Tony2point0 – *New* Minecraft 1.5 patch notes – Redstone patch

What is up everybody my name is Tony two point oh and today I’m coming at you guys with the latest update from minecraft today minecraft 1.5 was released to the PC and it’s got a lot of stuff in it so I’m going to go over everything that’s in the patch notes and

Then I’m going to go over a few of the main things there’s a lot more and you guys can always go to minecraft calm and figure out exactly what’s going on but i’ll give you kind of the brief overview just like i always do so moving on into

What’s going on 1.5 is basically a redstone update there’s a ton of redstone stuff that was given to it so they added a redstone comparator is what they call it used to be called initially it was thought to be a redstone capacitor basically it’s just another circuit that you can use through

Redstone wiring things like that for me not a huge redstone guy but for you redstone guys I’m sure it’s going to be awesome they’ve added a hopper this collects items and move them to other containers added a dropper it’s similar to the dispensers but it always drops

Out the item that you put into it they added an activated rail what this does is activates TNT that you can put into mine cards so you can send them down if you wanted to make a big explosion send it down let it blow up away from

You kind of a safer alternative one of the cool things is they added a daylight sensor with the daylight sensor is it’s the block that is to be used with redstone circuitry and basically you can use this to light things up it has a timer on it it it judges how much light

By based on this the sunlight is up there it’s things that I’m going to use for basically turning on lights use red stones to turn on different lights and things like that those kind of tutorial steps will go up on minecraft two point oh you guys can check those out moving

On down the list they added what they call a chest a few of these redstone things that they have added basically it’s good ways to if you’re on a multiplayer server you can use these things to keep people from getting your so these chests mixed with a tripwire can spring

Multiple little traps and stop people from stealing your stuff basically kind of a cool little way to do it they added what they call Wade pressure plates these pressure plates basically are set up to take a certain amount of item a singular block that you I believe can

Set to any designation you have to put that right amount of thing to get into whatever the pressure plate is opening up whether it be a door trap door or something like that again a good way to keep people out of your they added block of redstone they added nether

Brick that was kind of I thought it was already there but apparently wasn’t they added nether quartz and or so in other courts will be in the nether obviously they also added block of quartz with half blocks and chiseled variants they added a couple new commands for you guys

That have customized servers / bad score a hat oh my gosh beck / scoreboard and backslash affect those I’m not too sure what they do now but I’m going to do a little more investigation containers and mobs can have custom names so you can change the names of what’s going on with

Them inventory management has changed for example you can drag place items over slots which is kind of a cool thing texture packs now have separate images for each block item nether quartz or now spawns in the nether so you can actually go and get it it’s a new brick gonna

Have to go check that stuff out I want to see what’s going on with it smooth lighting now has three settings non minimum and maximum that’s just kind of a cool thing it can help you guys if you’re having trouble actually running the game itself more detailed death

Messages some hostile mobs now are harder on hard difficulty and a ton an absolute ton of bug fixes too many for you guys to listen to me talk about right now but just realize it is there they’re working on it they’re doing tons of things so
