Hello youtubers minecrafters and people’s of the intertubes and welcome back to my vanilla Minecraft Survival Series the last episode we went on a little adventure over in that direction and wound up coming all the way back around circle behind the house completely by accident but at least we

Went on a little bit of adventure to see what was out there episode before we built this monstrosity of an auto harvester for our crops along with the cacti farm up top and this episode I think we’re going to go into the nether and search for blaze rod so

We can start doing some potions brewing before we go we want to go ahead and enchant to the armor that we have we can try and get some sort of blast protection and fire protection and whatnot things that will come in handy in the nether so let’s see what things

We can accomplish here on breaking three old protection and duck Strider always nice Section three always nice [Applause] protection for and finally lash protection we did not get any fire protection unfortunately but everything has some sort of protection on it so let’s see if we don’t have a fire

Protection book it may have gotten while doing some afk fishing while we are we were away is good there is fire protection three right there do we get a fire protection for protection three does not look like flash protection for there’s another fire protection three we can use that

Jim and so no no fire protection for we had to fire protection threes and that will work so we are going to have to create a new piece of armor this sign I think we’re gonna go ahead and build on and make ourselves a brand new chest plate and we’re gonna go ahead

We’re gonna go and make a diamond chestplate why not a brand new diamond chestplate let’s see what kind of basic enchantment we can get on here and lo and behold we get our fire protection exactly what we wanted perfect we’ll take it fire protection and thorns would

Like to get an unbreaking on there now let’s go ahead and see we’ve got an unbreaking book that’s just gonna make things a little bit more convenient for us I think I need the one fire protection three book now and there’s none breaking you can go ahead and put that back head

Over to our anvil over here throw that on up there add the unbreaking to it add the fire protection to it so now we have fire protection for and I’m breaking exactly what we want we’ll put the other iron chestplate away so we have regular protection another Brailler protection

And blast protection and a fire protection and that is going to be exactly what we want so we have our armor that we want to take along with us we’re gonna go ahead and take our sword along we’re gonna leave our pick back here and no we’re not going to pick it

Back here and only may need that for what we need so we are going for or – blaze rods and some another wort in order to be able to make some potion so let’s go ahead and hop on into the nether it’s always extremely loud when traveling through and a little bit laggy

We can come back on the other side they gotta wait for the world to Lowood out there now where are we gonna find these things that is inside another fortress we’re gonna find being all in place to find another wart is inside the another fortress I believe the best place to

Find blazes is go going to be inside of another fortress we got to make our way over to that another fortress I got some blocks along the way apparently I might as well even get our strength back there if I remember correctly that does a fortress is over in that direction and

That looks like it’s in right there we’re gonna start making our way across just heard that gas that is out there somewhere a little worrisome let’s just back up for a minute let us gather our wits before we go alright I think it’s gonna be best just to gather a couple

Good we can’t take these guys out did that you drop a blaze rod it does not look like it just some XP a little dangerous going for it but we’ll get it well real quick as you saw when that first blaze hit us it kind of bounced us

Forward a little bit that’s one of the worrisome things about places is that when they hit you it will bounce you around a bit looks like we have another oh we got a couple of them over there waiting for us let’s see if we can’t take the blaze out first perfect

Now smack it with her skeleton he is going to come after us and we want to try to get wither skeleton skulls from these guys alright we did get a place right there excellent we got one blaze right now we do need a second one okay guys come on there we go

We need to make a brewing the Stan I know we need the blaze rod and I believe it was three pieces of stone I’m not mistaken however I told it could be mistaken and I totally was what does it take to make a brewing stand cobblestone not still the cobblestone let’s just

Grab that real quick we’ll put the stone back all right and so in order to make brewing stand three pieces a cobblestone and a blaze rod for the stand itself and we’ll go ahead and we’ll put that up we need to go ahead and plant some of this [Applause] another ward to grow

And it can only grow on sol stand solace and we’re gonna actually do this just real quick right now just to give an example just throw down the soil sand and it’s just like planting crops right click all along and those will start to grow now what

We’re also going to use this for is we’re gonna use this to make some let’s call the awkward potions the first thing we need though is glass vials to fill with water glass vial three pieces of glass similar to how you would make a bucket similar how you would make a

Bucket now I gotta go fill these up with some water thankfully we still have our somewhat infinite water sources next to the house that’s right click them the same way that you would do anything else and court our brewing sand we’re gonna put those water into the bottom there we

Have to load it it takes blaze powder to load it they make a blaze powder with a blaze rod like that gives you two and throw with that in there you can see it filled up this little bar right here we’ll go ahead and throw the other one

In there so it’s ready when we need it a good thing is that doesn’t take three pieces of another word to do all three of these one will take care of all three and they are a little bit on the fast side which is kind of nice

I’m gonna have to wait too long and so just like that we have our awkward potions now awkward potions really don’t do anything else other than they are used as the base formula for more potions question is is that what kind of potion are we going to make let’s see

What materials we have available elves are cacti we do have some carrots so and since we do plan on taking on the ocean monument sometime I believe that a regular carrot no it is a golden carrot that we have to do this with golden carrots I want to

Make a golden carrot you need golden nuggets the first thing we’ll do is take one of these make nine golden that I guess we’ll take the golden nuggets put them all the way around and put the carrot in the middle gives us the golden carrot then we can take the golden

Carrot over here and pop it in well let the brewing stand do its thing and that will give us or should give us three potions of night vision and there we go three portions of night vision I see there was only three minutes I don’t think we can extend them

No I think we can extend those there’s two ways to or there’s two other things that we can add to the potions here we can add a redstone which would make it last longer or we can add glowstone which will increase the intensity I believe that’s how it works

Increased intensity as in make it a level 2 potion unfortunately night vision potions can now become level twos there are only level 1 potions so like vision of eight minutes that’s a whole lot better we’re going to make one more potion so first use our water bottles and then

Add the nether wart to make the awkward potions we’re gonna go downstairs and grab from the fish that we’ve gotten from our afk fish farm I think it was down here somewhere there we go we’re going for puffer fish we’re going to take our puffer fish we’re gonna throw that in the brewing

Stand as well we’re gonna let that come on up we’re gonna want another piece of redstone to go along with the hook that one as well yep just 101 not to thank you there we go we have potions of water breathing only three minutes but we’re gonna go

Ahead are the Redstone we’re gonna crank that up to an 8 minute water breathing potion you can see we’re slowly using up the lay the original blaze powder we put in there we can make quite a few potions off of just the one piece of lays powder in there there we go eight-minute

Water-breathing potions now I can breathe underwater for eight minutes we can see are there a night vision for eight minutes so two essential potions you’re going to want and I believe that’s all we’re going to use for when taking that on yes I believe that’s all we’re going to use we

Go and sleep this night away real quick all right so we got our brewing stand we got our potions night vision we got our potions of water breathing one more thing we’re gonna need to take on the water temple is some slime blocks preferably although I guess we don’t

Really need them since we have the TNT right and we got the TNT yes we got the TNT from the desert temples so it might not need the slime block so much we are definitely gonna need some doors when we go down there they lent some torches I

Think we’re just about ready take on that ocean monument and I just heard that Enderman outside taking on the end of it is one thing I definitely do want to do coming up here shortly yes there he is see if I can’t get him mad at us by

Looking at him unless he vanished did he vanish I believe he vanished when I was looking for Oh No there he is let’s see we can look at him get him mad come and get me buddy they stand up here where you can hopefully not get to me all right perfect

Good to stand in a place where they can’t get to you and he dropped exactly what else hoping for an ender pearl I’m glad he did cuz now you get to show this as well we’re gonna take the end or we’re gonna take a place ride melt that

Back down again it’s a base fire we’re gonna take the ender pearl and the blaze powder it’s making it I of ender and now we’re gonna take eight of our obsidian you and we’re gonna make an enderchest enderchest 8 around the same way you would make a

River just but you put the I in the middle to make the ender chest now the thing I love about the ender chest is we’re going to place this I don’t want to place it quite right there someplace convenient for us well yeah I guess that’ll be convenient

Enough the enderchest works like a normal regular chest is except that I can put something in it here I can go to another ender chest somewhere else on the other side of the world open it and get the exact same thing out that put in somewhere else it does make getting

Things around a whole lot more convenient especially when you have a silk touch pickaxe that you can use to take it down so you can just carry it with you I could actually take this one down right now and carry it with me and that block I can put that block in there

And it’ll still be with us no matter where we go and our chests are very convenient all right so I think in the next episode that we’re gonna do we’re gonna take on that ocean monument that’s over there this would like to remind you that every Wednesday night Thursday morning from
