Wow Hello everyone this is the nelston welcome back to another video today we’re going to be going over one of the most deadly enemies in the rebirth of the night mod pack the harvester currently on screen are the main topics we’ll be going over if you’d like to skip to any point please Go into the description to find the appropriate timestamps and of course if you have any questions feel free to join my discord the link is in the top right corner without further ado let’s go ahead and get straight into the video The harvester is a powerful undead soul who serves as the first boss in rebirth of the night you can challenge him after unlocking the slayer’s journal and gearing up advancements and defeating him serves as the final step before you’re able to access the nether although beating him is not currently mandatory for going Summoning the harvester is also a rather involved process he can only be fought during the night so you’ll have up to 20 minutes to fight him assuming you start as soon as the sun sets once you have unlocked the ability to summon him you’ll see a new entry in the Slayer section of your guidebook called the harvester accessing this entry will give you an option to project a schematic into the world to complete this outline you’ll need to create an effigy with two hardened bone blocks two hay bales and one jack-o-lantern as such then place a soulfire chassis in front Of the lower center block make sure you have no other blocks which could obstruct the spawning of the harvester check to make sure it’s nighttime and right-click the soul chassis to begin the fight The harvester has a 100 chance to drop one shot of knight one harvester scythe enchanted with lunar edge one smite one and runed one 9-12 wheat with an average of 11 per kill and 4-8 leather with an average of 6 per kill additionally he has a 40 chance to drop One golem head which can be used to summon uniquely powerful constructs and a 5 chance to drop a totem head of any kind he will also drop zero to nine wheat beetroot and pumpkin seeds with an average of three of each type and at least one of any type guaranteed And finally the first kill that you get on him will yield two heart crystal shards to both you and everyone within a 50 block radius of you this is not a repeat reward which means that regardless of who dealt the final blow and got the achievement any player who receives the crystals as A drop cannot get them from another harvester again looting increases the chance that you’ll get a golem head and a totem head and increases the amount of wheat leather and seeds that you get per kill difficulty in the luck potion effect do not affect drop rates however prior to fighting the harvester there Are four viable armor sets to choose from silver armor iron armor bronze armor and steel armor silver armor and bronze armor are good for doing extra damage while iron armor and steel arm are good for soaking up more hits while bronze is quite strong with the gladiator set effect and steel is very Good with this jump boost too and overall tankiness silver is the best option in my opinion as it is significantly easier to obtain and deals bonus damage to the undead harvester you’re also going to need to get your hands on some decent metal weapons because the harvester likes to act more Aloof than catfishing bots on tinder it can be hard to reach them sometimes thus it is highly recommended that use weapons with the reach attribute in order to make this fight easier in my opinion the greatsword is the best combination of damage reach and overall usability against the Harvester the best medal for your weapon is silver as it deals more damage to undead enemies however you may choose to use a bronze shield and weapon with bronze armor for the gladiator set effect or a steel weapon with steel armor for the howling b-set effect additionally it is recommended that you Get a bow with a few arrows to deal damage while the harvester is out of melee range i would not recommend a longbow as it takes much longer to charge up a shot and leaves you vulnerable to quick attacks from the harvester shields are more or less useless in this Fight if you stop the shield you’re already dead Start by making a large flat area a few blocks above the ground to avoid harassment from other mobs and fence off the sides to make sure you don’t fall off next you want to put down some campfires around the arena when fueled with logs and lid the campfire will provide an 11 By 11 area around it with a small passive healing effect and an effect which gives you more hunger and saturation per food item If you aren’t careful this boss will mess up your day faster than you can cry uncle wally is a difficult boss to defeat getting a grasp on his behavior and mechanics will make this fight a whole lot easier upon summoning the harvester has 200 health or 100 hearts Regardless of the difficulty this will stay consistent he is able to pass through blocks with ease activating or interacting with them upon contact but will not stray more than a few dozen blocks away from where the player currently is the harvester is also immune to a wide range of damage sources including fire Damage lightning lava suffocation drowning cacti fall damage wither and the poison effect the harvester has three main attacks which you will use in a cyclical fashion if you are killed by any of these attacks the harvester will regenerate back to full health instantly the first attack known as the Evoker phase is when the harvester raises his non-scythe hand up for a few seconds and summons evoker fangs that target your current location and snap up at you each hit is armor piercing and does 6 damage or 3 hearts worth regardless of difficulty although the protection enchantment does Reduce the amount of damage dealt the second attack known as the charging phase is when the harvester will begin to charge towards your current position while his flying speed is slightly slower than the player’s sprinting speed he can make quick midair adjustments to home in on you if your location changes Each hit will deal 5 damage or 2.5 hearts in easy difficulty 8 damage or 4 hearts in normal difficulty and 12 damage or 6 hearts in hard difficulty upon hit he has a chance to inflict the broken armor 2 debuff which will significantly reduce the amount of armor that you have The third attack known as the summoning phase is when the harvester pauses momentarily to call forward 5 shafts which operate similarly to vexes each attack by a shaft does 6 damage or 3 hearts in easy difficulty 10 damage or 5 hearts in normal difficulty and 15 damage or 7.5 hearts in hard difficulty Upon contact the shafts have a chance to apply the magic vulnerability debuff which increases the amount of magic damage that you take this attack only triggers when the harvester takes enough damage and once he is done summoning shafts he will immediately go back to either the evoker or charging phase The shafts will slowly take damage over time until they eventually die however he can summon more before the previous wave dies if that phase is triggered again Before the fight you may want to fill up your saturation to ensure that you don’t need to eat as often one of the easiest ways to do this is by drinking a few 0.5 quality or above ales to add even more healing to your existing buffs you can use bandages Before the fight as that regeneration also stacks with the campfire effects the most important thing to remember is to always keep moving the harvester relies on quick and numerous attacks to kill you but these are not predictive in other words he will only target your current location at any given time As long as you don’t stay still for an extended period of time he will not be able to hit you at all remember to move in one direction only especially if he’s in his evoker phase as if you suddenly turn around he may be able to combo you and kill you instantly Remember that your sprint speed will always be faster than even the fastest charge by either the harvester or a chef you also want to make sure that you’re using your dodge especially the forward one whenever you can once you get to the stage where he continuously summons shafts which can potentially corner you Being able to reposition yourself quickly before they surround you can spell the difference between life and death while i recommend having a bow on hand do not use it unless you’re absolutely sure he’s not going to attack you of the three phases only one the summoning phase doesn’t require you to keep moving However you may find that between attacks he just hovers in place for a while without doing anything and if you’re too far to immediately reach him with your melee weapon i would suggest taking a few pot shots at him to get some easy chip damage Upon defeat the titular rebirth of the night game stage will be unlocked for you and all other players within 50 blocks of you letting loose a whole cast of terrifying new mobs to hunt you down in later game stages the harvester will have a small chance to naturally spawn During a night in the fall season using a fragment of the harvester’s power you can now summon a formidable new foe who hails from the cosmos all right that’s gonna do it for this video thank you so much Is you Video Information

Do you remember what playing Minecraft for the first time felt like? The caves were unnerving, the monsters were dangerous, the nights were unpredictable and unforgiving… Most of all, everything was unknown and discovering something new felt exciting. There was so much to learn and experience: you never knew what was around that bend in a cave, what was on the other side of that portal, or what would await you down the hall of a stronghold. This modpack aims to bring danger, mystery, and excitement back to exploring and thriving in the world.
Fear the dark. Defy the odds. Embrace the night. In an ever-changing world, bravery is vital… and arrogance is lethal.
