To Summon a Demon ~ Modsauce Modded Minecraft #6

Hello everyone and welcome back we’re on the modded server again i’m vanago and this is salem on my head and we are here today to do some more witchery stuff um i can’t remember if we had a witch’s outfit last time we left i think we did

But it’s gone now it got broke um unfortunately they’re not as durable as i may have hoped they only have like 80 hit points each whereas something like this has 640 so that’s a little better oh this is almost done we should probably make some more before we go

Because we are going to get into a fight today uh well we’re gonna oh that was scary what we’re gonna do is uh fight a demon actually um let’s get some am this and fist and methist not amythest all right oh you know what that is

Oh man i thought that was some drunk guy outside but what that is this guy it’s a little owl he’s a tame pet yes yes i know so you can see it’s it was a little confusing at first but when he’s sitting like this with his feet apart he’s

Planted oops and he likes to take items instead of just maybe coming so now he’s going to follow me around come over here maybe he’ll come they’re they’re like cats really despite the fact you have to make them with uh bats and wolves so yeah let’s uh

Let’s try philosophy you just you just stay there it’s fine i i got you oh that scared me all right anyway so yeah we got our we got our boots to replace the boots and let’s start heading over this way uh so we have a couple new things we’ll

Talk about some of that that’s he’s part of it really um but yeah we’ll be back because i don’t want to fight this demon in my actual base that is bad because the demons apparently there’s some world glitches with the these chunks here uh this happens from time to time but we’re good

Uh this is the circle i have ready to go i just need this golden chalk and we’re gonna put this heart right in the middle of the circle bam there we go and so we have two circles here um these are for two different uh spells this out this infernal circle in red

Is going to be to summon the demon this inner circle in white with the ritual chalk is here to form an impenetrable barrier that’s going to be there for 60 seconds that’s going to give us 60 seconds to either trade and or kill i’m gonna have to kill him because i

Didn’t take the time to look up actually not the management ratio is pretty easy i think um i think it’s over this way send nearby demon back that requires ultra power this one does not needs a way stone and a blaze powder you know what let’s get prepared um

I’m gonna grab that before we start but i’ll just finish up this real quick because i do want to re-log and get rid of this glitchiness all right so yeah basically the plan here is this we’re gonna summon the demon and put the barrier up in the same spell you can do

You can activate the circle in the same at the same time that has to be multiple spells so we’ll do that we’ll jump outside apparently this guy’s just asking for trouble oh you know what i can’t use them i have a barrett 50 caliber in my backpack but we

Can’t use it because i only have explosive ammo and it would destroy the stuff what are you doing get out of here anyway all right so yeah i’m going to uh eat some grass maybe no i’m not going to need this and uh i’m going to be back when we are

Ready to go so we’ll be back in just a second okay so we’re back and we have all the things we need uh let’s just take a look real quick you have two sides of the top the hot bar on this side of the tombstone you have the

Things we’ll need to put the barrier up really simple you just need obsidian and one charge to tombstone on the other side up until the ender pearl you have the things you need to summon a demon so you do need the one also tuned a tuned charge don’t charged a tombstone

Whatever you say that that series of words is uh is what you need blaze rod refined evil irregular tombstone and an ender pearl we’re using this basically there’s another version where you can use a villager and basically this attuned stone is standing in for the villager

Up here i have some things to banish the demon in case things go a little bit hairy a blaze powder a tuned charge stone and a way stone and then i have some stuff over here dime gold and diamonds in case uh for trading because you can trade

With him he’s just very hostile so here we go let’s let’s get this thing party started as it were just dump everything into the circle this is our foci these are our foci and activate it and back out of there oh that i put it there interesting that is very interesting

There’s also a problem hmm i wonder why it did something wrong with this circle i wonder did i mess something up one two three four five six seven three two four six seven two four six seven two four six seven no it should work that should have worked why did it not

Find evil blaze brought ender pearl yeah got the blaze right in there got the ender pearl got the tombstone huh oh because it also needs the charged it also needs the thing hmm that’s unfortunate i might have to summon him under my base yeah i don’t see any other way

All right luckily i do have an infernal circle under my base so uh we’ll be back okay guys here we are we’re at the witch’s tower you can see we’ve got some smoke sack up there it’s billowing from the top of the tower is the industrious mage that we are uh works on

We’ll look at that in a minute but if we go down this elevator there’s going to be something new for you guys silver farm arms down here i just added another layer in between so here we go we got our we got our circle all laid

Out i’m gonna go for the same plan i think actually i just forgot some of that gold and diamonds just in case we do get to try to put it away because i didn’t think we were going to actually get to do that but this should work nicely so let’s get gold

We’ll just take like a half a stack and diamonds diamonds will take like 30ish sounds good to me all right so let’s try this again again we’ve got a little rookery a little uh kennel there we’ll take a look at those in a sec there’s not much more to say than that

Here we go this is the important part this is the part we’ve been waiting for all episode so we’ve got our book of circle magic that i didn’t need to actually pull out two of tombstones check one of these is for obsidian for the barrier check end of pearl village stand in redstone

Find evil blaze rod there we go i should do it back up and there we go now it’s working all right we’re ready to go oh this is perfect yes the area around the central glyph is not clear blocks oh he needs to be do oh wait that’s not even working right i

Can move through that very around central glyph you know i think this actually because this is four by four right oh it’s only three by three dang i need to dig this out one more layer um i shouldn’t be able to move through that though it’s weird

Oh you know what i think because there’s still two that used up too that’s weird but it didn’t use that oh it’s but things back out okay sorry so basically i think what happened is this is not the glyph that i thought it was going to be

Which is fine that works out for me actually let’s deactivate that because we don’t need it right now uh so that because we are now using a charging station we have we’re near the altar so we’re getting the power uh instead of using the other spell i

Guess we’re using a different one where it’s gonna stay up but we need to dig some of this out let’s do that i guess and then try again oh hey guys welcome back so yeah you can see i’m re-lighting this uh this ring of fire this is purely

Aesthetic by the way there’s no actual purpose uh so when i was raising this roof up y one to give it a four high so now we have a seven by seven by four around the circle that lift i mean um i ran into the pool of water up here

This is that jerk water from mars magicka 2. um yeah spilled down took out half my circle put out some of the fire the ritual fires that we have going ours magicka as heathens um so yeah it’s been kind of a process obviously and i haven’t told you yet why

We’re even doing this but we are and so we’re gonna actually try to do it this time oh my god i was really hoping this would not take this long all right so anyway here we go i feel like i’ve got this down pat by now so we’ve got two

Takes it’s not a lot of material it’s it’s one wood ash one quick lime one glowstone one redstone it’s just getting them all together and putting them in the circle stone will that work attuned i’m just gonna make another one there we go bam all right good

Uh that’s what i love about that system you have everything in one place if you have it you can make it just nice and easy um yeah we can we can use the tombstone at some point so here we go two charge stones one uncharged stone refined evil blaze rod under eye

Not wood ash blaze powder nope um and then obsidian was that it i think that was it oh you gotta be kidding me oh you gotta be kidding me all right okay so new spell maybe i spent two months too long with a magnum torch over my base to really know

Anyway okay new spell the new spell is oh not that one yes monsters cannot leave the circle the seven by seven circle slime ball and redstone that’s easy slime ball redstone we’re not gonna activate it yet we’re gonna wait and i’m not going to actually do all of those let’s take that back

Just do one and then over here we’re going to have and a tombstone not all of them again just the one instead of tuned stones they don’t want to drop just one all right anyway so a tombstone good blaze rod good ender pearl good find evil good regular untuned stone

Again it’s dropped two why did it do that there we go whatever boom and that should be it all right let’s activate this joint all right this should work this should work didn’t work it worked okay it worked it’s fine you’re good you’re good relax out relax relax relax relax

I really want that demon alright i need some blaze rods i’m gonna run out of here and get that blaze rod up up up up all right we’re good he’s stuck in that circle that means we can run over here since we’ve trapped a demon and grab a stack of blaze rods

Stack minus one you know what i mean and we’ll just quickly duck back in here hopefully he doesn’t just it doesn’t seem like he’s been destroying walls had does it okay yeah he has he’s been destroying walls a little bit you’re good you’re good you’re good relax relax chill

I’d move some stuff around just wanted to check it out and so i realized it was raining and i realized that while it’s storming is the only time you can perform the curse of insanity there we go i think it’s a 15 by 15 right oh curses it’s an 11 by 11. um

Dang it’s coming it’s fine this will work so that’s 15 it’ll be 16 30 15 14. yeah so this should be the right one and then two just like this okay cool yeah we can math it’s fine so yeah we’re quickly drawing our oh dang it quickly drawing drawing our circle and

But he’s not here phlegm is and i have everything i need i think i have everything i need to remove the curse too although it shouldn’t damage him at all shouldn’t cause any problem except for occasionally seeing monsters that aren’t there which you know can not end poorly at all

But yeah when he when he needs it i can definitely take it out take it back um probably i can definitely probably take it back all right so what do i need exhale the horned one poisoned potato sugar brew of the grotesque is that it tagalog kit yes because you have to

We’ll go back and collect our stuff and then we’ll um let’s take these circles back too i guess we may as well right i mean doesn’t hurt anybody let’s take this stuff back pop this down pop this down and we’ll just pick up these circles

There we go i should maybe do like a little room off to the side with um the different maybe item frames and like a different uh the different circles that i have small ritual large inferno i’m yeah and maybe i’m going to also the center block i’m going to change out

Into something else i’ll just break this real quick here with our volume ax nailed it you can see i have slabs there um what do i have creeper that’ll work so that’s just kind of defines the center for now eventually what i think i’m going to do is come in with something a

Little more subtle so maybe a black wool or something like that black clay and i’ll draw the circles in that so whenever i need to do a quick circle like that i can just lay it down just quickly click click click click and be good to go i don’t need to count um

I still haven’t really cleaned up in here too much um fires are still out uh that’s missing it’s probably gone by now yeah it’s definitely going by now um but yeah uh we saw this already i did add this potato farm which is not working oh cause it’s dark duh he’s light geez

I’m so dumb sometimes uh yeah so there we go that should work better uh yeah so that’s that hopefully now we can actually get potatoes because this is auto harvest auto plant it’s on the fertilized dirt it’s got the water should be good to go oh

And up and up and this is the new other new thing uh this has got some stone here from the bottom it’s just this for now i may change that um maybe i’ll just do like a i don’t know i i might what i may do

Actually even is do like a half slab something in here maybe like a a wood of some kind or i don’t know something along those lines uh but yeah this is our kettle so we can brew our brews in here put some water in there we can shove all sorts of different things

And bruising infusions we need stuff like that brew the grotesque we just used uh we can do redstone soup which i’m probably gonna need to make these are basically like the the potion-esque batteries and i apologize for the truck in the background it’s snowing and that’s no cleanup um

Yeah so this is kind of like a brew battery it’s a very powerful thing but you want something with a brew that’s powerful you use redstone soup and it’s kind of expensive does require that wool of bat tongue of dog and the drop of luck is not easy to grab either

Um most of the bat i do have the kennels now so as long as i use my artha this is my kennel i’ve got dogs in here i should have some meat but i can do some breeding now too yes i do so up up every dog up

And you can get up too just come on yeah there we go yeah so breeding some dogs uh because unfortunately we do need to use the arathana to get tongue of dog from the dogs the wolves really um down down boy let’s heal these guys up

I don’t know why they only smile with half health but anyway yeah hey hey stay nope stay good boy um so yeah i can use these for all sorts of different things but uh that’s their main that’s their main purpose here that’s why i’m breeding them so

So proactively it’s because i do need ton of dog for a lot of different things um up here dang all right come on down uh you know what they can come along right now they’re good come in come on in guys let’s go i probably should have made this bigger i

May tunnel into this mountain a little bit because these guys are not coming in in stay just push them in i should really grab leads i do need leads for the kobolds too and attach a lead to them and uh make them dig for you and get cold date

Is that the one standing here no he’s right here stay stay in there out here in there oh yeah yeah i actually tried to do that and uh lost so i lost my dark pick that’s why i’m using this minute manny alum pick manny ollie metal maniolion okay

Anyway so i’m using that pick not the dark pick that actually took damage for me um all right so this you can hear the owls inside this is the rookery just put a sign on there or something yeah you can see this is where i i kind of created them and i can

Breed them like this we’ll need to it’s awkward to access this bag in here shove these things in here it’s fine just put this up here so that way you need to have kind of an empty hand otherwise they’re going to pick up whatever you’re holding and a little well you can sit

Oh i need i need to breathe them that’s interesting each time so he’s sitting and good okay yeah these these little graspers here only hold items so they’re only sitting in them because they’re sitting in the corners because they’re weird mob ai um i had kind of there’s two in this spot

Aren’t they here you come fly around let’s go see like that so if you guys move or if i can access the other one there we go so sit sit is that working i don’t know it’s hard to tell with these things let me put this back um because i don’t need to

Actually use these in here anymore so yeah sitting are you sitting nope you are now and you are sitting good good good good so i got owls in here that’s the rookery um yeah i guess i’ll put this in there that works so that’s it right there i got some

Carpenter blocks carpenter blocks sand slabs that’s why those aren’t falling it’s just the facade on there and yeah some basalt blocks i think it turned out kind of nice actually just for a little basic structure like it is just to hold the owls um i’m going to need to do frogs as well

It’s going to so owls require doing a very complicated process of water and mutantus and the mutating sprig to basically cross mutate one wolf and four bats to make four owls you can do the same thing with toads again only only way to get uh owls is to do this

And the only way to get toads is also to do that that same process which i may go through with you um because i did this one kind of on my own and i’m glad i did because we had exactly the same kind of problems that were having with the uh demon

Summoning circle but with uh with this this whole thing so i’ll probably come back with you guys at some other point and we’ll do toads because you do need to toe toe toes in uh in a lot of the brews especially the more um involved ones the higher higher grade ones

So we haven’t even finished everything with uh witchery there’s a lot of stuff in this mod i really like it some eggs there’s my chicken farm it’s just just pumping out eggs uh let’s also check on how much how many liter skulls we have because it’s probably a lot um

Yeah i know there’s really just a lot of things in this mod and it’s so cool so in depth um four i think we got another one i think i used one for something i can’t remember what it’s my grinder huh i was thinking about changing this to turtle but

I couldn’t be bothered put a looting three sword on it that would definitely increase uh increase the drop rate uh other thing you may notice actually now that it’s night time is that you can actually tell that it’s night time i messed with my brightness setting so now

The night vision isn’t completely op uh i was actually kind of annoying not getting that full effect and it’s very pretty actually when you can see things clearly but not ridiculously so so yeah that’s something i enjoy you guys let me know what you think um i probably won’t change it back unless

You guys are like oh my god disgusting or something i don’t know but uh yeah i like that that goes off to something uh oh you know what that hooks up to the cow farm that i have also put this down here because it’s kind of ridiculous um

So you know what i don’t know if you guys remember that i have this wheat farm in here um having some trouble right now it seems like i don’t have any seeds i think i’ve got wheat though it is going into this void chest so it’s not like backing up full of seeds

I may rethink that although it’s not like i need wheat right like as long as it’s it’s gonna average out to work out so i shouldn’t i shouldn’t worry right now and i can always come back with more seeds i do have them yeah this is the cow farm

Um you can see there’s some bits in here uh only one of these things is actually working only the breeder let’s get past these cows we’ll kill them on our way out you have to be careful because this i couldn’t come up with a reliable um shutoff method

So this thing is basically always full of wheat it’s going to count down every 200 ticks and if the cows are breedable it will automatically feed them one piece of wheat so next would i have a slaughterhouse um i may do that on some kind of a timer maybe

But i don’t know if i need the pink slime slash and or meat um i don’t know if i really want to deal with processing it kind of just wanted this for the leather um and the raw meat like the raw beef that’s what i need for um breeding the

Wolves and the the owls so yeah i had another thing down here which you can’t really see but it’s called a mob counter uh and it only emits a redstone signal so it’s not like it can be like configurable to however many mobs you need let’s go ahead and just kill some

Of these and i think we’re actually going to turn it off um you know what i think we’ll do it we’ll do this we’ll leave at least be we’ll turn it off now grab our wrench and boop there we go okay so it’s off not receiving power not receiving um

Any more wheat so once it runs out of this power it will stop feeding them which is acceptable the redstone torch back here for some reason okay um yeah and i got plenty of meat i got plenty of leather uh so i should be set for now and next time i need to

Actually have the cow meats slash skins i can just turn that thing back on uh butcher what’s there and uh call it a day i really don’t use this area much anymore i use this that’s true i use this table i did upgrade all my tools to many alum

Whatever that’s called you can see i got red redwood slayer there it’s got a ridiculous amount of durability on it look at that 17 375 maximum uses it’s even more than my pick which is 3 3500 which is still crazy what’s the hammer at let’s use that as a 16

992 that’s still ridiculous right right very crazy um i’m probably gonna remake it with uh some different attachments because i’m gonna add uh maybe maybe i’ll do like a paper handle so it won’t get completely ridiculous but i’ll still be able to put some more attachments on it stupid owls they sound

Like they’re screaming i get scared every time yeah just like a silk touch because i have a silky jewel it’s not hard to make uh i would like to have a self-touch item without being ridiculous enchantments and this is getting kind of full so we may you could also just do an

Enchantment like an auto enchantment or whatever kind of it’s got something crazy like that over there it’s got some like enchantment plus table or something um yeah i think that’s pretty much all the changes um i think i’m going to mess around with witchery on my own a little bit

I’m not gonna do anything too crazy i’m gonna wait and i will try and curse flynn again or kill him or whoever’s on nerd if nerd’s on i’ll definitely curse him but it does need to be someone who’s online and i can only get a tag lock for somebody who’s online so

If you’re watching and you play on this server you’re safe when you’re not online so take that under advisement um yeah so i think next time i’m probably going to work on uh the next level of big reactors or maybe some galactic craft i’m not sure i may build something i mean you

Know what i may do i may build like a launch pad somewhere like a base um for that maybe on the other side of this mountain let’s just quickly take a peek over here and see um maybe in this planes would be nice for like a launch pad area

You could do like a command center up there like a control area a launch pad in the middle anyway yeah i haven’t really looked at it yet i just know that it’s a thing that you can do to kind of go up into space there’s marathon there it is um

So yeah i’m thinking that i would like to do that no creeper hearts i do have one still uh so we may do that or the big reactor or maybe one will feed into the other maybe we’ll do the building next episode or on our own

And i don’t know whoa hi but those are a couple things on the agenda um and if we do anything crazy with witchery i will come back and let you know of course um if you have any suggestions for me let me know because i it’s a huge mod pack
