To Asgaard – Starting Into Mana & Artifice: ATM Spellbound Minecraft 1.16.5 LP EP #42

Hello again welcome back to asgard and welcome back to atm spellbound uh so since the last episode it has not been a lot of time but i did go ahead and i made some adjustments to the system we set up last episode and i quickly want to go over those

First up i did add a few more mobs we have guardians wither skeletons zombie pigmen sheep which don’t currently work i’ll talk about that in just a moment and chickens so for example if we turn on sheep it’s not going to do anything whatsoever it’s not warted pearls this time because

Like zombie pigmen work fine as you can see and chickens also work fine as well and actually oh i have a feeling i hear a lot of chickens yeah i thought so okay i’m gonna have to do a range debuff on that just slightly it doesn’t

Seem like i’ve got a lot of chickens down here he’s wandered off again sounds like i have chickens inside the walls okay what happened is apparently i cannot use vanilla mob spawners in this dimension without having a dragon egg it’s not related to any awarded pearls

Because i don’t really have any at this point that i can that i can find within range of that you know uh and it’s just the sheep spawn and the chicken spawner uh vanilla passives so it seems like uh they will not spawn in this dimension so

Uh also i did add a couple rosa arcanas uh they create mana which goes to the mana spreaders here and these fade uh some bell thorns and that is just so that it speeds up killing so we don’t have a ton of bombs piling up down here because otherwise

You know they pile up pretty quickly uh and then i did go ahead and change this over to dark ethereal glass from the framed door uh the reason being when i run zombie pigmen they spawn zombies zombie awareness makes more zombies uh but anyways i had pigmen spawning

And the zombies actually busted through the door and i had this horn of zombie pigmen and zombies pouring out so i ended up changing this to just darker theory glass they can’t get through it they can’t break it and it makes our lives a little bit easier when i run the zombie pigs

Uh the zombie awareness will occasionally create zombies down through here so it is something to be aware of but it does give us a source of gold because you know i ran out all my gold last episode making clocks so i was like well i’m gonna go ahead

And set up the zombie pigs and that way i’ve got gold again uh without necessarily having to go having to go out and mine it so but the chickens are for something we’re going to be doing probably next episode or somewhere in there uh we’re going to be using those

But i did use our single dragon egg on the chicken spawner so just a heads up but anyways what we’re going to be doing today is we are going to turn our attention over to a new mod now i will say at some point we’re going to do

Kind of just to get the grind out of the way episode forbidden arcanis i love this mod there’s a lot of cool decorating stuff but it’s not a very interesting mod mechanically at least at the moment we do need to tackle this at some point it will not take an entire episode we’re

Kind of getting some of the groundwork laid because we’re gonna need a lot of nether stars uh we’re also gonna need dragon eggs we’re gonna be getting those underway uh in an upcoming episode but we are going to basically spend like maybe half an episode rushing down this as well as

Half an episode rushing down my probably least favorite magic mod which is psy it’s just not applicable whatsoever there are some great decorative blocks mainly the dark side metal stuff you know and the flow plates and everything the armor looks cool we can put it on armor stand but we won’t

Really do anything with this mod but we do still need to rush it down uh so basically we’ll have an episode coming up that’s just for ben and arkanis and psy bundled into one one episode and we’ll just knock them out to get those out of the way

Also there was an update so we are starting to see some quests added to like hexary and uh let’s see there was uh some creative recipes added maybe everlasting guilty pools in there that’s great uh creative dragon meal was added i think uh if we take a look at atm star

We can actually make dragon eggs uh we can make the creative spell book that’s actually really really nice creative source jar was added creative storage upgrades everlasting guilty pool uh then there’s the creative motor creative blaze cake so a few of the creative items were added in you know

We also need to get this up and going here soon i imagine it’s not going to end up being all of them because you can see we still can’t make like creative element containers we can’t do the creative blood uh evil craft stuff but it’s you know we do have a few

Things in here we can make the creative mana tablet though uh okay so anyways what we are going to be doing today we are going to be turning our attention over to mana artifice because it’s long overdue that we get this mod up and going there is a

Lot of check mark quests in here i’m not going to be reading through all of these but i’m going to be going through and accepting them i’m familiar with the mod but these are going to be kind of like tutorial tutorial things down through here uh so they want us to get ventium

So let’s go ahead let’s grab some vintium i know we’re going to need sarah blossom a little bit later too uh vintium dust i’m going to need to actually process that so let’s go bulk blast a stack of but i was kind of debating between man and artifice going with mountain

Artifice or going with uh elemental craft but i think we’re going to go with man and artifice get kind of a more grindy mod out of the way first and that way we can kind of bounce around slightly as we move forward we’re going to get some xp

Ventium coated iron and ventium iron let’s go ahead i’m just going to get a stack of this because i don’t end up needing it and then to make the vintium item iron we can bolt blast that so it was funny too because after i updated my broom wasn’t working again

Uh you know it was bugged out and it was just like the default broom that couldn’t even move but then a re-log of the pack fixed it so it seems to be maybe a login thing it may have to do with uh it may the timing might be

Around an update time i can’t remember if i updated the last time it broke on us but just restarting the pack it does seem to work so if something happens to your broom just restarting it should probably fix it i think there we go there’s that we’re going to get 100 more xp

And then we’re gonna need our akashic tome and we’re going to get uh the codex arcana there we go we got our flowers and we’re gonna get a bag of plants we got chorus flower okay let me go ahead and pull that off that should be enough ventium to get us started

Uh and then they want us to get the oculus oh wait i’m gonna need a ornate table and we’ll get our oculus there we go and then they also want the wand the starter wand ventium mana weaver’s wand this right here go ahead and take that and then they are

Going to want us to get some vellum paper so all we got to do come down here just hold right click with some leather we have basically infinite leather at this point so that is fairly easy we actually don’t have a cow farm but i think what it’s coming from the piglen

System i think or something but there is 64 vellum okay we’re about to actually start the mod we’re just getting all this initial stuff out of the way really really quick uh then they’re going to want some maroon forges i’ve gotten well i thought i had a couple in here maybe i’m blind

Oh we actually have three three codex arcanas in here just normal ones yeah let’s actually grab one of those out instead of using our akashic tone now i don’t have any more room for just because i picked them up i finally got around to picking them up

When we were getting all those villagers and then i lost all that uh due to the the crash and having to restore a backup well that’s fine uh they also wanted us to get the room by or the practitioner pouch to store runes in and making some

Cliffs so we’re going to do that as well but let’s go ahead and get ourselves like there’s a bit of blank lifts probably could have made them out of something other than granite not really a big deal no i need to actually dye these first okay so give me 42 black glyphs

And then let’s get our maroon forge and of course with the roon forge you know we used it in atm six to basically duplicate pretty much anything that could be smelted we might do it again uh i don’t know it’s not like there’s actually not as much within this pack that we

Smelt to be honest but we might still use it uh then they want us to get arcane ash and arcane compound now at this point we probably need to find a place to actually set up but we’re going to go ahead and make ourselves a bit of

Can i make just a full stack of this that’d be great yes okay great go ahead and make a stack of that and then let’s find a place i’ve got a couple places in mind but let’s find a nice place inside of this castle to call home um i think we’re going to

Be kind of spreading this out just a little bit though it’ll all be on this floor but it all won’t be localized because we’re going to have some in there that room can’t have windows but that’s fine i have a plan for it four minute artiface but we’re gonna set up let’s see

We’ll do our roon forges we’ll end up having a few of these but let’s go ahead throw in a bit of that let’s go ahead and get enough that we can at least smelt a stack for now we’re not going to be using these for like all-purpose smelting well that one

Looks like destroyed we’re not going to be using these for all-purpose smelting at least until we can upgrade them though but we’ll put those into that room what’s going to be a room and then we’re going to set up our oculus setting right here and it’s going to take a while for this

To run actually we’ve got time in a bottle i ended up putting it away because i just don’t use it that much but actually this mod will be good for time in a bottle because roon forges are painfully slow at the beginning so even when they’re upgraded they’re not super fast but they

They do get a bit better so you know we had a literal ton of the things on atm6 kind of before i switched over to just focusing on spellbound it’s more my kind of pack than just atm 6 was you know but there we go we got four stacks of

Arcane ash don’t worry we will end up needing that let’s go ahead and grab that and then they want us to make wizard chalk let’s get that and let’s see we’re going to pop down here in just a moment and then we need to get the inscription table and the ink

The arcanist’s ink what are we missing i know we’re going to need some we need some purified vintium let’s go ahead and get a little bit of this may not end up needing a lot of it so i’m just gonna go with like 30 and then we do need a glass bottle

And there is our arc in a sink and then we’ll go ahead and get our inscription table real quick let’s grab that we’ll go ahead and set up the inscription table here i might move those around a little bit of course but then let’s pop back down

And then we’re going to go ahead and see about putting some indestructible onto the arcanus ink and the chalk i really don’t have to be holding that there we go we have indestructible arc in a stink okay our chalk we won’t be able to do it with

Uh well not that way anyways can i do no we’re not gonna be able to have indestructible chalk that’s okay like that then they want the mana weaving altar we’re definitely going to want that so let’s uh let’s not have anything for this hardly what do we need concrete powder okay sounds good

There’s that and then i just need a bucket let me turn off this first though and then let’s go get ourselves a bucket of water we’ll fly back up that’s a little bit too high but that’s okay that there we go there’s our mana weaving alter okay

We’re about to be able to start this mod now and then we have a bunch of check mark quests we’re not going to be making a portable workbench because we have basically have that we’re going to go ahead and just accept all of these okay

Now we’re on the back half of the mod uh at this point what we need to do we’re going to have to make ourselves a spell let’s go ahead and get ourselves like a stack of our arcane ash throw that into there and we’re going to take our vellum paper throw that into

There uh and then we need to make a spell uh and also let’s take a look at our oculus first craft a manual evening altar vintium manoeuvre one inscription table we need to do at least 10 of these 12 tasks we need to cast a can trip oh and before i forget

Before we get rolling let’s go ahead and put that on there too because i will want that to be unbreakable also because having to remake that or go and repair it ever so often it’s not gonna be fun and then let’s go to our controls let’s find uh mana and artifice

Uh we need to set the keys here yeah it’s uh i’m gonna hold two and right click for me you know whatever you have it set to the container thing and then we’re going to basically look at our our cantrips here uh we’re not that worried about

These but looks like gus there’s a grass no saplings web fire etc in a nine by nine by two centered on you and then we have basically an ignite spell okay so let’s go ahead do that do that we have a little bit of time to look at what we’re going to do

And then if we take a look we have casted a cam trip it’s not something that we’ll probably use much even even starting out you might use it to start a fire every once in a while but it’s not super super useful for us okay so now we

Need to craft a spell with complexity 15 or more now we’re going to go with my personal favorite which is just going to be a fling spell we’re going to make a self spell and then we’re going to go down here and look at what we have available

And we’re going to want fling which basically just shoots us forward and you can see the complexity is 15. it’s exactly what we need and we don’t really have any modifiers at the moment i mean there’s some other stuff here if you’re starting out you might

Like to go with some of these but right now i just want to level this up you know so we’re going to hit that button right there it’s going to take a second it’s going to make the spell and you can see we’re going to require a bit of stuff

We’re going to need a gray glyph and two white glyphs and really at this point i think we can pull off infused silk yeah so let’s go ahead and do that also let me get our minor mystic focuses ideally we’re going to make 46 that’ll be fine okay uh

Because we’re going to end up using a lot of this stuff and you’ll come to find that man and artifice loves just like random things uh oh wait i don’t need let me right click that because it got one of my shapes whenever i was uh casting there uh and then for infused

Silk we just need to make a square there we go you’ll notice uh as we go through this the detection on this on this version is a whole lot better than uh it was during atm 6. it’s gotten a bit better wait i don’t there we go

And now we can right click with an empty hand and we’re going to just go ahead and craft you can see our mana up at the top left i need to move give me a second here that changes on me all the time but we can just right click as long as

We have 25 mana uh you know this is a newer feature of the more recent versions actually simplifies things a lot because it does make bulk crafting especially early on like we’re going to make a bunch of infused silk because it’s one of those things that we need a

Lot but we’re going to make a bit of that let’s go ahead and grab our spell recipe at this point and then let’s go ahead let’s open this up we’re going to go to rituals and we are going to get the ritual of arcana and so what we’re

Going to do we’re going to click here we’re going to click right here and this is going to basically paste it to our screen here and it’s going to make it a bit easier for us to set up let’s grab our wizard chalk we’ve got 16 infused silk all

Right now this is going to be a nine by nine not completely filled in but it’s gonna be a nine by nine uh originally i was gonna put a ritual here but now i’ve got the pillar i don’t think that’s going to work out because i think it’ll look a little bit messy

But what we’re going to do is we’re going to just take and draw out the exact same pattern up here these are temporary until we get into like the more permanent rituals so you don’t really have to worry about placement in this initial uh this initial stage

I’m gonna go ahead and jump down here draw this out uh and at this point we can actually go ahead and get our practitioners pouch it is going to eat our chalk luckily we’ve already used our chalk durability on it was down out of curiosity i want to try something

In just a moment the next time that we do a ritual let’s go ahead and get another another chalk i don’t think it’s going to work because i think we tried it with uh the mana artifice repair and it didn’t work so uh that looks great let’s get one two

Three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen oh am i out of lunar stone actually oh incredible okay uh that’s gonna cut down a little bit on my storage but now i have lots of nether stars so i’m going to upgrade that storage again here soon

Okay so we got a lot of glyphs uh what we’re going to do at this point is we’re going to take we’re going to go in let’s go with like blue go and i want to make uh 40. that sounds wonderful and what with our practitioner bag what we can do

Is we can hold our container gui button uh you know which in my case is two we just hold that right click it’s going to open up this and we’re going to put our blue glyphs and our black glyphs into this bag and then what we’re going to do is we’re

Going to go through and we’re going to make all uh all the rest of these so oops all the rest of these and in a lot of cases i will probably have to make some dye that’s okay i’m going to make about a half stack of each of these that should

Be sufficient i think because these are one of those things they’re i mean they’re not hard to craft or anything like that but it is a little bit annoying when you have to stop what you’re doing uh to go craft gloves and if you just have you know a decent amount

Uh you’re not going to be like churning through these things or anything but you will be using them regularly and it’ll always be different colors and uh they’re just kind of obnoxious to uh have to stop and craft i like the system but you know it’s one of those like

Just because it’s one of those like really really cheap things i think if the recipes were a little bit more uh costly maybe maybe for like an expert pack or something like that uh it would be a different story but you know with default recipe they’re just kind of

Uh like little cheap things that you have to uh stop what you’re doing a lot and craft so i do suggest just going ahead and making up a bunch of these okay i had a little bit of an issue uh trying to start the ritual i figured

It out it seems like after you open the book for the first time uh after a little bit of testing there’s a it seems like a small chance i had a few i ran it through a few test worlds most of them didn’t do it but one of them did

Do it uh where i would read the book i would get the little prompt you know like oh you skim through the pages and it would turn tonight uh and what would happen is i couldn’t actually do the ghost items for a short period of time after that

And the time seemed to vary i don’t know i don’t know what’s causing that it doesn’t seem like it’s a major issue i was really like i don’t know at first because i couldn’t start making artifacts without rituals but after a little bit of time it seems to work so

We can get the the ghost items now uh but anyways what we do is we get our ghost items to show up and now all we have to do is just go through this list personally i find it easier to take this out and get the items out of here and

Basically just go down the list getting uh like we’re going to need arm we’re going to need an armor stand and then we’re just going to go through we’re just going to right click all these spaces since we’ve got all the items then we’re going to take our purified

Ventium dust we are going to right click that it’s going to consume the ventium we’re going to get some particles everything’s going to light up let’s grab our manual versus wand and we’re going to draw a circle then we’re going to draw another circle then we’re going to draw a triangle

And there we go and there is our very first spell we have a fling spell and we can set this up let’s go ahead we’re going to name it i’m just going to name it fling we’re going to do this for the image hit the check mark and now we have a

Fling spell now you’ll notice it’s not very powerful but you’ll notice up at the top left i’m going to start getting experience if we take a look at the oculus you can say we’ve actually finished out now nine of the tasks now we could make one of these

Charms but it’s more important that we reach magic level 15. the reason being is because we’re going to want that magic level built up uh in order to have more mana in order to uh be able to cast bigger spells and in order to start getting kymerite

Here soon so uh so yeah basically what we need to do is just as we’re working on the base we need to just hit right click now whenever we do level up we do get all of our mana box that does help but at the moment you can see it’s actually pretty quick

To level uh and kind of move through these levels at the moment and we are 22.04 on the mana cost now so a little bit less and we’re up to level five now we’re up to level six up to level seven and we’re actually not gonna need that mana regen potion right now

Level nine self has become wrote fling has become wrote wrote uh we’ll get into the book of rote later uh if you recall on atm six we were using the book of rote ideally what you want to do is just get all your different spells and spell parts

Uh to become rote so for example this spell is a self fling spell uh so as we cast it we can get experience i’ll put it into the mana weaver altar there we go and there we go we’re level 15 you’ve gained enough experience to advance in tier at

This point we can’t level anymore because tier 1 15 is the level count so we take a look at the oculus advance by resting out of bed and meditating on what you’ve learned okay so at this point what we can do is pop on home find our bed

Set in it and now we are tier three or i’m sorry tier two two comes after one actually uh so at this point we open open up the oculus now we need to do 11 of these 14 tasks okay so let’s say we want to reach magic level 30 for sure

So we’re going to want to continue flinging around the room and actually at this point we can go ahead and start mining time right technically you can start mining it at level 5 if you want to go mind emerald or level 10 for diamond ore if i recall and level 20 is cold

But i don’t really start mining chimerite until level 20 because it’s cold it’s super common and it makes it a whole lot easier to farm up a bunch of comrade very very quickly because you’re going to want a lot of it like a whole lot of it especially if you plan on decorating

With it and i do plan on decorating with some man and artify stuff but since it’s going so fast we’re just going to quickly i’m not going to need this mana regen potion and i don’t really need fling for travel you know in atm6 we actually

Upgraded our fling made it a lot nicer i don’t think we actually need to on here because it’s really just a level spell for us and it seems like we level rather quickly there we go we’re level 30. so we’ve reached maximum level and we can see at

For tier two reach maximum level here now making runes we’re going to be doing that and that actually is going to get us quite a bit of stuff for our oculus let’s go ahead and take a look at the tier 2 we have to spale and we have drought

We’re going to go ahead and do circle triangle that’s fine you can change those to just whatever no that’s not it’s not what i want i want circle no i don’t want triangle this is where the mod really shines it’s when you’re trying to draw shapes no that’s not even remotely

What i said the detection is a bit better now but it’s still a little bit not great uh and we can add a modifier to a spell using the original alteration i actually have one set up because i was testing uh so we are going to add a modifier

So let’s actually go ahead and do that book of alteration is vellum vellum leather leather infused thread red dye infuse or ventium dust infused thread is vintium and infused silk in the mana weaving altar so let’s go ahead and do that let’s go ahead and make ourselves a book so we can add

We’ll just add a modifier to our existing spell and that’s going to be i can odd necto so we’ll go ahead there we go it’s going to craft there is our infused thread and then we need two vellum two leather uh it still takes durability even with indestructible but that’s okay we can

Still repair it in the blood chest but it does take that durability we throw all that in there and then we go square octoro circle and add necto no left right click to remove that there we go had the wrong one there’s a bunch of different versions of that one

There is our book of alteration so what we’re going to do is we’re going to open our radial menu with this uh of course check your hotkeys and we’re going to go with let’s see we’re doing fling so let’s go with i think it’s range

Or no it’s speed if you check right here you can see what modifiers actually would impact this and for fling it’s going to be speed or delay and actually before we go over because we do need to craft a new spell with complexity 35 or more because that is a thing here within

The oculus let’s go ahead let’s do self divination uh this is a complexity of 21 uh so then what we’re going to do let’s add we don’t have duration at the moment but let’s add in range oh that bumps up to 36. uh what about i don’t really want to lay

Yeah let’s just go with that and we’re going to take that over there with us because i think we’re going to set this up diamond book um compass armor stand uh what do we need before we go i think mainly just the lesser mystic focus so that’s going to be mystic focus

Redstone for gold and vintium now at this point we’ve got 24 of these made up let’s go ahead actually i want a half stack of these and then it’s going to be redstone gold nuggets and vintium dust and i do suggest for stuff like this a lot of these like men and artifice

Little components that you go ahead and just bolt craft these because since they added this little feature it’s so much easier used to you had to craft these all manually and it really made the project it really made the projectors a lot better than they are now because now you just make

It once and then you should right click and it’s a whole lot faster and a whole lot you know just better better to do it that way i think um unless maybe you’re an expert pack where that’s not realistic you need tons of the things or something

But as far as like default mana artifice that just it makes it a whole lot easier just to go ahead and bolt craft those uh the only thing i wish i thought about is this is going to be a self-divination spell it would have been better to have something that maybe was projectile

Maybe projectile divination range that way we have the opportunity to get more things roaded in where did i go before because when i was testing my rituals i came out to here let’s go ahead uh we’ll start off with the book of alteration so basically what

We do is we put our spell in uh our spell that we’re going to be doing is going to be our fling spell so we’re going to put that right there and we’re going to put the book of alteration in right there we’re going to get our purified ventium

Right click that and that’s going to show us what we need oh wait this is in the wrong this is in the wrong area though this one we will need for the divination this one we will need that i wore backwards though we need to switch these there we go

And then it’s going to tell us that we need redstone sugar yellow and i think it’s gray i wish they would actually tell you because sometimes when you’re looking at the glyphs a little bit unless you remember all of them which i never do it’s like i really wish the oculus was

The book and not have a book on top of it you know i think men in artiface is an interesting mod i just i kind of wish the recipes were a little bit more interesting it feels like i’m just making a lot of like random crap most of the time uh

And i wish like for example the uh like i said the the oculus was the book and not i don’t really see a point in having both a book block and a book book and just make the book block not do anything uh but yeah so our fling is a

Bit better now mana cost of 11.25 that’s due purely to our uh affinity so if you look at the bottom right you can see my air affinity right now is 100 but we can now use fling you know we can shoot up you can only cast it like three times before you hit

The ground unless you’re part of the fake covenant but we can shoot a lot further with it and it should also give us a little bit extra xp as well uh but let’s go ahead and lay out this ritual real quick i’ve got everything that i had on me

Laid out and of course right now it’s gonna be very convoluted trying to see what we have left uh with all this other stuff so what we can do right click that it’s going to tell us that you know these are the items that we’re missing now these it could be any

Kind of glass there we go and now we have our divination spell so we’ll just go ahead just leave this as divination that’s fine there we go and what we can do is right click and basically it’s going to give us the divination effect uh you can see like 30 seconds

Of divination two and what happens is like with divination it’s kind of actually useful yeah right there you can see it’s found something if we mine over to that you can see that it’s iron that it’s found we mine over to this we have iron again so divination it just lets us see

Basically where oars are and gives us an option for locating ores within this pack like super easily okay now popping down let’s see if we spot any coal i see some coal and let me go ahead actually and throw on our magnet ring for this

And what we’re going to do let’s mine up some coal yeah we got kymerite that is what we want uh and we’ll end up needing a lot of this but um it’s it’s super easy to get and honestly it’s probably something that we’re going to just passively get without even like

Mentally trying to get it because all i have to do is come down here with the alf still pick turn it on and just start mining and we’ll have tons of comrade like basically just digging a tunnel you know we’ll have tons of stuff but we do have

Enough now to complete the quest okay so let’s pop back home like i said you do have to be magic level of 20 or higher to be able to get it from coal but you can also get it from emeralds and diamonds at lower levels and then they want us to make the

Unfired rune plates and 32 rune patterns well we’re going to want to do that anyways but you can see that we have gotten four things out of here are done let’s just grab ourselves like some blue dye make sure that we’ve got some in the system

Set that in there with these 32 blank glyphs and we’re going to make ourselves 32 unfired room plates and then we’re going to split this across four no actually let’s not because we’re just going to use time in a bottle so and there is a spell book to store all

Of your spells we’ll get that in due time let’s go ahead and speed that up a little bit there we go and there we go there’s 32 of those and we will be using a bit of these another one is to get mana weaving patterns and the mana weave projector

I’ll be honest i don’t think the mana weave projector is all that terribly useful in the new version because we can just bulk craft like i said unless we’re in an expert pack or something we used it in atm6 but i think with the the bulk crafting

Uh feature where we can just keep clicking and do it i don’t think it’s as useful now as it was but we’re going to go ahead and get ourselves a mana weave projector and it just so happens we have metal even patterns down here so we’ll go ahead and knock that quest

Out there’s well now there’s a few things i guess that we might we might use it for we’ll say now at this point we are going to want to get ourselves the chisel and hammer i know we’re moving kind of quickly through this there’s not a lot especially early

Definitely get our mana and artifice room set out and everything but we’re going to take and put it down our anvil and our room scribing table we’re going to pop back down at this point and we’re going to go ahead and make our hammer and chisel unbreakable and

Actually we’ll probably end up making another hammer uh yeah actually i’ll just go ahead and do it real quick okay so what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our rune pattern we’re going to put that right up into here uh as far as our first roan pattern that

We’re going to make i think we’re going to go with the ritual metal so we can make ritual pieces and if we take a look we know we need a line down the middle right here right and it looks like it starts about a block down so we’re going to assume

We need that right and then we know that right after you kind of get a taste for the feel of these lines to be able to tell kind of where they go but it goes into a cross shape and it looks like it comes over about two segments then it crosses

Off with one segment after each uh after the cross off right uh so what we’re going to do is we’re going to add in two segments then we’re going to have the cross and the cross bring this down it should come down two segments cross off then come down two segments

So we’re gonna do that and there we go we have the rune pattern for ritual and it does look like we still take damage with indestructible but we can still i’m sure repair these through the blood chest so it’s not a big deal for us take a look here and we have now

Inscribed a rune pattern now we need to run forge a rune uh but at this point we’re gonna have to get super heated ventium uh which is just ventium through there the ventium ingots so let’s go ahead i know we’re gonna need a fair amount of this

Let’s go ahead and do a half stack to start but these are ones we’re going to need a lot of because if you want to have a permanent ritual and not have to draw a chalk every time you’re going to need a lot of these we’re going to take

We’re going to put our room pattern down we’re going to take our superheated vendium vintium put that on top you’re going to see this underneath it then we can take our hammer it does work as indestructible here though we’re going to pound that in and there we go we got our first four

Rune rituals we take this off you can see there’s a little bit of durability damage we’re going to check the blood chest in just a moment but if you want to have a permanent ritual just place these down and they basically take the place of chalk

And it gives us kind of a permanent ritual area that we can set up so i’m going to be setting some up around the base for things like spells also i’m going to be setting some up and we’ll get into that come next episode but i’m going to be setting some up for

The uh the moats these right here because they all take a special ritual area and a special place and uh we’re definitely going to want the well these modes not the greater moats but the regular modes we’re going to be setting these up in places

Around the base so we’ll get into that a little bit next episode oh no we can’t use evil craft for that now it’s possible nature’s aura or it’s also possible this is uh here’s a thought uh even he might not have the power to repair this ah

Okay yeah i don’t think he can repair it either it doesn’t seem like he’s gonna work out for that that’s okay yeah we’ll need 45 of these so we’re gonna need basically two more rune plates far enough to lay out a permanent ritual for making spells but it’s not that bad

You know like i said these are fairly quick to knock through and it’s not a bad idea to go ahead and just make them kind of somewhat in bulk like for example i know i need at least two more so i’m going to go ahead boom

And then i’ll just go ahead and make another one honestly i’ll probably go ahead and make up uh this is something having the permanent rituals is just really convenient especially when we start getting into moats because you find yourself crafting them all the time uh and then also for making spells it’s

Convenient so honestly we could probably get away with doing i’m gonna do at least five of these i think for now that’s 22. yeah these are only these are smaller uh spaces seven by sevens for the moats yeah honestly i think we’ll probably be pretty good pretty close i may go ahead

And make up like at least four more though i think because i do think we will end up needing it before everything’s said and done and there is a few other rituals that might be worth setting up to be a little bit more of a permanent setup

Now of course there are golems that can do this for you but i do think we’re going to probably skip golems we did a bit with them in atm 6 and then in some ways we ended up regretting it because they’re derpy kind of like our occultism guys

They don’t know what’s going on half the time and they just kind of do whatever they want so it’s probably a waste of time to do much with golems in all actuality uh let’s go 15. be all right we’ll use them oh i broke my chisel i wasn’t even

Paying a bit of attention just to get that quest out of the way there we go we got a red crime right crystal i will be using some of these for decoration though they do look really good this talks about golems we’ve reached tier four yeah we’re totally there

And then we have to make moats and out of curiosity what does it take at this point even though we’re really not using that much mana uh it but we might need it for leveling at the higher levels the mana crystals are the same as they

Were mode of magic and then all this stuff and it’s a lot easier now because it’s not these don’t stock as i think the biggest problem or they didn’t stack up well to say but but that’s the kind of the worst part but we spend less time drawing shapes now so that’s good

Uh but anyways i know it’s about wrapping up point for this episode so we’re going to end this one out here and then next episode we’ll pick back up and we’ll just kind of push on through but a lot of what we have left is actually just really quick just craft

Things and then we’ll basically be on to tier three like i said i don’t think we’re gonna do much with golems this time around just because they’re fun i love the idea of golems i used to love domcraft golems you know but i just think the mana artifice ones are not

They’re not where they need to be i’ll test them in the test world and just see if they’re still as derpy as they were and we might do something with them but i feel like it’s going to be like an uphill battle to accomplish a whole lot with them
