Hey guys and welcome back to episode three of divine journey to last episode we set up our coke ovens these have been running quite nicely to produce cold coke we also set up some basic power generation with the water wheels and set up also some metal presses for all of The various components and we also built one blast furnace we’re currently up to four stacks nearly five stacks of steel which is very nice and also one small optimization i’ve made here is instead of using coke or coal coke to power this blast furnace i’ve swapped to using Charcoal which for now we’re just still cooking in these basic furnaces but the reason i’m using charcoal is because we need the cold coke later on for hop graphite we also took a quick trip to the nether last episode and upgraded our tools i have since made a couple of Modifications to our tools here i put auto smell on one of these pickaxes to synergize with the lock and then i made a separate one since i realized i couldn’t get things like coal instead i was getting uh graphite ingots which is no good and we need a lot of Coal for the steel and hop later on so yeah that also unlocked this next chapter for us chapter 5 which i think will be progressing through a little bit today but first of all let’s move on and make our fake rafter and to make the fake crafter we have to use charge stone Which we made last episode some more amethyst some saplings and also petals which uses the mortar and pestle so we’re going to use some of these dandelions here and we just have to put them inside and then mash them with a pestle and that gives us our petals And then we can craft our fake rafter but to get this to work i believe we have to do some sort of ritual called the supplication growth or growth supplication i mean growth supplication we need the root of the fallen some eagle feathers moss stones red cedar and the petals So yeah i’ve extended out this area a little bit more so once we have all the items on the pyre for our growth supplication ritual we just need to have the fake crafter within range of the growth stone and then when we light it up this thing should light up Uh i hope that worked it done something all right we’ll soon find out i guess the next step for us is to make the elemental soil and we can also make some rune stones and the element of soil lets us plant crops which gives a slight speed boost and it Also means that their the crops are not trampled and water doesn’t need to be placed nearby so we’re going to need a fair bit of this and we can craft it into different versions which each give different bonuses so for example the terran soil increases the yield we can Have one that speeds it up the aqueous soil will automatically harvest plants which is i think the one we’re going to be going for but yeah to get this stuff we’re going to need a bit of bones and thermos petals compressed dirt and gravel i do have quite a bit of dirt i Don’t have any gravel left so i’m gonna have to gather some of that the teramos we made last time from the moss stone and the petals are just some more flowers we can get some of these things and i found that actually the nether is a really good place to get some gravel So we only have enough bones to do 14 crafts worth but i managed to gather up some more petals some more theramos and i got quite a lot of gravel and dirt here so now we have to put all these in the fake crafter and okay it does recognize that there is A growth stone nearby so to activate or to start this craft we have to click on our knife and it gives us our elemental soil nice and yeah we’re going to need some more bones if we want any more of this so next up i want to make this giugonya Which is a bunch of other random materials we should have all of this though i did pick up some lily pads and what is this just sugar okay so this one’s a pie recipe we just have to light up they are digonios and with these these Can be planted however they do have to be planted on this elemental soil so for now we’re just going to leave them right here so now i would like to work towards this sky solar spell but to get this as you’ve seen last episode that this is going to take a lot of Different materials and it’s going to be very very tedious we need to find some bone spores in the nether some cloud berries which is going to be more crafted and i have to go and find some blue orchid 11 arrows is also quite the craft over here we need to find some Spirit herbs which takes the runic shears and this takes runestone and the pereschia and yeah i need to go and find some lilacs so i think i’ll be at this a little while and the stalin creep i have to find as well this takes the infernal bulb just i Think more stuff from the nether yeah all right well i think it’s time that we go exploring aha found some blue orchid and we may as well grab some more theramos oh and what is this very interesting structure is this a dungeon entrance maybe oh no it’s just a spawner what we got Just some bones okay i’m actually going to mark this this could be useful later on i think this is the entrance to one of the dungeons oh yeah we’ll definitely be checking this thing out let’s mark this for later but still looking for all the flowers I see a village let’s check it out absolutely nothing of value in this village except maybe these furnaces these could be useful these are going to come in useful and finally i managed to find some lilacs this is what i’ve been looking for and we’ll also need some melons so that Gives us enough materials to make the peresky which is the first of many different materials we need for this spell and we only need to craft one of these things since we can create the bulb and this can be planted we also need some more charred stone quite a lot of this actually And we’re going to turn some of this into runestone with some lapis and amethysts very cool animation by the way that’s also our quest and then some of the runestones some compressed obsidian and the perescale we can turn into vernix shears it should also be a quest and these Shears allow us to harvest the wheat and this is going to give us the wild wheat which is one of the components we need for stella stalacripe so we’re almost able to craft the sky solar spell next we need the spirit herb and for that we just have to harvest some beets With our new runic shears and one of the last components we need is wild wood and for this wild wood we need to make the ritual of wild root growth which of course uses bone meal and i just used the last of the bone meal i just had so uh Where’s all the skeletons when you need them you know what i almost forgot we have the skeleton spawner right next to our base so the book states for this ritual that we need fully grown wild route nearby the ritual only transforms one of these wild roots uh however once it grows the Tree it does not drop any saplings so i’m gonna do more than one of these things so once we placed all our items i’m hoping that this is gonna work the way i expected to i don’t know if this is doing anything oh yeah we got it nice awesome And there’s our quest and roots is actually a really cool mod i didn’t know this even existed to be honest but i think we’re almost there with this so all that we’re missing now for the sky solar spell is the living arrow and all that we’re missing from this is the Stalagripe and we just need this infernal bulb which is a bunch of stuff from the nether man that is a lot of damage are we dead all right i have to get past this guy where is he okay now i think we’re dead goodbye world Yep we’re dead oh i wonder what this is this is pretty cool is this just another portal i guess so Getting around this nether isn’t very easy there’s so many of these eggplants around which gives you poison for debuff i mean it’s only for a few seconds but it does add up every time you touch one of these things oh no i’m like miles away from the pearl oops Oh man i think we found it i’ve been in the nether for two hours and 20 minutes and we finally found our bone mushroom ah yes this is what we’re after all right so we are back and that little nether trip there uh actually ended up letting us complete most of this chapter Off for the nether i managed to pick up some of these little random items that we need for later on well let’s continue with the crafting for the sky solar spell first thing we need is the baffle cap there we go which was actually also also A quest and the quest mentions that we can actually grow this in a a dark area so i made an extra one and we’ll plant this later on the next thing we need to get is the infernal bulb which takes the baffle cap and more of the things we found in the nether And once again we’ll light our power oh and it gives us the bucket back nice so this bulb once again can be planted so rather than having to make this every time we need an infernal bulb i would like to be able to plant this however this does require the magmatic soil so Let’s actually circle back and get these uh different variants of all the soil the aqueous soil is easy we just have to throw the elemental soil and water animal transform and for the magmatic soil we just have to throw in lava the terran soil requires us to be below y30 And i think we just yeah we just throw it on the ground and it will transform and the last version of the soil requires us to be above y level 90. and again i think we just have to throw this on the floor uh we are at level Level 90 maybe we have to be up one block let’s try this no maybe outside i did find this cave we’re like right up above the base over here let’s try it up here oh yeah there we go and there’s our quest so now we can use The soil to plant our new bulb the infernal bulb and it means we don’t have to craft it again then we’re going to use one of the bulbs with some wild wheat the stalagnate runestones weld wood logs and the bulb to make the starla crepe and this thing once again can be planted This time on the terran soil so we can bone meal this that’s also our quest and this we’re going to use to craft the living arrow there we go aha and the final piece for our spell is this cloudberry which i believe is also used as a fuel So there is our first cloud berry which again we’re going to plant on the final variant of the soil and we get our quest so now we can put all of that together in the mortar so cloud berry 11 arrow block of amethyst own mushroom spore green slime block and we somehow mash That up into a spell and we have our sky sword finally all right but to use the gandalf staff we have to first imbue it which requires the imbuer and the grammary of forests and uh yeah we can do this there’s just some charge stone and bronze all right So we’ve got the grammary of the forests and our imbuer all right so now we have to somehow put all these things together and basically teach our staff the spell so there is a ui for this i think this is where we can select different spells But first of all we have to i think link this with the grammary and then click the spell dust on the sky source spell has been added to our library so when we open up our staff we have access to sky soarer so now you can see we’ve got sky solar selected and It does take the cloud berries as fuel and uh oh we need the hair pouch as well yeah i guess that’s where that we store the cloud berries this is just some buffalo hide okay so i’m assuming we just put the cloud berries inside the hair pouch and does it work now Oh it does nice oh this is amazing okay but as you’ve seen there we did take fall damage and i noticed in the quest for the sky sword that you can modify it to include friendly earth to catch your fall i know that there is also the slime Boots in this pack but how do we make these industrial slime ball okay maybe not we need the arc furnace for this okay well in that case let’s look into the imposer which is how we modify spells okay we got the imposer let’s see how this thing works All right so we have to place it in world place down our staff and then right click with the knife for some reason i’m having a bit of trouble placing this in poser there’s uh i don’t really know if i’m doing something wrong or if it’s just a bug Oh okay real login seems to have fixed it so we can place down our imposer place our staff inside and then we right click with the knife select the spell we want to modify and here we can pick from a bunch of different components so we can get a slow fall momentum oh These are awesome aha here we go friendly earth is what we’re after prevents damage taken from fallen shortly after casting spell and this does cost an additional cost of the stala crepe so yeah let’s see if we have an extra style of crepe around actually and yeah these chests have turned into a Big mess from the nether like there’s just stuff everywhere i’m sure you guys probably have this issue when you’re playing this as well okay so i’m assuming we just have to put this inside here and then enable it but with right click okay let’s try this out then And also the hair pouch is also a bobble so we can put it in this slot here and then we can hotkey to add some more cloud berries in so let’s see if this will actually catch our fall with the modifier now oh we need more stalagrape okay So yeah we have to add our fuel to the the pouch every time and yeah we didn’t take full damage oh this is awesome oh this is so good and yeah it doesn’t take one it doesn’t take a full cloud berry every use but obviously we’re going to need some way To automatically farm this stuff which i think is where the aqueous soil is going to come in but yeah there’s more cloud berries growing already and uh oh it automatically puts it in in the pouch for us that’s awesome there’s some more stalacrip here as well Oh yeah this is going to make future expo exploration much much better all right so that was quite a lot of gathering and crafting a lot of roots here and i’ve heard people say that they get a little bit burned out trying to gather all these materials as a quite Tedious year in the early game that nether trip was about three hours in total for me yeah but if you guys are playing this just take it slow just take your time stick with it it is a lot of fun and very satisfying when you get access to These spells and it’s all about the journey not the destination anyways if you know of any of the other spells we should go for it leave it in the comments i think for now we’re gonna circle back and progress a little bit more through immersive engineering and Focusing so early on magic in a pack is not something i would normally do but i’ve actually enjoyed the change of pace but the next step in our immersive engineering quest is to get the crusher and this thing is just a big multi-block uh pulverizer basically it’s just going To take more of these light engineering blocks a bunch of steel and a redstone engineering block so it turns out we are completely out of iron i think we have these three ingots left to our name i think i turned all of it into steel so I’m gonna have to do a quick mining trip here i guess there’s two more in here but yeah that’s nowhere near enough and we’re also out of coal so um yeah i guess we go mining and yeah this all smelt pickaxe really really helps with mine and since we’re Getting ingots i just have to remember not to use it on coal to get this graphite as i think it’s pretty useless for us at this stage of the game and yeah we need tons and tons of this coal and we can even make use of our sky sword here when we’re caving Sweet abyssal zombie ah yeah besselcraft is something i’ve never actually played with either i’m looking forward to getting into that and show it to charles b who reminded me about the epic backpack when we’re caving it’s easy to forget about that thing all right the pic i was using for coal Has just broken and we have a decent hole here hopefully this should be enough for us to progress and most of this coal we’re going to turn into blocks so that we can make into hop graphite so i’m going to split it evenly amongst all these coke ovens Because i know for a fact we’re going to need it later on and we’ll also restock our blast furnace with some more iron and someone else kindly left me a comment letting me know that we have tinker’s editions in here so instead of using mendenmoss to repair tools there is actually the amelioration Tome i think that’s how you pronounce this thing and i assume this works like the repair talisman from interactions so let’s try crafting one of these actually and just see how this works i’m going to put on this broken pick and yeah it gives it the amelioration trait I think it might have to not be broken though so we’ll repair it with some manual all right so i’ve got the engineering blocks the hoppers we need nine steel fences and some scaffolding so i think i’ve built the multiblock here correctly we should just be able to Hit it with the engineer’s hammer there we go there is our crusher so this obviously also takes power which i think goes in the back yeah i think that’s the power input there and the quest for this gives us a windmill and a choice reward of some sales or the kinetic dynamo and I think i’ll take the dynamo since this is way more expensive than the sales oh and that also unlocks the dynamo quest so yeah that opens up a lot more quests for us but to be able to run our crusher here it does take a lot of rf uh We’re currently producing like almost nothing with these water wheels so to fix that i want to make some biodiesel which is i think all the way down here and that’s going to require a couple more multiblocks we are first of all going to need the industrial fermenter then we need a squeezer And finally a refinery so the fermenter is going to turn any sort of plants which we have to expand our farm out but this will give us ethanol which we’re then going to mix with plant oil which we’ll get from the squeezer and again This is i think any type of seed yeah so we’ll have to look at what options we have in terms of the plants we’re going to use ideally it’ll be something that gives us both seeds and plants and then the ethanol and plant oil is going to Combine in our refinery to give us the biodiesel and the biodiesel we’re going to burn in the diesel generator which i think is this quest away over here but yeah let’s start working on upgrading our power so we just need some fluid pipe and i believe we have everything for our squeezer Which gave us some more iron which we’re definitely going to need as i’m already running out from that mining trip we just had so i think to set this up i’m going to expand our platform out a little bit more this way i am kind of getting aware of how big This base is getting when it’s all going to be torn down eventually but yeah i don’t really want to just keep cramming it into the bit we’ve got so i’m going to build another space which means getting some more spruce wood oh we have this fast axe and we can fly now so It shouldn’t be too long all right so the platform has been extended i’ve also placed down our fermenter i might have said squeeze right earlier on but uh we’ll get to that next so this fermenter obviously also requires power so we’re going to hook up our mv wire connector here and I’ve set up another relay i know that we’re like bouncing from what is this lv here into the capacitor and then to this relay and then we’re going all the way back over the top into this one but we’re not going to be using these immersive cables for very long so it’s Just going to be temporary but if we link this up to the connector uh oh wait maybe it’s this port for power we are wait we are almost dead here we should be careful all right let’s swap over to the other port and not electrocute ourselves all Right yeah now we’re getting power in this thing so this is going to take some wheat i just manually harvested this and eventually it will produce us some ethanol let’s grab a bucket for the quest so to unlock the refinery we have to build our squeezer which requires some Coke dust which we have to run through our crusher so let’s actually hook up power for the crusher first of all so power for this thing i believe is on the back yep we’ve got power and we’re going to throw in some of our coal coke oh that is allowed And that’ll spit out the coke dust and give us the quest which leads into the squeezer which is another multi block here requiring a whole lot more iron and steel i hope we have enough of this stuff we had enough materials we just have to Figure out how this thing is built so we need to find the squeezer looks like this oh very similar to the fermenter here all right so we should just be able to hit this with the hammer there we go hook up some power and in the squeezer we’re going to put Some seeds which gives us the plant oil let’s once again get a bucket for the quest so we have the first two parts of biodiesel now we need our refinery which is once again more craft in here all right and we have our refinery so we are obviously going to want to Take the output of both the fermenter and the squeezer and put it inside the refinery so i believe that’s to the two blue dots on the side so i’m going to use some of this immersive engineering fluid pipe i think it also just auto outputs i’m hoping it does anyway otherwise we have To look into some other sort of uh load pipes it did okay so we have our ethanol and plant oil we need to give this some power which is this port on the back and this is in the way okay i’m gonna have to move this wire really All right i think we’re all hooked up for power here and yeah we’re getting our biodiesel i think we also need to pick up a bucket for the quest we do grab some biodiesel and get her quest awesome oh nice this also gives us a portable tank which i Guess we’re going to use to buffer our biodiesel in nice so the last step for us to produce power is to get this quest here which requires hop graphite and this is made in what is it the industrial squeezer yeah so we may end up wanting to set up another one of These things to get hop later on but for the time being i’m just going to throw it in this one oh we get our hop a very terrible rate of hop what is this eight per dust yeah eight coke dust per hop graphite but that gives us our quest and unlocks The biodiesel generator which is uh oh man oh no all right so nine radiator blocks that’s four ingots of hop for every two which means we need five crafts of this which is what 20 hop graphite times eight is 160 so that’s what two and a half stacks Of coal coke oh man i don’t know if we have two and a half stacks of cocoa we have 19 blocks here is that enough oh it may actually be enough here plus we had some coal from our mining trip earlier on yeah we’re gonna have plenty assuming We have enough metals and then we also need these generator blocks which is forged synthetic yeah this was that ore that we found last episode all right so we need four of those which is another four kinetic dynamos some electrum lots and lots of steel for this as well let Me just start crafting this and see if we’ve got enough materials so i managed to craft the four dynamos that we need for our generator blocks uh but to make this four cincinnati block we need constantine and i don’t think we’ve made this yet so to get constantine we have To cast nickel and copper oh okay got some constantine we just have to make it into plates and then we can craft our forged cincinnati i think we need three crafts worth of this stuff one more lava bucket well that was also a quest and then we can craft our generator Blocks and we need what four yeah four so i’m just missing some heavy engineering and then that yeah the hop for this it’s very loud over here but i have been processing all of our coal coke just have to run this through the squeezer there’s our quest nice Oh two quests all right let’s set this molly block up so i think we want this thing facing like with this orientation because it takes the inputs from the back sides uh should be enough to fit in in here right it’s five blocks wide oh yeah it’ll be just enough space with one Block left that’s going to be perfect to sit right here so yeah radiators in the front i guess that’s technically the back since we’re building it back the front but i’d like the inputs next to the output tank of the biodiesel so if this is built correctly we should Just be missing these three radiator blocks and with one left over yet because it gives us two paircraft and we hit it somewhere with the hammer there we go all right actually on second thought maybe i built this one block too close to this tank because that looks Like the power output let me move all this back one block all right there we go okay so we need the fluid inputs on the sides here i’m also going to make another capacitor so that we have more power storage next to our generator i’m going to hit those wires All right so capacitor is going to be here or maybe the power output is at the top actually huh i guess we’ll soon find out well it took up our fluid pipes here uh you getting diesel there’s no ui for this thing so i don’t know oh i guess This doesn’t auto output um okay well for now what we’re going to do is set the style output on the bottom and we’ll rewrite our cable underneath now you’re going to get biodiesel oh you are nice yeah so we’re filling up with biodiesel i assume it’s not running Because it doesn’t have anywhere for the energy to go hopefully once we put our capacitor down there we go and it’s very loud as the quest does warn us here yeah the quest is called i can barely hear you all right so we are producing more power Let’s stand away from this thing just now so this thing generates 4096 rf a tick but as you can see we’ve already run out of biodiesel this thing has already stopped running which means with that we need to automatically produce it and to do that we need to expand our Farm capabilities so i want to set up something that can automatically farm i think probably canola we’re going to go with since we can use the seeds and the flowers to for the squeezer and the fermenter and then set up a system that automatically harvests the crops Probably using this aqueous soil that we crafted today and that’s what we’re going to use to feed our biodiesel set up over there but i think that’s going to be something we’ll save tomorrow i’m really looking forward to getting that setup because once we have more power it means that we can Power more machines at once and potentially look at mechanism i’m not exactly sure what the gate for this thing is and judging by this quest over here it looks like we’re pretty close to applied energistics as well which i’m super looking forward to we need to sort Out the storage system but yeah that’s gonna do it for today thank you again for watching and i’ll see you tomorrow for some more divine journey too Video Today, we begin by working towards making our first spell from the Roots mod. I normally don’t focus so heavily on magic and end up rushing tech progression, so this felt like a nice change. But after many hours of adventure and gathering in the overworld and the nether we are finally able to unlock the Sky Soarer spell and touch the sky! As a result we were also able to knock out a decent chunk of the exploration nether chapter and unlock a bunch of Roots matierals which we will use later on. Lastly we upgrade the power generation to a more respectable level, by crafting an Industrial Squeezer, a Fermenter and the Diesel Generator from Immersive Engineering. You guys weren’t kidding when you said we would need HOP.
