There are 1700 skeletons here and i’m getting one fps let’s kill them Hey guys what is up the neocubist here welcome to episode 21 of my minecraft 1.18 hardcore survival let’s play okay well after watching that uh that that you probably understand what i went through i would get like zero fps okay for like five or six minutes while killing them

It was a true struggle um my sword almost died so i put it in here because i wanted to put it back at the house i’m actually gonna leave here we don’t need any more xp levels and this is not nearly enough um mobs to give us any

Sort of levels i don’t know where my pickaxe went i’ll be completely honest i don’t know i think some of my tools are in another chest guys look at this okay look at all these arrows look at all this stuff so in this episode we’re going to be making some

Very overpowered equipment because we have a mega base this weekend uh i know i i’ve been doing a lot of planning a lot of preparation and i am very excited to get on with actually building a megabase and living in it because it’s been a long time since i’ve done that

So i’m going to take a bunch of arrows i’m going to take you can see all the armor i have stored up in here it’s pretty sweet dude i got a lot of bows just unenchanted and then i have enchanted bows in here so let’s see if we can find some good

Bows here there’s a power three unbreaking three and infinity and a skeleton just dropped that a skeleton dropped that so let’s see if we can find another power three bow in here probably won’t take very long there we go does this have on breaking three

It does let’s see if we can find another one breaking three if we get them breaking four i don’t think that’s the thing okay so we have the bows and i’m concerned cause i really don’t know where my tools went like honestly dude i have no idea i’m

Kind of i’m kind of worried i might have left them on an island somewhere and you might be asking yourself neo what island are you talking about yeah and also my armor is broken we’re going to get a ton of diamonds in this episode we’re going

To do a ton of stuff in this episode so let’s go get started first of all let me show you where i am planning this project meet you there all right so we’re finally coming out of the hole in our ground back to the house i did traverse from the house for a

Little bit let me show you all the wood that i got i just got i got so much amazing feedback from you guys a lot of you were like neo we don’t really want to see you get wood anymore we’ve seen people get wood a billion times so i was like okay cool

Because i didn’t really like getting wood on camera anyways so i got a good bit of wood which we’re not actually going to use too too much for this project i’m not going to spoil what the project is i’m going to keep you guys in suspense but just know this it’s going

To be really really cool and of course i’m biased you know i’m the one doing it but i’m going to show you where we’re going to be collecting some materials when i say i’m going to collect materials i’m going to do it all off of

Camera i may do like a tiny time lapse but i’m not going to bore you guys anymore with that stuff because i understand you guys have seen it a million times but it’s directly over here so i’ll meet you when i’m there all right well i think you can kind of

See these chess and this crafting table over here and this is where we’re gonna be collecting sand now i can’t really collect materials for a project when i don’t really have any oh where is my pickaxe okay so my shovel is over here but my pickaxe did my pickaxe break or something it

Doesn’t really matter because it wasn’t a very good pickaxe but i was gonna go mining over here so i gotta i guess i gotta go back home and uh we gotta make an op pickaxe the problem being i don’t have any diamonds i have no oh i literally don’t have any diamonds all

Right well i think it’s uh necessary we park our boat at the dock i know where our boat parking seems to be full i guess we didn’t pay our membership fee um but yeah i am kind of concerned by this i don’t know how i lost my pickaxe

Well it’s not gonna be in there i’m gonna check in the lighthouse though maybe it’s in there for some reason okay let’s just go in here i may have left it in here no i didn’t because mine was enchanted i mean it’s okay we’re just using it to get diamonds

But the thing is is that we really need fortune three so i’m gonna go ham on this bad boy until we get at least fortune three like i love those enchants i love those enchants but we need fortune three and uh maybe the best way to get fortune three is by making a

Lectern i guess we could technically do that we do have a village over there and we could just try to get um but we don’t have any emeralds that’s the problem i don’t know we at least need enough diamond tools to make a bunch of uh a

Bunch of equipment i know you can get fortune three actually how many we have 25 emeralds so maybe we could get one fortune 3 enchant yeah i think we actually can do we have enough books to do this no do we have enough leather what is the limiting factor here maybe it’s leather

I think i may be able to do this hold on one second let me check my cows yeah i just realized that’s going to be a negatory on the cows uh you guys remember whenever we killed them last time i think we might have killed a few too many because this is

All the cows we have in the whole world so we’re not gonna kill these guys we’re gonna breed them i think i have books somewhere in my base let me just search around in there and i’ll come back when i find them because i’m sure that there’s somewhere hidden in there

Yeah i’m a smart man we have 17 bookshelves just sitting in here whoops whoops whoop whoops whoops whoops okay so let’s make a lecture and you guys know what that means that means we can actually get hopefully oh that’s all slabs okay uh that means hopefully we

Can get a fortune three enchant i’m not gonna say no to mending guys honestly i’m tired of using these slow tools uh i don’t need we’ll go with like five i don’t think i’ll need more than five so we’ll put up all this stuff like i said we don’t we literally don’t

Have any diamonds we don’t really have any iron so we’re gonna go on basically a mega mining trip today and i’m not gonna make it boring we’re gonna be doing the most exciting mining trip you’ve ever seen i want to come back with over a stack of diamonds i’m

Literally i’m so tired of every week me being like i don’t have any diamonds um it’s been a struggle and also our sword is dead so we’ll put it in there for now and uh we’ll enchant this bad boy whatever we get we get i say that but that’s not i just need

Sharpness right like i’m not looking for anything crazy like just sharpness that you know what whatever it’s better than what we had we can combine these bows i think how many levels that can take six or what 20 okay i think i’ll go the six way we’ll call this the neo bow

Yup the neop bow that’s perfect um now it has infinity on it so we don’t really need these arrows we only need like one and it’s also very dead so i might want to grab a full bow from our mob spawner and repair it real quick sounds like a plan

Now while i’m down here i really am gonna make sure and take a good hard look at did i actually lose my pickaxe i mean because i don’t see it in here like it’s not in here so i don’t know what happened to it i genuinely don’t

Um but yeah i did modify the mob spawner as you could probably tell by the beginning of the video uh originally it was just like one spot and then i made it like into a line and i realized it wasn’t enough spots when i left it

Overnight and now we have this big old like a round thing the mobs actually fall into here i think oh they fall into here like right there you can see the hole and this actually works out really well i think because it makes them spread out and it doesn’t lag as bad

It is you know harder to kill them i guess but it’s still not bad at all um but yeah we just need to grab a bow which i think we have enough bows so yeah okay it’s always a long walk to my spawner so i really want to make a

Railway there at some point and i want to make it look good um but our new megabase is going to be somewhat far from this island i i don’t know we’re going to incorporate it somehow and i think it’s going to really wow you guys i hope um i’ve been i’ve

Been doing quite a bit of planning quite a bit of planning which is unusual for me for a megabase i don’t usually do that and i keep looking around i’m just like hoping that somehow some way see i have all these broken diamond pickaxes but like it’s not in here so i

Don’t know i’m just trying to make sure i have everything i’m gonna need whenever i go underground because i’m gonna be there for quite a while i don’t know maybe i have more steak in here i feel like i would have gotten more than a stack of steak um

But i guess not because it’s not in here so i don’t know aha there you are beef hiding from me i see so we do have 34 raw beef which is perfect i’ll go over to there while this is cooking oh well there’s already enough in there anyways whatever um i am

Going to go over to their lighthouse which i want to put a bed in there i feel like i’m always outside and uh oh yeah my blue bed where is my blue bed i think that’s in the spawner actually it probably is i probably want to bring

Just like a bed with me and i think i have some extra wool in here actually i know i have enough wool out okay uh you know what we’re gonna make the old school red bed just like beds used to be there is this was the only

Color of bed for so long in minecraft and i wish it was still that color by default although i understand why it’s not you know i get it you know times change man i like this lighthouse a whole lot um i saw a design by the way if you’re

The oh some xp up there nice i saw the design someone sent for the automatic like uh i don’t know portion of the lighthouse that would make it move up here and i tried to build it in creative and i couldn’t do it so i’m sorry but thank

Probably travel in this direction like i said and we’re going to be gone for quite a while i know i have these leg turns we should probably go try that first i just need some books so let’s go grab some books and we’ll head to the village and

See if we can get fortune 3. i’m funny i like put this bookshelf down and i broke it and i was like wet so i did make like an axe because i really needed to and it just hasn’t breaking three you know silk touch and stuff that’s why i can’t get the books

Back i was like well this doesn’t seem right how many books that give me three i’ll just break another bookshelf and then we’ll keep the rest we still have 10 in there which is really nice i can grab this book too um i just want to

Make sure i have enough books to trade it’s either books or paper and i’m pretty sure it’s emeralds and books so we should be good so now we’re gonna head over to the village and break all their job blocks and then make them all uh make them all villagers i still do

Want to have a trading hall at some point guys this is not that it’s just to build all these big projects i need fast tools these tools are way too slow all right now before we break the job blocks i want to say one thing i tried a new editing style i did

Actually start a new series that’s just going to be like once a week and it’s called ocean block so if you guys wouldn’t mind checking that out i would really appreciate it it has like an orange outline on the thumbnail sticks out pretty well and i think that may interest you guys i

It’s just odd to me maybe this is above where i am when i’m sitting in the dungeon spawner i mean i don’t know how far over it is now i couldn’t find any job blocks like i have not found a single job block so like and also where

Are all the villagers like i see this guy i see this little guy oh i do see this farmer over here maybe we can trap him they don’t really even need to be trapped i really don’t care um as long as you take a job okay come

Here buddy will you take this job okay we’re in business now i just need to encapsulate you in a in a smaller area so i can deal with you and hopefully it doesn’t move yep okay we’re in business so i am going to make this villager get a job

Uh or not get a job but get the job that i want him to have so i’m gonna be in here alone with this villager for quite a while i’ll come back whenever i have you know what i need let’s see what does he have right now why can’t i open the

Trade with him multi shot see that’s not the way i’ll come back with fortune 3. you know guys sometimes when fortune 3 doesn’t show itself you got to buy two fortune two books and then combine them but actually this was like the fourth time i did it off camera and we have one

Emerald to spare so i’ll leave him in here it seems like that’s a decent trade um we’ll probably want fortune three more than once i do need to make some other pickaxes that i’m going to use because i only want to use this one when i find diamonds

Otherwise we’re going to end up wasting this big axis durability and the rest will be null and void we still have 173 xp levels that are disposable yes at our disposable so we’re really are going to be extremely overpowered by the end of the episode that’s the hope

At least and then megabase time baby because yeah i saw a couple comments on whenever i asked you guys for feedback and a lot of you were saying like i’m kind of done with the whole beach thing and uh i don’t fully agree with that

Like i kind of like the wow i still really like the beach i’ll be honest but um i hear you guys and that’s not why i’m building a mega base the megabase is still going to be i don’t want to spoil it but it’s going to be enough of a

Change to satisfy both fields here i think so how much does it cost to combine books like this only six okay now how much to add it to my pickaxe that’s the big question only seven okay what does it take away nothing okay um so i don’t remember if i had any

Tools in here that were no i don’t okay so let me go grab some iron real quick okay so all we have is okay i thought i had some more iron do i not have more iron smelting okay i was like dude there’s no way that’s all the

Iron i have in the world and that’s the problem right with fortune 3 or it’s not a problem well it’s soon to not be a problem but you guys remember that fortune 3 allows you to get even more iron ore now so now we’re gonna hopefully have enough stuff

Okay we’ll just make six that’s fine and honestly i’m gonna bring these on this iron with us and i’m gonna bring our anvil as well uh i need more wood so that i don’t run out on the trip okay i’m gonna put the book up we don’t need that we don’t need

A composter either or the leg turns we don’t really need the lapis either so we’re gonna make sure to put that up i kind of wish i had choker boxes but i don’t want to defeat the ender dragon this week or maybe we’ll do it next week

I don’t know um all i know is that the big plans are coming i promise we just gotta do a few things because it’s gonna take a little bit it’s gonna take a little bit so let’s go ahead and pick up our anvil just in preparation and then

We’re just gonna go ham on these see what we can get i’m breaking three is you know what whatever i i don’t care at this point silk touch efficiency four that’s fine and uh wow okay that’s really good can we combine these and get efficiency five maybe

I don’t know well let’s just unchain our last one and then we’ll be good this should be enough for mining fortune three of course we get fortune three on our iron pickaxe okay that’s fine with me i guess whatever dude i just want i need i need

The efficiency for okay so now we can probably go mining and be overpowered somewhat um and then we can come back and make full diamond everything because yeah as you can see our armor is uh actually you know what you know what we’re gonna do here we have a diamond

Chest plate which which is fine uh but honestly it just has on breaking three so let’s go i know right let’s see what we can get on it let’s just see what we can get blast protection for you know what with creepers and such i think that’s actually not a bad idea um

So let’s grab some boots let’s grab some pants and a helmet and we’ll just enchant these real quick i know you know enchanting iron armor is kind of uh but we don’t have enough diamonds so fire protection three i’ll take it if i fall into lava that’s okay i wish feather falling no

Okay that’s fine it’s better than what we have guys projectile protection nah there we go guys okay i think we’re in a position we can finally go mining and we’ll probably be okay which is very very good we’re gonna keep all these things on us

And uh yeah it should be a good mining expedition all right i will find a good cave and then i’ll come back when i do i’m just gonna travel over to there on the boat that we left right there i’m currently trying to race the night

Time and i said come back when i find a cave but that’s kind of a cool shot isn’t it i don’t know except for the floating tree part over there um we get to use our red bed for the first time it’s very monumentous moment

So i figured i’d come back oh yeah dude nice what a deal okay well before we go in a cave i do want to try something out just because i feel like it’s been so long i know i said i wouldn’t use my diamond pickaxe but how is fortune 3

Right because there’s just like a small little coal vein over here maybe a few pieces of coal a few splotches here and there i just want to see how much coal this is because it’s been a long time i haven’t had fortune 3 in quite a while

Oh it feels good again to have it it’s so much better so we’ll see maybe a stack maybe no 31 okay one you know that’s a little disappointing but you know you know 1.18 really is a beautiful beautiful version of minecraft i still haven’t found a cave

Which you know in the aptly named caves and cliffs well it doesn’t appear very apt right now eventually i’m hoping i’ll find a very good cave i know somewhere somewhere along the way i will find where i’ll find a cave i can’t talk either i haven’t recorded a video in

Like a week and a half maybe two weeks so you know when you stop doing something that you you know have to like get warmed up to do something’s a little rough but yeah i still haven’t found a cave i you know i don’t want to not show any

Exploration but i don’t want to just like show me running around ooh blue orchids um but yeah i just i don’t know i feel like there’s gotta be caves somewhere really close to here uh but unfortunately there’s not what is that oh jeez i think we went wait no

You guys remember that thing in like the first few episodes that i built onto right oh i gotta help i can help the trees we do have to help the trees it’s a pact i made with uh with an old version of minecraft i said anytime i

See a fire i will help the trees how how are you how are okay i’m gonna say how are you existing okay we helped one tree right we’re fine every what you know what whatever water doesn’t do what it said it what it promised to do look at that isn’t that cool

I just don’t know what on earth like what what biome is this a shattered savannah or something i mean it has to be right let’s go check it out it looks pretty interesting oh yeah well i got up that little hill right there i was gonna cut the camera

Until i saw something cool um it’s a swept savannah whatever that means oh okay well let’s see and let’s hope that this cave goes down deep let me turn up the shaders because the shaders get kind of buggy underground and they also don’t really look different underground either okay that’s a water cave

[Laughter] well maybe we maybe we could find a normal cave in here i’ll tell you what though dude this fortune 3 i found a few coal you know pockets and mined them off camera oh look at that we’re already over a stack absolutely wonderful uh please go down deeper please buddy

Don’t do me like this i see you creeper you’ll try out our new bow one shot it’s only power four i forgot we can get power five but you know if it can hold on how close to a one shot are you one hit two hit no three hit no wow okay

Well i tried to figure it out and i couldn’t so whenever you can’t find a cave what i would highly recommend doing is just digging straight down so we’re going to take our efficiency for pickaxe and please don’t hit anything bad please don’t do it to me yeah you might call this reckless

I call this being adventurous please no we just hit some dirt that’s gonna put a hammer oh wait no no no look we have this efficiency for shovel okay there we go okay back to being adventurous oh there’s some iron that is something that we do need we

Should probably use a fortune three though that was only six okay so how low are we we’re only at y11 i always forget how deep this is this world is now so if all else fails well we almost died but we’re okay okay we’re fine we’re just gonna sit here

Regenerate our health we still have 136 levels to enchant all the diamond gear that we get from this trip and right off the bat we literally fell directly into a giant orbain so i’m gonna mine this bad boy out and we’re gonna see what kind of stuff we can get let me take

Some time here i’m literally gonna try to mine out every bit of it because we need iron badly and with fortune three i’m seeing five or six stacks let’s try it don’t hate me i only got is it diamonds no don’t hate me but i only got a little bit

Uh i couldn’t i couldn’t find where it went like i started mining i was just like like what is that what are you yeah i don’t like you but yeah i did not get very much we have like 40 iron but that’s fine that’s better than what we

Had right so let’s explore this cave we didn’t really look around at all so it’s definitely a decently sized cave i know you guys are having a little bit of trouble seeing what layer we have okay only negative 19. so we need to go lower for sure

Huh my brightness is on bright right yep it’s on bright so i do apologize that sometimes it’s a little bit dark in the caves oh there’s another big one oh dude that’s just mean it’s under water too i might as well get this on her no

Dude i just zoomed in down there look at this do you see that i was like wait i’m not playing i’ve been playing some modded minecraft in my week off too and i was like wait there’s nothing modded in this this is vanilla minecraft there’s a dungeon right there

Like just like directly down let me mine this and we’re gonna go check that out what the heck dude okay i’ve gotten enough enough of this vein i think oh wait there’s more above the surface no oh there’s a raw block let’s go dude okay okay we probably have enough but

Like it’s hard to stop when you’re in one of these because you know like the chance you’ll find a raw block and that’s nine and okay so we do have a good bet now okay all right um but yeah in 1.8 or 1.18 the chance that you dig straight down and

Hit a big old cave is pretty high so i would highly recommend it like i said if you’re having trouble finding a cave if you’re ever in doubt just start digging down look it goes even deeper right there i cannot believe the cave we found like i really can’t like i die

There’s literally a dungeon exposed in the cave i don’t know i’ve just i’ve never had trouble finding dungeons i don’t i don’t know what it is i really don’t this is like the seventh dungeon we found in this series and we found a slime that’s actually really good

Um i want to take care of him in a minute what is over here anything i’m just trying to look around make sure i don’t miss any diamonds because apparently i missed some diamonds in an episode prior to this and people were oh mineshaft let’s go

I cannot believe i dug down into this cave that that is oh it’s nice for creepers it’s actually really nice i wonder if we could send them exploding off into the disc oh yeah you have a bow look what i have it’s a diamond snow

I do love having a bow i have missed it quite a bit because it just makes fighting so much easier it’s so much easier look at that easy peasy lemon squeezy oh that’s where they’re coming from probably the dungeon right next to me why can’t i hit

Okay so it’s probably a zombie dungeon yes it is sweet anything good no anything good no i mean some iron some string we don’t really need it we don’t i don’t need those music discs they’re all the same thing okay and there’s a nice big pillar in here what’s that

Just part of a biome yeah dude this is a massive cave and exposed if you guys want the coordinates of this you can go and find him right there negative six thousand negative six thousand ish no dude did the slime despawn it’s okay if it did at least we know

Kind of where they will spawn see that’s helpful for creepers it actually is helpful uh but yeah i don’t know where the slime like went i i guess it just despawned which is unfortunate that minecraft does that but it does have a tendency to just kind of make mobs disappear sometimes

But uh hey if that’s the way oh nice thank you for uh destroying the gravel there buddy [Laughter] oh dude what what are the chances you find two exposed dungeons within like i don’t know 50 blocks of each other are we gonna find more done dude this is

Gonna be the luckiest mining trip ever maybe i don’t know actually but maybe what the heck dude what are the chances of something like that like look we got a dungeon you could see the dungeons like what excuse me sir i’d like to uh i’d like to

Cash out on my luck for uh a thousand emeralds i don’t have any emeralds that’s one thing we gotta focus on we gotta get some sort of like emerald farm or something i don’t know who knows what this cave holds now but all i gotta say is this

Cave has some good luck to it so we may end up finding a lot of stuff and yes i’ll check the dungeon chest in a second i was just super confused that i’d blast protection for and i will take the name tag i will take the name tag

What makes all of this better though is is just the fact that i dug straight down and managed to find this otherwise you know finding two dungeons would have been like yeah but the fact that i just dug into a cave ah that’s crazy anything else in here there’s some diamonds

There’s some diamonds there’s some diamonds i’m looking for i’m looking for dungeons though i’m just kidding i’ll get the diamonds in a second i just want to get a lay of the land don’t shoot me oh dude we found one remember last time we were looking for one it took forever

Like we were struggling to find any lush caves and now we just found one without even trying i think the world is happy that we’re speeding it up and we’re trying to get a mega base because i see you know i i do these i see the hermits building them and and

I’m like dude i gotta i gotta i gotta build a mega base i can’t promise it’s gonna be as mega as theirs or as good but i will do my best which is the best that anyone can do and uh you know since it’s the first one ever maybe it won’t be the

If this is a okay this is probably not a zombie dungeon i don’t know i’m just like i’m like now i think every mob here is from a dungeon where was that diamond okay it’s right there uh i guess we can kind of get close to it sorta just a wee bit closer

Okay there we go hopefully there’s more than one okay there is good no not the water where’d you go sweet diamonds where’d you go no where’d they go where did they go oh don’t tell me they went in here did i pick them up it didn’t seem like i

Picked them up i really don’t think i did pick them up i mean i guess i must have so that’s one thing is that supposedly water caves are just filled with diamonds so let’s go in here just for a second i know we don’t have any water breathing potions or anything like that

But just for a moment here we can explore you know we could make some doors there’s diamonds we need to make a door we need to make a door wait wait how do we get out of here please tell me this is the exit okay oh dude i was i was actually nervous

Because i didn’t did not expect that to be so big okay so we’ll make a few doors here we don’t need like a ton maybe nine is enough okay able to pick this up too we got any junk we don’t need this don’t need this or this there’s some stuff in

Here that i don’t want to keep i am gonna have to get a ton and i mean a ton of smooth stone um but having a silk touch pickaxe will definitely help with that um and i i know i have a silk touch pickaxe right now but i’m just trying to

Get enough gear to get op diamond the op died yep that’s yep that’s it nailed it dude because it’s a full pocket yes dude finally our first full eight pocket so i said i wanted to get a stack if we can is this a double diamond pocket i mean it had nine

I don’t really think that’s possible unless it’s a double we already have half of a stack of diamonds and we’ve been down here for like i don’t know less than like 15 minutes this is probably the greatest episode i think in the series so far

Oh my gosh oh we can swim up oh dude this world is cracked what the heck oh oh i’m getting good vibes from this that’s probably why there’s so many diamonds down here is this is like almost touching bedrock down here guys like this is super deep there’s two diamond pockets right nick

Dude dude no way Oh there’s another cave below whoa wait wait wait wait we can talk about this where’d the other one go i don’t know um let’s see is there something so there’s a cave under this cave no we’ve already been in here have we been in here

Okay i’ll i’ll put it this way if we can find a third dungeon if we can find a third dungeon then i will consider this the best caving expedition we’ve ever had but only if we find a third dungeon diamonds like yeah they’re nice and stuff but

No three dungeons on one trip that would be that would be something it’s really a 42 diamonds okay uh don’t do it to me dude i’m having a great time please don’t ruin it okay really yeah i guess there’s no sharpness on this thing yeah i really gotta i really gotta fix
