Hey there everybody how you doing it’s me waddles minecraft guide 121. today’s episode is a special episode episode 121 that’s a lot of episodes episode 121 is a gigantic milestone for two reasons it’s the last episode of 1.16 and it’s actually the 100th episode at the jungle base today we’re gonna do

Something a little bit different like gold 10k likes remember to subscribe oh the jungle base the sweet sweet jungle base this base is by far easily my favorite base that i’ve ever set up there’s so much going on here and it is it’s just perfect in my vision

It’s perfect i know it seems weird to say it but i love this base and it’s not even done yet i i love the jungle base there’s no other way to say it it feels like just yesterday that i actually moved into this base and set up the starter house

Right over here but no it’s been like a long time now i’m serious like it feels like i set this house up and was planning everything thinking about what i could build in the jungle literally last month but it’s actually been like eight months now we officially

Moved into the jungle base back in episode 21 we first found the jungle in episode 14. now episode 21 was clearly a long time ago that episode dropped on october 10th 2020 before all those big caves and cliff snapshots now when we first moved in obviously

There wasn’t much here it was just a gigantic jungle we’ve terraformed a lot we built a lot of buildings in that time today we’re going to take a look at all of the buildings and just kind of talk about things it’s been such a long time now john

Cooper is it’s been so long so for reference uh today’s episode it’s starting on day 1379 uh we’ve been in the world for a long time episode 100 was like right by episode 1000 so uh the jungle base i started with this house right here this was my favorite starter house of

The time it’s not really anymore i mean i still really like the house but i like the lucky mob starter house a little bit more but yeah i was really happy with this design i was trying to keep it compact it looks like i still need to replace

That gold block with netherright that’s a big rip but the house right here the inside it took a while to actually finish it up we we kind of like postponed the interior for so long but it’s finished now the build is fully complete i wouldn’t change a single thing

About it probably okay actually i would probably change this wall i’m still not really happy with this wall to be honest like i mean the view is nice right but i wish it had a better view i would probably like pop it out and do like a

Glass uh like round area in there now so you could actually see like the things like i mean we have a building right there so you won’t see much but like over there there’s like a lot of stuff going on and you you really can’t see much

Unless you get really close to the window which means if the window was pushed out a little bit more you would see so much more like look at the buildings over there i love just looking at things and yeah windows are great for that this was the first storage room i can’t believe

We actually fit everything in here i mean we barely fit it all in here but it was the first storage room i don’t think i’ve left really anything in here other than food this is the main place where i actually come back and like smell things up now

Is kind of sad i still don’t have like a proper smell tree or anything in the world maybe we’ll get that in soon but yeah this was the storage room which is insane to think about and now it’s just like the kitchen room with everything in that barrel everything in this furnace actually

Should probably get a little bit more food i just can’t believe it now over here the main enchanting setup for a long time uh the map of this whole area right there that’s where the base is with the two markers the starter base is all the way up there

And then we have like some other things in here like the raid village another village i actually think all of the banners are villages that’s no maybe that’s the room portal i i don’t remember i know it’s really fancy i know i know you don’t have to compliment me too much

On it but right here this is the potion room right here so we have all that that’s the fishing room this is the potion room excuse me so we have all the brewing stuff right there a smithing table and then a cauldron i know it’s pretty sweet oh i forgot about this wither

Skull i guess we have way more withers calls than i thought but the starter house that’s basically we did the comments of the day book right here for like the longest time uh episode 79 that must have been the last one where i did that right there we do

Them in a new spot now i like the new spot more but yeah the solder house so this is where it all started now when i was planning out this base i knew for a fact that i wanted things to be like a little bit more random

In the last world my last series i did like everything like really planned out like i had the storage building at the center and i was gonna do like a circle road around it and then more circles and diagonals and it was gonna be cool but i feel like the

Jungle definitely is a little bit more chaotic chaos was basically the vibe since day one and i feel like that’s kind of what we mastered in here like the paths go like all over the place random there’s no like really true like organized paths i mean in the newer area

There is kind of but yeah chaotic for the most part now shortly after the starter house we set this thing up paper is very very important it’s sad but but it’s true this is the only paper farm in the world still uh automatic paper farm i guess

Um yeah yeah we could even move on now actually since the last world tour not too much has changed over here i mean over there more stuff has changed but over here not really uh in the background you can see our two gigantic mega builds here i definitely

Plan to have more mega builds at the jungle base at some point but for now we have two we have the giant temple the panda we’ll talk about those in a minute over here the most important villager of the world is axel waddle axel waddle is the best

Mending villager that i’ve ever gotten one emerald right there one emerald right there we have options and we keep scrolling down one emerald for the name tag we’ve keyword uh axel waddle a couple times they’ve been through a lot but it was so worth it like look at

These prices everything is one emerald like you literally can’t beat that you’re the best you are amazing but because my tools are in a pretty good spot i mean they’re not perfect right but like they’re in a pretty good spot i haven’t actually visited axel waddle in a long time

That’s kind of sad axolotl is actually really isolated like this is the only villager that isn’t really in the village or zone the villager zone is over there by the cathedral and then axel waddles just on its own over here there’s the villager breeder right across the river but like

It’s not really like the same thing the villagers in there they don’t really count now this bridge this is probably the weirdest bridge in this whole world it’s like a half circle i thought it was really cool like really creative but honestly i would probably change it into a different now i’m not

Entirely happy with the bridge i feel like it should maybe like slope down more or maybe even just like stick along the edge of the land or something i don’t know it’s cool and it works i’m not gonna change it but i would change it ah the mines i

Never used this place i set this thing up i so i could get started over here right because every base needs a mine i can’t even get down it easily like it’s painful to get down i i can’t like fly down the staircase or anything i try

Every time i need to get down here it just doesn’t work i mean it’s a mine you know so like there’s caves and everything and actually now that i think about it there are probably some dark caves over here like there’s a gigantic ravine that this cuts through that i don’t think i’ve

Ever lit up this is where i always get my obsidian from that looks pretty dark back there there’s a mine shaft over here too which is pretty cool uh but yeah i never really use this i set it up and i thought i was gonna use it

More than i that i actually ended up using it like i used it a couple episodes and then i basically ditched it like i just never came back to it i know for a fact uh i’m pretty sure for a fact that this mineshaft is not fully

Lit up like there has to be dark spaces in this i remember saying that i was gonna come back and light this up and then i completely forgot and now i remember that i forgot and there’s rails in here still too like yeah it needs a lot of work i’m pretty sure

There’s also a spider spawner oh yeah look at this look at this so exactly what i was saying i’m pretty sure there’s a spider spawner in this mineshaft too somewhere like a poison spider one but i don’t think i ever used it yeah there’s so many dark spaces in this

Mineshaft like a lot it needs a lot of work set up this cool fancy like minecart unloading system though which is cool it’s got the drop off circuit tons of just random chests over here for decoration and then a quick way out which is nice that’s my favorite thing about this thing

The exit there is one really cool thing though about this is my chapter and that’s this edition right here so we have this ladder that goes up over here i never use this letter i usually just fly around with my elytra in this world this is basically the better version of

The bridge that i was going for over by axel waddle’s house it’s got like depth and variation like it goes down and it goes up it looks like natural that’s kind of what i was going for i just wasn’t very good at it at the

Time i was just talking about it in the caving episode but yeah i feel like there’s like a big difference between some of the builds that i did earlier on in the series and then some of the more recent ones like the cathedral and the additions to it

Uh like this bridge over here i love this bridge this is cool and the temple if i’m being completely honest when i built this temple i was kind of at a stuck point in the series like i was in between the updates it was just kind of like a dead point

I didn’t really know what to do so i was like uh hey well why don’t i just build a gigantic temple that’ll definitely take some time it’ll definitely end up looking cool and i’m super happy that i ended up building it it definitely has a use

Um hey look at a thing i don’t remember the exact measurements anymore but i want to say this is like 72 or maybe like 73 by 73 and then the temple itself definitely 64 by 64. like it’s gigantic building the temple took a lot of preparation and planning we

Actually probably i think got the project done in maybe like three episodes time which is kind of crazy for such a big build the interior was fully finished and after setting up the temple it kind of got me reinspired in the world it’s a lot of really just two blocks maybe three like

Stone brick stone and cobblestone but it’s easily one of my favorite builds in the entire world here i really like how the temple turned out the inside is fully done too but you’ve seen that so we don’t really need to check out the inside moving on going this way the chaotic

Vibe right here i wanted to keep the paths going everywhere and actually when i was setting this up and planning it i wanted to keep more trees in the jungle too there’s not very many trees over here i mean it’s a good amount but i had initially imagined it as like trees

All over the place like you couldn’t even see the sky in most parts but didn’t really work out honestly i don’t really like building custom trees like i could do it sometimes but i don’t really like it i’d rather just make it like a tree really tall and add leaves to it

Or just do like a big gigantic oak tree custom trees are just boring to me over here is the nether portal which goes into the nether hub which is kind of part of the jungle base but i’m not really going to counter this part of the jungle base today it’s it’s

In the nether it’s completely different this is another thing that we set up pretty early on in the world it’s like a boardwalk for the nether portal and i’m not happy with it honestly i don’t like it i wouldn’t really do it this way anymore

I mean it’s cool right and it keeps the portal like a way like i don’t have to hear it one of the most annoying parts about like another portal is the noise but yeah i don’t really like it anymore i mean it is what it is

The cow incident the cow incident was a tragedy that happened a couple episodes ago when i was working on the big panda statue i accidentally swung my sword near the cow farm and i’m still trying to work on repopulating it it’s not all the way there yet

I think it’s getting pretty close but i can’t believe it we had to go over to the planes by him and get more cows it was pretty painful i i just i just can’t believe it it was embarrassing it’s never happened to me before i think i wiped the whole spawner out um

Yeah definitely need to get a better food farm though i’ve been considering setting up a hogland farm for the longest time i just haven’t had like the point to do it but i really want to do that now over here is the bamboo farm this is kind of the end of

The base over here the bamboo farm is constantly overflowing there’s so much bamboo over here i don’t even know what to do with this stuff anymore i mean i know i could like sell it to the villager if i pull this stuff out this is gonna start filling up immediately guarantee it

It might even just end up filling up all the way i don’t know if i can actually reach the hot yeah yeah there we go i can yeah it’s just gonna fill up all the way it’s insane now i actually still have plans to build more over here i

Don’t want the bamboo farm to kind of be like the end of the the area over here i’m kind of trying to decide if i hook this up to like an auto smelter or something or maybe even just get more fletcher villagers build like a fletcher house over here

And then just sell all the bamboo like right away the farm is great and all a couple pieces of bamboo get thrown outside of the farm every once in a while but as you can see it doesn’t matter at all like there’s just so much road activity from this farm

It doesn’t matter if we lose a few pieces now up in the sky you’ll be able to really see here this whole island is most of the way filled in like we have this bit over here i wanted to maybe set the panda farm up over here i ended up putting it

In a better spot but at first i was really thinking that this would be like a perfect island for pandas to live on like we could just do walls around the side make it look really cool it would have been cool but i like its other spot more

But yeah this island over here with the jungle house and the bamboo farm and everything it’s like almost all the way filled in definitely at some point i want to come back over here and build like maybe two three more buildings fill it in all the way so it’s fully finished but this

Island right here is where it all started over here chicken farm we never use the chicken bar it makes eggs and then over here one of my favorite builds in the world this is like top five build in the world the clock tower in hindsight i don’t like the inside as much

Like the vines going up like that i don’t know it’s not my favorite maybe i could have done like a bubble column or something but we actually have a working clock in here the lights turn out at night time and then up top just a really good

Central view i mean look at the cathedral over there with the wizard tower right there the temple with the sunset and then the panda you can kind of see it in the fog this is just like the spot like i really like this spot and then we can fly out

Of here and we can see all the builds over there too kind of a skyline starting in there i love this tower and this is actually where i store all of the comments of the day books i like this hill i feel like it’s really cool looking looks like

There are some dark caves inside of it definitely should check those out but yeah i really like the hill with the lake as a center this is the boat they used to shoot fireworks off at every single night time oh no i’m stuck but it doesn’t anymore i haven’t refilled it in

So long like the fireworks would shoot out of here it was pretty cool we made it like a custom one definitely have to refill that at some point because it was really nice but i forgot about it i completely forgot about it i think it actually ran out of fireworks

On the tour episode and haven’t done it since then so over here this is the newer part of the world kind of over here is the villager zone there’s not too much inside of these houses so we’re not really gonna go in there we have the cartographer house right there

Really like the design of that house we have the fisher hut right there kind of hate that house can’t lie then we have this house right over here this is the fletcher house i love this one this one is my favorite and the villager is pure profit this is

One of the best villagers in this world because we can sell it sticks we can sell it string if i had a chicken farm i could sell it feathers even i haven’t ever even discounted the prices uh more than just once either so there is so much potential with this

Villager like the fletcher is is amazing and i like the house it goes down to a spider farm down there i actually haven’t been into the spider farm since the tour there’s no need to go down there so i’m pretty sure this base no actually now that i think about it yes

It has every type of farm we have a zombie farm in here we have a spider farm in here just a normal one and then we have a skeleton farm now the skeleton farm is a little outside of the jungle but it’s here over there is the storage

Cathedral we’ll go there in a minute but first we’re gonna go over here pumpkin farm this pumpkin farm is constantly over producing the rates inside of this thing are so good it’s insane now there’s no actual interior there is a back door uh but you’re not actually meant to go

Inside of the farm i store the pumpkins around this farm i’ve actually had to like wrap the pumpkins all the way around the side of this thing now because it’s just so productive it’s like insane i love this area over here it still needs like more trees like

Maybe a big tree in the corner big tree over there but i love this area this is where we do the comments of the day it’s got a map wall one of the only actually maybe basically the only map wall in this area i update this map after i do big

Projects i love this spot right here iron farm the marvelous wonderful iron farm is going to work in 1.72 which is amazing we actually don’t have to make any changes to it at all but we’re probably gonna set up another iron farm uh in our next zone

The iron farm is another one of my favorite builds in the world i feel like it doesn’t look too bad floating in the sky i mean it’s definitely random but i feel like it looks pretty okay and the golems fall down there into this area with like the haze the fog right there

When does it end it never ends it actually goes all the way down to bedrock it’s pretty crazy actually uh then over here we have poppies and so much iron um did i call this an iron farm it’s actually a poppy farm my bad this next zone is what i’m gonna call

The unused zone so these are all builds that i really like but i never ended up using them as much as i thought first the the trials the notorious trio so i set this thing up thinking that i would drop the creepers into the tree house like i would build

The creeper farm way high up in the sky they’d fall out of the farm land in the tree house it would have been sweet uh the tree house is now home to all of the birds in the world we have marcus uh this is bro right there and then up top we

Should have jack yep jack on the ledge absolute edge lord but yeah this is a tree house right here we could actually get on top of the thing too if i just uh jump on the ladder like that never ended up really using the treehouse so it’s perfect for the birds

Though they really like it the view is kind of cool from over here but it’s also on the outskirts so it’s like a less good clock tower view this thing doesn’t deserve to be in the unused zone because i actually use this a lot this is the tree growing pad i

Come over here and plant trees on this pad and then chop them down whenever i need wood so this doesn’t deserve to be in the zone this world was started in 1.16 and 1.16 the warped in the crimson wood was new and don’t get me wrong i really

Love this stuff i want to use it more but it’s just so hard to farm especially like this so you bone meal this the tree grows big you chop it down but it’s just a pain especially like the leaf blocks having to use a hoe

And i don’t really even have a good hoe i mean i have no hoe i like the wood types i really do but then they’re also like really colorful and they don’t actually fit with some of the builds i still definitely need to use them more in this world

But yeah i really like the builds and i i think they turned out really nicely it’s just not very practical for like a large amount of wood and most of the builds in this world have been like larger scales especially more recently like the panda the storage building the the temple like

Getting enough wood to use on those kinds of projects from this farm impossible we need to set up like a better crimson and warp farm for sure it’s just like impossible so this isn’t really unused i mean i’ve used it a couple times i just don’t use it as much

Lately but we have a zombie in here this is basically the cubering area i bring a villager in here uh it stands here next to the zombie the zombie hits it and it turns it into a zombie i do it over and over again and then i can

Keep track of how many times i’ve done it it’s pretty cool and i still hate the front of it i need to come back and make like a better awning up there that is so terrible looking like what is that zombie xp farm it got overruled i have better xp farms

In the world this is nice though we can make a lot of profit here we actually don’t even have that thing leveled up all the way though we got crazy lucky the zombie spawner is like right by the surface on this build so i can just take out the zombies turn around

Sell them right here i definitely should discount that price even more i think it could be even better we got really lucky here with the zombie spawner but i never use it paul fall i mean there is not much use to paul paul doesn’t deserve the bad reputation though

Paul how are you it’s been so long it’s a bountiful and beautiful renovated outpost we’ve got the treasure we’ve got a living space we have the top map room for planning like strikes and stuff paul lives here and is happy i get the vibe that paul wants to be left

Completely alone so that kind of works out over here we never come over to this side of the world i’m not done with this area though i definitely plan at some point like filling this whole area up uh it could be really cool one of the

More recent ideas i had for this area would have filled it up all the way was the full warm but it wouldn’t have been like loaded in so glad that we built it somewhere else but yeah i definitely want to come back and like fill this whole area up there’s not

Much more space we could make like a big animal pen or something like that so over here is the creeper farm we renovated it recently and it’s finally time i’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to check the thing let’s see please oh oh it’s overflowing it’s overflowing the improvements the caving

It’s actually it’s actually working it’s overflowing listen to the mobs of top two wow okay okay i need to take a break i have to oh i have to empty this thing that’s insane i haven’t checked it in so long oh that’s the best thing to happen all day

That’s literally the best thing to happen all day that is so amazing genuinely the last time that i checked this thing was when we were working on it in that episode so it’s been that long and when we were working on it um i emptied it all right i never thought i

Would say this but it’s empty i need another chest for the string because that’s full and the gunpowder i really never thought this chest is actually almost full of gunpowder and string like i i need to expand this that’s pretty crazy yago i can’t forget sweet y’all go as

Soon as i introduce you to yago yahoo is this in the storage room for a long time but as soon as i introduced you to yago it was over the storage cathedral this is my favorite storage building that i’ve ever done by far the design is really easy to use because

It’s big and open i can run back and forth and grab everything easily i put things in pretty uh useful spots too like over there on that wall i have all of the stone near each other which makes it really easy to get and there’s extra space still like i

Have open chests where there’s an empty item frame there’s nothing in it and then same with the barrels on the bottom no item frame means no items which means i think uh it might be pretty close but we should be able to fit most of the 1.17 stuff inside of here too

And then maybe water stuff as well i mean we might have to expand it a little bit i’ve thought about maybe renovating the back wall putting more storage there but yeah we should be good into 1.17 for the most part with a storage building on the first floor alone which is crazy

There’s also nothing below the storage building so we could also make a basement which could be pretty cool but then we also have the top floor now the top floor is kind of more like overflow storage i put things that i have like a ton of up here

Like cobblestone stuff like that but we could use this for more normal storage i could put more chest in here renovate it make it easier to get to it’s an option i’m really happy with the storage building though like i like it it’s really easy to use big

And open it’s basically fully finished all we need is a couple more maps over there which we’ll probably do pretty soon and then like the whole back sparkle staircase tower thing i really don’t like that situation it’s a little tricky to use the council of cats also lives inside of the storage

Building it’s pretty sweet this is one of the main doors double piston door right here it’s like a cut through area we have the panda exhibit right over there we’ve been over there recently though the honeycomb farm which is going to be amazing in 1.17 this is going to be like

The best fireman it’s full again i keep emptying this thing and it’s full we’re going to have so many candles next to the bee headquarters we have the enchanting building i’m pretty happy with how this building turned out honestly it didn’t exactly turn out how i was picturing it but it

Has a really nice view up here so i have my render distance turned down for today’s episode because of the shaders but uh you can see this whole area over there tons of the buildings basically actually all of the buildings and over here um hold on look at this

Look at this if i raise that up that’s gonna load in and you can actually kind of see the gigantic pando over there too it’s pretty cool but yeah i mean i like the build i’m really happy with how it turned out but i was picturing it a

Little bit different i think what i needed to do basically oh no to make it look a little bit better i think this whole build needs to be taller like this section gets twice as tall this gets twice as tall then it could look pretty sweet

I love the new back of the storage building it’s my favorite cactus update we have a lot of cactus but you see what i mean like the wizard tower it’s really cool but if it were taller it would look even more like a tower and then we’d see like

That even more and i just feel like it would look cool if it were taller still does look pretty tall though which is cool over here we have full warm the wool of factory right over here the great wool factory this thing is insane so this project

Isn’t finished yet we definitely need to finish this when we come back to the jungle but over here check this out look at it it’s insane we definitely need to set up an auto sorter connected to this thing probably back behind the factory set up

A whole zone for this thing it’ll end up being a really big project but it’ll be worth it there are 48 automatic sheep farms inside of this thing i still need to fix those corner ones the thing is gigantic though it’s crazy and the rates are really good but uh

It’s also not finished we also have a wolf farm in the middle for like sheep uh manually if i have to and also when i finish it i want to take this whole jungle out because i want more of a view of this thing i feel like it’s a

Cool looking build but all of the trees just block it like once i have more builds down here you like look you can’t even see the thing h lives over there the local peasant h with all of the pigs some of the pigs actually escaped over here

Too i don’t know how they keep doing that i think they like glitch out over here somehow it’s pretty weird all right so i actually looked at this thing pretty recently look at this i completely forgot that we set it up it’s the automatic sweet berry farm there’s a fox inside of it

Just harvesting berries like crazy we have to take the berries and sell them to h the local peasant h stands in there stairs at a wall all day genius and i definitely need to set up a proper villager trading hall that’s one of the big projects that i want to set up in

In the jungle over here actually i’ve never said it but recently it was between two big projects over here doing the wool farm like the wolf factory which is what we ended up doing or a gigantic village or trading hall but i still actually want to set up a

Gigantic villager trading hall over here i said i wasn’t going to do it and just have the villagers in separate buildings but i changed my mind and then if i had a gigantic trading hall i would have like a couple butcher villagers couple fletchers so i could get rid of all that

Extra bamboo all of the extra sweet berries that i have which speaking of gigantic sweet berry farm over here it’s huge uh all sweet berries gigantic rose i don’t remember how many sweet berry plants are planted in here in total uh you can go back to the episode and

Look i probably said it in there but it’s a lot it’s kind of insane and i never use this thing over here the foxes live they live inside of here somewhere uh yeah they’re sleeping there they’re always sleeping i almost forgot before we check out the most recent build over

Here is the snow farm hasn’t changed at all since the tour over there is a villager breeder it’s the same thing since the tour and then something that actually wasn’t in the tour at all is this uh farm over here this is the hero

Of the village farm after i do a raid i stand in here and just get tons of free things it’s pretty nice and it’s right next to the final thing that we need to look at so the jungle base is obviously not done there are a couple projects that i’ve

Said in today’s episode that i still need to come back and finish which is definitely the case this is the final one the most recent one the one that i’m still embarrassed about we just started this and i overshot the project i do this a lot i always think that a project won’t

Take as much time as it actually will so the great panda resort that’s this whole island over here we ripped the entire jungle down got it ready for the pandas and now it’s a plane’s biome which is actually even worse for the pandas than where it started however there’s a

Gigantic panda statue it’s like 40 blocks tall which is pretty cool island’s not finished the pandas are unhappy the statues even not finished i need to put vines all over the thing to make it look older we started this project a couple episodes ago i thought it was going to

Finish it in one episode but that was crazy uh we need to terraform the entire island like put custom trees in there bamboo uh wall all the way around the island get it even better looking and i thought i would be able to finish it but 1.17 came way closer than i

Thought i thought at the soonest 1.17 would be the middle of june and instead it’s june 8th which is insane it’s so soon when we come back to the jungle this is one of the projects that we’ll finish up the wolf farm is one of the

Projects that we will finish up and then the jungle entirely is another one of the projects that we will finish up however this episode right here is the final episode in the jungle base for a while we’re not entirely done with the jungle base no way there are a lot

Of projects in here that are started that i need to finish there a lot of projects that i want to do that i haven’t even started but for 1.17 next episode we will be in the same exact world but an entirely new reset place in the last episode

We reset chunks this episode was recorded before last episode kind of confusing but the chunks that i reset in the last episode are gonna have the 1.17 content and i thought it was only fair with deep slate such an amazing block that we would go off to a new zone and

Build with the 1.17 stuff and then come back to the jungle base eventually instead of crazy farms like hopefully we can find a geode somewhere near here set up a crazy geode farm amethyst farm you know and work on all of the other farms before we wrap the episode there’s one
