Tobey’s Terrain 34 | Swamp Base

Hello welcome to episode 34 of tobey’s terrain in this episode we’re not going to be working in this area we’re actually going to be building a swamp base so hopefully you’d like that time lapse I didn’t finish everything the time lapse though I did off camera though got

All the leaves in and then the inside I actually did the floor so this is gonna be my Brown die farm that’s cocoa beans and I haven’t put in the red stone or anything yet but it’s gonna be water up here with trap doors red stones gonna go

Off all the water is gonna shove down the cocoa beans and it breaks them pretty simple so over here though I didn’t show this in a time-lapse this is the flower farm and yeah having blue gray red yellow magenta and pink I got to move this though because right here

Is where I was gonna have the flower farm at first but then I realized that this is a wooded hills and it needs to be a Plains which over here is a Plains so what I’m thinking I’m saying I’m gonna take this and put it there and then just swap these two out

I didn’t finish yet though I need to do the ceiling still and there’s a little mineshaft that I have over here but as I said I’m not even gonna be working over here I’m gonna be building a small base because one of the little rooms I have

In this area is going to be a swamp I haven’t even started building it yet is this gonna be a swamp that has another portal I mean he’s gonna be a swamp area that has another portal to a swamp and I’m gonna have a flower farm at that

Swamp to get light blue dye but I just don’t want a flower farm just in the middle of nowhere at the swamp so I’m gonna be building a structure that I already built in creative mode and thank God for World edit I haven’t used worldedit in a very long time and I

Actually used it and damn the spheres pretty cool so what I need to do right now is get a ton of vines because I’m using a mossy stone brick and stone brick as the base block for it so I yeah I need a ton of vines so that I can get

All these so actually what I’m thinking just for this fine farm is I just have it right over here I don’t think there’s any like good way to make one because these things are like ok to grow but and then also I took out a ton of stone bricks from here and

I need the stone in here so I can get more so I mean down here is a pretty good spot for it ok so it’s like four hours later and I got this many vines which is not enough but I’m actually just going to take these down and we’re gonna make

A vine farm at the swamp so already we have this which I’m pretty sure I’m taking this down I don’t think this is what I want actually this can stay it’s actually the same size because I was going to freehand this but then I realized it’s gonna get a lot more

Complicated so I actually built in a creative world instead so I’m just gonna place 48 because that’s how much glass I got and while I’m at it I’m just gonna dig out all this dirt cuz this all needs to be level I’m gonna explain this

Before I forget okay so I don’t have the whole building thing set out I just made the three buildings that I would like to have for now but I’m thinking of having a underground area and stuff like that below I think that’d be super cool but right now it’s gonna be three main

Buildings one is a tall tower the next one is the main room which is a shorter but more space uh uh thing it’s probably like this big actually I need to dig out more and then over here even more we have a dome so that dome is a it’s gonna

Be it’s like a cylinder and then on top it’s a glass roof and that glass roof is actually where we’re going to have the flower farm okay so it took me a while and having even more vines uh I actually got the amount of vines I need this is

More than I need but it’s always just good to have more just in case and I got all the materials I need for this whole project hopefully I prime I forget a couple of things but I wrote everything down I’m like okay I need this much of

This this much of this and worldedit you can do so much I didn’t know that there’s a way that you can count blocks its slosh slosh count by the way I should’ve noticed that but yeah I counted all the blocks and we got everything that we actually need and a

Little bit more like I only need I think two and a half shoulder boxes full of stone but then I got I got three actually and then also this giant Tower is already finished so it’s gonna be even better but I actually have to take this thing down when I say it’s finished

And get all the mossy cobblestone in it so I’m thinking of doing this in a time-lapse because I think this is a lot of progress done in a little amount of time well so I should light up this area before I die oh yeah let’s do time-lapse right now [Applause] Look at this great view from here let me just go down yeah we got an elevator now that brings up us up and down stairs that’s pretty cool hopefully you like that time-lapse that took four and a half hours to build this whole thing it wasn’t even the whole thing I didn’t do

The inside yet I mean now the insides done of course but yeah for now I thought that giant satellite dish that I built I thought that would take longer but this was like the easiest part to do I think this build is pretty cool also

This build isn’t lit up at all yeah over here in the dome area we got the flower farm what think got the yeah lets us beyond three ticks okay that’s that’s the one I think that’s the one thing I forgot and we actually got our blue dye

Now which is all good because this our light blue dye cuz that’s what we needed so some of my future projects I feel like on this is one I need to get to drowns and I’m gonna put two drones in here for like test subjects and what I’m

Thinking for a place over here maybe is a downstairs area I mean this is already though this is the first floor that’s the second floor but a basement area that is underwater so I’m thinking there should be a staircase there’s an airlock and the airlock is just like this piston

Door right here cuz I think that’s a good airlock piston door and then I mean I’m calling the airlock but it’s more like a water lock and then there’s dispensers at the top that fill water in with the whole area and then you go in into the like the underwater area which

I can have conduits down there so that you can breathe forever and then when you come back the dispensers are going to reap ick up that water and then it’s just it’s gonna be empty with no water in it and then you walk through the piston door again and then you’re up

Here I don’t know what I would have in that under area but I think would be really cool for the rest of this episode we’re actually just going to go to a woodland mansion and raid it because I have I haven’t raided a woodland mansions yet

And then the next episode which is gonna be episode 35 we’re actually gonna probably finish the swamp base with a whole underwater area I think I need to get more ideas for it and kind of get it get a good idea for it okay I’m just gonna bring one of these villagers over
