What’s going on guys it’s maverick with another video and today we’re gonna be doing the top 10 ideas for minecraft realms i know you made it around me like this is fun i got people here now what do i do what what are we doing here

Well it helps me out a ton and let’s get into it all right now the first concept is pretty simple and i bet you it’s what a lot of you guys use it’s an anarchy realm if you don’t know what that means pretty much means chaos real

So you don’t have a theme it’s just it is what it is you hop on the room you do what you want to do you want to steal you go steal you want to be peaceful you try to be peaceful and people probably steal from you anarchy is the easiest realm that you

Can run because there’s no rules you have no responsibility to take anyone’s feelings into account you don’t have to try to keep people happy you literally just like hey you join this you can whatever happens happens it’s your problem so it’s the easiest to run it’s the easiest one to start

People will join it and go nuts but again they can get really chaotic and really hectic really fast a lot of people get stressed out and people eventually try to like oh well don’t do that and you know anarchy realm is simply it’s a realm you can join it you can do

Whatever you want it’s a good theme if you don’t want to have rules you want a very easy round to run go with anarchy simplest there’s no way it can fail because there’s no damn rules so that’s a great start for rule number for number one so

Anarchy all right now number two is gonna be factions factions is also really common it’s one of the more common uh realm themes used you can do it in a variant of different ways you can either do like elves who live in the woods doors who live underground

You know humans who live in the plains like you can pick how you want to split it up but the concept is pretty simple you can even even do some people do countries against other countries there are actually minecraft worlds where they they make the whole world and they split countries and people

Are essentially you know defending that country and trying to expand that country so you pretty much make teams however you want to split them up and split them up by you know platform you could do xbox people in one you know on on one side and

Pc on another however you want to do it you split up into teams you can make it red faction blue faction whatever those factions are essentially always at war trying to expand their territory you work for one one team that is your team you try to expand it so you split up people

Hopefully evenly and you go from there you try to claim territory try to build the coolest stuff and have the most powerful civilization fashion realms is our number two on the list today now number three is gonna be a little more complex and it’s gonna require people to have rules that will

Follow rules uh this one is essentially freelance jobs so you can’t cut trees he can’t cut rocks so you have a job that job might be mining so you’re the miner so you go get the stone you’re the bill you know you bring him you sell on the

Stone for something he does so you will have a job i.e you are the wood cutter you can only cut wood you can’t mine stone and you’ll trade it for someone when you need stone you’ll trade with a stone cutter it sounds complex but it’s really not everyone gets a simple job

And if you have to have multiple jobs that’s fine and then you trade for things you’ll need so someone could be the food farmer so they have a giant farm but they they can’t mine wood so what do they do they go to the tree cutting guy who needs food they trade food

Stuff like that so it’s kind of like you almost try to take on a real life thing where you have a job and you trade for goods that you would need that you can’t otherwise get because you can’t do every job now again this is going to take people following the rules

It’s going to be hard to implement with random people who you can’t keep an eye on but it is really fun if you have a small group of friends this is a really fun one to do i’ve actually done this with my family before it was really fun we got really far

So another good one is freelance jobs now another one you can do i think this is number four going on here is going to be hunters versus hunted so you can either start you know if you have 10 people whatever everyone except for one person or two people

Are free they can do whatever they want they can build on their own they can do whatever they want they’re completely free but two people are hunters and they should get better gear you know you could just go in creative and drop them at least iron gear

And their job is to track down every person who is free kill them and then they become a hunter as well so you start with one hunter you kill someone now you have two hunters they go out they kill two more people now you have four hunters

So as you get eliminated you join the hunter team it’s almost like hide and go seek but you have to get killed to get tagged so it’s really fun uh it can go quick or it can take a while um for this one i would recommend that

You do the original map not the infinite map because if someone gets crazy and runs 12 maps away you’re never going to find them so i would say you should probably make this you know original map where it’s only one square tile on the map you can’t go past that uh it’s really

Fun it’s a good time it can get tricky but it is a good one for you guys to try so hunted versus hunted that’s number four all right moving on to number five this one’s gonna be a little bit less hectic uh the idea behind this is

Probably if you have a couple good friends you guys want to build a crazy good world together or you could do with randoms you just gotta be careful uh it’s gonna be a co-op city your goal essentially is just to build the coolest city you can build everyone pitches in the

Goal is not to expand on individual wealth or get diamond i mean you might need diamonds to work but the idea is simple build the coolest city you can possibly build and everyone tries to chip in so you just get a bunch of people in

A party or a group and your goal is just to build the coolest city you can build if you do build something really really cool make sure to let me know i’d love to check it out and see what you guys have created alright so moving on number six now this

One might sound similar to five but it’s really not the concept behind kingdoms kingdom’s theme is that there’s an upper class and a lower class so you have the king probably is one person probably the creator of the realm maybe two if you guys have two co-creators whatever me and my brother

Used to do this and then after that you might have first tier so especially if you’re like a streamer this is a good one i used to do it i was a creator so i was one my brother was like a co a co-creator so

He was two and then we had people like my subs and my uh mods that had been in the channel for a long time that i trusted that was tier one they were like knights they could live up on the upper part by the castle and then under that is peasants so

Peasants is anyone who joins around who’s new they start down there on the farms they can build pretty much whatever but you know they’re not part of your upper echelon they’re not they don’t get to go in the inner city so you’ll build a giant castle or something really cool

And they have to be on the outskirts of that they have to be outside of the walls whatever but if they gain your trust they work really hard whatever they might earn their way into moving up to being a knight or something better but they start out as a

Peasant everyone starts as a peasant they’re bad you can throw them in jail you make a giant jail cell with you know obsidian walls and trap them in there uh it’s really fun it’s a good time again it’s gonna take some structure to set up but it’s another good one

Kingdoms that’s number six i believe now number seven is going to be cities so ideally each city would have a different theme you don’t want to like make a city right next to another city it’s not like factions is that they’re always warring it’s you know you have

A leader of each city and then he has however many people are with him working on that city and their goal is to build up their city individually so there’s gonna be a bunch of different cities instead of one giant city you’re gonna have five or six different

Little cities they all build up and they can war if they decide to war that’s on them you have your own set of politics based on however the game is working out for you guys so you know you might have a mountain city you might have an underwater city

The idea is there’s several different cities you split up people into pretty even groups you split them aside and you see who can develop the city the most you have your own politics you can conquer each other you can go to war with each other you can make allies with each other this

One’s really fun again you will need some structure and you’ll need people that want to do this but there’s another good one number seven is going to be tribes slash all right moving on we’re going to have guards versus farmers so for this one you’re going to need to build up a

Pretty strong city out of stone or whatever it is and the idea behind it is you have knights or guards and then you have peasants farmers and the farmers are fed up with it their job is to try to take the castle from the guards if they do successfully

Take the cows from the guards the farmers are now the guards they now have the kingdom their job is to defend it from guards as guards your idea is to keep the castle or the base whatever you want to call it you want to keep it you want to kill the

Farmers when they try to take it you will have better equipment so for this you want to set the guards up with way better equipment than the farmers you don’t want it to be fair you want to be heavily leveraged towards the guards having an edge they want to

Have better armor better equipment if the farmers build up to get their fine or if they just are unrelenting and keep attacking and hopefully eventually get it it’s supposed to be hard but it is fun because you kind of have to use like guerilla tactics to try to sneak in the castle and

Sabotage it and try to beat the guards you are at a huge disadvantage so you have to try to outsmart them it’s another good one guards versus farmers all right now number nine we’re winding down here number nine is gonna be creative one and it’s going to be creative contest

Realm i used to do this on my streams as well it used to be a lot of fun we used to have pixel art contests stuff like that so it’s pretty much you just make a big open world you can make a super flat if you want you don’t have to

And you and a bunch of buddies or a bunch of random people can join in and you guys set a theme set a time limit so you’ll say dragons and you have an hour or however long you said 10 minutes 15 minutes i don’t care what your timer is

And the idea is just to build the coolest thing possible uh and as you do whatever you can do a competition for something on my streams we used to do we’d give away subs and stuff like that for whoever won so it’s a lot of fun it’s a good one to

Try uh it lets you just have like less you don’t have to worry so much because it’s not such an intense realm but it is fun to do especially if you’re a content creator or you have a bunch of people that you want to work with and

Build things with it or you’re just looking for ideas you could be like castle and then give everyone an hour see who builds the best castle nick alright cool let’s take this into another world and do it so creative contest worlds that’s another really good realm idea

All right anyway so 10 is going to be the most challenging to do by far and it’s also going to be one that everyone tries at some point it’s a peaceful realm i know i know hear me out you’re like it’s not it’s not hard dude you hype

That up trust me it’s hard it’s really difficult if you have ever ran a peaceful realm with people that you didn’t know in real life there is no way you didn’t get trolled it is insane it’s ridiculous that’s what i did when i streamed i was like everyone can join everyone can join

And i have like 70 or 80 people at one point and it was utter chaos so keeping your rules on peaceful are difficult if you want to do a peaceful realm where everyone just lives in peace good luck but i’ll give you some tips i already put them in my other video that

I talked about the beginning but really quick you’re going to want to put keep inventory on because even if you get killed you don’t lose anything you’re going to want to make sure you back up your saves because when someone trolls and destroys everything you’re

Going to want to be able to go back you really probably want to know who’s in your realm but if you don’t good luck it’s going to be tough people are going to troll um but it is a fun concept we had a really good fully functioning world at like 30 people and

No one bothered anybody it was really fun everyone did their own thing it was so cool to walk around the world to see what everyone built i would literally just log in you know get home from work log in and i would just walk around and see 30

People’s different work from the last 24 hours and it was really really awesome it is hard to hold like i said because people will troll people for lava tnt duping there will be a lot of problems in peaceful so it is tough but check out my video about tips for minecraft realm if
