Throughout 2023, I’m going to be showcasing new mods released for Fabric each month. As I list each mod, you can see the version they’re available for at the time of this video. Though Fabric mods are pretty fast to update, so I’m playing all of these on The latest version. Each time a video is released, they’ll be covering mods from the previous month, so all of these mods were published throughout December. And if you like the look of any of these mods, you can find them in the description below. A few of these Were also mentioned in my latest Forge videos, so I’ll include those at the end of the list. Next Progression adds some new tiers of armor into Minecraft, with the first armor made from Light, Dark, and Mangrove Woods. When it comes to stats, these are all ranked below Iron. Eloquenite Provides slightly fewer stats than Diamond, but if you wear the full set alongside a Lumin Helmet, the nearby area will light up. Amethyst-Diamond Equipment is stronger than Diamond and weaker than Netherite, and there is a Sword available too. Netherite Diamonds are craftable, with them Being quite expensive. Or there is Steel Armor, which is ranked just between Iron and Diamond. The Auto Attack Mod will time your attacks perfectly when holding down the left mouse button so that you deal the most amount of damage possible. An action will happen as soon as the Sweep Attack becomes available. If you’re playing multiplayer, then you might like Ping Wheel. You can ping an area to other players, with it also showing the distance in blocks. It also allows you to ping an item, so a small icon will be placed to indicate the location of drops or ground items. Table Top Craft adds Chessboards, which can be created from different styles of Wood. Unfortunately, I struggled to get this mod to function with both Optifine and Iris. When sneaking and right-clicking the Chess Board, you can start a new game, And then you and your friends can compete against each other by taking turns and moving the pieces. In the Chess Board settings, there are quite a lot of options when it comes to customization. There’s also a Tic Tac Toe board which can be created From Paper and Coal. And it could be possible that more games will be added in the future. One of the first features provided by Witch Mobility is the Broom, which can be used to fly throughout your world. These have crafting recipes and can be placed Down in your world and mounted like you would with a Horse. Currently, there are 6 Brooms, which include the Blue Bottle, Firebolt, and Silver Arrow, and they each have different speeds and agility stats. You can use your movement keys to control the direction and Momentum of the broom and use the Spacebar and Control keys to ascend or descend. The speed and agility stats can also be increased by equipping the new Witch Suit and Hats. This mod adds the TARDIS from Doctor Who. To start, you’ll have to head underground and Look for a TARDIS Root. These are pretty rare to find, as they only spawn in these small pockets. For the Root to grow, you’ll need to place it on a Magma block and wait to fully mature into a TARDIS Plant. Once grown, you can go inside to find your own personal dimension, Which takes the form of a cave. Inside, you can start a terraforming process, which converts the cave into a complete TARDIS, which takes around sixty seconds. And at the center is a Computer Shell, where you can change the design of the TARDIS and Have it move throughout the world by changing the coordinates and enabling the throttle. Another magic-themed mod is Wizards, and it starts by adding a set of Wizard Robes which will increase your overall spell damage. There are also some different staffs and wands themed around Elements like Arcane, Frost, and Fire. To apply Spells, you’ll need to use a Spell Binding Table, which works similarly to an Enchanting Table. Then you can switch between different spells on the spell hotbar, and cast them. And to be able to cast spells, you’ll require some different Runes. And some new structures are added, which contain Wizard Merchants who’ll sell magic-related items. Pack it Up adds many new Backpacks, which can be created inside the newly added Pack Bench Block. Firstly, there are three regular Backpacks, which can hold two, four, And six rows of regular items. But there are some themed packs too, like Armor Packs which provide storage and can be equipped into the Chestplate slot to give some defensive stats. There are also a few extra packs that can only hold specific items, like Blocks, Food, and Tools. Farmer’s Delight was recently made available on Fabric, and a new mod called Chef’s Delight has been released. It adds two new professions for Villagers: the Cook and the Chef. They can be recruited by giving villagers access to a Skillet or Cooking Pot. But they can also be found spawning in some new structures within Villages. They’ll sell different items from the Farmer’s Delight mod, including completed meals and raw ingredients. To start, More Chests adds Chests which are made out of each type of Wood, With them each having twenty seven slots. And the standard Chests are still obtainable. Some metallic Chests are added too, which are made from Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite. From Copper to Netherite, they’ll have 45, 54, 72, 108 and 162 slots. To craft them, You’ll have to start with a Wood Chest, and upgrade your way up to Netherite. This mod adds three Repair Kits, which are made from Iron, Gold, and Diamond, and they repair 150, 250 and 550 durability on an item. They’re quite expensive to craft, Requiring 11 Iron, Gold, or Diamonds depending on the tier. To use them, hold an item you want to repair in your off-hand slot, and right click while holding the Repair Kit. Dark Mining will allow you to obtain extra items from Mining, so when breaking Stone, You can also obtain Sand or Lapis. From Dirt and Sand, you have rare chances of obtaining Diamonds, Glass Bottles or Iron and Gold, but again, these chances are rare. When in the Nether and mining Netherrack, you can get Golden Apples, Gold Ingots, Beetroot, and Red Mushrooms. And in the End, End Stone might also give Ghast Tears, Glass, Ender Eyes, Iron Bars, and Ladders. With Frogvasion comes some new species of Frogs, like the Armed Frog. It’s hostile, and will attack you by firing a load of hostile tadpoles at you. Likewise, there’s the General Frog which is a mini boss, and it can hit for quite a lot of damage. There’s even an Explosive Frog, which will follow you and blow up like a Creeper. And you can find a Grappling Frog, Growing Frog and Ender Frog, which will teleport around. Farmer’s Delight supports Roughly Enough Items. But after installing Just Enough Farmer’s Delight, all the recipes and uses for these items will also become available with the Just Enough Items mod. So that might be useful to you. This mod adds the Laser Source block, and it’s quite expensive as it requires End Crystals, But you’ll obtain 2 each time. These can be placed down on blocks, and triggered with Redstone, causing a Laser to extend outwards 15 blocks, and you can walk across them, or use them as retractable walls. So they’re quite useful in many ways. A new structure mod is Unwrecked Ships. It adds seven variants of Ships that can be found on the Oceans. As the name suggests, this mod is supposed to give you an idea of what the Shipwreck structures would look like If they were still intact. There are only a few minor differences, mainly regarding the Sails. And like with Shipwrecks, you can find some Chests inside containing loot. Higher World Deeper Ocean aims to improve the Ocean and stop them from feeling like Rivers. The mod moves most of the world up by 32 blocks while the bottom of the ocean will remain at the same height, increasing the distance between the surface and the bottom of the Ocean. And really, the effects are pretty noticeable. Towers is an add-on for the Structory mod, but it can be installed as a stand-alone. Currently, it adds just over 20 different Towers into Minecraft, which can be found across the Overworld, End, and Nether. No new items, blocks, or creatures are included with the mod, So it compliments the Vanilla experience. Some structures you can find are Temples, Outposts, Pillars, Towers, and even Fire Watchtowers. When exploring these new locations, you’ll often find Chests and Barrels containing loot and other useful blocks like Crafting Tables, Beds, and Furnaces. And it’s compatible with the Waystones mod. Flowery Mooblooms is an add-on for the Friends and Foes mod. While the original mod adds the Moobloom, this addition will include a new Moobloom for each type of flower, such as Allium, Cornflower, Poppy, and more. So in total, expect to find around 16 different variants which can be sheared for their flowers. Small Biomes does exactly what you’d expect. With it installed, world generation will be changed drastically so that Biomes are much smaller and more compact. Even across a hundred blocks, you might come across multiple biomes, which makes for some interesting terrain. You can quickly travel between the Plains, Desert, and Jungles within a minute or so. That’s the end of this video. I’ll be back very soon with more content. ⁉ What is this series? This is Fabric Mods of the Month! Each month, I’ll cover the newest and most interesting mods released for the Fabric mod loader. Fabric is quick to update, and its users tend to stay on the latest versions, so most of these mods will be shown for the newer versions of Minecraft. The list will cover mods released in the previous month.
⁉ Explain the Mod Versions? At the beginning of a showcase, I’ll show what versions it’s available for in a small graphic. If it shows Minecraft 1.19.X, then it means that the mod is available for multiple versions of Minecraft 1.19. I’ll only do this for the latest version of Minecraft, referring to the final version for previous, such as 1.18.2 and 1.16.5.
⁉ What are the Shaders? I’m using Complementary Shaders. Inside the Shader Options is how I achieve the depth of field effects. No special settings are chosen; it’s just on the High preset.
