Hello and welcome to a Minecraft quick tip video this is not a quick tip for model minecraft the one I’m playing right now but it’s for in general and minecraft tips I had a need in my let’s play series to find melons because I wanted to make potion of healings and to Make those you need glittering melons and then you need normal melons and as you can see I was successful I have melons growing and to find melons you either go to an abandoned mineshaft or you go to a jungle and as you can see here I found a jungle now finding a Specific biome can be quite tricky if you don’t know where to go because the world is huge and biomes are randomly spawned but if you do know the seed then you can easily find them thanks to an external tool called biome finder or something like that let’s take a look on How it works okay so here’s the biome finer shag pays calm the link is in the video description so if we zoom out in a world this is a random world then you can see the biomes or well they are random and but if you do it on the seed As I said paste your seed in here and find the biomes and then I know for a fact that my village that I have is roughly around zero points well zero zero so somewhere around here and if we zoom out and try to locate the jungles Well it’s not very easy because they are all some of them look alike but you can filter here filter biomes and we can make take the jungle jungle hills and jungle edge so in those three I should be able to find the melons that I’m looking for and now if You let it load so somewhere around here is my spawn and as you can see up here in the corner oh there’s another one we have some jungles that we can go to and they are a far away I think this one is mm well 2,900 X and minus 1800 somewhere Around here so along this edge jungles are quite large but as you can see it’s very far from this bone but just take a note on these things and just go in that direction I took a few screenshots of that journey let’s just take a look so There are a few things to bring on a journey like this a good horse food of course I bring the sleeping bag but that’s only because it’s a model serious since it’s a quite long distance to to write and to find the way back even easier than just you’re looking at the Cords then you can bring your compass because it will show the way back to where your world spawn is and since my village is close to the world spawn it’s easy to find a way back and as you can see I finally found the jungle I found Their melons and I also found us and a mob spawner just above the surface unfortunately not any good loot so let’s jump back into the world and that concludes this quick tip video I had actually no idea that you could do this until I start searching for it and to be honest If I hadn’t done that I would probably still be out there looking for a jungle biome because they was so far away and I probably never would have found it to be honest but now thanks to that I am ready I have all the instant healing potions I Will need for quite some time I hope this will help you as it helped me thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next one take care bye you Video Information

Instead of just running around and search for a biome, use this method to find the exact coordinates for whatever biome you’re looking for. You can support me and the channel! Read more here: https://www.patreon.com/tkh
This was very useful in my let’s play series since I had to find Melons – which can only be found in a jungle or in random chests. Thinking of the distance, this probably saved me a few hours! It’s actually the same method as I used to quickly find a Nether Fortress in another video.
Make sure to select correct edition in the drop down list. If you’re a console or Windows 10 edition user, select “Legacy” or “Bedrock Edition” in the drop down list.
Here’s the link to the Biome Finder that I used in this video: http://chunkbase.com/apps/biome-finder
If you don’t know your seed you can use the /seed command on PC to get it. For other platforms I don’t know the method. If you’re on a server you probably have to ask the admin to get it.
Limitation according to the web page: While Biome Finder works very well with PC edition (1.3 and later), there are some inaccuracies on the bedrock and console versions. For example, on bedrock edition, some of the common land biomes are incorrect, while on console some biomes are actually underwater, and the locations of mushroom biomes are not always correct.
