Tootsie – I Built A Mountain HOBBIT Village Base In Minecraft HARDCORE 1.18 | Ep 6

Hey everyone and welcome back to the 1.18 let’s play in today’s video i actually have a pretty big project for the mountain base which is a natural hobbit village i had already made the animal barn my starter house the cute little enchanting house at the top of the mountain

As well as the eccentric mine entrance and the villager breeder and here lies the issue i’m starting to get a few too many villagers in this villager breeder i was thinking i have a huge part of my mountain that is completely empty and so it would be an ideal place for building

My hobbit town a lot of my fellow youtubers have already made loads of different build tutorials for hobbit holes and so i was worried about the fact that my hobbit holes would not be that unique because if we take a look at a hobbit hole it is just a semi-circle in a hill

With a large circle for the door and two circles on each side with windows so it will definitely be a challenge because i really want to make each and every single one of my hobbit holes unique so i don’t want to have two hobbit holes that look like each other no no no

So yeah the challenge is on so my plan is of course to build bilbo baggins hobbit hole with a hobbit field right on top and a large and a small hobbit hole on either side i then would like to make a hobbit workplace probably where i could put the villagers profession

Blocks and then i will make a hobbit hole with a field around it and perched in the mountain i was thinking of making a lonely hobbit hole so of course i am probably going to make way more hobbit holes than that but this is my

Plan for the moment to be able to make every single hobbit hole unique i was thinking of using terracotta and dyeing it so first of all i’m going to smell all the clay i got from the lush cave i’d found next i really really need to get loads

Of flowers um to be sure to have plenty of different dyes after picking up a bunch of flowers i realized i had nothing to make green dye and i really wanted to make a hobbit hole that looked like bilbo baggins hobbit hole because i just had to

And the door was green and i really wanted to use green terracotta so i ventured into the open in search of a desert i knew the road would be long so i killed off a few cows for restocking on food and leather three days in i found this savannah village and hoped

That i might find a cactus in a pot in one of the houses but sadly there weren’t any and i had to continue my way to find the desert i finally found a desert more than 4 000 blocks away from my house so i really gathered as many cacti as i could

Because i did not want to go back there right next to the desert was a badlands plateau so the opportunity was perfect and i gathered loads of terracotta it was now time to start building the hobbit holes so of course i started with bilbo baggins hobbit hole and the main

Colors and blocks were bricks green terracotta white terracotta and wood i tried to make it similar enough as in the movie but of course it’s minecraft it’s not as detailed so yeah it doesn’t look exactly like bilbo baggins hobbit hole but i tried my best and honestly um the result was super

Cute if i had to give you a few tips to build your very own hobbit hole i would say go for a main circle for the door two circles on each side for the windows and you can fill up these circles with the block of your choice and the color

Of your choice for example i chose a green door for this one and then a little arch you know all around finishing off the hobbit hole and then you can layer some grass all over with some flowers you know bone meal all around the place and there you have it

Your cute little hobbit hole i then started working on the small hobbit hole which would be the neighbor of bilbo baggins and yeah my camera went in some leaves so i hope it didn’t bother you too much but this hobbit hole is very simple so it could be your starter hobbit hole

Instead of the terracotta you could easily put wood but yeah it is a super simple hobbit hole to make and it’s really really cute and practical when you’re starting off in the game i did have the difficulty that the hobbit hole was covered in snow so i decided to put

Some grass just over the hobbit hole but not everywhere so that it fits reasonably well with the scenery the third hobbit hole would be a large hobbit hole so we can imagine that an entire hobbit family lives in this hobbit hole i decided to use some blue terracotta i know it looks

Purple but that is just a color it gives and to make it larger basically instead of making only two windows i made a large window on top and i made the arch nice and large so that the hobbit hole takes a large amount of space and to

Decorate it of course i added loads of grass and flowers and i actually used some leaves to create bushes to hide maybe all the imperfections and to make everything look nice i then moved on to the workplace so i made a sort of chimney um to show that there is work in

Progress and i made the house look a bit like um i wouldn’t say a forge but almost you know it doesn’t look like just a simple cute hobbit hole it looks as though you know things happen inside um work is done so i could definitely put an armor

Villager maybe a butcher or even a weaponsmith i then moved on to the hobbit hole on top of the hill with a little field around it so i wanted to change from white terracotta so i used some sandstone so i made a mix with a bit of smooth sandstone and i

Thought it gave it a little bit of an earthy look and i quite like that it really looked like the hobbit hole was part of the mountain and of course i had to make a green door you know a lot of hobbit holes have green doors and it’s just super cute

And i finished off by adding loads of grass everywhere and i’m really really sorry about the puffs of smoke throughout the time lapse it is due to the chimney of the workplace right under i hope it won’t bother you too much hobbits are well known for being farmers

And having loads of fields filled with gorgeous and huge vegetables well that is actually probably because they are pretty small so the vegetables seem big but yeah they are known for their fields so i really wanted to get some feels in there and of course crops actually look

Super super good so what i did is a mix of every crop i had so wheat carrots potatoes pumpkins melons and right there a creeper tried destroying all the hard work i’d done so i let him in some powder snow and he sank immediately so

All was well and i was able to finish the hobbit field and of course i lit it up because i did not want any mobs to spawn in there i have finally completed my hobbit town well at least for the moment i might actually add

Uh a few more hobbit holes along the way um but that is it for the moment so i did make a few extra hobbit holes that i didn’t really show you so i’m going to do this now i actually made paths but as you can see the snow keeps covering

Everything so yeah we can’t really see the path you can only see the actual path block because the cobblestone the gravel the dirt get covered up but that is no big deal by the way i added fences everywhere because i will soon be getting the villagers from the villager breeder

To the town and i don’t want them just dying in the powder snow straight away so yeah i put these fences and they may not look super nice but no matter no matter um i’ve had a few issues for example for this lonely hobbit hole high

Up in the mountain the issue is um i should have started it maybe more here because i couldn’t complete it i had to make it go inside the mountain as you can see so yeah i didn’t want to time lapse it because it wouldn’t look super good as

It’s a bit uneven and the same thing goes for this one uh i went a bit crazy with that one well not really crazy but yeah i made a strange little design with a bright orange door um but once again yeah it finished in the mountain and i didn’t really have

Much choice you know because then the mountain ends here but i mean it’s a decent house and my hobbit villagers won’t mind i made a very simple hobbit hole right here with the remains of the wood i had and i also made a tiny little hobbit hole right here it’s just like an

Entrance it’s like really a proper hole because i had this gap here i wanted to fill it up with something but i didn’t have that much space for making a whole hobbit hole so yeah that is what i did let’s make our way over to the villager breeder let’s see if any more

Of spawned or if i was a bit too far i think i was a bit too far no no more spawn they weren’t that crazy when i did the intro oh my oh no one fell uh it’s maybe because there’s like way too many okay this is bad i need to act now

[Applause] oh my these villagers have been working i did plan this out so i made a little railway going all over there and going out here so i was planning on making uh the village here but i guess i made it over there because it got more sun um and

There were a few more flat areas and here here it’s really super hilly i would really struggle so i need to extend it all the way over here there we have it the railway goes over here um yeah it’s not the best looking railway so thankfully i’m going to remove it really

Soon but i guess it is time to get mr bilbo baggins in his little hobbit hole it is time to see if it actually works i’m so scared it’s not gonna work yeah we do have a large amount of villagers in here yeah i love how there’s justice villager just

Contemplating life and wondering what has happened okay i guess it’s time to try it out yay yeah i’m sure i’m sure bilbo would be delighted to have a friend oh oh dear it didn’t work okay well never mind there we go uh what am i supposed to do with you

Maybe i should get like another one out there we go now i’m missing a minecart oh no no no this is not good okay this is bad uh oh no oh well let’s go check bilbo perfect well we’ve got mr bilbo inside i wonder if bilbo should probably live alone you

Know this would oh maybe i could put like frodo with him that could be that could be nice yeah what should i do should i maybe try and place ah oh okay well that made it that sorted it out come on go up go up go up perfect there we have it

Oh oh oh what no where is he what the powder snow oh dear well i think that’s it for bill bono okay i’m going to let bilbo out uh just hoping he won’t go okay he did okay what am i supposed to do with you bilbo okay well bilbo

Bilbo did not want to be i’ve got frodo baggins and bilbo baggins this has taken a bit more time than expected i wasn’t expecting bilbo to die immediately hopefully i didn’t leave okay i did okay okay well i guess he wanted to become a farmer well good for him honestly well i guess

It’s going to have to be bilbo alone and you know what bilbo should be a cartographer of course i have a cartography table for mr bilbo i don’t want to put it somewhere i’m going to regret that is what i call bilbo baggins in search of an adventure

And so started the long process of bringing back the villagers to the hobbit town or should i say hobbits i carefully bought over two villagers to be bilbo baggins neighbors and i made sure that they could not escape and gave them some lecterns so that they would become librarians i brought over three

Villagers to the workplace i know i was supposed to turn them into like armors and fletchers and whatever but i thought it would be wiser to make them all librarians so that i could get a multitude of different trades i then built the rail track up to the farm and

Brought over three villagers of course i checked everywhere to see if they could escape but when the night came i had to sleep and one of the villagers of course escaped so yeah it was a bit annoying but that meant i had to go back and bring over three villagers

So yeah i would scurry around and it was really really noisy down there you are really lucky i took off the sounds because it was super annoying but yeah i had five villagers in the farm and i turned them all into farmers now that the hobbit village is set

I was thinking we could do the word of the day and i was thinking of doing a hobbit-related word of the day so what is very unique to hobbits their large hairy feet so i was thinking of teaching you hairy feet as a french word because why not feet in french is

And hair in french is pual and to say harry instead of hair because we’re gonna say hairy feet so hairy in french is so it’s pual with the u sound at the end the sentence could be hobbits have hairy feet lesbits puello so yeah hobbits of hairy feet as we all know

And i was thinking now what i could do is name all the animals i had collected i had asked you guys for names so for example for the strider i’d gotten some dogs the donkey etc here are the names i’ve chosen the first dog name i chose is alaska another name that was

Suggested and i thought it was super cute was ice cream so here we have ice cream and for these two dogs um i was thinking one could be named powder someone suggested this name after the powder snow which is everywhere on this mountain and that dog

Who doesn’t want to show her fe oh there she is will be called bella for this donkey over there there was a name i thought that was perfect it was alfredo it’s kind of a nutbeat name and this donkey is super cool so here we’ve got alfredo this jumping horse is called

Boots okay where is the strider oh there you are so i had to name the strider ami because it’s the word we learned in the last episode it means friend in french so this is ami by the way someone in the comments told me that i should actually

Name you know the mountain where i live the whole base um so you can give your suggestions in the comments but personally i was thinking what could be good would be magical peaks as we’ve got some magical creatures hobbits um we’ve got this little magical enchanting house or it
