Hello my name is trider welcome to part two of the spartan classes tutorial let’s pick up right where we left off alright so last time i think we had just about gotten to the knees so we are going to start again start off on our right foot over here and start

Counting of blocks another episode where trader does a little else but counting blocks so that was five one three one one here and then what i think that was six and two two here two there one here and one there and then over here starting on the outside two three four five

Six two one two two here about five two and four and uh six blocks back here for the spear all right so we’ll look at all that from the top down here and go on to the next phase this one is i’m mostly obsidian we have little uh bands

To denote the top of our footwear here so starting on the right foot again as we do one two three two two well one one there and then one one two three four five two here four one one here four at the front and then two right there all right over here on

The side of the left foot one two three four five six then two then two back here two again two more and five two and four and it’s going to be another six blocks for the spear back here as well but as you can see it says leaning forwards

As we go and it’s going to be doing that the whole way up pretty much there we go top down and top down again or we start over here on the next one all right more block counting one two three four five six seven and then four on side there for a total

Of five two here four one one here four across the front and then two all right one two three four five six seven two here three two two here two is there one uh one here two across the front two more and one therefore that and uh five blocks here for

The spear all right top down from that and let us keep going we will go for i think in this one we can get maybe somewhere around the chest or at least the the middle part of the breastplate maybe i will go for as long as i can talk it’s

Pretty much the only limit to these episodes one two three four five six here four along the back two four two now two there four three and over here i’m always roughly starting at around the same place on all these uh legs here three two one one two two here one there

And what four one one four again and then two and then five locks for the spear there all right and as we go just remember you can pause the video and replicate what you see all right top down and we’ll start counting blocks six then three two two three four five one

Both before and after i placed the wall just for completeness maybe someone will need that two two one three two one one two three six two two more and then three over here three two one one two three ones diagonally then four two and then uh what

Four and two more ones diagonally and this here for the spear video is probably going to be a record for how many times i have said one two or three but uh well hang on top down before we start as you see moving along two two two two again

Through the video we might actually get up to where we can connect our legs together all right top down and over here two two two three two um two and then one four one one three then uh three diagonals over here three two one one four one what’s that going to be six

Two diagonal four then uh two more diagonals and four here for the spear all right all of that there the next phase one one that’s what four diagonal then four straight one two two two one then four then two diagonals and a two all right over here three two

Uh what two and then a one this little l shape right here four one two here one there four and then two and then five for the spear all right there we go it looks like we have a couple of freestanding blocks i think these are going to be the bottom

Of the the little uh kilt around that’s hanging from the belt extra armor pieces uh what is going to be five two two three four five one two three one one uh five one uh we’ll we’ll come back to this one one two three four five one one one four one

One two three four five then two diagonal two two again and two more and six for the spear and for this one right here you just have this one up one little block uh this is as i said it’s part of the little armor that’s hanging down from the belt

Much farther up we’re going to need to be building that as we go and i think if i just give you start with the top down view for this one and let me give you a real close end view so you can properly properly cite this here

And how many blocks is that it’s just like two blocks from this point here like so and let’s move on to the next phase and we have more of these floating blocks in this one that we are going to need to take care of before we start let’s take a good close

Look at things do some block measurements so that’s uh three blocks out this way here from that this is the one we just built so you’re going to be putting three blocks on top of that and and so let’s take measurements from this actually so after you built that

Three blocks you want to come out three blocks more and then place a block here and then from the side of that one you want to come out what four five six seven come back a block and place that block there from that i think that will do all right so one

Two no wait uh it’s going to be what three three diagonal then one more one two three four five two here and then one five one one two three four five six seven one here and then three along there all right over here four two two here one five two three

Two diagonal two more here and uh well just one there and this could be what one two three four five six seven and it looks like six for the spear and uh these blocks that i already measured out for you before that we started all right so take a look at all that

From the top down things are getting a bit more complex all right moving along and next phase you can see we have the lower parts of the little uh armored kilt hanging down from the belt it’s probably got a name i think it does i don’t remember what it’s called though anyway

One here and what one two three diagonal three one uh probably one here also then two one here two two again one two two here i think then one one out here two along here well one there and therefore run there we’ll come back to this in a moment let’s

Get the legs traced out first three two two two here two again two more one four little l shape there what one and i think two here also well i want one two three four five six and then one diagonal and uh five for the spear so these blocks here is

Going to be part of the kilt that’s going to be hanging out so they want to come out one block there and over here as well now this is the three diagonal that we i mean straight that we did over there so you want to place three more on top of that

And then we have a three diagonal for this one over here then a straight run of three over and i think we have some at the back so you should have already placed this block so on top of that you’re placing a straight three and then to site this block you just

Continue this over for three more and place that block there and let’s take a look at all this mess from the top down there we go this is a prime example of why i decided to slice this massive statue into one block slices because if i if i did this with two

Blocks you would you would lose track at that point i’m i’m quite sure okay so over here for the legs again one and well i mean as you can see at this point some of the little um hanging down uh the the free parts here

Uh some of them are attached to the legs around the the armor around the back on especially on the sides so that’s what uh this is gonna be here all right so uh one one two one one here and uh probably three along there two one two three four five

Two here a one there four along there one and then another four all right so it’s going to be what one two two here one well no two two three one here two there one two three four five one two one one here there and two here one there and two there

All right so let’s uh take a good look here oh we’ve got a three and then one three diagonal here straight three along there we have some at the back this three here three again three here and ten then to get these freestanding blocks just extend that for two and then place a

Block there and then come out three blocks go back two blocks and place that block right there i think that’s probably going to be all of the lowest parts of the armor i believe we’ve gotten all the way around and also uh five over here for the spear

All right top down view of all this here gonna be one of the more difficult sections i think once we get past this won’t be too much trouble this is to be for several more phases i think all right one one two two then what two

Two across here and then one back here two one one two three four five two here one more three across here two uh one here one there two more and then one all right across here we have three one two two here one five i think that was five yes

One one two three four five six one two one here one there another one two two and then one and then four for the spear all right let’s take a look again so we’ve got three one here three diagonal and we had something at the back so three here three there three

Here and this this weird two and one combo over here right whole thing tom down and moving along next phase here i think we are about midway up the thighs i think what that looks like so long way to go three three here one one what you got one and then three

One here two two there four one two one three uh what one well two and then two diagonal and then two all right three one one uh two and one two here five one one three three again one two then one then one one one one two

One and another one all right then cross here three then one here three of the cross there so i’m at the back three three three that was easy and then uh two and one here and what five for the spear all right whole thing top down

And next phase and it looks like we are now starting to do the uh the very most uh bottom section of the the big round shield and kind of see that forming off in the distance the lower parts of that so we are now up to that level so that’s gonna

We have to make that measurement let’s start the whole thing from the top down and the same place that we have been starting on the the right leg over here two one two one uh what one then three one and then well that should be two then one and one two three

Four five six seven three then one two three four five six and then four there two four and one one here two one two three four five one one two three four five six seven two diagonal a one here one two three four five six then two there and then

Three one and three diagonal three across here and then back at the back three again and the three uh what three and then one here one here and two there and then four for the spear so let’s take a look at this from the top down

And close here and now we need to go make the measurement for the lower part of the shield so let’s take this point here which we constructed already so from this point we want to count out what 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. 13 14 15

16 17 blocks and then come over back what one two three three blocks there so 17 out this way and then add another three other three blocks back here for a total of four and then you want to make three blocks and then one right there for the lower most part of the

Shield so now we’re getting really complicated we are building not only the the legs but the the lower parts of the armor the spear and the shield and we’re going to be building the shield for quite some time to come i think and uh what’s that it looks like i

Actually missed the block in the reference model i didn’t notice that i wanted to go back and see if i made this mistake or not i probably did actually looks like i didn’t see it anyway now this stone block here this this should be gold or copper or whatever

Whatever color you’re using for this material all right so what one two three four five six and then what two one one two one and then i think some of this is visible from below so it’s going to be three one and it looks like we’re joining up in the middle now

One here uh probably what four no six across there then one uh one here and how much is this visible from below some of it is all right so one here three then what well no two one two three four five six one here well back up a minute that’s

Not going to be visible on the side so it’s going to be one here five two there one here one there two one one one one four ones diagonal and then what probably what four one two three well two and then three and one and then two

And then we need to build in that there and obsidian three a diagonal three across here uh three for the spear and then back here for the armor we need to add in these blocks there one and two then one three three here and three across there

Like so and let’s come over here and take a look at the shield all right so you can get your bearings here are the blocks that we just placed so on top of those gonna be this block here that’s gonna be what three and two and one one two three

Two there one here one one and one two three three and four and then three more like that there for the shield from the top down and the main part of the body now and it looks like we have gotten to the point where the legs sort of

Um collide together so that’s good that’s a milestone all right over here one two one start here five one two one one well two two here one two two one one no no yeah three one three one then two one one one here two one two two but two diagonal one

One and one two one and one and one one two three another one here one and two and one and what one two three two and one and then three diagonal across the front there like that i think we’ve gotten past the most difficult part of that

And then a four there for the spear let’s go over here and count the shield so for you to get your bearings down here we have these four blocks so just going straight up from that’s going to be this block here and then three two two two again three two

Then uh what two there two three two three three again one and then i sort of just you know this this pattern right there and uh i broke that one and then four right there so there’s the contour for the shield not only is it round but it’s also at a slight angle

So slice by slice is going to look quite messy but the whole thing when viewed from distance will look quite nice all right over here three two one one two here three two one one well that should be four three uh one then three one two one one here two one three

Well what one one and one three one and yeah uh one and three right there then three across here then one then what two then four one one and one and then five for the sphere let’s take a look at that there and let’s go over here and measure for its shield

So at least for the first couple i’m going to try and start on the block directly above this one but as we go up that’s going to be more impossible to do that’s going to be that block there well we really need to come out one block for over here and build three

Then two two again one three one one and another one there three two three three again three four one two then three four and then three for the contour of the shield heel is only going to get bigger as we go on all right over here on the side

One two three four five two two again three three one three one three one two one one then one two three four five six then one one one another one two one three one one one and then one one two three four Two and then one all right and then four for the spear as you see there take a look at that from the top down there we go and then over here for the shield all right so uh what that’s where we are first block here unless that’s going to be right there

And we want to come out two three one two one four one two one there three two three again another three two three uh five one then four five three as we go top down next phase over here two three one two three three again two one two three one four then five

Two diagonal another two diagonal there six then what one one one three one three and then a one all right and uh looks like it’s in b4 for the spear right there let’s take a look at that from the top down here and now for the spear the not the spear the shield

All right get our reference block gonna be that one there i think it’s going to be that block there so we want to build three two two two again one two three one two one two four two two one two three and one one two three four two four again two here four

Then one two three four five and three and there’s that entire thing from the top down all right next phase even more counting to do five two two two here three two two um no one one three two diagonal three five one two one and then one two three

Four five six seven eight one two two and then two and then we think we have five for the spear and we’ll take a look at that from top down i know some people find the top downs more useful than others but i i try to include them for the sake of completeness

Over here all right uh can we establish that block there it’s going to be that block there all right so two three two one two one two two one two one two three two two two four two three four five two and then three two three and then one two three four five

Six two three four there we go and uh top down for the shield and let’s go on to yet another phase the whole thing over here for this one before we start four one uh what can be several one two four and diagonal two two three four five one one two one two

Three four one two one two three four five six seven eight one two and then a two diagonal and then six blocks for the spear i think we’re getting to the point and the spear i think the the the arm is going to be coming down somewhere around there fairly soon

All right top down a little closer and over here for the shield let’s see if we can establish that block again as we go up that’s going to be harder to do i think it should be there three two two two uh four twos one two one two two here one three three

Two two three one two three four three four five six right yes two four one one well yes one one and then one one two three four five six seven eight nine i don’t think we’ve got a nine yet one two three four and there’s the the shia shield from the top down

All right do another phase now over here well let’s start with the top down over everything here all right four one one well so three diagonal then one two three four five six four two two five one one four three one one uh what that’s uh it’s

Gonna be a big diagonal of what one two three four five six so a six diagonal and then also six blocks for the spear all right top down and let’s do the shield again uh let’s see it looks like that now hangs out three long so that should be that block there

So come out a block there and then two three one two two here one one one three diagonal two one three two two one two one two two again one two three four that’s how much is that gonna be one two three four five six seven eight nine two two here one

Two and then one two three four five six seven eight nine four and then three all right and there’s the shield from the top down and another phase all right four two one two three four five six seven eight nine three one one two three four five six two two here two again

Three two one uh three diagonal and then two and then a six four your spear like that there i think we’re getting about to uh somewhere near the waist i believe we’re just about to build the lower part of the belt it looks like and up here for the shield

Let’s see getting harder to establish where that block is going to be i think it’s here so that’s going to be three two two again another two one two uh what one two three diagonal two two here two again two two there one two three diagonal two two again the third two

Three point one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven we definitely haven’t had eleven yet three uh one one again two and then uh probably what another nine one two three six seven eight no it’s an eight then four then four again and all of that to build the shield

And we’re not even halfway up the shield yet so let’s do a bit more whole thing from the top down and let’s go over here three two two one two three four five six three one two five two one two two three four five one one one

Uh that’s a diagonal of what four four ones and then two and then a six for the spear all right let’s take a look at that from the top down and let’s now do our shield so where is this block going to be i think it is there three two two

Two again two here one one uh three diagonal then two one one here well two there two one two two here another two one two one three three again one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen three one one then one one two three one oh

Yeah and then one two one two three four five and then four and then that gives us the arc of our shield all right i think i can keep going a bit longer no idea how long it is so far one two three uh well hang on i need to get the top

Down views first when i start just throwing down blocks like so there we go now we can throw down blocks three two two again one two three four five six three here one uh two diagonal five two one two one two three four five and then a diagonal of what one two

Three four and then a two and then how many for the spear one two three four five six for the spear and let’s take a look at that from the top down all right let’s see if it’s still possible to cite our control block here it’s like we’re hanging out three blocks

Right there so it should be i think it’s somewhere down there now so it’s probably just about the last time we’re going to be citing that control block but as we go along i think enough of this shield is built now that we can get along without it so two

Three two one two again one two three four diagonal two one here one and two is there another one three three one and then two two again one three three again and then one that’s going to be quite a run one one two three ten one and then one one two three four

Two one two and then what one two three four five ten three four all right top down there we go maybe a little closer all right let’s keep going here looks like we’ve got a little bit of the uh a little bit of one of the hands forming down there and probably also

Over here at this level so let’s take our top down views over there and over here so it’s going to be a little bit more complicated because we’re starting to build the lower most portions of the hands which means the the forearms and everything will follow quite soon for that

So over here three two two one two three four five six three two diagonal five two one two and then a five and then a diagonal of one two three four and a two and then over here for the spear we have six and for the hand that’s sort of wrapping

Around the spear we have these blocks there made out of plain stone what we’re using for our skin texture just a plain brown stone i mean brown plain gray stone nice if we had brown stone i did ask for that one time but i guess nothing was ever done about that

Well let’s uh see so i will start here then what one three two two one one one two one one two again one one there what what two two two one three two two two uh was that four twos three and then a long run of one three nine two then

Six two and then one two three ten five two and then uh there’s this four block thing here because that hangs out over the shield and from this point um right here come out three blocks and then place down three and then two for the lowest portion of the hand

Of the down there all right so let’s take a look at this from the top down and then move on to the next phase i think we are actually at the midpoint of the shield now or close to it anyway so let’s start with our top down views

Over here you can see more of our hand interacting with the spear and the other hand in the lower most portion of a bracer attached to our shield over here all right five one seven three one one two three four five six two one two three and then a diagonal of uh

What five there over here for our spear we got what one two five three one two three four five right there but i think we need to we need to fill in that lowermost portion probably with some extra stone anyway for that and the top down over here and over here

For our shield let’s see if i can find a reference point for this no not really it’s really it’s blocked off by the bracer here Let’s start at the at the front now i think that’ll be easier for you to see where this particular one starts as we follow the the curve of the shield around so what one two three four five six twelve and one one two two two again and then two here although

Some of that if there are holes in this i think probably probably some of these blocks around here need to be filled in also then one two two here two two again two here two lots of twos more twos even more twos one two three four five diagonal three one two one

Two what one two two here two diagonal another two yet another two a third two uh what four then seven two another two three three and one last two lots of twos on this one there we go what a complicated shape we have going on and let’s continue on again as we do

Four one four three again two one then what one two three four five six one two three and a diagonal of five all right over here for our spear can we get a good reference point for this i’ll just try and show you all there all the way around the spear

Let’s try and start in the middle uh we have here the lowest most portion of another i have another bracer for our arm our outstretched arm holding the spear so uh let’s start i think here with uh five two one two three four two one three two two back here

Five for a total of six and then a two diagonal like that there like that over there and now let’s turn to the shield for that we’re going to be starting from the front now that we’ve kind of lost our reference point that we started with okay eleven one one here

A random little torch that i hit for lighting uh not necessary for you to place although i think if you are building this this in survival you probably want do want to festoon your build with torches uh one two and one one two three four five uh one three two then three two

One here another one there one two one there two a three diagonal two one here two three one two one two uh what one and another two second two three four six two one through one three four five six then one and then a two uh and but over here

For this one i have stretched uh stretched out i have sketched out the outline of this but for some of these sections that when they overhang there may be a block gaps so you’ll want to come down under here and make sure all this is filled in

We mustn’t be having any any holes in our statue there we go and this next phase over here all right here we go i think now we have finished the belt so we are building the lowest most portions of the breastplate so let us continue with that four one five three two one

Two three one two one two two here and a three diagonal there and then over here let’s get a real good look at what we’ve got going on here so you can properly cite these so let’s start um right here with a two two two again

One two three four five six seven eight nine ten three one three four four again and then three and uh top down and let’s do the shield now let’s get a real good look at this all the way around and we’ll be starting at the front with three then three another three

Five two three one two three four uh what one then two one one two then one two three four five two one two two again two yet again another two one one two and two here to there two again one one that’s the diagonal three two two one three two

Three here three there then one one two three four five then two one three two ago three again and then a third three so let’s take a look at this mess from the top down there quite complicated but i believe you can do it month that’s going to be all the time we
