Thete – Nether Jungle — 3 Million Or Bust | Hardcore Minecraft Day 10392

Hello world Pete here welcome um so yeah we are going to be uh mining Netherrack um that’s a huge surprise I’m sure like uh absolutely uh completely unexpected but uh yeah we’re gonna be excuse me trying to mine some of this uh Netherrack and yeah let’s turn the

Shaders off so we don’t have to deal with the lag and yeah we’re gonna uh see how close we can get to 3 million Netherrack before day 10 400 which is quickly approaching um I don’t think we’re gonna get to uh three million Netherrack uh before then but um

I do feel confident that we can get pretty close um and maybe instead of like going to void station straight away at eight ten thousand four hundred I’ll Stick Around uh long enough to reach that coveted Milestone but I am uh in the meantime just uh working on um trying to uh

I’m working on just trying to mine as much netherrackers I can to uh it’s uh close to that goal um hello Regina welcome to the stream how’s it going as one might expect we are back to mining Netherrack and we are about 65 000 Netherrack away from 3 million

Which is not as much as you would think it’s actually a pretty feasible goal like uh maybe not on this stream but uh within the next day or so I think it’s entirely feasible that we could reach uh 3 million this uh section that I’m doing right now

Is uh actually like uh one of the few set few remaining sections above the nether ocean where the uh ceiling is too low so I need to raise it to uh be uh more like the rest of the um because yeah low ceilings are not pots they just make the rest they

Drag down the rest of the buildings make it look ugly so we are raising all the ceilings up to like why 105 or so um ancient debris two ancient debris at like y95 that’s pretty unusual actually okay we have them in the inventory all right this way

There isn’t too much uh nether act to mine in this chunk as you can see it’s like a pretty thin layer um so be able to uh get through it pretty quickly and then we can move on to that one over there all right now time to go down two more levels

We’re just straight up of everything in the case of this another rack to eat at Netherrack all right that Netherrack has now been needed so we can press on and x minus 30 we will continue mining down okay yeah we have to be careful not to like fall into any of these pitfalls

That’s another Hub over there obviously um so that should give us give you some reference as to like where another jungle I am but yeah this Netherrack has been annoying me for months so it’s time to finally get rid of it I think it States from like it dates from like uh

An earlier period when I um didn’t when I didn’t uh know how high I wanted the ceilings of another jungle to be but uh yeah spoiler alerts I want them to be kind of high so all of this has to go it’s nice to like be in range of my

Beacon Powers as a mining mess at least oh but hey it’s no big deal uh we can just Rip Tide wait those aren’t Rockets there we go uh that was a little excessive I think I’ll keep this elytra on though so that uh in the event of any further surprises I

Can just uh fly instead of doing this uh zero says why all by hand um I’m not doing it by hand I’m using a pickaxe doing it by hand would um if I can even doing it by hand would take forever so that’s not what I’m doing um

Obviously using a pickaxe too insta9 yeah I I could there’s no way I could possibly do this by hand it would just be like incredibly tedious and kind of silly wait a minute pickaxes available anyway welcome to the stream and hope you’re enjoying so now we go out to minus 50. I should

Eat some food thank you all right and then after this layer is finished I think we just have like one more layer and we can go on to that section although I will and once this chunk is done check the stats because I am sort of curious how much uh Netherrack I’ve actually

Mined yeah it’s okay if I’ve forgotten if I’ll have gotten to uh 2.94 million yet probably not but you never know okay so satisfying with the final layer of Netherrack goes I wonder if it’s like one thick everywhere in this chunk at this point well in some cases it’s zero thick it’s

Like completely missing so I have to be careful not to fall through and I have to wait to Rocket getting back up wasting Rockets is not pop at all waiting Rockets really sets but I try not to generally yeah fortunately uh it seems like we are going to be able to uh

Finish this section with no further interruptions you’ll have to see it remind this and then remind us foreign and with that another chunk has been fully terraformed ow um okay the chest plate on now and concentrate on this chunk over here all right where is X okay 100.

All right this is where we uh I’m gonna pick up some of these brown mushrooms too I don’t really know why but uh could be called a half that around excuse me stupid lava there we go excuse me it’s not burning so then go out to um minus 150 over here excuse me

So much random lava like wait it says nether waste but there’s like all this Basalt Delta stuff here it’s weird out here assault Delta what is this area anyway it’s weird we just have to uh a bit of the salt oh I forgot to check the stats we are at 2938

000 so it’s about 62 000 netherect to go I don’t think we’re getting there on this stream but we can try just slowly chip away at the Netherrack and slowly chip away at our sanity in the process but it will all be worth it if nethertonville turns out well in the end That pigment deserves to die don’t ask why because crimes were existing being a member of the piglet species I guess I just told you why even though I told you also not to ask why but yeah we do not want any Penguins spawning in this area

There’s going to be an area for the Steve’s and creatures that the Steve’s allowed to live it’s not for just random nether mobs all right so now we have to hide all this crap we are this area is starting to take shape now so we can sort of get a sense

Of like the area that we have to find out soon so this is the area that we are going to be mining out so let’s get started shall we um come out to minus 60. and given the wait how far down does this like

A while ago okay it goes down to like a few blocks it’s like not too bad I think there we go another pick one limited from existence wait am I muted in paranoid now I’m not muted okay it’s just a slow day that makes sense the Netherrack must be destroyed

Netherland I must be destroyed all right um let’s do with go up to 70 now 70 okay two what’s that stupid lava who’s that guy I don’t discriminate all penguins are bad whether they’re zombified or not enjoy the jump scare I am going to remove my coat because it

Is getting rather hot for some reason okay there we go coat has been removed all right I think it’s time to go back and repair this pickaxe oh I was there like a giant lava column going down that’s probably going to create an obnoxious lava cast on the uh bye another ocean

So you don’t have to watch out for that oh I forgot to activate the music there we go yeah um much better to have a stream of music we will check the engine to put in there make as much gold as humanly possible all right and then we fetch some emeralds and

Repair this pickaxe Thank you all right and then some more XP bottles over here I’m still annoyed that I accidentally punched uh one of my clerics to death with a pickaxe this guy it actually was an accident I meant to like right click on him to trade but left clicked with my pickaxe

And because of strength too and I guess it wasn’t on full health I was able to finish him off all right deadly um no worries have fun I don’t care the live streams are intentionally boring and in general yeah there seems to be some misconception about the purpose of this channel it is

Really just to keep it like a video log of my progress in my hardcore world it is not really about um like um getting views excuse me um I mean I don’t particularly care I mean I don’t particularly mind getting views so obviously I’m not gonna just

Make it unlisted since I don’t really I’m not any reviews but there’s certainly not really a goal for me um okay I need to eat but uh yeah it’s just to uh foreign count is it is okay we’re past 2.94 million that’s rather pot down there we have to okay we still

Have ways down to go for uh the section’s finished and then why is there a random tunnel here that’s weird where does it go I’m curious nice of a tunnel that just doesn’t go anywhere so weird the things you find in a long-term hardcore world minus 90. yes

Make room for that uh mushroom I don’t know why I’m collecting Brown and red mushrooms up here but I wish that pigment had fallen as a father that would have been funny looks like here all right let’s see we’re gonna just excavate this uh tunnel and pretend it never existed like

All the other weird terrain features that are from like the pre other jungle days foreign obnoxiously large lava cast down there that’ll that’ll have to uh go remove at some point but right now I’m too lazy to do that so I’m just gonna continue working at this working away as Netherrack Who knows maybe we can soon get to 2.95 million and uh ever so slightly closer to that coveted three million that I’ve been talking about for weeks since I returned to like streaming I’ve been talking about uh 3 million Netherrack um foreign for a moment I assumed enough um

We will be done with another rack of Mining and we can get two interesting things like spawn proofing and building the walls because the more I think about it the more I’m leaning towards the 500 by 500 Now The Jungle which we are almost done clearing up the land for

So yeah that is another layer done and we still have quite a few layers to go but uh start digging down at x minus 60. I wonder if that gas will come help be so kind just to help me with uh yeah be so kind as to help me with uh actually

No I’m just gonna kill you there we go it’s always satisfying to kill gas with a sword because you usually think of them as flying mobs which are traditionally difficult to kill with uh Regina says another jungle is only 500 by 500. I was considering making it 600

By 600 but the current uh like limits are going to be like um minus 250 minus 200 all the way to um plus 250 Plus 300. over there like uh if we look at the go over here um to like the current the current edges

Like as you can see it’s about minus 250 minus 100 obviously we’re gonna we’re gonna expand it further in that direction which is like the last section that we’re working on but anyway if we um go all the way over here um we can see that uh

Yeah it’s about 300 250 over here so uh yeah it’s about 500 blocks I do like the water effect with cylinder shaders it’s really cool I even like how it like the watercolor subtly changes between biomes like the tint of the water not sure if that’s intentional but it is cool excuse me

I don’t know why I saw by vegan beans through the gas that is rather weird um but uh yeah that’s should clear up the matter of the size of another jungle but yeah I like I said I was considering making it 600 by 600 just so like I could fit like

Some more some of my nether portals and like some more interesting Terrain in it but ultimately I realized that like um I I realized that like uh um a lot of the terrain like the terrain that would be the in the expansion was wouldn’t be as interesting to work with as I thought

Um and especially like with the work of cars that have to deal with like um spawn proofing otherwise Enderman would just utterly destroy it um it’s gonna be a pain and um and also like that I just I really don’t want to spend another eight months my Netherrack I

Would I’m glad to be like almost done with that so I think 500 by 500 it is like a 2K by 2K no no I would no we we wouldn’t just know 2K wait 2K um so that let’s see I’ve been working on um shaping the terrain for about a year

So with 2K by 2K um that would take 16 years just to shape the terrain say nothing if like actually spawn proofing and decorating it although it would be kind of sick too I have like another jungle that big but I think this is like big enough like you can’t see from one

End to the other unless you’re on the highest render distance so uh that’s good enough for me like on a normal render distance you can really sell that illusion that there is no uh better Beyonds especially when I put in the walls so that they like nether won’t be properly visible

All right let’s go to minus 80. now the jungle was originally going to be like 100 by oh my when I have my electron that’s not good there we go close call um come from I just wanted to punch one of your uh relatives off a cliff um hello Sam welcome Happy Birthday

How’s it going I hope you’re having a good birthday and enjoying a stream um I forget what I was saying um oh yeah another jungle was originally gonna be like so much uh smaller and less involved like when I conceived it back in uh 2020 what I can see was the excuse me

That’s uh that’s just like the idea has been continuously expanded I think 500 by 500 is quite a sufficient size toss some of this Netherrack so I can pick up the nuggets continue over here I’m going to throw away more Netherrack to pick up all these magnets

All right another 10 block wide stretch cleared um all right yeah glad you were uh glad you’re doing well Sam uh I’m glad you’re doing well and yeah congratulations on another uh successful revolution around the Sun meanwhile I toil away where there is no sun in the darkness of the nether by another

Angle it’s always very deep but it’s for a good cause um okay we’re at two uh two million 945 000. so that’s only 50 that means only fifty five thousand another racks still have to be mined and to reach the uh which yeah again I don’t think that’s

It’s gonna be accomplished on this stream but uh probably tonight or tomorrow um could very well be accomplished 5000 is not a lot of another act when you put your minds to uh mining it and you have the infrastructure to sustainably instamine it pretty much indefinitely Foreign strip mined away now we take care of this one I just wanted to make that guy suffer an actual reason for my behavior I’m out of the instant mining range that’s not fun back in the instant mining range such relief Sumer welcome how’s it going

Come to the stream hope you’re enjoying um so yeah we are currently it doesn’t look like it but we are actually currently above the uh nether ocean um raise trying to raise the ceilings a bit to uh to uh congruent with the rest of the nether jungle ceilings

Because low ceilings in some areas of the like older regions of another jungle are quite uh unsightly and that’s being removed this almost done with another layer here and we’re done with another layer um Sumer says that’s cool I’m glad you uh glad you think so um

It’s certainly going to be cool like uh when this uh area is no longer obscured by Netherrack foreign okay so yeah we only have like a couple more layers after this which is always nice it’s also nice that I have some disappoints to prepare my pickaxe with foreign

Nine hundred forty seven thousand so we are only fifty three thousand Netherrack away from three million and I can finally and at that point I can finally shut up about three billion by the right because yeah I think I think we’ll be done with like the preliminary terraforming before

We get to four million so that won’t be you don’t have to worry about me uh going on and on about four million in a similar way to how I’ve been going on on about 3 million excuse me I wonder where those uh [Applause] die okay that was a little eventful excuse me all right the mobs have been eliminated so now it is time to go out to minus 70 in the X Direction carve out another strip too mine away lava has to be drained as well a fair bit of lava draining in my day

Including you know training and entire ocean of lava down there and turning into water but that’s another story well it is an earlier part of the same story I guess if you want to get technical about it it’s more lava that has to be drained out

So we have to keep an eye on the pickaxe thereability that’s going to be like uh breaking soon unless I uh repair it but fortunately I have a couple stacks of XP bottles for that exact practice so I just have to take note of the time that it uh breaks and

Again dumping the XP bottles I did not intend to set myself on fire as part of repairing my tools but you know happens to the best of us all right let’s do another stack all right and we can repair the tools um Uber says I really want to join your

Stream but my dad is scolding me what do you do um show him the stream too and then I’ll get two viewers uh or uh tell him that uh you’re watching somebody turn hell into a lush jungle um and uh see if it accepts that as an excuse or scroll back

There are many ways to approach the problem um stop you’re rude you got hit you with your parents sword all right um back to leaning netherrek as per usual foreign that is another layer done so now we go out to minus 80. and repeat the process

And we’re just going to keep doing this until all the other angles are removed from the skies all right you go on lava you have no purpose here lava has no purpose or anywhere in another for that matter who’s just get rid of all of it go above this with that

And the lava has been once again cleared away giving us free to uh proceed with the continued destruction of the nether though I prefer the term renovation of another personally I wonder what our Netherrack mind stat is almost two points okay now it’s 2.95 million less literally less than 50 000 another act

Too mine um until I think three million 50 000 netherect to go yeah we sold six days so who knows maybe maybe this is achievable maybe it’s achievable all right I’m hungry why am I hungry okay there we go perfect let me just mine this and then after

That we will soon start be able to start revealing the ocean below as we mind the layer beneath our feet feel free to like uh Post in the chat your best guess on um what day we’ll hit 3 million Netherrack um like I said I don’t know if it’ll be

In the Stream So I can’t pin it necessarily but uh it would still be interesting to hear people’s guesses yeah as for me I am going to guess a round day uh 10 402 would be a reasonable estimate for 3 million Netherrack another egg probably next stream um

It’s possible or or I might reach an off stream who knows like in between streams certainly a possibility you’re making a life unusually fast progress lately probably because like uh I’ve had so much like solid etherank to tear through in order to uh be able to shape the train

It’s like there have been no nether caves over there or like Open Spaces it’s just been like oh a solid by the rack that I’ve had in mind And now we start revealing the um ocean oh they hit the uh nether Highway and dive there that’s funny oh there’s still like one more players okay then after that it should be pretty easy to uh clear up oh okay well at least I got to take a refreshing dip in the ocean

That was rather refreshing much need a break from the uh drudgery of mining Netherrack high in the sky and we have reached another day ten thousand three hundred and ninety five Gets believed and die okay foreign oh there’s so many story guys coming well they do damage with the elytra on my chest plate on but I also don’t want to like uh fall all the way into the ocean if I uh if I do faulted floor all right still

Way the uh another X let me guess what that pressure’s cold we are well excuse me as I was saying we are well over 90 done with the uh with like the uh initial phase of the terror for me which is yeah I’m super excited for

This to be done so I can start placing the walls doing the spawn proofing yeah it’s the decoration and all that jazz it’ll be a welcome change I think for everyone all right so let me go out to minus 80. foreign okay on this stream alone that’s been

Like 18 000 Netherrack I think so I also might come faster than we think but yeah probably not on this stream so unless I make it like a very long stream gonna throw away the mushrooms in exchange for gold we’ll just have this little section tonight

Oh you must have like seen me through the floor and then also fired through the floor and hit me okay that makes sense but yeah we’ll just ignore that being able to keep winging the nether egg just ignore everything and find another egg no no he’s up here

Okay I’ll stop wasting arrows on a gas that I can’t even see and like I said just My another Act 90 and repeat the process it’s all about patterns and just repeating like smaller processes and organized patterns to make larger processes repeating those larger processes and someone until you have like

That’s how it goes with like constructing a big project like this here’s what I’m saying makes any sense of course which it probably doesn’t to be fair it’s just buying another egg slowly but shorter find a way to all this other Act thank you all right another uh 10 by 50 stretch completed

And we immediately be in another one and there are okay now there’s just 45 000 Netherrack to go just 45 000 Netherrack they progress towards the uh netherrek counter this is at least so there’s that disbelieved oh I spleached myself it’s not part of the plan okay I compare my pickaxe bits

Almost there I guess believed just sort of stands there painlessly as he falls to his death completely oblivious as to what’s going on oh I just killed him directly without even bothering sleep all right last layer oh wait no I think I think that might be some it might be a

Bit thick over there but for for most of this uh sector this is the last layer we have to deal with foreign below is being revealed quite nicely it’s briefed Happens to Oblivion and then these ones look on his face didn’t even know what hit him he fell all the way into the ocean looking good we are making nice progress here I let myself on fire but I at least bleached a Zombie Pigman so that’s what counts in life especially

I almost squished myself though shook him away with another attic this is gonna make the uh area look a whole lot better I think about this like nasty bit of uh pendulous and the rack hanging down so satisfying just to be shredding it away getting rid of it for good

Go around these fires though because I wanna try to populate believe generally don’t like being burned alive no it’s just like too thick for some reason okay I still do have to keep an eye on the pickaxe durability because it’s running quite low but I but I hope we can like uh

Finish this section before I have to do something about that I mean there is hopefully it’s gonna be okay um maybe some quartz over there so maybe I can oh that’s gold which doesn’t give me as much okay yeah that gave me like practically nothing um maybe I can squeeze

Enough life out of this uh somehow too this maybe I can squeeze enough life on this pickaxe but I’m gonna have to monitor the uh durability very closely okay yeah we’re just gonna throw in the towel we have like very little left but uh I’m gonna go

Um repair my pickaxe and then take care of it yeah the important thing too remember is that’s every bit of Heather egg mind is a little more progress towards finally being able to be done with this uh blast of terraforming oh my God it’s the area that

I think I kind of see like where I’ve been terrifying okay but yeah enough of that let’s uh pair the pickaxe okay I think this is seven more gold blocks all right let’s get some emeralds out and repair the pickaxe hmm I love XP gaining sound it’s so satisfying to listen to

Me okay and these guys are not gonna be refreshing their trades anytime soon so we’ll just do that is yeah it’s annoying that I have only 11 clerics here instead of the original 12. I hate that but we must just adapt and overcome as usual toss that in there where it belongs

Glowstone belongs in the glowstone Barrel and ow why do I keep hitting that that’s annoying to fix this last little bit here oh I also have to fix that irritating the lava cast down there foreign I fell through my own hole I splished myself all right let’s take care of this Netherrack

Let’s put that random tunnel over there no idea what it’s doing there or where it goes maybe we can explore it sort of curious but not curious enough to uh drop what I’m doing here foreign just like that the low ceilings have been uh sort of removed from another jungle and

We are about hang on or can I reach okay we are exactly 42 000 Netherrack away from the Milestone that shall not be named sure come into the water I dare you ha you’re in my element now suckers can’t swim can you you’re just gonna drown idiots drowning all right

Let’s do that we will just fix this uh ugly Love cast foreign okay now I am stuck in here hold on these layers off it is in these chests in the glass of netherracks such a weird combination but worries about it we will or Stone maybe my remaining Stone in another

I wonder if they could like make a super fast Stone generator using the nether water and the fact that lava flows faster in another but even says I never really thought about it before but did you get a lot of netherrite I think through the terrain um yeah I have gotten like uh

Actually a decent amount of ancient debris um let’s see where is the uh ancient debris on this uh list um obviously not all of this was from producing another jungle but most of it was I think so yeah I’ve found like at least two or three hundred ancient debris from uh

Mining all this Terrain and check where this tunnel oh it doesn’t go anywhere at all that’s kind of a letdown oh it goes out over here that’s huh is that natural or did I build this oh okay I think ow um okay I think this is like the next

Section that we got to take care of that stupid piece of thing and yeah I think that um this is actually the first chunk where we’ll be like oh I’m out of the beacon range what I was going to say was I think this will be like the first chunk where I

Actually uh reach the forest because you see it’s uh right over there so I’ll be doing a bit of work in the Warped Forest itself which is kind of cool but we’re gonna have to do no doubt something about Enderman spawning also I don’t exactly feel like moving this Beacon now and

We are going to have to I think uh move the beacon and we can like I guess we can like uh run uh into the runoff range like this makes it probably just this way but 200 so just like the ultimate boundary of nether jungle in the uh Western Direction

And as you can see it’s sort of just barely uh encroaches on the work Forest I guess this is like the intersection of three biomes you have that another wastes over there and is over there and then the warp Forest over here okay so this is just a random

Lava source here if it makes no sense also I do want to collects the uh warped fungi um 100 minus 100 Okay so this is yeah I definitely need to uh move the uh why is my brain blinking I need to move the beacon otherwise this is going to take forever

I just want to like first get a sense of like the exact area that I’m combining with a 2K by 2K now the jungle I would have another right Beacon I honestly probably would um yeah I might even have like several netherite beacons with uh that so yeah we’ll just try and uh

Get some of this uh get this area properly scoped out so that we can uh begin that’s the uh Terra formation at some point and not too distant future I don’t even have inventory spaces to uh pick up that glowstone so I don’t really care about soap touching it obviously

Careful about the lava though it’s gonna be annoying in the assault Deltas since we’re like now see what I mean lava’s everywhere 6.7 thousands netherite assuming that all the ancient debris was from the other jungle yeah that seems about right although like I said um not 100 of it was um

If I had to guess I’d say probably like two-thirds so yeah maybe maybe about like 300 of the uh ancient debris came from another jungle oh wait that’s actually wait this is actually further Complicated by the fact because I realize I don’t actually have 300 ancient debris sitting in the chest anywhere so

I think I have like a place ancient debris down and lined it back up because on occasion so it might even be less it might be like 200 uh or even like 100 yeah probably like I’m gonna guess like two or three stacks maybe um prevention debris from another jungle alone

And of course more from like dedicated some more from dedicated better recommending expeditions although that’s not really a precise estimate it’s just to say I’m also like not picking up all the ancient debris and every chunk because I’m not mining every bit of another Terrain all right let’s break out the hoe foreign

A little bit of terrain over here that has to be properly uh excavated okay I went like a level too high oh well whatever kind of selected I did no matter we will they do that wouldn’t be enough make it three thousand or three thousand um down um

If you can get 20 clones of me to help then uh if you can get 20 clones of me and uh test them to work on this that we might be able to get it done in a reasonable time frame all of even that would depends on how one kind to Define reasonable

By some metrics that would not be remotely reasonable so yeah neither jungle is gonna officially go a little bit into the work Forest this is like boundary here all right um but yeah oh you can help uh thank you that would be much appreciated um all right I’m actually getting kind
