Like blue trees I’m gonna make it my point in this let’s play to not use any default wood types okay that’s that’s one thing another thing to note is that I don’t know what anything does in this I I literally I I have no idea so I’m

I wanted to switch it up play a vanilla plus mod pack and hopefully the people that like vanilla Let’s Plays will enjoy this because it’s very similar to Minecraft it’s not like those modded those mod packs have have a bunch of machines and stuff like that it’s all

Stuff that seems like it would fit in Minecraft like a different color crafting table a pine crafting table now this big old menu you see on the side is basically a better version of this recipe book so you know how you can search for recipes and stuff in here

Well this essentially is that just a little bit better so if I wanted to look up all the stuff that Pinewood can make you can see all of these right here so we could make a pine chair if we wanted to for example we’re gonna be able to

Make some nice looking houses dude like I’m look at that the items actually stay on the crafting table and they rotate towards you like that so and it tells you what it’s gonna craft above there so we can like make little crafting stations and leave recipes in there oh

Dude I have so many cool ideas for this so let’s go ahead and just get some base tools here I’m gonna gather up a little bit more pine wood I really like the pine wood um I guess it was from a oh these trees are a little bit bigger we’ll use our uh

Bao Bob logs it sounds like a maybe an Asian wood maybe like a Taiwanese wood I’m really not sure man if someone knows let me know but just adding more wood types and stuff like that oh we just cut down the whole tree we just cut down the whole tree okay

That’s pretty sweet man I mean this whole world is just looking crazy dude absolutely crazy so I did opt for no shaders I feel like this is already different enough from vanilla Minecraft you guys didn’t need shaders as well mini melons um yeah I think I will take some mini

Melons that sounds delicious now do I eat the whole melon because that’s like as big as Steve’s head do you really eat the whole melon no you don’t can you craft it into oh I see she crafted in the mini I almost really like those but we do need food we are playing

On hard mode so we can die if we don’t eat enough so we’re definitely gonna make sure and eat now my question is does this spawn naturally did a bridge spawn between two like areas that were separated by water because like in this instance it didn’t

Crafted backpack is one of the quests but obtain a blue journal I don’t know what this is I really don’t I don’t I don’t know what it is but we did get some XP and we should probably look at these books so the start of a new adventure welcome to

Better Minecraft this mod APAC does not focus around quests okay cool and then the animal dictionary so these are all the new animals it adds to the game we have Bears different kinds of birds a blob fish and you can even click into it and look at it look

Out how do you make a dragon’s breath like I have no idea how to make a dragon’s breath but there’s all these different like tiers of netherite that we get to work through which is really fun so that stuff I’ll have to do outside research about or you guys can help me

Texture I don’t want it to be so flat so I wanted to kind of make it look like it was together with that’s too many I wanted it to feel like it was together with all this Stone I hope this is making some sense I know

It’s probably a little like uh you know why are you just putting a bunch of random blocks but that’s the thing that’s the thing about some texturing you just want to kind of put stuff down where it feels right now this is going to be a problem this is going to fall

Onto my house oh no okay luckily these are really easy to break the mod craters were very smart when they did this and they made them very easy to break yeah something like that and I’m thinking since we want that bridge over here we’re gonna want our actual entrance like right here

Should be pretty easy to do and it’s in a good spot too so I’m gonna go ahead I’m gonna move these chests because we don’t really want them right here right now and uh oh and we can probably put all of our like you know wooden stuff into this chest for right

Now that way we can get right back into building okay now obviously this is not the permanent setup and this is quite a small home um and it’s not done so at least we have everything somewhat organized we can go ahead we could just put a crafting table

Down but let’s grab all of our wooden materials and let’s start to figure out how we want so how do these interact with the side of a block okay so they can stick directly to it that’s actually really cool that means I mean we can literally just add more texture to the house

And you may you may think that it looks bad but trust me in due time I think you’ll learn to love this I think it’s really cool actually the fact that you can put all these blocks just kind of randomly on things for texture now I’m sure they have a greater

Purpose right for example I’m pretty sure we can use them to step Stone up here now it looks like this is a half block higher so we could do this and then we’d have to walk onto the edge which is fine but up here we want a roof right we’re

Obviously not just gonna have these raw logs and this raw wood sticking up but I need another material and uh there is a lot of woods near us maybe we can go down there and get some of that wood that’s kind of purple that might be cool

And all we got to do to get up and down at this current time is if we just put a water bucket then we can just swim all the way back up so we’ll do that for now maybe we’ll go explore what this is real quick and before I end up dead

I should probably sleep in my bed so our waterfall should be making it down here about now I’m gonna go right click on my bed I’m gonna set my spawn point I’m gonna kill the fly no one needs the Flies and then we’re gonna go get some

Of that cool looking wood and we’re gonna see what that’s all about so respond point is set they should be all the way down now you would think it’s a little risky what I’m doing but it works nice dude and I bet that waterfall looks absolutely magnificent with all the

Particles now when you’re when you’re kind of far away you know it doesn’t spawn them all but the closer you can get you can see you get a little bit more detail now I do have two axes good now what is this wood color that’s the only thing I

Don’t want to use it if it’s some really weird color like what color does this turn into oh that’s actually fine these two Woods are so similar that they fit in a palette together actually really nicely I like that a lot well this is the Jacaranda oh okay

Well cool and it looks nice when you break a tree down I mean in real life you know it would leave a bunch of stuff on the ground so the the mod developers when they made this were really thoughtful of how the real world works and I really like that

That is a big deal to me cool okay well I’ll meet you guys back up at the house we just needed like a few materials like that I may end up getting a few more things I don’t really know what we need at this point maybe we

Should start some somewhat of a mine or something we could do that down here but we’re gonna need some sort of staircase to get up to our house because we can’t use this water bucket forever we can’t use it forever okay well we’re back up here

And we have a lot of options for how we want to do the roof and like I said you can see all the little particles coming off of it now it just looks so cool it looks so neat and I just love that when

I hop in the water I actually get to see it so let’s use some of the Jacaranda wood and let’s make a door what does a door look like okay nice little texture on the door oh and it actually fits flush that’s kind of nice so I think

This is the banister I’m pretty sure or sorry the Palisade and it looks like it’s almost like a wall made of wood and we could even go with another wood type and we can even make some more of these out of the Jacaranda wood just to give it even more texture use

Some of the Holly as well and then I wonder what sort of hold on let’s look at Holly again Wally uh what can we use maybe I don’t want to use doors I feel like we could use maybe seats could seats work I mean we need fence

For those there’s not like hard to make but I’m curious if we made some of this out of this okay and then we made some of this out of this I want to make 18 of each and then how do I make the seats again

A slab of each wood type so Holly we’re gonna need a few more slabs of this okay so that makes seats and then we need some slabs of this okay and then we put this below it maybe so much wood now there’s so much wood now I’m curious could you make this

Into like a roof you kind of could actually that’s kind of what I’m going for actually looks really cool kind of like a Pergola almost as the roof in the front and we’re going to kind of mold this and texture it together and see if we can’t come up with something really

Cool so I think I made I didn’t make more no I did make more Palisade there we go and then we can do the seats I can maybe even put a support here and then let’s go where are the seats at right here and right here and then let’s build up a

Little bit and then we can kind of just like put the seats like this now are they going to go sideways no okay it’s actually really cool and we can kind of mix them in together you know what I mean like some of these can be

Oh how do I know what direction they’re gonna go oh they go the direction you’re facing that makes sense just to kind of mix the wood types in a little bit do they go the way you’re facing so if I’m facing this way then it should go this way no

Wait so then if I’m facing the other way Okay I don’t know how it works yet we will we will learn eventually it looks like sometimes it works that way and then other times it’s not that way I don’t really know okay that’s kind of interesting and then we can bring down a support right here because it connects

Quite nicely and looks really good and we’ll do like one of these one of these and one of those oh yeah see it actually looks pretty cool and then this support right there kind of supports it in the front interesting it’s definitely a better house than what

I’m used to I think it looks pretty cool well let’s sleep let’s build ourselves a roof which I’m really not looking forward to because I’m just not very good at roofs but I think we can come up with something pretty interesting we have these supports right

Which are you know not only for just building up randomly but I think they might be good for a roof but I don’t know what kind of roof to do that’s why we got the Jacaranda wood just to kind of mix in here into the palette and make it look good

We’ll go ahead and put all the supports around and then we can find our way up here I’m sure there’s got to be some path up to the roof yes just like that perfect and then we can use this stuff and I’m just going to kind of build an outline

An outline of where I want the roof to be which should be like one block out from where everything else is so I’m gonna go around and do that in just a bit okay so I built that little outline here and now I’m just going to build kind of like a pointed roof

Now it has kind of an odd shape which is fine I’ll go back after the fact and texture it but I’m basically just going to go up by two every time and then I’ll go inside one and then up by two again so that’s what I’m currently doing at

This moment in time I don’t want you to feel left out in the build process but it’s not a whole lot to see at this current time because I just have to kind of follow the same pattern all the way around the house

And then we go up oh I just place it on the side of a block oh I see so you can’t see so you can place blocks like if I want to place one right there you can see how those things pop up oh kind of like how it is in Bedrock

Almost that’s actually really helpful that’s actually really really helpful because I mean to be fair you can always hang over the side of a block and place it but sometimes you’re in a situation where it’s a tad bit more difficult I actually really like that another little better version of

Minecraft type of deal and then I’ll go in one diagonally again and up by two so I’ll continue doing this okay so we’re at the top of this roof and I don’t want to just make it a normal roof so what I’m going to do is I’m going to put these all along

Oh oh oh okay I’m not sure why those ones have little pointy things up how can I why are they why do they look different now how did I do that why why how did I how did I I’m so confused why do they look different now they have like a

What did I do I guess I changed them and now they have a little pointy thingy I’m not totally sure what I did that’s uh that’s definitely interesting maybe if you click on them or something I don’t I don’t know that that’s that’s okay we’ll just use the uh the Hollywood seats then

That was interesting I I don’t know someone can explain to me what happened uh but I don’t I definitely don’t know what just happened there so since we’re in a nice aerate environment I feel like it’s okay if the roof you know just has little slits in the top to let all the

Hot air escape from our home okay something like that and then maybe even put these on the side here just for the aesthetic now I can’t really look at the house from a far distance away because it’s like well we can’t really fly we could however build off to the side just

To see how it looks because when I take a screenshot I’ll have to go into spectator mode because otherwise it’s impossible there’s no replay mod but if we look at our house oh well it just looks kinda I’m not really sure to be honest with you it looks kind of like a mushroom

In a way but I don’t really have a whole you know what for a starter house we’ll go ahead and say it’s fine I don’t really have a whole lot of materials anyways and to be fair the biggest issue I have with the house I can fix in like two

Seconds the roof doesn’t really connect to the actual like house it just kind of I don’t really know what you’d call this so we’re just gonna kind of randomly place these in no particular order and then we can kinda I I have an idea I have an idea we’ll

Just put it that way so something like this make sure they’re somewhat random cool and then we can probably go up above them you know what I can do if they don’t connect in a corner we can kind of connect them for ourselves I’m just trying a bunch of new things in this

Okay I don’t know what I’m doing but we’re just trying something new and then we can put just like slabs or something like that and then they’ll be actually connected if that makes sense that way it doesn’t feel like okay so I could place further than that block that’s actually really nice man

I really like these little quality of life improvements that they’ve added very very helpful thank you better Minecraft mod pack assemblers for including these mods now I don’t wanna hmm because I could just make another crafting a little impromptu crafting table never hurt anyone so we’ll go

Ahead and do that make a few more of these slabs I don’t know if we’ll need that many maybe 54 is probably enough and then we’ll look at this and I bet it’ll look a lot better because it didn’t look like it was connected and then especially from the

Inside it was gonna look really strange and then down here we’ll kind of repeat the same thing where we have the slabs and I think that’ll lend to a really nice looking yeah something like that it also gives a lot more texture in here makes it not feel so flat

Yeah that’s really cool and maybe we’ll do something like that there there we go that way the only holes are kind of in the top of the build now if we look at it from the side I bet it looks a lot better you know what actually that does look

Pretty good and we could go around to be fair maybe put some supports in and maybe that would help with the build I I really don’t know there’s so many little things but then that doesn’t connect to anything so you can put another support on that side

And then it just looks like it’s just kind of there I don’t know man I really I really don’t know but it it definitely adds something to it see those aren’t really connected but that’s okay interesting now if I break this is that going to fall into my roof a little bit

Okay maybe no no more planting the Holly trees up here yeah now they’re kind of falling onto my home a little bit but maybe that’s what I need around my house it’s just a little bit of a little bit of spruced spruced upness a little bit a little bit

Of spruce life I can’t jump out of this which is kind of confusing it’s so hard to navigate okay uh we’ll put a slab here in a slab there we’ll get our get ourselves out of there so I think this is definitely a good end to

The first episode we have done quite a bit I may end up removing that Spruce because yeah it’s kind of a pain if you get stuck in it we’ve done quite a bit we’ve explored quite a bit I’m just happy that I’m in better Minecraft because this is really fun
