Today i will show you how to brew every potion effect in minecraft including this one right here this is the fire resistance portion let’s go ahead and see how this works just jump down here into some flames like that there we go and notice i’m not losing any health or

Anything on this there you go that worked perfectly plus i’ll show you how to extend or enhance the portion effects how to create splash potions and lingering potions basically we’ll be seeing all the potion recipes that are currently craftable here and in the game and if you stick around to the end i’ll

Show you how to obtain an extremely difficult advancement level minecraft a furious cocktail the first thing we need is a brewing stand and for that we need to have three cobblestone and also one blaze rod and get the blaze rod out of the nether and i have my nether portal right here

Okay what we need here are blaze rods and you get those from killing the blaze there’s one right there and i’m right next to a blaze spawner so i keep on getting blazes showing up right next to that there’s another one let’s get this one dead and there you go there is a

Blaze right you need to get a bunch of those blaze rods okay spring let’s hit me one more okay let’s get in out of the way they go pretty easy now i’m running with a fire resistance potion here like i had the very beginning of the video and

That’s the best way to deal with everything here inside of the nether now you also want to get some of this this is netherwork you need another work you also need the soil soil that it’s sitting on right down below so grab a whole bunch of another work and also a

Whole bunch of that solar soil i already have a soil soil set up inside of my fortress so we don’t need to really worry about that but grab all that you can of that’s and get a real nice setup on that and then while you’re in the

Fortress look for any of these treasure chests and in here you want to get some gold we’ll be needing some gold later on so make sure you grab some gold diamonds are of course always great to have and then finally we get back outside here keep your eyes open for brown

Mushrooms just like that grab those things we need those for some of the recipes so let’s grab any mushrooms that you see there are a few out here they tend to pop up around different spots inside of the nether you can usually find quite a few these

You also find these sometimes inside of the fortress as well let’s now make ourselves our brewing stand we’ll go back over here to the crafting table you need to have one blaze rod put it right there and then those three cobblestone across the bottom that’s all you need to make a

Brewing stand there it is now take more of those blaze rods and turn those into blaze powder and that’s the feel that we need for the brewing stand get a whole bunch they’re gonna need a lot of that and blaze powder to run this thing i’ll just grab

All of that there we are that’s plenty okay let’s now go ahead and also take that gold that we got and turn it into a gold nugget we need that for a couple of the recipes so there’s our golden nuggets and we’re all set now let’s just place

Our broom stand right down there it’s a good spot for it looks good you right click to open up the brewing stand your fuel goes here the top is your ingredients and across the bottom are where the bottles go we don’t need glass bottles go over here to the crafting

Table now you put in three blocks in a v shape and i’ll be putting in three blocks into each one of those spots and each set of blocks gives you three bottles that will give us nine bottles total so bring that down here we now have nine empty bottles now we need to

Put water into these make them into water bottles and for that we have to have a water source everything i’ve read says to use cauldrons i don’t happen to like that because each water bottle lowers the cauldron by one-third so you’re having to always refill that cauldron instead i

Made a trough over here now this is made out of trapdoors and it’s three blocks wide and i can keep on using this it never runs out so it’s a permanent water source right there much much easier to use that way now that we have our water

Bottles we next need some another work and i have my network form right here just outside the door and you don’t need much just replant just knock them down and then replant immediately and you get a whole bunch in other words this way more than you’re going to be needing

So a small farm is really just fine there we go and that’s all set to go and let’s take that back in and we’re now ready to brew our first potion right click to open up the brewing stand and start by putting your blaze powder into

The fuel section now we’ll be doing an awkward potion that’s the base for all of your standard portions you have another wart on the top and then across the bottom you have your water bottles it takes the same resources for brewing one to three so always do three whenever

You’re doing any kind of brewing it’s just going to save you a lot of time brewing time always takes 20 seconds but i’m speeding that up here in these videos for just five seconds when you’re done just go ahead and pull those out and we’re now ready for our first potion

And we’re going to be needing some sugar so let’s go outside and grab some sugar cane to make some sugar the three basic crops you need for doing potions and the first one here is sugar cane for making sugar so i’m just going to grab a whole

Bunch of our sugar cane here it’s a real basic farm we need this anyway from making paper so it’s always good to have a good supply of sugar cane next to your base let’s go along here and just grab a whole bunch of this that’s fine over

Next to this there we go there’s my little bit of a carrot farm so i’ll grab some carrots also get that out of the way there we go okay grab some carrots when you’re doing carrots just replant them like that click and then replant and you’re all set to go

Okay that should take care of it let’s finish off this row right down here there we go well that was easy but don’t worry if it’s harder we’ll have to be fighting a dragon towards the end of the video so stick around for that put the sugar cane in the crafting table for

Sugar and then in the brewing stand put the sugar up where the nether where it was like that and we then need to get those awkward potions and put those across the bottom so you always do your main potions built from those awkward potions and i’m speeding up this speed here to

Just five seconds normally it takes 20 seconds in there and that gives us our potion of swiftness this is a portion that you drink we’ll be doing splash potions and lingering potions but for now let’s just put these into this chest for use later on our next portion is the

Jump boost and for that we need a rapid foot so let’s go outside and get a rabbit’s foot you have a 1 in 10 chance of getting a rabbit’s foot from a rabbit so this could take a lot of rapid so i’ll start off by just breeding a few

Good use for some of those carrots that we harvested earlier we’ll try this rabbit right over here see if we can get this guy here we go and there’s a rabbit foot okay we’ve got a rubbish foot so we’re all set to go now this is one of the

Potions that we need for the furious cocktail advancement that we’ll do at the end of the video put the rubbish foot in the top of the brewing stand and then like before we’re going to be putting the awkward portions that we brewed previously in the bottom of the stand

There we go and this will then give us that jump boost effect we’ll let this go ahead and brew through jump boost and we’ll add that to our collection right back over here now for our next potion this is the underwater breathing potion we’re going

To have to get a puffer fish so for that we’ll do some fishing a little pond right here just over next to my base pretty easy and we’ll just go ahead and fish in here now i’ve cut out all the wait time between each one of these fish

Showing up so this will go a lot faster than you would think normally fishing is pretty laid back nice time to relax and just kind of see what’s going on got some nice boots there and let’s keep on fishing until we get ourselves a puffer fish they’re pretty frequent

It won’t take you too long to get a puffer and we’ll be just find them for our next potion and there we go there’s our puffer fish so we’ve got that and we’re all set and then let’s get back to the base and brew up our next potion so for this same as

Before we put the awkward potion across the bottom your purple fish on top and that’s going to then give us that underwater breathing there it is really useful potion and we’ll put that back into our store bin now to the potion of slow falling and for that we

Need to get a phantom membrane so i’m up here on top of my base of the top of my castle and i’ll make a dark i’m just going to get rid of all of these torches around here get this thing dark and we should be able to get a phantom pretty

Quickly here they’re pretty frequent at night whenever you’re outdoors from clear space and there’s one right there and if we time this just right this would be really easy there we go and we got our membrane first try that’s real nice okay let’s go back to the base and

We’ll brew up our potion here of slow falling same thing in the bottom you put your awkward potion and the fender membrane goes on top lets us brew through and we’ll then have our next potion and there we go potion of slow falling and we’ll add that to our collection

The next portion is real easy but very important that’s the healing potion and for that we need to get some melons so back out here to the farm we’ll describe just a few melons in here i have three ready to go right now we’ll get those

Now this takes a little bit of setup so let’s go back in here we need to take our melons and go inside of the crafting table and then surround the melons with gold nuggets that gives you a glistering melon over here is to the same thing for

The carrot for another potion so i have two potions now that both use those gold nuggets that we grabbed earlier back to the brewing stand and we’ll start off with the glistering melon up here in our arkwood potions of course and that gives us that instant health

Over here let’s go ahead we’ll do that golden carrot again awkward potions on those because it’s carrot this will give us that night vision again a very useful potion and we’ll just put those over there into our chest now while we’re here we have one more we

Can do real easy and that’s just using that blaze powder with the awkward potion and that gives us the strength potion right there and same thing we’ll just toss that back into our chest the next question is very important especially if you’re going into the nether and it requires getting some

Slime balls now i have a swamp over here this just down the hill from my base and i’m always finding slimes walking around down here in the morning so we’ll just take care of these slimes get those slime balls real easy to do they’re real simple to kill as you can

See now as soon as 1.19 comes out we’re going to be having frogs in here as well but right now we just have just the slimes running around let’s get those last two slime balls and we’re all set okay let’s go back to the base and we’ll

Now take these slime balls and go over to the crafting table and get some blaze powder and a slime ball that gives you a magma cream and that’s what you need for this potion so put our magma cream here awkward potions and then when this is brewed up it’s going to give us

That potion of fire resistance very important and we’ll just put that back into the chest this next potion over here is really useful as a splash potion or as a lingering potion because we’re talking about turtles as you can see this is the slowness potion it’s called the turtle master it also

Has a protection tied into it so it’s a slowness plus protection kind of interesting one now because this takes a long time takes a couple of days this whole segment here actually took about an hour and a half to film all this then i’ve cut it all the slow bits and i

Built this little hide back here this little hut i can then wash the turtles during the night not get bothered by any mobs out there now to get the turtle eggs you have to breed turtles simply use seagrass to breed turtles they’ll lay eggs then watch the eggs and again

It can take a long time for this to go it will then hatch into these small turtles and then once the turtles grow up they’re going to shed their baby turtle shell which is called a scoot and we’ll get that now if they jump into the

Water you have to follow them around in the water we’re in luck one baby turtle stayed on the beach back the rules watch that one okay there we go it just grew up now we need to go out there and we’ll see that scoot be sitting right there

Next to them there it is you want that and that’s what we need to do that turtle master potion i need five of these so it could take you a long time to gather all five scoots we’ll go back here to the base i already have my five

Set to go and i’ll go over into the crafting table over here and make a helmet out of that that’s your turtle shell and we’ll use that turtle shell to brew our potion and again turtle shell and then our three awkward potions let that thing brew down and then we

Have our potion of the turtlemaster which is slowness plus resistance for this next potion we’ll have to go back into the nether we’re here on top of my bastion ruin base in the nether this is a good spot to find gas because they’ll be flooded around these big open spaces like that

And they like to spawn over soul sand valleys and basalt areas and we have a lot of that happening in there i also have a couple spots where hopefully i can get a gas over like that spot right down here in that spot over there if i get a gas over

One of those spots then i can kill the gas and it’s going to be dropping a gas tear onto land that i can actually get to okay something just shot at me so we’ve got a gas here somewhere take a look around not seeing anything here it’s got to be

Over the side that’s where the fireball came out there he is okay let’s see if we can get this now he’s just off the side there of that i think he’s over hard to tell okay i couldn’t tell from my angle if he’s going to be catching the edge of

That or not so we’re gonna have to go down and see if the gas tier fell on that or if it fell off the edge and we can’t get to it only one way to find out we’ll have to go down there and take a look

So here’s my staircase to my lower level and here i can go through the wall right over here i have another staircase hiding behind that bit of wall there let’s just open that up now take a look around see if i can find a gas tear down here it’s going to be

Off to the left-hand side because he was right over that edge again don’t know if it’s going to be here or a knuckle take a look that’s my inside of the base don’t see anything over here we’re right against the edge right there okay there

It is we did get it okay we’re in luck almost fell over the edge okay let’s grab that and there’s our gas tier to make the potion of regeneration we’ll go back here to the brewing stand put the gas tear on top and again the awkward potions across the bottom

And we’ll let that brew down and that’s then going to give us that potion of regeneration and there it is okay we’ll just take those out of that brewing stand okay time to switch to the dark side we’re now going to turn those potions into poisons and for that we

Need to get some spider eyes there’s a few spiders walking around here outside at night that’s fine these are pretty easy to get as well oh something hit me okay another spider that’s fine and a zombie let’s get rid of those guys get that spider there’s our spider eye

Okay we’ve got our spider eye now we need to change the spider eye into a fermented spider eye and it’s brown mushroom and spider eye and sugar and those are fermented spider eye okay so go back here to our brewing stand and start with regular poison that’s just a

Regular spider eye and the awkward potion right down here and that brews into just poison there we go there’s our poison if you take that fermented spider eye and then brew that with just water bottles not awkward potion just a water bottle down here this will give you

Another potion let this go ahead and brew down and this gives you the weakness potion which is right there you can also use a spider eye to invert the effect of a potion making swiftness slow strength weakness that kind of thing it doesn’t work with all potions

For instance it doesn’t turn the fire resistance into a fire potion but there’s a list right there on the screen of which ones you can invert using the fermented spider eye let’s see how this works you put your potion in the bottom spot your fermented spider eye in the

Top spot well then brew that down sort of brewing the spider eye into an existing potion this is pushing a swiftness and this becomes a potion of slowness now these negative potions are great for use as splash potions and also as lingering potions you also can extend

A potion making it last longer or enhance a potion making the effect a lot stronger and for that we need a couple more supplies we’ll first off go back into the nether and find some glowstone we need some glowstone dust this is usually hanging around it’s

Hanging off the bottom side of cliffs i found a spot here where i can go up one of these trees and get to that pretty easily this way sometimes you have to come down to it or lose of a platform or a pillar to get up to it but i think i

Can reach this one here we’ll see if i can get up there try just a little bit more and we’ll just grab some of that now just using a regular ax in here we’ll knock this down and get you that glowstone dust which is all we need okay

I think i can reach that there we go you want to get as much of this as you can very very useful so wherever you see this just grab everything i’ll describe just a little bit right now just for this video you see the dust right down

There there it is there’s our glowstone dust next we need some redstone dust and i have a mine right down here mine shaft i dig this when i was digging out some iron but it left in some of this redstone let’s go ahead and we’ll grab

This real fast just a little bit of redstone dust in there and look over here on the side there we go it looks pretty good i think i have just a bit more just past this spot i see some right down there we’ll dig down to that and get that sensor

Right here and let’s dig that out get those last couple of pieces in here and that’s all we need for right now now to use these you brew them into your potion in the exact same way that we did with the fermented spider eye so place our

Potion in the bottom of the brewing stand and then our glowstone or redstone dust in the top and a bruise down just like before now you can do up to three at a time i’m just doing one right now now the glowstone is going to double the

Strength and it’s also going to make it last just half as long now the other one is the redstone and for that same thing you put the push in the bottom redstone on top and this time it’s going to change the duration from 3 up to eight

Minutes so it more than doubles how long the effect is going to last all right let’s now work with splash potions with the splash potion the bottle shape is different as you can see and you simply throw this at a mob let’s just throw it at that llama right there there

You go hit the llama well that was really rude okay now to do a splash potion we have to get some gunpowder and get gunpowder from creepers and there’s some walking around over here that didn’t work let’s try another one of those there he is see if we can get this one

Nope still no good i’m just not fast enough right now kind of a slow day but bow and arrow always works we use a bow and arrow over here on this creeper a couple more shots there we go and there’s our gun powder you change our regular potion into a splash portion

Just put your regular portion in the bottom put your gum powder on top and then brew that down it’s going to turn that into a splash potion this will work with all of your standard potions and there we go there’s our splash potion of poison

All right the last kind of potion is the hardest to get and that is the lingering potion let’s first go outside and i’ll show you how this thing works we’ll go back to where those llamas are what you do is you toss this it’ll land on the ground and create a cloud

There and the cloud has the potion effect in the cloud any mob walking into that cloud is going to be affected by that potion effect now the problem with this is it’s very hard to get this we have to have dragon’s breath to actually make this thing work which means we’re

Going to have to go over into the end and fight that dragon and get that dragon’s breath so it’s an end game kind of a thing to do here now my plan is just to hang around by these towers and as he attacks i’m just going to keep

On gathering up that dragon’s breath now as long as you’re gathering it up it’s not going to be affecting you so just have a lot of empty bottles ready to go and keep on gathering up that dragon’s breath there you go to switch over real fast of course i brought a lot

Of food also and every chance i get i’m going to be stocking up on food so i don’t get killed off now out near these towers the interment aren’t that big of a problem but the occasion one is gonna show up i’ll just kill them off here pretty quickly and

Then eat some food again fast just to make sure that we stay alive to do this there we are so i’m sticking around right by these towers and grabbing up all of this dragon’s breath as i can and then just eating that’s the whole plan here and

Whenever i can i’ll just get that dragon a few times with arrows and pretty soon we’ll take care of that dragon now obviously if you’ve already killed the dragon you can’t do this but there is a way to regenerate the dragon and i’ll be showing that in a later video all about

The ender dragon but it’s not that difficult to do it just requires going into the nether getting some gas tears and a couple of things not a big deal okay let’s keep on shooting that dragon and working him down looks like i got ended up in there by accident but that’s okay

So every time he attacks i’m just gonna take my empty bottle and fill that up with more of that dragon’s breath and just keep on working away also having empty bottle syrup is the best way to protect yourself from that dragon’s breath because while you’re picking it

Up with the empty bottle it’s not going to be affecting you it’s also a great defense as well it’s kind of a slow way to get rid of the dragon but it keeps us down here at the end now i think we’re right down to the embassy we’ll get the dragon and

There we go we’ve already gathered a lot of that dragon’s breath now once he is dominating then go back and use that dragon’s breath to create our lingering effects i always love watching that of course we get a chance come in here and gather up all that xp

And also we have some of those ender pearls in there so let’s walk around and get all that picked up it’s going to help us out a lot later on in the game here there’s a lot more see there’s a whole bunch of this xp that’s showing up we

Were down to eight now we’re up to 67 and some more ender pearls in there and now we have our portal back to the over world let’s hop back in there and there we go it’s back inside of the stronghold let’s go back to the base and there we go 64

And 23 so 87 of that dragon’s breath now make a lingering potion go back into the brewing stand you have to take a splash potion and then take your dragon’s breath and that splash potion brew those together and that’s going to be giving you that lingering potion so it takes quite a few

Steps to get to this point even after we’ve done all that work fighting off and killing off that dragon to get back here into the oval world okay last thing to do and that’s the a furious cocktail advancement here let me show you what i’ve got for this we have

Portion of fire resistance pushed invisibility this is the potion of night vision with the fermented spider eye added to it portion of leaping that’s that jump boost night vision swiftness portion of strength potion of poison pushing of regeneration slow falling water breathing weakness and the portion

Of the turtle master now notice how i have the ones that last the longest over here i’m only going for the three minute ones so one’s the last the longest up here and then we come down to the shorter ones in here 130 and i’ll be finishing off with that turtlemaster

Which is only 40 seconds and that should allow us to get this whole thing done in one shot and we can get that advancement now i haven’t done that before in this world so this will be a new advancement for me let’s see if we can make this

Work all right and we’ll just start drinking away and let’s start yes one there’s invisibility portion of leaping right there there’s our night vision there’s swiftness there’s portion of strength so far so good there is poison that’s not too good regeneration here’s our slow falling and now we have to quickly get these

Switched out for our last three there we go and then water breathing and weakness and finish off with the potion of the turtle master and there we go a furious cocktail of course we’re kind of sick not feeling so good after that but we did it we got

That final advancement there without too much trouble as you can see and of course i’m invisible right now because we have that invisibility added on there also so there you go that’s how to do all those different potions here inside of minecraft and i’ll see you next time
