Hey YouTube this is Raj intend to be looking at the top seven enchantments for the bow in Minecraft so why don’t we get started so the first thing that I should explain is when I’m talking about these enchantments these are gonna be summarized if you want a more detailed Look I have more detailed videos about each individual enchantment and also how I rank these is based on what my opinion first of all but basically what increases the use of that enchantment on the bow and really what’s fun so number seven is the curse of vanishing so this Is a curse enchantment one of two in Minecraft so it basically means that when you die that item will disappear so if you have the bow with really good enchantments on it and you happen to die it’ll be bashed and you can’t recover it you can only get this enchantment Through chest loop fishing and villager trading so basically just watch any of the bows you get through these ways and also any enchanted books so you don’t end up putting an enchanted book that has curse of banishing on to your bow so number six enchantment for the bow would Be the punch enchantment so it’s similar to the knock-back of chapman for the sword basically when a mob gets hit with this enchantment they’ll be knocked back several blocks so the maximum level is – basically it’s three blocks per level that they’ll be knocked back so the maximum could be six So I’m going to quickly test this out to see how useful the punch enchantment is so you can see that the mobs kind of moving back when I actually hit them so yeah you can see so it might be useful if you’re getting swarmed or you’re Getting attacked by a mob and you just want some breathing space to be able to attack them again so the number five bow and chairman is the unbreaking enchantment and the embracing enchantment is useful because it reduces the amount of durability that is used when you use that item so with the bow Normally you use one durability each time you actually fire an arrow so it reduces the chance of durability being used and the maximum level is three so to give you the formula it is a hundred divided by bracket level plus one bracket so if you have unbreaking 3 this Means you get four divided into a hundred and you get 25 so you have a 25% chance that we could decrease the durability so this means on something like a bow you could put drupal the amount of durability that you get on that boat so it can make it Last a lot longer so the number four enchantment for the bow is the flame enchantment and what it does is it basically lights mobs on fire so it can do more damage to the mob because they’re they’re on fire so the maximum level is 1 it does 4 damage over 5 Seconds so I’m going to quickly show you how this works so I have a flame enchanted bow and I’m just gonna throw it at this guy and you can see he’s lit on fire and he’s taking damage from that so if you want to increase the amount of Damage that you do with the bow it’s definitely useful to have the flame enchantment on that bow so the number 3 enchantment for the bow is the mending enchantment and the mending enchantment is one of the best enchantments of Minecraft you basically can obtain it through chest loop fishing raids are Also villager trading to maximum levels one and what it does is when you get one XP you repair two durability on the bow so items have to be in your hand your off hand or your armor slot in order to be repaired if you have multiple items With mending one is chosen at random and if that item already has full durability it’ll be applied to the players basically their XP and their enchantment levels so the big thing about this is it’s incompatible with infinity enchantment so this means that for the bow you have to choose either between Mending or infinity so the number two enchantment for the bow is the Infinity enchantment and what the Infinity enchantment does is it basically allows you to shoot arrows without them actually being used so you need to have one arrow in your inventory for this to actually work and the maximum level is One because it only has one purpose to it so this doesn’t work for tip or spectral arrows it’ll just ignore the enchantment and it’ll just shoot like a normal bow and it’s incompatible with mending so either you have to have either an infinity bow Or amending bow ok so I have a bow with infinity on and I’m just going to test this out so shoot this guy you can see that the air being consumed even though I’m shooting it and it’s really useful for the bow especially because you’re not having to Use as much resources to actually use the bow so the number one enchantment for the bow is the power enchantment so what it does is increases the amount of damage you actually do when you shoot arrows so the maximum low is five so to give you an idea of how much damage you Can actually do when a bow is fully charged and you actually shoot it and hit the mob with an unenchanted bow you do nine damage with power one you do fourteen with power to its 16 power 3 is 18 power 4 is 20 and 23 so if you look At the difference between an unenchanted bow compared to a power 5 bow you can almost instantly kill a mob if you have a power of 5 bow so this is a really useful enchantment and almost a chairman you have to have if you have a bow if You want power 5 on your bow you only can put it on with an anvil so you base that to find a book that has it and then you have to sacrifice it into the boat in order to get a power 5 bow so I have I’m just going to do a quick Demonstration so there is the cave spider here I have my power 5 bow and I shoot them and I pretty much instantly killed the cave spider if you have a bow it’s definitely useful because it does a lot more damage and makes it a lot more Of an effective weapon in the game so that was the top 7 bow enchantments in Minecraft if you want any more detail on each individual on chime and I have
