These 6 Minecraft Bugs Just Got Fixed, And 6 Others That Need Fixing! (1.16 Nether Update Beta)

Hello everyone sally here and welcome back to another episode of bug rock of the week today we’ll be taking another look at the 1.16 and nether update betas for the bedrock edition of minecraft however today’s episode is going to be a little bit different than normal typically we either cover bugs that need

To be fixed in bedrock edition or we cover bugs that were recently fixed and recent betas however today we’re going to be kind of doing a combo episode and doing both so we’re going to be taking a look at six bugs that absolutely need to be fixed in the 1.16 another update

Some more information to them if you have it and otherwise just interact with them in general the more interaction on the book reports the absolute better as it helps the developers prioritize what to fix first and also if you’re playing in the 1.16 betas or just in bedrock

I know what i’m reading otherwise that’s enough rambling let’s check out the bugs so our first bug is one that a lot of you have let me know about in the comment section and on twitter and in discord and basically everywhere and that is that gold ore is completely

Unsmeltable in the current betas as you can see we can put it into a blast furnace and simply it does not smelt down we can put it into a regular furnace and it doesn’t smelt down either however the nether gold ore does actually smelt down and works properly

And perfectly fine so that’s still working normal gold just needs to be fixed and i’m sure that’s a pretty easy fix we’ll likely see a fix for this and the next couple of betas just a little side note i think we have some new noises for walking on another brick

As you can see it’s kind of like a high pitch kind of like tile sound it’s really cool moving away from the nether we’re now in the end dimension of course and cave sounds can still play while you’re in the end dimension raiding in cities fighting the dragon

Doing any and all of the in-dimension related things and obviously cave sounds they’re they’re far too creepy for the end dimension and they do not belong in the end and uh overall basically cave sounds they just need a lot of work in general they play far too often they

Play in the end dimension and they just need quite a bit of tuning personally i think it would be very very nice if we just got full audio options for like you know ambient sounds animals blocks hostile mobs i think we need a lot more control over our sound

Settings in a bedrock edition and now that they have added these ambient sounds because as you can see the music is awful but we can still hear them so there’s basically no way of removing them or turning them down without a texture pack or just straight up turning off your basic audio

Oh yeah there’s also cave sounds in the nether there goes another one maybe that’s not an actual cave sound but like is it just me or the cave sounds kind of getting to me now our next bug is a rather small one however now the right shovels cannot

Extinguish campfires which is a very niche feature to be missing and i’m very surprised that this is actually a bug in the game i kind of thought that they would just copy paste all the code from the diamond shovel and then basically re-texture it and change some attributes but

I don’t know how to code a game and that’s apparently not how you code things so yeah another right shovels cannot extinguish campfires unlike all the other shovels in the game and here’s another really weird bug related to the end dimension so as you can see the light in the overworld is well

Light everything looks exactly how it should if we go into the end dimension and then leave the end dimension you can see that the light in the overworld is now going to be quite broken it’s kind of hard to describe but everything is far darker than it should be and it’s almost like

The sun isn’t even out as you can see everything is just kind of like pale and dark and green we kind of have like the in dimension lighting and the overworld and this is simply just by going to the end and then leaving no dying no weird glitches no timings

Nothing sketchy literally just leaving the end dimension breaks the lighting of the overworld this is a pretty massive bug luckily it is a very easy bug to fix simply log out of the game and then log back in and your lighting will be fixed

So our next bug has to do with a missing crafting recipe for the chains chains are obviously a wonderful beautiful absolutely amazing gorgeous lovely insanely awesome beautiful block that is a very nice thing to have in the game however currently on the bedrock edition we are missing the crafting recipe so

The crafting recipe for chains is typically an ironing in the center and the nuggets above and below it but as you can see that has not quite been added to bedrock edition and or it is completely broken so who knows either way it needs to be added to bedrock

Edition because we want these chains and uh having to rate these bastions for it is not quite a good thing also a couple of small things that i noticed while i am here is that the magma cube spawner is actually missing as you can see this one has the chain

Typically there be a magma cube spawner right underneath that which by the way magma cube spawners amazing oh hi uh uh i i did not summon you also you’re wearing a saddle already uh okay then hi there random random guy and lava cool and also another thing that i noticed i’m getting

Distracted is there’s two pieces of netherrite armor in here and these guys are gonna hate me now okay time to just not be here thanks so this next bug isn’t necessarily specific to the another update it’s been around for a while however the nether update is the

Perfect time to talk about it and that is the fact that gas have well let’s just put it politely terrible aim they suck at killing things even when you’re completely stationary uh yeah they can’t do anything to you as you can see they haven’t hit me at all

I do have some fire resistance but that’s just about it i don’t have enough regeneration to be immortal either and uh as you can see he’s literally just like terrible he’s not even blowing up blocks anymore they’ve already had a couple of changes in a couple of bug fixes so i feel like

Now is a good time to you know maybe add this one to the list and as you can see i have literally no effects and even even still i’m just standing here he can’t do anything uh they’re definitely cute and tiny giant marshmallows that are completely harmless so that concludes the first

Half of this video taking a look at six bugs that need to be fixed in the 1.16 updates let’s go ahead and take a look at six bugs that have already been fixed for the 1.16 update starting off with a very simple yet very nice quality of

Life a bug fix and this has to do with armor stands being able to stay inside of blocks typically if you would have an armor stand inside of a block like so then as soon as you reload the area or relog of the world then that armor stand

Would move outside the block and end up like just out in the open it would basically just clip out of there into an open area so this little beta has fixed this bug in its entirety so we can go ahead and set up this little test right

Here where we have all these different kinds of blocks push those down into the armor stands from above push them into the armor stands from the sides and then we’re going to go ahead and re-log to see what happens so as you can see logging back in and

These armor stands are still where we left them meaning that we can do all different kinds of really awesome and decorative things such as with armor stands holding items for display cases trophy cases all kinds of different things in your minecraft worlds this is going to make so many different builders

Happy because now you can add that extra layer of detail to your builds and personally this is also going to make zloy very happy as well because he loves to use this feature so this next bug fix is a little bit more technical and this has to do with a bedrock of breaking

Using snow layers this is something that i’ve showed on the channel several times already and as you can see as soon as no layers fall onto a button or really anything that they typically shouldn’t then they’ll just break off into snowballs i’ve messed around with this a little bit trying different items that

They may or may not be able to land on and basically every single time they break off into snowballs so it would appear to be a pretty solid bug fix now i would show you or at least a link to the actual you know bug report for this bug however

It’s actually a private bug report which is a thing that you can make if you ever do find any game breaking bugs in the game like duplication glitches hacks cheats security exploits or anything like that you can make a private bug report that only you and the developers

Can see and that is what happened with this particular situation also it may be in your best interest to report these kinds of bugs as private in the first place simply to avoid community backlash because quite a few people are very fond of these things and they are very very vocal it’s certainly

A minority but they can be uh quite pungent at times anyway whoever reported this one thank you it is a bug it is now fixed and of course there are always other ways of breaking bedrock so it’s not really going to have any long-term lasting effects on technical minecraft

We also have a really nice bug fix for hostile mobs like creepers and skeletons and no longer being able to spawn in bright areas where they shouldn’t i’m going to assume this one is related to the other bug that we’ve covered several times where light would not transport

Past the chunk borders and this bug has also of course been fixed in the 1.16 betas now i’ve never seen hostile mobs spawning in bright areas of where they shouldn’t so i don’t really have anything to test or demonstrate with this bug however it is a very nice of

Bugafix to have in the game of course and if you see any hostile mobs spawning where they shouldn’t then make sure to update the bug report linked in the description of the video that way the developers can take a look at it and make sure this one is fully fixed we

Also have one pretty nice bug fix of four guardian farms guardians will now be able to spawn in a bubble columns which means that we have a lot more flexibility and the types of farms that we make as you can see all these guardians are spawning in here and then

They’re dying on the magma blocks as well which is pretty cool let’s go ahead and switch out the floor for soul sand and we’ll see them spawn in that as well and there we go we got guys spawning in these souls and bubble columns as well

So that’s pretty cool this is going to open up a lot of different opportunities and for guardian farms and it should be pretty fun if nothing else we can now just like send them straight up into a lava chamber or something stupid and next up we have another very very

Nice bug fix that you may not have even realized was a bug however it used to be that all kinds of different mobs that were sitting in boats would be able to reach extremely far when they were trying to attack you so for example if we were standing right here that zombie

Would be able to hit us so now we gotta get actually really close to the boat for the zombie to be able to hit us pretty much within a singular block same goes for all of these different types of mobs he doesn’t want to attack me yeah

As you can see we got to get really close for these guys to be able to hit us even really close to the ravanger as well hi literally inside of your head and you do not care that’s fine i’m sure this is okay going into a thumbnail this is gonna be

Ever so nice if we’re transporting mobs whether it is in a boat or a minecart or what have you and this is gonna be such a nice equality of life change i’ll have you know that 1.16 has fixed five bugs with boats yes five there’s this one

There’s the one where they would clip into the ground the one where they wouldn’t move when placed on any of these blocks the one where buttons counted as blue ice and the one where they stored momentum if you got out of them while riding them so boats are

Getting a massive overhaul i hope you guys like boats because they’re actually really nice now and they don’t have any more bugs as far as i’m aware which is actually kind of a first something in bedrock that doesn’t have a bug with it that can’t be right and there was yet

Another bug where mobs would not burn on a lower half of slabs this is something that we’ve seen a few times in a truly bedrock where zombies would just kind of stay on a slab they would not burn in the daylight and that has finally been

Fixed as well so that is a pretty cool fix so naturally if you find any bugs while playing in the 1.16 betas please put them on the bug tracker there is a video linked in the description on how to make a bug reports for your convenience or if you want to you can
