so um Oh Schumer pal missiles oh my god here we go awesome yeah Alright you’ve ever played this in the arcade we were you too young for this vaguely I mean I remember seeing them but I don’t think I I think was too young to play I mean this is an old game I’m an old guy but not bad light your Day I’m in my in the arcades I played a street fighter – Mario doctors Riario who played dr. Mary okay gee I don’t I resumed idle the friends or something like geez if I was lucky enough to have friends back in okay I head to my own I Had to buy my friends with my allowance okay I got I got 25 cents a week and that meant that I got to hang out with one person for ten minutes a week the only time I ever went see arcade is when I went to see my nan and Clacton she was More interested in putting like two peas in the slot machines you don’t always come back to your nan you talk about your dad like all the time games recipt reminds me of playing goes my now alright when I was young they did their friends I hung out with my Nana Lord she Was cool okay I don’t have to guess you had to stood me she listened don’t have to get so aggressive about it what were your nan think about you yelling at your friend on the internet I mean jeez I don’t think she’d be I don’t let you Cheat at least I’ve made a friend okay good for you we’ll Lewis sticking up for yourself gettin Internet oh Simpsons game Oh The Simpsons game was really I could choose to play as one of the four characters and each had their own at controller yeah yeah that was this side-scrolling one right like that’s right the Ninja Turtles style side-scrolling that I am Sort of thing oh what a parody what I’m bad remember when Mortal Kombat came out in the arcades and it was like controversial because it had like all that blood and everything you did not bro it was just like a shower of like blood globules when everybody seen the New one yes it looks crazy I don’t think I could play that game like it just looks too crazy for me like I’m starting to show my age now like it no honestly because like you’re too crazy I play a fighting game I pick up the controller And I’m I’m like a [ __ ] I’m not even joking I just I just start going crazy like pressing all the buttons I don’t know what I’m doing it’s nuts like I can’t handle always be like that with fighting games though every eye well I always found like when I played Against my friends in fighting games I had two choices I could either be really careful in clinical and press buttons so I think would be good or I could just mash everything yeah when I mashed everything I sued far better but what I would do is like I would play these Fighting games like killer instinct or whatever yeah and after like three games with just mashing the controller my hands would be so like tired like calloused yeah like I just like you know built a flipping you know giant wall laughs did you know that killer instinct Is still going and there’s like a pro scene for it and everything now really yeah say mysterious lighter like it’s crazy there’s like a huge like online like fighting tournament scene it’s crazy think of Fight Club but like imagine it’s just like about Sharia it’s like wait Yeah it’s like it’s it’s weird it’s really exciting though it’s like if you watch some of the tournaments some of the people are like really good you got all these like epic standoffs and stuff like and they like know when to block and everything it’s all it’s crazy so Basically that’s something that I can’t do it so no I kept like for sure was never again I was never good at it I mash all the buttons and hope that some of the signature moves are done and you know you can occasionally do like a sweep kick or something like that Did you ever have like that friend that when you played fighting games they just continually do sweet kicks and their yeah they connected a won ability right it’s like forward forward a right and it was like Hadouken yeah and I would just that we all they do they Would stand there in the back and go her do good good luck there Hadouken they would just do one ability every time and it was Hadouken she likes caviar with your hairdo conserve don’t mock my I’m not just a guy who you just saw honey what did you how do you Pronounce it then I Anna pronounced it the same way that Ken and Ryu both get pronounced it and that is of course Hadouken okay give it again I did always actually that oh my god oh we have a laser Wow how does that work oh oh it just killed very effective apparently Check this out oh oh it be the champions we’re Gonna be like the flash anew of the of the pro scene to start with and then of course we’ll get overtaken by young whippersnappers you’re better at this than us but but at least we’ll have like our moment of glory right it’s starting this yeah one day what and well then We’ll be commentators yeah then we’ll really like retiring the commentating what do you want like your callsign to be because obviously we’re pilots like what was your cool side back when you were like when you when you have to pick your right yeah like a space invader Scoreboard did you put in like si P because you’re gonna need ever get three no you just say you do like P oh oh or like P is sometimes di K and stuff like that like you had to like you had to sort of know that I’ll be dik then Unless you got like the top top score and then you would actually put your your actual initials because you’d be so proud of the fact that you got the top o night I sniped that missile so hard look at that thought you were gonna say P us actually yeah be a good call that would be a great combo It can be like a commentary combo like sort of after the pro scene sort of just starts to like mature I guess you know we get like so more people commentating we could be like one of the one of the commentators has to be like flavor one Of them has to be expert right analysis so you know so I think I’ll be expert in this case we can just we could just fight over that I guess yeah yeah yeah what zone we need to use like big words when we’re doing the expert side as well Like what are some like really big scientific words that I could be using when providing my expert analysis it would have to have to be like expert words for like movements in like space invaders so like later like [ __ ] is probably like you know getting a powerup It’s a really strong cheese oh good okay she’s bunking is where you shoot through a hell that’s called sparking cots okay fine so we’re gonna like invent our own like space Invaders used to be super super hard because they decided to take your money off here yeah so you can’t play space invaders for as long as we’ve played it without if we were playing this in an arcade we would have put in like I really like I don’t know who would have Been kicked out everything I would’ve unplugged my shoe by now been like getting it out of here smart ass or you think this is some sort of free ride no this is and he always had like the bank of quarters and he had like a like a Visor on and stuff yeah did you guys have that the yeah yeah tended and he and and he looked like he was away so emptying hundreds of pounds out of machines you know that people oh yeah you know have you ever been to a funfair where they have an arcade and you have To get like they don’t accept money you have to buy like tokens from a booth and the person in the booth just looks like they just have this complete and utter hatred for all of humanity in general and you just don’t want to talk to this Person and they don’t want to talk to you but you have to have some sort of like communication with them or in exchange where why they give you these tokens they’re always like gross and sweaty and they look like they’ve just been I don’t know crammed into these ass For like ten years it’s true though that’s what they’re booths boobs me just by later so they’ve got like a thin layer of grease all over the inside of their boot and layer Jesus girls think really just oh my god what what you’re doing right now is you’re like leading See you’re like you’re like getting ahead of the wave yeah yeah you have to miss like a key my laser guns aren’t working though oh yeah maybe he’s a circuit maybe we’ve been unplugged made the Gaia plug I think we’ve only got two lives left this is gonna be over so how God oh it’s I don’t know do we get like is it because we’re like level eight and when we’re at level 9 we only have one maybe level tens no final level there’s I think we start we start with like six lives but we have we haven’t been hit by This something yet no we haven’t so we should have all of our lives still no I’ve been hit by a couple times no I haven’t been hit once you have been hit oh really yeah how cuz I’m awesome oh my god maybe it’s me like losing all These life you’re the weakest link geez oh [ __ ] ah there we go cheating is is we’re juicing and you’re smoking is awful no look oh we do have two lives okay round tens got to be the final round yeah that makes sense I can’t think they Would be more than that okay this is right this is the big one I missed the powerup that was really absurd okay that was clutch we needed that but it’s okay we can still turn it around okay with the power of di K and P P is freaking we Can reverse this we can bring it back look I’ll get the power up there we go but later that was so good we’ve got laser now it’s fine definitely the pro thanks Louis the million dollars on the line tips it’s gonna be you you’re gonna Take it I think that’s why they call me the million dollar baby Louis that’s right a million dollar invader a million dollars later here we go we’ve only got two left and then we getting it we’re gonna get the boss fight oh crap you have to lead crass Work in this boss fight was there a boss fight in space invaders I’m sure there oh my god just keeps going endless and never get away Rochelle when will it end in school I’m telling you that it looked back on my footage Lewis I haven’t been hit once like it’s Really saying yeah like I bring so much steel that I bring so much skill to the table it’s like I don’t even know what to say back when you were a young child I did bring you back in Canada yeah you know they date when you went to school It was like it’s like in Russian school they teach Tetris but in Canadian school they don’t maze invaders they don’t teach Tetris at Russian school that is [ __ ] why would they do that because they need to train up the next generation of skilled gir gamers that’s Like chess they do it with should you ever see the video of that guy beating Tetris like level 99 and it’s like in oh my gosh oh say I know they showed it like blind over the credits yeah pretty much and like they showed like his you know the controller movements and stuff And it was almost like he was like predicting like the the blocks that were coming out and stuff like there’s no way that like he must have been cheating or he must have been on steroids or something cause like I don’t see how a normal person can just do that don’t That’s actually a thing like in the inning there’s like a bunch of gamers like who are all taking my ADHD medication like before they play like a pro game because it’s like all completely unregulated yes it’s like loads of people who are like too revved up before they play pro pro like League Of Legends game to wherever one like this little million sounds in it yeah yeah yeah like amping them up amping them up on ritalin yes that’s a real problem it’s a real pain level start doing like blood tests oh god they’re gonna have to have like urine samples Before they can play DotA and stuff that’s yeah that’s nice I didn’t realize that that was the thing are you are you Josh now I’m taking it right now I’m just like oh man you know just swallow the whole pie yeah are you downing him with like a bottle of you go into like a dome thing and the game is like all around you and stuff it’s almost like I don’t Know if that’d be too much Star Wars for me actually like it sounds cool but I don’t know if I’d want actually that sounds a bit weird I’m thinking it’s more like candy crush you know like it’s all branded up you know inked in like by like yeah like Clash of clans you know you just play that in a war of muck war of Thrones and a bunch of people play like in cyber cafes don’t they in like Asian stuff like most dota 2 and League of Legends stuff yeah there was a I read an article There was like I think it was a guy in Korea and he was playing he played so much diablo 2 he didn’t go home for like i think it was like basically a week and he played for like a week straight and then he just died of a heart attack Oh yeah like just non-stop gaming i guess it would probably do it to you I mean that’s similar things have happened to like me I felt really really ill like after playing a lot of World of Warcraft really know when an expansion comes out yeah like staying up way way way too Late like through the night dunk it’s done it as well it’s Lincoln too much lemonade and stuff yeah why Don’t they make quite cool games like this anymore this game was cool no they probably do they probably like make like a space invaders 3000 it’s probably like yeah mega perilous feel like ah I know a [ __ ] can probably only shoot like five times a day and you have to buy like 20 Million space bucks to unlock another shot and stuff like you know games are like nowadays it you know they’re not the same like like this game quite clearly wanted to like just you know consume quarters at an alarming rate but you know at least what when you paid A quarter you got to play the whole game for yeah ten seconds before it needed another quarter because it was so [ __ ] that killed you that’s just like kind of a circle now so you have to pay more money to like 9s change well nothing’s changed exactly it’s just like A lot more abstract now isn’t it it’s like a different way of consuming your money but like I don’t know if it’s better like you don’t get any gameplay for like the money that you spend most of the money that you spend on iOS games now is to just like do Something faster cuz it’s all time-based isn’t it yeah Jesus oh it really it really is oh okay this is it it’s this level 20 I think we have one life left and we have one type of missile Oh God oh look oh it keeps going around 21 gonna keep guy don’t seem to Get any harder either is it just me or is this definitely more red stuff okay try to get this powerup oh god we both missed it look we had like a perfect stream of bullets going up there and it’s still it did nothing the bullets they did nothing Oh God but getting into like this weird rhythm though where we’re like on the same square no it’s like it’s like maverick and goose like we’re reading each other’s mind like so yeah it’s really weird so good this is what this is what we need though this is what’s Going to define us as a pro team in Minecraft based space invaders when the proceeding like really starts to develop because other like challenges are gonna be just like forced together you know like oh yeah we’ve got Kim Kim Jong from Korea who’s like really is like signed For like we’re gonna sign them up you’re gonna partner them up with like Clive Smith from America and they don’t know each other and they don’t really have like a dynamic but they’re both excellent players but no not us we’re gonna be like I’ll have real goodness Like that is guys do everything together they brush their teeth together and they’re just on the same wavelength all the time and their alien slaying is like second nature to them and stuff it’s gonna be like ah it’s gonna be like this epic sort of story about how our team is The best I’m super jealous super jealous all the other teams will be like really jealous to be like oh how do what’s our team gonna actually be called and what’s it called dick dick piss piss are they’re gonna be like oh [ __ ] oh I got carried away Thinking about the team there was a give so hard about the team like a stray bullet I took my hotel oh well we oh here we go mess no that’s right we did it we did it we’re the best sips we don’t think pisses done it once Again through there a good dynamic and
